Propery was ok and I understand it was cheap so don't except very high .

Very Solid Hotel in a central location

Had two rooms for the four of us (two teenage boys). Was conveniently located in a good area, and was clean and well kept. Would certainly stay there again.

The stuff are super nice! Especially the employees who work in the kitchen. They went above and beyond. The guards as well very polite people

The room was clean and spacious, providing plenty of room to move around. Additionally, the price was very reasonable given the good condition and amenities.

Please AVOID this hotel if possible

The soundproof is extreme terrible. You can hear the guest next to your room wash hands, flush, showing, evening talking. The room is not very clean. The guest before me had used the cup to brush the teeth and they dont clean it and they just put the cup back to next guest. Also, i found a clipped nail on the floor. Please AVOID this hotel if possible.

the hotel servicing is over then my expectation before I'm check-in, especially the reception staff they're very Enthusiastic and professional, the hotel location in the downtown central, this hotel make my trip have a very nice ending for this time.

There is only one elevator in the hotel. In the morning rush hour, long wait is not good.

I stayed at this property for 4 nights with my partner on arrival to KL. There were limited photos on Google and Expedia but we took a chance. The hotel is more of a budget hotel for the area. In terms of location, we loved it. It’s very walkable to Bukit Bintang and The Exchange TRX. It’s in an area with a bunch of other hotels and nice restaurants and malls. The room was tiny and wasn’t in the best condition. There were scuffs on the walls and caulking was falling off. It was annoying that there was only one universal outlet in the room while the 3 others were not. They could do with some renovations. I don’t think I’d stay here again but if you’re on a budget it’s a good option for the location.

The hotel is in a central location although there are limited facilities in the immediate area. The car park uses lifts for the cars, which are quite difficult to get in an out of the car. The bathroom in the room is very small, with the door opening inwards rather than sliding. This means you have to move yourself awkwardly around the toilet to close the door

Nothing to complain. It’s better than a certain 4-star hotel I stayed in Melaka. It would have been perfect if they can get rid of the narrow sloping car parking rack which serves no purpose. Service is excellent. Place is clean. Walking distance to Pavilion & Bukit Bintang.

Even though it takes only 5 minutes to the main street, the pavement of the side street is uneven. Cars do not stop for pedestrians. The staff at the hotel are very polite, friendly and helpful. We are on the 9 floor, the room is spacious and bright.

It's worth all the money! I really like the property and how compact the room is because I like small, but compact room. The location is in the middle of attractions like Pavilion, KLCC Suria mall, Twin Towers and new mall called TRX. It's the nicest budget hotel I have ever stayed in Malaysia.

Excellent service provided by the staff during our stay in J hotel. Hotel is near to TRX exchange mall and MRT. It is 8 min walk from hotel to TRX mall and 15 min walk to Berjaya Time Square.

We recently had the opportunity to stay at J-Hotel by Dorsett, and it offered a convenient location just a 10-minute walk from Pavilion. However, we would recommend taking a Grab ride as the alley leading to the hotel can be dimly lit and give an unsafe impression. This short ride typically costs around RM5-10. One notable aspect of our stay was the sound insulation, which left something to be desired. We could easily hear our neighbors laughing and the sound of doors opening and closing. This did affect the overall tranquility of the room. The room itself, while compact, was well-equipped with essential amenities. It included a table, a safe box, and provided toiletries, including a toothbrush. While it may not be spacious, it was functional and suited our needs during the stay. In conclusion, J-Hotel by Dorsett offers a pleasant stay, especially considering its price point. Its prime location and essential amenities make it a practical choice for those who need a convenient base for exploring the area. However, potential guests should be aware of the sound insulation issues and consider alternative transport options to ensure a comfortable and safe arrival.

Safe box is to small n not tide, can be carry away !

A nice new hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's located close to transport, shopping and entertainment. There is some construction going on around it so the street is a bit of a mess but the hotel is fine. Only issue i had was with the very small fridge, other then that it's a terrific hotel.

Wouldn't stay here again

Bit of an odd place in an odd location. The road leading to it is awful with abandoned cars and potholes. It's also pretty dark. Had a huge pillar in the middle of my room which was quite inconvenient. Only 1 chair to sit on and a tiny, pretty ineffective fridge with no freezer compartment which I hate. Requested a high floor which I didn't get. Sealed windows which I find quite claustrophobic.

Close to central KL Near to a famous nasi lemak - Surrounding are mostly buildings in construction works - Some rooms are smaller than another

Near pavilion with walking distance 7min only. Recommend for this hotel with good service.

J Hotel by Dorsett is a hotel that is great value for what you get especially if it’s just for a comfortable place to sleep. Checking in was quick and efficient which was great for me especially since I arrived at midnight. I did not have much interaction with the staff but they seemed reliable. The rooms are well decorated and furnishings are adequate but not finished perfectly. I saw switches that were not screwed in against the wall which could possibly be a hazard. I never really got to check out any of their other facilities so I can’t make a fair judgement. The biggest pro is that although it’s immediate facade are construction sites, good food and big shopping centers are quick walks away. All in all it was an adequate stay and if I’m back for a short stay, I might stay with them again.

Staff were great, location was convenient and close to everything that we required and walking distance to train stations. The room was big and neat, the only disappointment was that our bathroom was not clean when we arrived but it was quickly sorted out by the staff. Pleasant and friendly stay.

The room design is ok. Bed is big. got 4 pillows which is good. But the air cond is very noisy. I set 23c and it keep come with big sound. suspect is sensor issue. Keep repeat the whole night until i set it as 25c. really sleepless night. Hope the hotel team will look into it.

Car park are too limited and not suitable for big vehicles like SUV. They will ask you to park you car outside. Other than car park, all are good.

值得贊是員工非常有禮貌、服務也很很好。是次入住原因是和家人小孩入住、非常接近柏威年廣場、之前也入住付近的酒店非常方便、和小孩是免費入住、但是前住柏威年廣場帶著小孩非常麻煩、因為沒有交通燈或班馬線方便行人、橫過馬路非常危險、酒店付近一片爛地。下次不會考慮再次入住。

此旅館雖沒有附近大飯店或網紅等級的完整設施（沒有游泳池），但是地點位置極佳、房間光線良好、整齊清潔、早餐簡單卻營養衛生、並附有小型健身房。稱得上是「麻雀雖小五臟俱全」的商旅型小飯店。看得出管理團隊的用心，得以在四、五星飯店林立的黃金地段，以高性價比取勝。

Hôtel bien situé. La chambre est propre et la literie confortable. Bon séjour en général. Deux bémols ; le service de chambre qui tape a la porte trop tôt pour le nettoyage de la chambre. Les fermetures automatisées très bruyantes des portes de chambre .
