Room was great and hotel was in a great location. However reception staff didn’t speak English at all.

This hotel has a very grand lobby and the staff attending are very friendly. Our room was spacious and clean. Couple downsides are that the walls are a little thin. There was a family up at 4am and they were speaking very loudly and their children were running up and down the halls being very loud. Also, the hotel does not have air conditioning, but they did bring a fan for us when we requested it. The weather in Da Lat at night time was cool enough at night that it wasn't too bad. The hotel is walkable to many restaurants.

Very nice 3 stars hotel. Staff is friendly and attentive. Room is clean. Bed linen and bath towels are not like new but ok.

People were constantly smoking in the hallway and smoke can easily come into your room from under the door.

Splendid hotel stay in Dalat

Second stay for us. Hotel consistant with super friendly and professional staff. Good value for the splendid service and well presented hotel. Breakfast buffet superb, and different dishes each day great On our last day, we had to leave very early, the hotel offered a packed breakfast takeaway, it was splended and appreciated. Good value for money hotel

Good value money hotel, situated in a quiet street that you have to walk a little way to acces, which suited us. The restaurant was for breakfast only and after the first day resorted away from a buffet to being served. This gave limited choice, which was probsbly due to the number of people staying. Quality was good

Nice hotel with parking

Clean and nice hotel. Not too far from the night market. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was plain but decent. They have dedicated parking for a car if you drive, so you don't have to park on the street. I found the staff to be hospitable, though I really hate how Vietnamese hotels keep your passport until you check out.

Family trip 16Dec to 23Dec

Room was large, clean and comfortable. Hotel was conveniently located near the night market and various eateries and restaurants. Only drawback was that it can get rather noisy in the night and early morning due to the arrival and departure of tour buses bringing loads of visitors during the busy travel season. Otherwise, stay was enjoyable.

I love the hotel and the hotel staff. Everyone is kind and courteous. I stay in this hotel everytime I visit Dalat. It’s at a great location where it has street vendors. It is also located near the Dalat market and right at the heart of Dalat. The place offers excellent food and services at a reasonable price. I would recommend this place to those who plan to visit Dalat.

Enjoyable stay at Iris Da Lat

We enjoyed our stay at the Iris Da Lat Hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s a short walk to the town centre and market. Breakfast was very good.

Vgood hotel, friendly staff and great breakfast

We enjoyed our stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s in an area where there are many hotels but it’s a fair walk to restaurants and shops. The breakfast was excellent, one of the best so far in Vietnam. The only downside is that the sound proofing isn’t great and we had discourteous loud Chinese neighbours in the room next door - not the hotel’s fault but it made it hard to sleep.

The hotel is stuck in a back street area of Dalat but was clean and only a 10 minute walk to the city centre. We were disappointed in the quality of the breakfast that was served and the restaurant was open in the evening for dinner so we had to go down town each night, We were also disappointed that the reception staff had limited English and it was difficult to make them understand what we were saying at times. One pleasing feature was the driver they arranged to pick us up and drop us off at the airport. He was terrific and took us on a sightseeing trip around Dalat for a very reasonable price.

Nice hotel enough

Hotel was nice enough with spacious room, just the location probably wasn't the best as it was bit of a roundabout route to get to.

The hotel is amazing. exactly what I thought. Rooms are large and clean. And a very nice balcony. The hotel staff is very nice. The hotel is a 5-minute walk to the market.

New hotel in a central location

The Iris Da Lat Hotel is a reasonably new hotel within walking distance (10 mins) from the Lake. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. My room was very large and the shower pressure itself is worth the stay!! The downsides - the other guests on my floor were incredibly loud, and were yelling and slamming doors until 2am. Then they started banging on doors, ringing doorbells and yelling at 6.30am. Not the hotels fault at all, but for an annoying couple of nights!

We stayed at level 5, great balcony with view of the whole town. Cozy, cool and quiet. The distance to town centre and market is just perfect --- about 10 mins walk. It would be noisy if it is too near to the market.

IRUS IS A VALUE

Da Lat is a wonderful place. The Irus is a newer proprty so all is good. Staff is warm and helpful. It is not as close to beautiful lake in town center as I would have liked. But no problem with hotel and price.

I stayed 3 nights at Iris Dalat. Overall it was OK. The room is basic, but clean. Location is Ok, about 10 mins walking to center city dalat. They are a bit stingy on toiletries, I had to ask for a new shampoo and shower gel every night.

Friendly and helpful staff

I was assigned to a room with no view on the first floor just right up the hotel restaurant. It's also the last room near the rear staircase, so I was waken up early every morning by the sound of moving chairs/utilities when the restaurant's preparing to open. It was really disturbance to a guest.

Though it is up on a small hill, it is noisy the whole night. I have to close all the windows in a room without air-conditioning.

Unlike some SE Asian hotels, the rooms in these hotels are fairly spacious. Add to that new construction and a decent location to the city center and you have a nice hotel to stay at while in Dalat. The lobby is large and open, the staff is attentive and the location is good for walking around and easy to locate. Enjoyed the stay.

Hotel is clean with good service. Room spacious for the given prices. Service with locals and western BF. Less than 10 minutes walk to beautiful lake side and a number of cafes nearby for relaxing at afternoon. Hotel staff assist to arrange airport bus pickup at door steps.

It is ok hotel

We stayed there for my brother's wedding. The room did not come with iron so we call down there to ask for it. We were told that they have the laundry service but they do not have iron or ironing board. We travelled there from oversea so we will need to iron most of our clothes. They didnt replenish the shampoo or conditioner or shower gel. You have to open the window to get cool air but it is too noisy with dogs barking all night.

A good hotel for 1 night but not more

This hotel is ok by any standards but it's applying for locals. If you stay 1 night it's a good location and good overall we did 3 night it was too much no ax in the room

Nice but noisy

All good but whilst this hotel is new the noise travels easily, hence other guests made it our noisest stay in many years. People slamming doors after midnight and again at 6am. If you speak English An on reception is the only person to help you with taxis and tours etc. Bfast was good.

Well, great services manner from receptionist and housekeeper. Good location to explore walking area of down town of Dalat. Great food corner and restaurants near by. I strong recommend the visitor to go for lunch at Hoadao Vietnamese cuisine restaurant at Nam Ky Khoi Nghia str. by walk along street on the left side of hotel. If you prefer to enjoy selective choices of Vietnamese bagguets and other cakes, just go straight to the conjunction of Nam Ky Khoi Nghia and 3-2 street and take a turn to the left, you will find the Lien Hoa bakery, the best shop in town.

Clean & beautiful hotel

The hotel exterior look nice & well maintained. The lobby being nicely decorated and comfortable if you would like to just sit there for some quiet moment. The room is rather simple, spacious, bathroom is clean and neat. Breakfast is decent. It's a little distance from the town centre, walkable approx. 15 mins, not a scenic walk but with the weather in Da Lat, we did not mind at all. Alternatively if you prefer to cab to town, there are always taxi waiting for customers near the hotel.

Good stay

Don't expect early check in, it's not possible. I even tried to negotiate to upgrade and was willing to pay more but the deal the receptionist gave me was ridiculous so i had very bad impression from the first day. Also you have to pay for the map, itz cheap but i never had to pay for a map to a hotel before in my life so it was kinda funny Here comes the good part. Like others have said the hotel is new and in good condition. The location is not too far and is not too loud so it was good. Breakfast was great, different each day with varieties to choose from. The only downside is the staffs, they are not so friendly and helpful except for the bell boy. But for the price and the condition of the hotel i think it was a good deal.

Value for money elegant small hotel

The lobby is elegant. The room is spacious. The hotel is located at the end of a street so you takes 15 minutes walk to market roundabout. If you have more than one person, the taxi fare is rather cheap. From our experience, all taxis use meter. The breakfast was out-of-expectation good.

Night market in central square.

New hotel. Clean. Friendly service. Breakfast 3/5. 10 minute walk from central market. Few restaurants around and not easy to find food during the day. However the night market in the central square is fabulous. Many vendors selling food cooked to order. Very cheap. Try the rice paper pancakes stuffed and rolled hot. Not much in city but spectacular scenery outside of town.

Traveling from North to South Vietnam, & so far the best hotel we've stayed in (for 3 nights) at the $40 range. Everything about this hotel was great. It's new and feels like a 4 star. Service is professional, front desk staff quick and responsive. Breakfast buffet was good. Rooms were large, clean and shower amazing. Location is very central w lots of restaurants and shopping in area. We rented a scooter from another hotel down the block for $90/day. Best way to get around as there's so much to see. Go to the Super C market, try the cold coconuts, bakery and virtual 3D video game upstairs. Have fun!

Great new property in DaLat.

Brand new hotel in DaLat and everything is in great condition. The lobby could be in most 5 Star hotels. My room was huge with a separate living room area - couch and coffee table. Very comfortable bed with good linens. No AC, but not necessary here since it is quite cool at night - slept with the window open and it was fine. About a 5-10 minute walk to the main square with plenty of dining and shopping options. The hotel put together a nice list of good restaurants nearby - try Deli BBQ for a true Vietnamese BBQ experience. The desk staff spoke pretty good English and were able to make good suggestions and arrange transport. Breakfast was decent with a selection of mostly Asian foods, although you could get eggs freshly cooked. Coffee needs improvement.

A great but little known yet hotel

This hotel is a hidden gem in the hotels.com listing for the Dalat area. Compared to the other 3-star hotel I stayed before moving here, this is more like a 5-star hotel but for the area which is kind of boring. During my stay, I found out that the hotel was opened a month prior and that explained its top notch cleanliness. One thing I particularly like was that the hotel was designed with the modern technology in mind with lots of plug ins near the bed and the fast wifi.I stayed during the New Year so I don't know how it is in the Summer because it doesn't seem to has air conditioning which is not very popular with hotels in this city.

Lovely stay

I really enjoyed my stay. Quiet, clean and Cozy. Staff were great, friendly and helpful. Only downside was the numerous tour buses picking up early in the morning from nearby hotels. The horns were loud. Dalat is a lovely place to relax.

Staying at the Iris was interesting. The hotel is new, staff very pleasant, clean and positioned well for the town. However, if you need sleep, don't stay there. The walls are thin, the hotel and town is very noisy and full of Chinese running around like children, parents don't control children. Breakfast will be taken fast to escape the noise. Coaches have great delight in using horns throughout the night outside the hotel.

Modern Hotel in the City Centre

Located in the downtown but on a quite road, away from the honking and hustle and bustle. The rooms are a moderate size and still have that new hotel smell and a comfortable bed. The breakfast staff could use some lessons in courtesy as the 3 days that we were there the staff was huddled together discussing their evening. I think if they spent less time chatting and more time looking after the food it might have at least been warm. That being said the staff at the front counter were more then helpful and were able to speak and understand English. We had moved from another hotel in the hopes that this was better and were not disappointed, except for breakfast. This was good value for the money.

The hotel is new- finished it just a few months ago. Rooms are large and spacious. They forgot to clean the room but when we got back to the hotel in the evening and complained about the situation, they cleaned the room within 15 minutes. The staf did not know much English. The hotel's excellent location, about 5 min walk from the center (downhill and repeat it).

너무 달랏 꼭대기에 외각입니다. 야시장에 호텔많으니 그쪽을 추천해드려요 아마 밤길 혼자올라오신다면 무서울것입니다. 그리고 호텔에서 바퀴벌레를 봤고 너무 침대 및 이불이 눅눅하고 습해요.. 꿈꿈해서 지내는내내 신경썼네요 대신 방은 무척 넓습니다. 조식은 그냥그래요..

OK hotel. Wel heel gehorig. Lawaai van andere gasten op de gang en van de verbouwing buiten. Fijne lobby, geen bar helaas
