Very spacious room

Staff are all nice and helpful. Very quite and rooms are big. The only problem is that you have to pay for the Ice if you request for it. They charge 25 pesos for small bucket of ice.

It was clear that management was working hard with employees to be pleasant and helpful. Very nice. Great fresh fruit shakes. Some renovations were going on during my stay, so smells of paint and glues, etc. in the lobby. This room had a balcony and it was nice to relax with fresh air, However, confused roosters next door did not know when the sun was rising and were crowing through the day and night. Over all, it was a good experience, only minor disturbances.

Clean, bathroom are big, bedroom has Terrace.

Located walking from largest shopping mall in iloilo and accessible to all business establishments which is wonderful

Check in was a breeze as I arrived at night. The room is big and clean.. the linens were clean and toiletries supplied was sufficient for occupants.. conveniently located across SM Iloilo in mandurriao.. will stay here again if traveling to this city

The room is spacious and clean. The staff are courteous and accommodating. One disadvantage is the water pressure from the shower, it goes from trickle for good flow at certain time of the day, though the faucet water was nice. It’s noisy outside (but that’s beyond the hotel’s control), overall my stay was excellent. Thank you.

A home away from home.

Service and accommodation was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and the hotel is very clean. The hotel staff were excellent. I will definitely stay at this hotel on my next trip again. The location is central right across a major shopping mall. Transportation is right outside the hotel. The neighborhood although is an older part of the city it was still safe to walk.

No pool or ecercise facilities, but close to major mall for food and shopping

Our room (102) is the very first one on the ground floor, it s adjacent to an office room. The door that leads you to the hotel rooms on the ground floor (that says for hotel guests only) squeaks. So we definitely can hear the sound inside our room whenever that door was opened On the night we checked in, there was a staff christmas party, unfortunately for us, it was above our room. On our second night, we can hear the next room’s television and conversion because the door the connects both rooms has a gap from the floor of about half and inch. Lastly, there are at least two big rats running above our ceiling :-(. Someone should set up a rat trap There are no windows on the rooms to the right side of the hotel. Otherwise the rooms are clean and the reception has good enough space and our stay includes breakfast. I would have given 4.5 if not for noise. Thanks,

The room is so tight you can’t even move coz there is no space

The room and comfort room is very spacious. But you can hear everything thats happening to other rooms even in the hallway.

COZY STAY

I LOVE THE HOTEL FOR ITS CLEANLINESS AND KIND STAFF. ALSO IT'S VERY CLOSE TO SM ILOILO VIA BRIDGE. THE FOOD IN THE COFFEE SHOP WAS ALSO DELICIOUS.

This hotel does not have hot shower. It’s not only in my room but in my friend’s room as well! This is a midrange priced hotel and for them not to have a basic amenity like hot shower is very disappointing.

Staff are rude and no consideration. Dirty

Requested for 2 beds but was given on 1 Queen bed. Not accomodating. Want us to check in exactly at 2pm even its 1:45pm. Staff no consideration. We dont recommend this place its Nasty with dirty bathroom and stinky bedsheets.

Staff needs more training in providing options.

The staff was not helpful and were unwilling tonlend help or provide other options. Our room was too small for an extra bed. When i asked for other option, the staff flat out said there was none without giving other possible work around. Not a good cust service practice.

Location, price and services were great. Breakfast had limited choices, but that goes with the price. Took long time before shower water was hot; to save water they should do something about that.

J7 is one of the best budget hotels in Iloilo, considering it's location which is just a few minutes walk to SM Iloilo.

We really enjoyed our stay. However, sounds of cars or karaoke from the street outside were quite unpleasant. Also, our water heater did not work.

Very hospitable manager and all staff including the security guards.

1.Place not sound proof, hear all conversation between rooms, a person'cough, noises from the hallway. 2. Sewage system not good. Have bad smell coming from the bathroom. Have to close the bathroom door so add not to smell the bad odor.

J7 Hotel is a boutique hotel across SM City Iloilo. Nice interior design. Close to shops and nightlife. Manager Ernest and all the staff are very courteous and helpful. Will definitely choose this hotel again when we come back to Iloilo!

The staff were very friendly. They always greeted me even if they were busy. The room was good and clean. The only problem I had was that one of the windows was not able to be closed.

Happy at J7

Stayed 4 nights. Everything about j7 was good. . All the staff from reception, bell boys to doorman were just so friendly. Welcoming drink was appreciated. Room was also very comfortable. AC newer style. TV had many stations with English news and movies. Breakfast buffet was plentiful with eggs your way. Only minor issue was at night , light from a.c., and some lighting that dims but stays on. We covered them with clothes. We wanted to extend our stay because we were so happy here but they were full. Location was unbeatable. Best part of Iloilo city. SM only short walk. After a month traveling in Philippines this is the best.
