Top 1 Hotel in Sofia. Best location in the historical district with one of the view on the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Services and team are great and customer focused. ADOR is one the best table in town. Was travelling with family ( 4 in total. 10 years and 14 years old kids)

i requested the air conditioning to be fixed. I was informed the air conditioning was switched off in November, however I could have a fan. this helped a little however the room temperature never dropped below 23 c. This along with the windows the did not open lead to a stuffy dry room. then the view from my window was a nearly derelict block of apartment / flats directly looking into my room.

We really like the location and the service stay there twice.

This "International" Hotel has nothing International about it & it's run like everything else in Bulgaria, in the past & inefficient!

This is the 5th time we are at Intercontinental and love it. The best hotel in Sofia.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was nice and spacious, making me feel right at home. The highlight was definitely the fantastic view of the cathedral from the huge balcony—absolutely breathtaking! The service was great, with staff who were attentive and friendly. The room was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. When I come back, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for comfort and great views

Fantastic hotel in the heart of the city! Great staff, rooms are so comfortable, great views of the architecture and monuments, at least from my room, fantastic breakfast and just overall a great hotel. Kudos to Intercontinental Sofia!

Doorman outside didn’t offer to assist with bags. Not enough light in bathroom. Water pressure not great on third floor. AC not producing adequate cooling even after adjusting temperature. Bar and lounge were nice.

Price was quite high comparing what they have to offer. Average IC hotel.

Room smelled like cigarettes. Had to move 2 rooms to avoid cigarette smell.

Room with the terrace is stunning! Food in both restaurants is delicious and staff is very nice!

Great location in Sofia Center near historic sites. Short walk to major sightseeing spots and restaurants. Good service by the staff. The issues we had was, the back side of the hotel was blocked by buildings. No view at all and we had to keep curtains closed at all times. The electric plug at coffee/tea station was broken, the QR code on TV screen for room service did not work, and when I ordered with menu from their website it turned out the menu was outdated. Small stuff like that. Otherwise it is a great place to stay in the hotel.

Great hotel right by Nevsky cathedral. A short walk to vitosha, next to Subway line. Perfect location. Go inside and you’re in an oasis that you’d expect for the intercontinental brand. Extremely comfortable rooms, wonderful staff. The restaurant is great too!

Good stay but overpriced

Hotel was nice enough but nowhere near worth the value they charge. The sockets in our room were damaged and I had to reattach the flush buttons for the toilet as they weren’t attached when we arrived. Rooms could also be lighter.

Don’t think twice

This hotel is an amazing place to stay in Sofia. It is a very short walk to the Nevsky Cathedral and an easy walk to everything. It is in a nice neighborhood (Foreign Embassies) and near a number of fantastic bars and restaurants. It is not in the heart of city center, but no more than 15min walk to everything you might need there. Hotel is clean, very comfortable, and has all the modern amenities you would expect of such a hotel. The staff are wonderful and the breakfast was a very nice way to start the day.

This hotel is in the best location possible - close to everything that you would like to see in Sofia. The service was excellent. Our room was facing the beautiful central square with the parliament and the equestrian statue in front of it! Although there is a casino next to it, the room was very private and quiet.

Amazing location. One of those few times where I've gotten more than what I paid for. Staff was wonderful as well.

They are under construction and parking is horrible. They charge you €30 for parking. They charge you extra for breakfast they charge you extra for room service they charge you extra for everything.

We were family. We enjoyed the hotel very much. It is in the city center, accessible to the metro. The room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was great with a wide variety of food. We had a massage and it was excellent. The service we received was above and beyond.

In a quiet safe area . Large bedroom with comfortable bed and soft pillows. Wonderful buffet breakfast and efficient helpful staff.

The locations is perfect. A walking distance from everything. The rooms are impeccably clean. The restaurant was great. The best part is the service and the stuff. AMAZING PEOPLE. Very professional and very kind. This is the second visit for us there and from now on it's the only hotel in Sofia for us. Highly recommend it.

2 MAGIC NIGHTS IN SOFIA

My son and I spent 2 days in Sofia for the concert of IL VOLO. At my old age I've seen a few fine hotels , but Intercontinental Sofia was the best .Elegant large room, king size comfortable beds, every commodity possible : kettle, coffee machine, mini-bar, huge soft pillows, bathtub and shower too, huge closet and so on, everything ! The staff was very friendly and efficient: we needed a change in the room, it was completed in a few minutes. Very well located, all sites in range of walking...In short, the best hotel ever.

The hotel is very nice and in a great location. I booked and paid extra for lounge access but the louge was closed. While they offered an alternative it was not relevant for my needs and time. (Tea from 3-5pm and drinks from 6-8 pm)
