Amazing location with affordable price

Situated in a strategic location in Fatih, next to Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace and Blue Mosque. Walking distance to Spice Bazaar which was good for morning stroll. Hotel staffs are all nice, friendly & welcoming. Hotel serves Traditional Turkish Breakfast each morning. Room is aesthetically pleasing, but the windows and walls are not sound proof so you could hear vehicle passing by or people talking or walking pass. Hotel provides tours, pay by cash only either in TL or €. I recommend taking the airport transfer (provided by the hotel at a price), as public transport in Istanbul is often very pack.

The staff was amazing. I love the hotel and the area surrounding it. Not sure why my bed broke as soon as i sat on it, but they upgraded my room to a better one with a balcony facing the sea which is pretty cool!

This hotel is super loud and not great. Person outside our room at 1am organizing towels in loud crinkly bags. Thats how thin the walls and doors are I am aware that Istanbul is loud but this was like as loud as a cardboard box. The room was miniature with no bathroom fan. Super hot in November and the aircon did not work. Only blew hot air even when on regular fan setting or on aircon setting. This area is super expensive restaurants all scamming tourists. Find another area, trust me. Least favorite part of istanbul. 220Lira for a beer everywhere in this area. Go anywhere else and its 100Lira. Trust me. Free breakfast was so so. Not really worth it here. Everytime you walk past any of the restaurants near the hotel they hastle you to come in. Nowhere else in istanbul does this really.

Expensive for what it is

Nice hotel but lacks in maintenance especially in the bathroom and no city view from deluxe double room as mentioned; expensive for what it is. Correct breakfast without more, average service.

Booked a room large window per the picture. Checked in and found out it’s a basement room without window. Photos are not represent the actual aged status of the property.

excellent guest relations. all of the front desk personnel's are very professional and helpful 10. even they arranged airport pick-up and dropp off as well. only complaint no exhaust system in the bathroom

Have to say we were very happy staying at this hotel. Staff went over and above especially Sebastian and Burak. In a great location, close walk to restaurants plus all the big tourist attractions. Sebastian helped us enormously by lending us his Metro card also. Just a joy to stay at

Ishak Pasa Palace

This hotel is in an excellent location, with Sophia Hagia etc within 5 min walk. Staff are friendly, great breakfasts, comfortable room with safe. The name is a reference to the area, it's not a palace in that sense, but is a nice modern hotel.

Great location, good hotel.

We stayed one night. It was very clean and the receptionist (Sebastian) was brilliant - very warm and welcoming! The shower was powerful and our room (room 6) was quiet. I have not given full marks for a couple of reasons: 1. Breakfast was very good but when we arrived, some items were finished already and we were told we needed to arrive earlier for these. I would expect things to be refilled during breakfast. 2. Room 6 bathroom door did not close without significant force. It needs some maintenance. I would consider staying again though.

I stayed at the hotel for 12 days, the service is faultless *** the staff especially Mehmet was very polite and helpful. Great stay and close to Hagiasophia mosque.

This is by far one of the best hotels I have been to in Istanbul. Esrafel the concierge is very friendly and helpful. He goes out of his way to make everything convenient and easy for his customers. He even offered me his own metro card! His English is very good. Other staff members are very friendly too! Definitely recommend this place!!

Great stay. Rooms were modern and interiors was clean and fresh. Not many options at breakfast. Very simple. Walls are quiet thin. Could hear cars outside and people moving around upstairs but other than that great hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location too and near lots of restaurants.

I loved our stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly, manager was nice. Breakfast was brilliant and versatile, the chef cooked something different everyday. I really enjoyed the carrot salad recipe! Will be asking for it so I can make it at home. Rooms were daily cleaned, toiletries replenished. Hotel was quiet, clean and modern. Loved the bathroom. I would recommend the manager to have a better airport transfer service. The driver on the way back charged us more than necessary, the pickup they was arranged wasn’t there when we had landed. Another thing I would say is to train the coloured lady who cleaned the rooms better. I did not know her name but she didn’t clean diligently like the other local lady did. Wasn’t very friendly either. Me and my sister didn’t think it fair to report about her. We didn’t mind doing our own cleaning but some might not like that. Our room was in the basement (room 1), it was very spacious and lovely. But for those who want a quieter room, maybe book one on the top floors as we could hear the traffic going past, not a issue for us but maybe for others. This hotel definitely should be a 5 star, it has better service than the Radisson, Hilton and the Seven Hills (latter’s staff are not approachable).

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in, prime location, ultra clean, beautiful property and great breakfast. Staff made the experience above and beyond, wouldn’t recommend any other place to stay at in Istanbul!

It was my first time staying in Istanbul, the location was central to all main visiting sites. The staff were amazing and always willing to help out. The hotel was always clean and breakfast in very lovely.

Great experience at Ishak Pasa Hotel

Great location: right in historic downtown, half block from the shopping and best restaurants. Room was very clean. We were helped with carrying luggage. Best places to eat and shop were also recommended to me and my daughter. Next morning very friendly hotel staff woke us up with caps of Turkish coffee and cookies, than assisted us with transfer to airport. We will gladly stay at Ishak Pasa Hotel - Special Class again!

What a find!

Beautiful hotel - lovely tasteful decor , quite well furnished rooms. Location is excellent right up against the palace walls , a few minutes walk from Aya Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Breakfast was served in a gorgeous tiled courtyard and was delicious and plentiful. Lovely friendly helpful staff.

War nur 2 Stunden da. So schmutzig . Zimmer im Keller ohne Fenster. Bin sehr viel auf der Welt unterwegs, jedoch so ein schmutziges Hotel brauche ich nicht. Habe mich gekümmert und mir selbst eine Unterkunft besorgt. Dieses Hotel ist schrecklich.

Nuestra estadía, fue muy agradable, desde que llegamos el muchacho en recepción fue muy atento y amable, todos fueron amables y atendieron a todas nuestras solicitudes. La habitación era cómoda, la cama y las almohadas y y con todo lo necesario. Excelente ubicación, muy cerca de restaurantes y de muchos lugares principales.

スタッフの皆さんがみんな親切でした。バスタブはない部屋でした。 道路に面する半地下のお部屋だったので少し車の音が聞こえましたが、光がなかったのでよく眠れました。

Das Personal war mega nett und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel an sich war sehr sauber. Das Bad und die Toilette waren besonders sauber! Für den Preis finde ich dieses Hotel sehr empfehlenswert. Einzige Nachteil was ich wahrgenommen habe, war der Geräuschpegel. Es fahren relativ viele Autos und Busse durch, welches man hört als gäbe es keine Fenster. Genauso hört man alles was außerhalb der Tür geschieht. Außerhalb dessen verdient dieses Hotel alle vollen Sterne von mir. Bei meiner nächsten Anreise werde ich dieses Hotel definitiv wieder buchen.

Sebastian me recibió muy cálido, muy servicial y atento, me explicó de forma más fácil cómo llegar a pie a los lugares turísticos, todos se portaron muy amables.

Prachtige locatie, gezellige sfeer, heel vriendelijk personeel.

Situada en zona muy centrica, personal amable, lindas instalaciones. Falta aislacion de corredor en habitaciones y una mesita escritorio vendria bien en la pieza.

The hotel is located on a one way street. It can get very noisy at times and the windows aren’t sound proof. Breakfast is decent and the personnel is nice and helpful.

La chambre donne sur une porte coupe feu qui ne ferme pas et laisse passer le bruit de travaux juste derrière : le bruit était insupportable et durait jusqu à 11h du soir.le personnel n a trouvé aucune solution. A fuir si vous ne voulez pas que votre voyage soit gâché.

Very good Hotel in the middle of centrum

The location is Amazing, you are in the centrum!!! The Hotel is very cute actually and very clean. The Hotel employees are very nice and very helpfulness, also they can give you good advice where the best thing are!!! I can just recommend it.

Super Lage, sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal und ein sehr modernes - frisch saniertes Hotel. Etwas dunkle Zimmer zum Innenhof, allerdings wenig störend, wenn man den ganzen Tag unterwegs ist. Das Frühstück war gut und nicht hervorragend, weil es eine relativ übersichtliche Auswahl gab und hier Verbesserungspotential besteht. Wir würden sehr gerne dieses Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen wollen.

Erg vriendelijk personeel en zeer schone hotel. Enige minpunt is de ventilatie op de bodemkamers. De airco doet het niet dus het is er erg benauwd. Dus als je naar de toilet gaat ruik je dat de komende uur heel erg.

Hotel en personeel waren top. Locatie geweldig. We hebben alleen niet de upgrade kamer gekregen waar we van te voren voor hebben betaald omdat er geen andere kamer vrij was? Ontbijt was erg mager, het ei was steeds op, koffie absoluut niet te drinken.

Aufgrund fehlender Reisrrücktrittsversicherung wurde mir der volle Preis berechnet. Schade hätte mir etwas mehr Verständnis meiner Situation, Fuß gebrochen, gewünscht. Wenn Istanbul auf dem nächsten Reiseplan steht, dann bestimmt nicht in diesem Hotel.

This is a lovely, tiny little hotel with a lot of flair in the very heart of Istanbul`s touristic center (5 min only to the Hagia Sophia!). The rooms are small, but entirely new decorated, very welcoming, perfectly (!) clean and with a really good bed. The personal is incredibly kind and always willing to help and recommend on how to spend the time in Istanbul best. They serve a wonderful Turkish breakfast which is a bit different from the "plain vanilla" breakfast in other hotels. The Ishak Pasa Hotel had a really good balance between price and what you get for it. If I come back to Istanbul, I will stay again!

Great hotel in the Sultanahmet area

Great stay in a newly renovated and extremely clean hotel.

Staff eccellente, empatico, sempre presente e pronto a soddisfare tutte le richieste. Struttura straordinariamente comoda alle principali attrazioni di Sultanhamet, con il plus della corte interna dove è possibile estraniarsi, per qualche ora, dal traffico stordente di Istanbul. Non tutte le camere sono perfettamente silenziose, ma si tratta di una piccola problematica che, visto il contesto e la disponibilità del personale, è assolutamente tollerabile. Consigliato, senza riserve!
