The location of the hotel was perfect, offerring convenient and walkable distances to cafes, restaurants and shopping malls.

Very nice hotel, but no wow factor that you would expect from a 5-star

The hotel was very good. Around the city it was difficult to get around because of traffic.

The hotel was wonderful and luxe.

Econ friendly gone wrong

Nice hotel but there are 2 issues that puts me off, I know is about being eco friendly but removing toothbrushes ain’t really a smart move. Secondly, please install a bidet in the toilet since you want to be “eco friendly”

Nice hotel, nice pool and nice location !

Great location and warm and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble.

I have been to more than 70 countries. The staffs is among the best i have ever seen. I left my phone in the Taxi. Hotel staffs and management treated my crisis with a high degree of urgency and provided me with all the supports possible. Within 2 hours they were able to help me get my phone back. Thank you for the EXCELLENT SERVICES. You got a repeat customer. Son Do

Very nice hotel with a very nice staff

The hotel is amazing in a fantastic location that is walking distance to all the major attractions in HCMC. The views in the rooms are stunning. The concierge were absolutely great in organizing events and tours. Breakfast is excellent with a wide range of foods and beverages.

Pool closed for over a week, had we known this we would not have booked to stay here. The alternative provided was the pool at their residence tower which was much smaller and doubled as a daycare for loud toddlers.

Good 4* convenient hotel

The Intercontinental hotel in Saigon is good located. Staff was very helpful and service very good. The breakfast was average (bad quality of food) not in par with a high standard hotel. Room was clean.

Had a great experience at the Intercontinental Saigon. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was great, offering a lot of different options. The location was amazing, walking distance to most of the shopping malls. Would definitely stay here again next time I come back to HCM.

The hotel is nice & clean with good ambience, the breakfast spread is marvellous & great, location of the hotel is convenient & easy accessible. Will definitely check into intercontinental next visit!

Very nice but not best for price. Service was excellent but service is usually excellent at most hotel in VN. Breakfast was good but had better in VN.

I have not word to say. They allowed me to check in at 1 pm the earliest among 5 stars hotels I had stayed.

3 days with dad

The hotel is in a great location, and it has everything you'll need and more. special shout out to the Buffet team on Christmas eve, we had reservations out off site and there was an issue, walking off the elevator i made eye contact with the Chef and he walked over and asked if we were joining, gave me a tour and we decided to, the dishes were like nothing we have seen at even larger buffets, the quality and creativity of the dishes could have each stood on their own at an ala carte resturants. staff was warm, food was great, resturtant manager came over to say how happy he was we were there and you could tell he meant it. rest of hotel was nice, good chair in in room, Steam and Sauna were nice and a good place to meet people for a chat, gym was good enough and pool is getting redone. bellmen were always great.

The staff was wonderful.

All of the staff were really nice and helpful and the hotel was clean and well-maintained. Would have been a 5* review but the stay was slightly marred by some slight skulduggery over the bill. Arrived early, asked if I could check in early they said the room’s not ready but we can offer you an upgrade, lounge access etc for $70. Said ok, stayed 4 nights, checked out and they had charged us $70/night, not $70, and then charged us individually for each lounge access. To be fair, the paper i signed had it per night,, but the guy at the register said “$70”, not “$70/night” 3x, so it feels a bit sneaky.

A well keep older type property. The price is a little on the high side. Staffs are mostly pleasant, especially from the club lounge. However, many times the staff outside the door ignored me, avoid eye contact and did not offer help with a taxi until I ask.

Excellent place to stay for your trip to vn. Walkable to Ben Thanh market. Will stay again in the future trip.

Outstanding hotel and genuine staff made for a memorable stay. Looking forward to coming back.

Saigon adventure

Alot of attentive and pleasant staff around the hotel. Room service and housekeeping were prompt. Breakfast was great, love the coconut! Location excellent. Central post office, eateries, cafe and mall at the doorstep.

Do not do the dinner buffett

Hotel was fine the staff was great only issue was a buffet dinner I had. I went for something easy and had no idea it was a high end seafood buffet. It was expensive and not that great. I felt like I got scammed

Amazing customer service and consistent comfort!

We stayed at the InterContinental Saigon for a little over two weeks, and had a splendid time. The city view room was breathtaking, the daily breakfast buffet is incredibly good with an unbelievable range of options that should satisfy anyone. There always seems to be 2 to 3 staff members readily available for any question, or even if you look like you have a question. The waiters at breakfast were day after day so very pleasant and attentive. The same for the staff at the check in counter, and the attendants at the door. The fitness center and spa are amazing. Again very clean, very updated, everything works, plenty of space. We also enjoyed the spa twice during our stay and the massages were top notch after a long day of walking and traveling. Definitely would stay here again!! The bed was sooo comfortable.

Centrally located and Splendid Hotel

Comfortable and the location is excellent in District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City. Further, the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The service is remarkable and excellent. It make our stay very happy and pleasant.

The fragrance in the lobby makes you feel calm and relax. The staff, especially the waitstaff at the breakfast place, are very attentive and helpful.

Perfect

I am disappointed at the quality of the hotel. I expect more from an international 5-star hotel or least on par with others. The room is ok but it is outdated. The rod to open the curtain is old and doesn’t function properly. There is no bidet and the bathtub knob is rusty and very hard to turn off the water. I was panicking for not being able to completely stop the water. Most importantly, both my partner and I feel very discriminated by the staffs in my own country. I have been to many 5-star hotels locally and internationally but I have never felt like this. We arrived at 9am for breakfast and was assigned the table right at the entrance, I asked to change the table, they come back 10’ later saying all the tables are full, but I clearly see many tables have been cleaned for other international guests. They abandoned our table, never clean up the used plates or refill water. I have to pledge the down all the time. I am not going to come back to this particular hotel, I hope the managerswill train the staffs on being fair and not discriminate against Vietnamese who paid full price for the room and services.

Staffs are friendly, room is neat, and clean, but it does not have a notebook, and pens to write. Staffs at reception, as well as dining areas are nice, friendly, and professional. They also help to call taxi for me, and they also help to load my luggages into taxi for me. I will definitely like to return to stay at this hotel again, and will promote this hotel to my friends as well.

Like the room which was comfortable but I think the concierge and those assisting us to get taxi needs to have better command of English as they couldn’t understand our questions. For the bathroom toilet papers is way too thin I feel like I’m wasting a lot of papers otherwise hotel is comfortable

Staff could be more friendly (especially with Vietnamese nationality). Staff did not provide information regarding facilities operating hours such as pool, gym, and spa.

Not worth it

Photos are not representative of the actual property. The lobby is very small, furnishings are dated and gym is quite little. We have asked to cancel our reservation the very next day, but they refused it. Next time I won’t stay at this property and will hesitate to use this brand again.

Highly recommended

Very convenient location in District one, friendly and helpful staff. Comfiortable and spacious room with nice view. Breakfast was good and unfortunately we did not have a chance to try the other restaurants. Only Vinasun Taxi is used in the hotel and Vinasun is the most reliable brand in HCM. Room rate in HCM is lower than many other cites so worth to give it a try!

Great 5 star hotel in HCMC. Friendly staff and nice facilities. You can relax As if you are at home after discovering wonderful city.

Friendly services

Excellent service including front desk and transportation. We are allowed to enter the room earlier than the expected time. A great variety of food in the brrakfast buffet is provided. The room temperature is very good.

Best hotel in Saigon.

So glad we chose to stay at Intercontinental Saigon. All the staffs are really helpful especially the concierge. We are escorted to the lift every time we returned to the hotel at the end of the day. Location is perfect, within walking distance to everything. Will definitely stay here again when we return.

Luxury stay in centre of Ho Chi Min

Not a cheap place to stay but 5 star luxury at its best. Cant really fault anything..

Outstanding hotel

Amazing hotel, nothing is too much for them. Outstanding buffet breakfast and free upgrade to a deluxe club room made my stay! Would stay again in a heartbeat! Customer service was out of this world

This hotel is walkable to most of the key attractions in Ho Chi Minh city. Given the convenience, I would stay here for my next visit to this city.

Staff, services, food, room, all of those are so comfortable.

The whole vacation during my stay here is perfect . The only thing I would like to mention here is Expedia website , when I made my booking , your website is down and resulting the confirmation of my booking came one week later after the payment was effect . The sad thing is I book a one bedded basis became a two single bedded. So Expedia , hopefully next time when the consumer book through your engine , please don’t change the customer booking , thank you !

Great hotel

The hotel is really nice. Its bed is super comfortable, a far cry from the bed in the airbnb place we stayed in on our first 2 nights in Ho Chi Minh. The facilities are excellent especially the gym. Its location is very convenient and there are so many good restaurants nearby. I will definitely book this hotel again on my next visit.

Weekend in HCMC...

Central location, great for sightseeing and amenities. Hotel staff were strong to contact us pre visit for airport transfer and additional bed confirmations. Also very helpful and friendly during our stay. Great room service food. Pool and gym. Comfortable beds and clean spacious room. Very happy, we would stay again.

Enjoyable stay

Great breakfast and have lot variety and taste nice. Room is well maintained and clean. Downside of the hotel is the swimming pool which is a bit old and small.

Here I am going to lay this review wholly at the EXTREMELY POOR service of EXPEDIA!! For phones not answered to lack of follow through on changing dates. So little was done to assist and a nightmare to get through on the phone!!!! Never had this experience before with the company but this was OBNOXIOUSLY poor service.

Staff don’t speak good English. Poor understanding. Room clean service is not good. Smell. Heavy music noise from 10pm through 5am in the morning.
