It’s perfect for my quite place

Staff was very helpful and friendly was a quiet place needed a few up dates

Everything was brand new, but, common areas, hallways, stairs and also the elevator, everything was really dirt. I saw a guy make piss outside of his room in the first floor, that was really nasty. The lady in the front desk Kendra, was really kind and gentle.

This property was dirty and was not staffed with people who would be available to assist a customer. We had trouble getting checked in because they have one elevator and it is small. We had to make several trips. Check out was worse. The key card stopped working at 10:30. So we had to track someone down to let us get all of our belongings out of the room. We brought down one load and we could not get back in to get the rest. When we asked what happened they told us it just how it works. There was also broken glass in the hall. Cleaning people just walked past it several times.

the hotel was overbooked i never saw a room, and they didnt do anything to assist me in finding another place to stay, just said "can't help you"

This place was disgusting. There was literal feces and blood that was in a main walkway on the property that was cleaned up for the majority of my entire two week stay there. I could hear drug deals being done in all of the rooms around me. Cops were called to the property on a daily basis. The WiFi was surprisingly fast.

Very rude and very judgement

The staff was very rude and inappropriate to my boyfriend and myself. Then told him he couldn’t stay there because he got really upset after comments were made about his appearance.

As upon arrival our hotel was canceled, we didn’t check in. We was told that they only do weekly and we can’t have a room for just 1 night, so if our card was charged I ask to be refunded

The room had no towels, or tissue. The hanging rack in the bathroom was leaning against the toilet. The linen on the bed smelled of smoke and looked dirty. The floor had an indentation as you walked to the bathroom. There was writing in the bedroom mirror, so I had to use the mirror in the bathroom. Someone came in the parking lot about 3:20am, with music blasting for 30 minutes. Front desk clerks have their personal visitors in the office during guest check-in. I now understand why the price is so cheap. Poor quality hotel.

Lots of illegal activity at this site. Did not feel daft.

The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The building was dirty and trash was everywhere. The rooms were not clean. There were cockroaches and red juice spilled on floor in front of fridge and not cleaned. The remotes did not work and the carpet was very dirty. The bed was comfortable and very clean.

There was noone at the desk when trying to check in at 10 pm. Super tired and had to go through the trouble of cancelling my reservation and had to make a new one somewhere else. Office closes at 7 pm. WTH? What kind of business is this? SMH :(

They did NOT have any open rooms, and were no help in finding anywhere else that might have one. Just told me where other motels were located.

They overvooked me. Then wanted to chatge me extra for a different room When checkimg in the 1st room the sent me to was dirty. Once i did get a room the tv would not work there were not pillow cases on the pillows. While watch the tv after there come up there were roaches on the walls. I did not realize that to check out i could just leave the key in the room .i waited until 3 pm when someone showed up to return the key and let them lnow the tv would not turn off

I will never book this hotel again. Expedia should take this hotel out of it’s search process.

Whole place smelled like weed, didn’t get checked in until 9pm sent me to 3 rooms that were occupied by other guests spills all over surfaces that hadn’t been cleaned, half used roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, stains all in the bed and on the mattress, only a thin sheet in and a dirty comforter on the bed, no mattress cover. Didn’t even sleep in the room because it was so dirty. Slept in my car

Made reservation on Expedia, tried to check in hotel. Front desk stated there was no reservations for me. I showed my itinerary, & still no reservations. Front desk stated by there being no up front payment, the room is not garunteed. I stated i reserved it via credit card. It was still not honered. I had to pay $6200 via $49.00 on a first come first serve basis.

I reserved my room online and when I got there, they told me they didn’t have any rooms available. I waited in line for like an hour before they told me this. Very bad experience

they did not have room available. and told me i could go on expedia and order another room cause they only had double bed left and i couldn’t have it cause it was different price. so if i wanted another room i had 8 minutes before they closed to order new room, yet there motle wasn’t listed with any rooms , had to go door to door to find room somewhere else.

Oh Please Please don't stay here, I know its dirt cheap but then what you save on the room you will end up paying with a health issue considering the filthy room you have to sleep in, so please spend 10/20 dollars more but stay away from this place.

I love the variety of restaurants that are near by.

I read the reviews so knew to bring my own bath towels and cleaning supplies. The carpets and upolstery needed cleaning. The staff were nice and the maid was very apologetic as she explained that she could not give us a roll of toilet paper when we ran out because it was against company policy. She was, of course, not cleaning our room; this was not included. The bed was uncomfortable. It was very cheap and you get what you pay for. It made it possible for us to visit family for a week so we put up with it.

This hotel is NOTHING like the pictures. It is nasty and horrible

After confirming I had a room for the night 3 different times, I show up to check in after a 3 hour drive and the office is closed. The “After Office Hours” security guard says I do not have a key for you and no one is here to let you check in. Sorry, This happens all the time! Seriously? This happens all the time!

My Experience There

The carpet was filthy and we found couple of roaches in the bathroom. They didn’t even have big towels. They only had small towels and I had to go to the office to get big towels. When they were changing their shift, they had office door Locked and I had to wait outside for 30 minutes after I made the reservation on hotel.com.

Really Friendly Staff but Room Needs Some TLC

The hotel staff were very helpful and worked hard. For that alone I'm willing to rate InTown Suites highly. Often you get staff that clearly hates their job and doesn't want to help guest, but that's not the case here. The room had a lot of cosmetic flaws, like the counter top chipping and the drawers in the night stand were broken, but it was clean. I would much rather stay at an affordable place with friendly helpful staff that is clean and have cosmetic defects than an aesthetically pleasing place with rude staff. The kitchenette was also helpful. When I need to go to Hattiesburg again, I will stay here.

Oh man. Dont go to this place unless you need a hooker or some drugs. Not a safe environment at all! They didnt have my room reserved. They staff could care less. The first room smelled like pee. The second room had pubic hair in the sheets. The staff doesnt have acess to any clean sheets or towels. The room was not in good condition what so ever. Do NOT bring your families here! This should be rated a 1 star at the most

This place has been remodeled a few times, the last one must have been done in a hurry. Holes in everything (doors, walls, cabinets). Clean enough, but just barely. I guess this is all you get for $50

IMPORTANT TIPS!!! IF YOU DON’T READ ANYTHING ELSE, READ THIS: 1) If you book here and pay at hotel, they won’t even have a record of your reservation, so plan to get there right at the 3pm check-in or pay ahead of time. 2) Request a room on the top floor, I kid you not when I say that you can loudly hear every move someone makes, and people staying here tend to be up into all hours. You definitely get what you pay for, and it was fine (at best) for just a place to sleep for the night before continuing travel, but the building definitely needs some work. The towels are thin and cheap, barely to be considered towels. The bedding is thin. I did kill a single roach, but having lived in the south, I do understand that they can be inevitable at times. The biggest problem for me was the broken safety latch dead bold on the door. It was the last room they had so I couldn’t change rooms, but that is a major issue. The staff was very friendly though. All in all it was okay at best but it served it’s purpose.

When we drove into the parking lot there was a guy working on his truck. Then when we checked in we were told we would only get 1 set of towels and they were very small. The nice young woman suggested we go buy towels at Walmart. The room was clean, but the furniture was in poor condition with cupboards hanging open. The towels were a face towel and 2 wash cloths.

No shampoo or cups in room. Had a table but no chair. Ad said a queen size bed got a double and no extra blanket. Carpet wet in spots. Lock broke on door. No closet to hang clothes. 👎

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I don't typically write reviews but felt like I had to! Dirty mold walls, broken dresser, hard bed, DIRTY sheets, smelly room. I got there early and they did not have a room available which was fine. I came back and at the front desk gave me opportunity to check out my room first to see if I liked it but also told me it was the only room they had left. I asked for towels because my room did not have any and I had to leave because I had to go to a meeting and wouldn't be back until after hours. (yes the staff leaves at 9pm!) I got to the room and of course NO TOWELS even after the clerk stated that she would bring towels to my room. I have a non smoking room that smells like smoke. Walls have mold and bathroom door has something splattered on it. Place is filthy!!! I tend to have low standards and expectations but this place is the WORST. I could not stay the night and slept in my car. The price is not even worth it. There are cheaper better places near by. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

Don't even think about it.

This hotel is in a nicer part of Hattiesburg, but somehow manages to be a complete and utter disappointment. Trim pieces crumbling off the walls that my toddler managed to find before we did, no hot water in the shower, no towels, not even what I would call a blanket on the bed, no remote to the TV. People loitered out in the parking lot and outside their rooms at all hours, approaching us for money and asking for rides. This place is one step away from being a shelter or a slum. I had to call twice, hide my phone number, then literally beg the front desk staff to help me acquire early check-in due to our late arrival. I honestly don't see how this "hotel" is still in business. Spend the extra $20 and stay *literally* anywhere else.

Not a good over night stay.

Blood was on bathroom wall. Table was not connected to wall. One blanket and no towels. You could hear the person above us walking around.

The hotel is on the road next to Taco Bell. It is about 3/4 mile from I-59 and Hardy Street..exit..

Nice hotel, clean, cheap.

No hot water at all and NO ONE CARED

Broken doors. Broken bed. But the kicker was when we got ready for a shower... NO HOT WATER..... The whole hotels hot water wasnt working and hasnt been working for at least a day or more before we checked in, however the staff didn't even care to inform us of the problem. By the time we noticed, the office was closed, there is no front desk to inform, and the COURTESY OFFICER WAS ANYTHING BUT COURTEOUS and when told corperate had been contacted he refused to give us his name....

Say No to In Town...Stay Out of Town

First sign of a bad hotel is people lingering in the parking lot in their slippers with alcohol in their hands and cigarettes hanging out of their mouths. A-V-O-I-D.

Last time

I asked for a ground floor room and was told one would be available the next day. The room was never available. The room I stayed in was clean but smelled and had broken furniture. The staff was friendly and polite enough but did not follow through with the room request even after repeated attempts by me. They either told me it was still being cleaned, they were understaffed, or did not answer the phone. hey kept saying they would call me but never did. I stayed there once before last year and everything was fine, not so this year. I will choose a different place next year.

One night ( at 11:15 pm) hotel staff tried to get in my room. Next day she said she wanted to see if room was empty , on another night police banging on my door looking for someone they thought was registered to that room. There were other things but these two things are the reasons I won't stay there again

Don't stay here

At first check in they had us in a room we did not pay for they could not provide and towels or washclothes we wanted to stay here because it had a complete kitchen but half the stove didn't work and there were roaches. After complaining about wanting to be in the room we paid for (took multiple calls) they finally had a room available that we booked because we were told the night before they were sold out of the room we booked and prepaid for. The second room was better somewhat there were more roaches and not once was our room cleaned. I will never return to this hotel.

Very intimidating.

Extremely noisy, people yelling, banging things, arguing. Fire alarm went off & fire truck came. The next morning no elevator. This is probably a good alternative for homeless people. There was no bath towel in my room & the floor tile in the kitchen area was broken up & toilet stopper had to be manually put down each time the toilet was flushed. I must say though everyone I met in passing there was very amicable.

They gave my room away after they told me it was being cleaned and to come back in a hour. Then they had no other rooms available to give me. I would never try to stay there again.

Old and dirty property. Noise from the people staying upstairs was unbelievably loud and at all hours of the day & night, floors (my ceiling) creaked with every step (or stomp) from above - drove me crazy!!! No chair. Still no chair after 2 requests to maintenance so finally Natoya (the very nice & helpful front desk person & property manager) got 2 chairs herself and put them in the room. Cable went out for about 24 hours so no TV or internet. Overall a"not so great" experience. Natoya was the only bright spot in an otherwise dark experience. Will NOT stay here again.

It was so so, because the price was cheap. However, there was too much noise between room and room. That is why I could not sleep at night.

After checking in to a half empty hotel and getting a room on the third floor!!?? I get to my room and they have no towels, no toilet paper, no drinking cups....they are out of everything.

There are were no towels in the room, beds were supper hard, the blankets were pretty much just sheets, and I saw a roach! Never again I was scared all night!!

You Get or Don't Get What You Pay For

I reserved 2 rooms for 10 nights. Driving from CA to MS for my granny's funeral, we were told we had no reservation and had to find a room elsewhere. The next day, only one room was ready. There were roaches in the room and they only provide 2 towels for the entire 10 night stay. Pictures missing off the wall -filthy floors and chairs. We left after a day after the funeral, couldn't stand to stay in a disgusting room. Staff is only available part of the day and they couldn't do anything for us. Don't waste your time, money or energy on this dump.

It needs more lighting in the parking area. But in all it was a beautiful place to stay.

the room was not like the one they showed us. the room was musty and the room was not that clean. there are roaches in the room and the beds were mismatched. had a queen mattresses on a full frame. one of the beds had the springs coming out of the side of it. it was like a war zone every night with people stomping and yelling for hours. there is no one there in the office after 9 p.m. your on your own. we booked a queen room and got two double beds.

Fair price, fair room.

Overall, the room was fairly nice, except for the dirty shower and our beds were never made. For the price though, I can't really complain.

Smells and no storage space.

While quaint little kitchenette, the motel management was not prepared to honor Expedia reservations and pricing. The room was smoking, but had no ash trays. All the drawers and shelving was removed from ALL furniture; and without hangers, there was no place to unpack.

The hotel had roaches, it says pet friendly online and they aren't, staff refused to let me into my room after being locked out, i booked a queen size bed and got a full, and i had to take out my own trash or be charged extra. I will never be staying here again.

Unbelievable

Hotel is undergoing major renovations, including new ownership and a new name. My room was changed 3 times because of missing safety latches on the doors and an infestation of roaches. I had to purchase my own room supplies. Some of the management staff were very rude and unhelpful. They wanted to charge me more money for being moved to one of their better and already renovated rooms, which one of their daytime managers moved me to, in order to keep me from leaving. In its present state, I wouldn't recommend this place...for free!

Staff is HORRIBLE

Office did not let us check in because it was after 7PM. I told her we had until 9PM to check in and at the time it was 7:16PM. Said it was not her problem the website wasn't updated to reflect the new check in times. Horrible. She was only nice when she saw me grab the managers business card. The room smelled as if someone smoked a cigarette while making the bed. The towels were like napkins.

It was OK. Only issue is that the bathroom had a dead roach and front desk service was horrible.

Poor Customer Service

I didnt stay. I checked in on 9/3/2016 at 10 something that morning and got to the room the Floor was dirty, Bathroom was dirty, and the remote wouldn't even work for the TV, so I went to the front desk and he didn't even try to give me another room so I asked to be checked out at 11:30, just a hour later and told them to refund my card....

Nobody at office at checkin, I had call and leave a message at the number they had taped to the door. No shampoo and conditioner in bathroom , checked out 9:30 am nobody at office.

Not as advertised. Redefining "cheap".

The room was clean but there were no amenities as described on the web page. There was no coffee/tea maker in the kitchenette, no dishes or flatware in the kitchenette, no toilet paper in the bathroom, the television only got one channel and the bed was not very comfortable. The office hours were limited. So there was no one to call about getting toilet paper. Bare bones I am guessing due to the long term stay aspect in a college town. The bed was a full size, not a queen. Cheap, clean, no shortage of hot water but the ceiling and wall surrounding the tub were stained by a leak from the upper floor. There was no one in the office when we left so we couldn't share our review with the staff.

Will never make that mistake again

Staff was friendly yet I could barely hear them over the loud music playing the front office. Room was completely unacceptable. Kitchen are was dirty, refrigerator looked as if it had not been cleaned in weeks. As I went to plug my phone charger behind the nightstand I noticed an old cookie bag.

I guess that you get what you pay for ...

Need better housekeeping. Didn't feel comfortable at all bugs in room as soon as I checked in I checked out that's how uncomfortable it was didn't get a refund was just trying to give me another room
