ITC Windsor is an excellent hotel, very well run with attentive and courteous staff. The rooms are clean and well maintained. I will definitely stay there again.

Great property, very friendly staff. The dinning options were wonderful. The area that we stayed in is freshly renovated. The only issue we had was fresh paint smell which was a little overwhelming.

Room and bedding is luxurious, food was very basic and bland, especially South Indian dishes in buffet. Some staff are ok, some don’t acknowledge any Indians, I saw them smiling at foreigners but head high when they pass by normal looking Indians

Not at all quiet. You cannot sleep here either in the day or night. Desk staff is completely incompetent.They are just trained to smile and say sorry for each and everything. And then they repeat the same mistake again. My room was changed thrice. Air conditioners of all the three rooms were not working. And there were technicians who were constantly called upon to fix ACs of other rooms as well. No respect for privacy. I specifically mentioned that my work hours are in the night and do not disturb me in the day time. But even when my room is on the DND, the staff is calling me to check for god knows what. Constantly had to struggle to get my zomato delivery. This is at best a 2 star hotel. I would not recommend it to anyone

Amazing hotel from the British colonial era

Outstanding hotel. Service was excellent from all parts of the hotel - front desk, restaurants, pool, etc. It is an old hotel, with classic beauty with many paintings and decoration from the time of British. Hotel breakfast quality and selection was outstanding. Plenty of hot water and flow in the shower. Very large, comfy towels. I wish I had an excuse to stay here again.

We got a club room since there was three occupants. We enjoyed the club facilities in the evening and the staff provided a very welcoming experience. No need for dinner if you can enjoy the evening hospitality. Beautiful chocolate shop to get custom gifts for people on short order - A mega plus. The smell of chocolate, free. Breakfast and the options to choose from was excellent. We could easily stay there for couple hours and enjoy the hospitality and the variety. Awesome. Well done. Many different nooks to hang out and enjoy in the hotel and relax and be there with family and still get privacy while enjoying the nice surrounds of the hotel. Will go there again if another opportunity presents itself.

The staff at the property during my stay were more than gracious and hospitable. Specially staff at the restaurant, sweet shop, front desk, transportation and a few others who i interacted with during my stay made me feel very comfortable. Thanks everyone.

Excellent property.. Staff need to be more trained in restaurant. They forget orders, delays in orders, and no one dedicated server for a table and thus mixups/ missed orders. (Took us 25 min to get a can of sprite) Staff also need to give way to hotel guests. They walk across guests with plate full of food and it’s just not courteous. It’s basic training. The hotel rooms themselves are good but dated especially bathrooms. A tad disappointing considering this was one of the marquee hotels in Bangalore. I guess you can definitely see a difference between a Taj and rest.

When we checked in, the checkin desk person said that the stay comes with complimentary breakfast. But, the next day morning, another person at the checkin desk said we had to pay for it. We ended up paying. This is very poor behavior for such a top rated hotel. Late in the evening when we wanted to dine in the hotel's restaurants, none of them allowed us in, saying that advance reservation is needed. This kind of treatment should not be given for folks staying in the hotel.

Great Place to Stay

We stayed a night and it was pretty good the time we spent there. We had dinner in one of the restaurants inside and the food was amazing and checked out early in the morning. Did not spend much time to write a detailed review. Everything is very good with the exception of bathroom. Bathtub is not the great but can adjust.

Beautiful historic hotel. Great service, very accommodating, attentive and on time. Old style historic decor. Loved the balcony in the room, library with bar service options and good book choice, chocolate store - handmade chocolate was wonderful, and beautiful small garden. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Bathroom needed a bit of upgrade.

What I like about this property is it is in the heart of the city; British style grand property. Lot of parrots on the trees. What I did not like about this hotel is, they gave me an invoice of Rs. 25,000 for phone calls made locally, 1 STD call and a few lSD 1 800, 1 877, numbers in USA. I was horrified, but had to pay. Surprisingly, on my airtel plan, it only costs Rs.10 per minute for ISD calls. It may be even cheaper for STD calls. I will never stay on this property again. I got the best deal on Expedia for my stay here. Only $ 50 per day. Total of $ 264 including taxes. The invoice they gave me for phone calls made on those 5 days was, $ 357 ! I didn't like the way they made me pay such a high invoice for a few phone calls! Beware there may be exhorbitant hidden costs.

A luxury hotel midst bangalore. ITC is doing its best for maintaining a least touch method. Rooms are great. Very helpful staff and room service was adroit. Restaurant service can be better, it seemed to be severely short sraffed. Especially Raj Pavilion. Buffet breakfast spread could be better.

Not prefereable, cost is very high as such no services, room service is very slow.

Very good location, excellent hotel, excellent lobbies and sitting area, very good breakfast.

Its my third time at this property. Their services are top notch and food is mouth watering. Anyday anytime i would suggest to stay in bangalore at ITC Windsor. Their staff will go out of their way to fulfill your requirements. I have never experienced such hospitality anywhere else in india.

No rattling connecting doors please.

The check in was a breeze. The room was small but neat. The only problem we faced was that the room we were given was one with a connecting door which rattled each time the people in the other room opened and closed it, which was so frequently.

Excellent Stay with some Minor Issues.

Everything is Good.. Only issue is the Room provided is not Sound Proof. Each and every word from Other Rooms is heard inside. So Sleeping was a bit problem due to sound from TVs in other Rooms. Also, we tried a lot to connect to travel section but nobody was picking for a very long time.

Enjoyed the stay

In general had a good stay. The hotel was busier than expected for these post Covid times. I guess it’s important for guests to understand there are two distinct sections of the hotel. The one section is quite old and they have kept most of the grand elegant feel. Obviously bathrooms, etc are also outdated in this section. The second section is much newer so facilities are better. There are many dining options and a very good Irish Pub as well.

Their service is to the next level . I have received best hospitality Till now. Their staff is very courteous.. excellent service , superb property, gorgeous rooms ..

My Room was in the old section. It was splendid. But the old-style bath with fixed shower-head was a bit dangerous! The narrow, curved, slippery bath tub made turning round to get wet all over was tricky: only possible by holding tight to the grab-rails! No one actually has a bath any more: a quick shower is more normal. A hand-held, telephone shower-head would enable one to spray all round without pirouetting round on the slick, curved, narrow bath tub bottom and liable to slip and fall. I missed a nice, roomy, shower cubicle: I'm sure the new wing has more modern "mod-cons"!

Amazing!!! 😊 The property itself is Elegant and Beautiful. We were amazed at how well appointed the rooms are... At Happy Hour, we also had the Margarita and Veg Masala Pizzas. Great Food 😊 Christopher was one of the warmest and Gracious of the people we met in India. (Also very Interesting!) All of the staff were Amazing. Although we were here for pleasure, the staff helped take care of a business matter back Home. Best property by far we visited in India!

Bathroom could use a little freshen-up. Entrance hall could also use a little warm-up. Otherwise, it definitely is The Manor. Breakfast is marvelous.

Historic but property upkeep needs attention

The upkeep of this historic property lacks attention from the hotel management. The room was in top shape. Many places in the hotel were visibly poorly maintained, examples include carpets in the corridors leading to the rooms, baseboards in the white breakfast hall, almost all benches, light fixtures and tables in the lancelot garden, walls in corridors with obvious water damage (discoloration, paint bubbles). If a guest for one night can notice such things, not sure how does the maintenance folks miss them.

Well located. A little shabby when you looked within 1m of the very elegant finish. The finish just seems lacking. I seemed to be somewhat ignored during the checkin process for the local and slightly older members of the party.

The rooms are showing signs of ageing. Sofas, bed upholstery, lamp shaded etc are all stained. Our rooms were apparently upgraded but unfortunately seems like we were at the losing end of the bargain - lost our view plus room quality was disappointing.

I never stayed at the property I had to cancel 2 weeks before the start of my stay and the hotel kept 100 percent of my money I will never stay at an ITC again

Staff avoids honouring the booking category and knowingly provides room with severe repair work noises... had to change the room twice to get some peace... takes ages for in-room dining takes to pick phone... it tool more than 30 mnts to be able to place dinner request... it’s seriously gone bad... though I have had amazing experiences earlier with the property

Room air conditioning was poor

Tired hotel and, in some places, tired staff

Generally not clean in the breakfast area over the 5 days I stayed. Food was passable Bar staff were very good when attentive. Pool was not working. When I found ants in the bathroom I checked out at two days before I had originally planned. Staff wanted to see what they could do to get me to stay but there wasn’t anything at that point.

Everything was great. One point which you may like to consider. The safety locker in the room is located at the bottom, - you need to go on your knees or lie down on the floor to access it. This is not convenient.

Upgraded to suite !

Service is really good . I love the Bristish type decoration. It is pity that I stay only one night.
