Quite and staffs are friendly and super helpful
A pleasant place to stay. Will definitely rebook it
Property has beautiful garden . GREAT INDIAN and Continental breakfast. Absolutely exceptional service.
Staff was very helpful. Rooms need some updating. Food was quite spicy and they had difficulty toning it down for foreigners. Ended up eating pasta or elsewhere at times. Very close to the Taj Mahal so that was nice. Could not see it well from the roof bc of the smog. More mosquitos than I had seen elsewhere.
Very convenient and near the Taj.
Nice place . Room was a bit Smaller than expected for the price . Staff were extremely nice and polite
Felt very old and tired.
The whole staff, from check in/out, hotel service, to dining, was absolutely amazing and incredibly respectful.
Beautiful hotel
] Air conditioning sounded - [ ] Phone not working - [ ] Not even the internet - [ ] Literal wet mattress - [ ] Blackout on three occasions
Luxury for a lower price
Luxurious hotel especially for the price. Good location.
The service is always exceptional at this hotel. The staff are friendly and very helpful… I personally find the food options in the hotel really good too. Breakfast is tasty and don’t miss out on the Peshwari restaurant. The grounds of the hotel are always well looked after and clean. My only comment would be the gym could do with a freshen up and maybe better AC.
ITC is a very beautiful resort, however the room were a little dated. I booked 3 rooms, 1 room did not have wifi, the TV was outdated and did not have Netflix. The service was great and buffet for breakfast. The street entering the hotel is very busy and noisy, it’s hard cross the street there are no stop lights, at one point I called a rickshaw to just cross the street. Do not believe google maps a lot of places didn’t exist or did not look like the pictures. I went to a mall near by and it was deserted the roof looks like it would cave in a few souvenir shops were there but over priced. I felt very unsafe around the area and I was with a group. I mainly chose this location to visit the Taj Mahal, there aren’t many shopping areas or things to see or do in Agra.
Good
Great
Had multiple issues across 2 rooms the two days we were there. Check in and check out was not smooth.
Sure, here’s a shorter, simpler review for ITC Hotel Agra: --- I had a wonderful stay at the ITC Hotel in Agra. The hotel is beautiful, mixing traditional Mughal design with modern comfort. Our room was spacious, nicely decorated, The food was amazing, especially the breakfast buffet and the specialty restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed and more. The hotel’s spa and pool were perfect for relaxing after exploring the city. Overall, ITC Hotel Agra offers great service, comfort, and a memorable experience. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Agra. ---
Doesnt get better than this in Agra
This is an exceptional property, in an interesting city. The hotel and its grounds are 5-star. Beautiful and from the roof ypu can see the Taj Mahal. The breakfast offering and quality is great. The local tea made with ginger delicious. The rooms are large and beds and pillows best around. Had a great night sleep. The gotel looks after everything. Truly a must stay if you come to Agra.
Amazing
Excellent hotel with great staff. Nice room, nice breakfast.
Delightful
The stay was amazing. And to top it all.. the food and hospitality were top notch.
This hotel was very dated dirty, furniture is broken, plugs broken, stained bedding, bathroom fittings hanging off the walls, smells carpets sticky, no WiFi. Food was unbeatable very hard to complain, took hours for the manager to do anything after constantly complaining eventually the manager agreed and refunded all costs, I am still waiting for the refund to be paid into my account From Expedia, there is no knowledge Of this, I need somebody to contact me ASAP
Great!
Great hotel! Amazing service and a beautiful property!
Our stay here was excellent. Right from check in to check out was smooth. Ride to Taj from here was only 10 minutes. Property is very well maintained and felt very peace here.
good location, very clean, great staff
We stayed two nights at this hotel and were expecting a 5 star hotel as indicated via the Expedia booking site. Our first impressions were good up to checkin however our room was tired and needed an update. The room above had a chair or table that was constantly moved a lot which vibrated very loudly into ours. The buffet is extensive and being over Easter there were lots of hot cross buns and other treats on offer. The head chef went out of his way to make sure my wife and daughter’s dietary needs were taken care of. One down side was the number of young children putting their hands all over the food due to a lack of parental supervision. Other staff throughout the hotel did their best to make us feel comfortable throughout our two night stay. Overall I think the 5 star rating is over inflated and I would be pushing to give it a 4.
This was our second time staying at the ITC Mughal and it was better than we remembered. The staff were excellent and were readily available for assistance. The rooms were spacious and clean. Special shoutout goes to the housekeeping staff, not only for making up our rooms but also setting up an extra bed in our room. Would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a luxurious stay in Agra!
This is an excellent property with very nice location and easy to commute.
This is a somehwat dated property but still quite nice.
Beautiful oasis of calm
We had a pleasant stay in this beautiful hotel. The service was great and staff were helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of options. The only issue we had were the soft pillows and bed which affected our sleep. The staff provided us harder pillows the next day.
ITC Agra is a wonderful hotel with great staff
.
The service was truly exceptional on all levels! The suites were amazing!!
Love the ambiance and hospitality of the hotel staff. Food was great
Excellent hospitality. The food and lodging was very good. The property is spread out, so great for a nice walk.
Large, well-appointed room. Excellent breakfast. Amazing gardens with flowers and fountains. Very relaxing hotel.
Great hotel! Service was fantastic especially James who helped with my bags.
Nice enough hotel, convenient for the Taj Mahal. A little more tired than other ITC properties (such as Jaipur). Our room was large and pleasant, but dated, and could have been cleaner. The bar feels a bit ‘transitory’ (there is a corridor running through it). Altogether the stay was fine, and most are only here for a night as that’s all that’s required to see Agra’s main sights. Some staff struggled with English (again not something we’ve experienced at other ITC properties). There was a bit of a faff with the bill on check out - receptionist denied a hold had been placed on my credit card - I had to show him my credit card app to prove it had and then he seemed unsure at how to release it - still pending!
Restaurant food is average
Possibly ready for a little freshen up on the decor side soon, but all in all it was a very pleasant stay. Staff were excellent.
A beautiful property! Great staff! Delicious food at their restaurants! The best SPA - Kaya Kalp - a must try experience. Hands down the best.
An amazing experience. Exceptional quality food, staff and surrounds
I had placed 2 service requests through phone, both of them for TV/streaming service not working. I had to personally go once to remind them that my TV was not working. Then somebody came and helped. Second time, nobody came to look at the problem even after 12 hours and we anyway were checking out after that. So, I can say don't expect good service in this hotel ! Baaad Service
Nice entrance and gardens, but not a 5-star hotel from the bedroom to the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, as well as the waiting service. While we were there, the hallways were bustling with families and children running around late into the evening and congregating in a single room with around 10 people.
The hotel and grounds were just beautiful ... and the staff was incredibly helpful. Our only problem was that we couldn't stay longer! :^) -- Paul Burress
Not worth it if you want a relaxing stay
Hotel was far too loud and noisy. We had kids running up and die our corridor for what seemed like hours after 9pm. Parents nowhere to be seen. Room was ok but there was a dampness particularly on the bedsheets. The restaurant food was average but overpriced. Went to a fantastic restaurant right across the road where the food was a third of the price. To sum up not worth the money if you’re looking for a relaxing stay.
Dated, needs renovation
The property is a bit dated with serious need for renovation. Doesn't offer much in way of a luxury resort besides some gardens. Was staying in a royal suite & the '"club lounge" served in basement was basically a very sad event with 4 cold kebabs & some IMFL Overall way behind other 5* hotels in the area
When I was talking about my room problem. They solved quickly
Amazing architecture, swimming pools and restaurants. Gave it 4 stars as it lacks elevator, which is a must for in 21st century hotel.
The property is dated
Amazing and friendly staff! Sonu, Bhim, Sonil and Ravindra at the buffet breakfast were very hospitable and kind. We were traveling with children and they were very accommodating. I would be excited to stay at this hotel again!
Friendly staff
Will exceed your expectations!
This is the place to be this hotel makes you feel like you are the royal king of that city.. Food breakfast the buffet dinner it's top of the line you'll be licking your fingers. The service and the safety fantastic The place is gorgeous for any events the photography videography couple photos they have many events during the day that is included in the hotel room price. We even went horseback riding for free. Events such as astrology, magic shows for kids, they even had a trainer in the gym. They have kids section where kids can go and play. Zumba classes. Multiple pools. You can have the view of Taj mahal from the top of the hotel. Very friendly staff.
A beautiful property with a super helpful staff (especially Dinesh and the front lobby staff and Raju their driver). Very comfortable and able to arrange anything you want to do in Agra. I would not stay any place else. I just wish I could remember all the staff’s names to thank them for a great stay.
Great property
Water doesn’t flow smoothly in the shower room
Great Hotel
Comfortable stay but the service falls well short
The hotel is very comfortable but the service really disappoints. There are not nearly enough front desk staff and the ones that I dealt with were stressed out and unhelpful. Having to wait 30 mins to check in and then dealing with a grump is an extremely poor experience. Similar experience regarding transport, the staff won't call you a taxi - your choices are to either take an overpriced hotel car for the day or walk down the long driveway and find a tuk-tuk - not great when you have luggage. Finally, I had no incidental charges on check out but the hotel held the $60 deposit for a full month (even after following up by email weeks after check out), which I find completely unacceptable. The service is nothing close to what you would expect in a 5 star hotel - you'd probably find more helpful staff in a guesthouse.
Please be sure check in time .
The rooms are in need of a major overhaul. Common areas have been updated but rooms are very old. Very limited powerpoints, bathroom only with shower in bathtub and poor lighting. Gym equipment outdated.
It’s not baby friendly Rooms had water logging in washroom due to bad design of wash basin There were mosquitoes in washroom and we couldn’t spray pesticides as we have a infant with us. We also saw other rooms but either they were not appealing or had bad design. There was plumbing issue too. Overall I would not suggest to visit again and especially with infant.
Very good
Very good hotel.
Would not revisit this hotel.
Very disappointed. Very expensive for what it was compared to other Top hotels in India. Tired building, poor service almost faulty towers esq, no Indian beer only Budweiser and total calamity when trying to put dinner on the bill. Would not revisit. Dinner in peshawari v good and Jaipal Sinu was great on security team.
Amazing
Everyone at the front desk and tour guide were very kind and efficient with the services and the attention ...special thanks to Chhote Khan and Jaipal...
Property is a little rundown, but still a very good hotel. The restaurant Peshawri is a must in Agra. Very well located in proximity to sites to be seen in Agra. One of our reservations were not found had number but not name, so had a delay in checking in, it was an uncomfortable situation.
Nice balance of operating as if a big chain but relaxed enough to be “holiday”. All areas were roomy, spacious and never crowded enough to feel imposed upon
We only visited for 1 night to visit the Taj Mahal/Agra Fort however it was perfect. Our waiter helped advise us on when to go where and the best way to travel. We wandered the grounds and saw so many monkeys (great for us, maybe if you’re not a fan steer clear of the back lawn). It’s so calm and peaceful, great view of the Taj and the restaurant downstairs is great. The staff were just lovely and so helpful. Loved it.
Solid 5 Star Hotel
Well equipped gym, smart TVs, and the sound of water fountains all over the property give a very tranquil feel. I had an issue with having children running around the halls being loud, this seems to be common in Indian hotels. I did get sick from food (now on day 5) on the day I left. It had to either have been something from the breakfast buffet or “pinch of spice” restaurant across the street since those were the only places I ate. Agra is a very impoverished run down city with poor hygiene so be careful. Overall this property was much better than the nearby Radisson, which I had originally booked but abandoned because it was so noisy and actually a 2 star despite being advertised as 5 star.
The architecture and gardens of the hotel are beautiful. It does feel like a contemporary interpretation of the Mughal masterpieces. The staff members are extremely kind, friendly, and pleasant. Don’t rush your experience in Agra! Consider at least three nights at this hotel. This will allow you to enjoy the Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri, and other sites. Importantly, it will also allow you time to enjoy the hotel: the gardens, swimming pools, beautiful halls, gym and spa, they were all very nice.
Great property!
Good overall
Everything is great at this hotel. We really enjoyed our 2 days stay.
Hotel rooms are in bad condition. Not good hotel
the property was ok but the Douche was leaking so the toilet floor was wet all the time
a lovely place to stay, excellent service
Fantastic experience
The ITC Mughal is well located, close to Taj Mahal as well as Agra fort. The property is huge and tranquil. The staff was extremely friendly and caring. Nisha at the front desk was helpful, welcoming and friendly. The rooms were nice (slightly outdated but clean and well maintained). The food in the property was beyond exceptional. The dinner at Peshawari is hands down the best food I have ever eaten. Hats off to Chef Surat. Every dish was exceptional at the restaurant on their fixed meals. We had eaten at Dumpukht in Delhi ITC Maurya the previous night and the food here was 10x better. Amit steward at peshwari was very friendly and kind as well. I will come back here to stay for the meals alone.
Excellent
Worth a visit
Very courteous and helpful staff, awesome properly to walk around, extensive and beautifully landscaped gardens with many water bodies, nice place to lounge
Points to consider Staff clearly indicates that they require incentives Staff indicated that their name be highlighted in reviews. TV operation requires trials Bathroom lacked toothpaste and brush, shaving things etc. slippers were provided but it was told that they are used ones.
Not as expected from ITC.
Breakfast was not up to the mark.
From the minute you arrive you are made to feel welcome. The rooms are well equipped, bed was very comfortable and a super king , the gardens around the hotel well tended Nice hotel
Awesome!!
The stay was comfortable and especially the whole staff was very courteous. The food quality is too good and with wide variety. Overall it was a Wholesome Experience for us!!
Enjoyed the property. Very clean and the staff was friendly
- excellent food - Helpful staff
Room service was superb; good variety and timely delivery.
Very nice and comfortable stay, Breakfast was very good.
I like the area of the property, spread across hugely and well maintained green areas are always delightful to see. Staff was quick to response. Special mention of Mr Neelesh(reception) who dealt us very nicely. The missing link were that the visitors should be provided with the information that badminton court, soccer field is available and accesories are available from Gym area. Since we never heard so we never asked but they have the facility for badminton area and soccer field and a huge area for running so one can never miss his workout schedules. Both the pools were under maintenance so we couldn't enjoy the pool facility. Advice is that management should find the night time to complete all the maintenance of pool so that visitors can enjoy thier morning time in pool. Rest all went well and I will be glad to visit them again.
I was in awe of the campus. One could stay here for a long long time. It has a lavish campus, park, walking, and a super-sized swimming pool, compared to what you generally find at other hotels. The flowers in the spring season all over the campus were extrememly enchanting.
Excellent hotel with great staff.
The room was very disappointing. Very steeply priced and hence no value for money. Very ill kept property with very small focus on customer comfort. Not expected from ITC!!
Good rooms and amenties
Staff
Had a good experience
Everything was good so far just property little old over all was pretty good
Beautiful rooms- the Royal Suite is quite spectacular!
The property is spread across a huge area and the best part it is filled with greenery all around. It feels really great to take a round of the large area in the morning and just spend time in the greens away from the city chaos.
kind service~
Run down property will most facilities closed. Food was average and desserts were disappointing. Staff is excellent. They are always eager to go an extra mile to please. Yesterday we were served by Saurabh. He went out of his way.
ITC Mughal, A Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Agra | Hotel in Agra | Travala.com
ITC Mughal exceeded our expectations! My wife and I were here for a quick getaway, and everything about this hotel was memorable. Definitely a luxury experience, and we highly recommend trying the different dining options and spa services
