a bit far from everything. But Grab was very convenient to use in Hanoi, so, it can be compromised. hotel itself is excellent. our package included daily bf & dinner. dinner buffet on the first night was incredible. set menu dinner on the second night had only 1 choice. i just imagined if someone had allergy of main course…. i loved their selection of tea, Epicurean, local tea brand. Staff were very friendly and efficient. View from the room was superb!!

If you are accustomed to western lifestyle and comfort, this is probably the best hotel in Hanoi to stay at. Friendly staff who are ready to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Would suggest to add on the breakfast option as the variety of local, Korean and western food made it highly enjoyable and a reason to wake up early each morning. Also, the hotel has its own private 24 hr fitness center, as well as access to the Landmark center gym which has equipment and machines similar to a 24 Hour Fitness. This is a very important criteria to my hotel selection as most Asia hotels are limited in the number of heavy dumbbells and weights. The Landmark center gym has a bench press rack, smith machine and plenty of weight machines that focus on pretty much all body areas. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Hanoi!

Good hotel away from city centre.

Staff and service were excellent, and other aspects were good to excellent. Distance from centre of city was a challenge in terms of unpredictable time needed.

good hotel but it is not so accommodating on my request of canceling due to client's change in schedule. I booked the hotel and next day need to change but they do not let us change. In the end our company has to let another person stay at the hotel. And the client need to book for another period for the month but i will not book here as it is not very flexible in letting us make changes.

I have been booking this hotel for my clients and colleagues. Today I made a mistake in booking as clients want to change flight day. I did book with a mistake of non refundable. But I thought as a loyal customer they can refund without cancelation fee. However, they refused. I booked on Friday and asked on Friday night. They still refuse. I think this is very unethical and with no mercy.

We got what we expected: 5 star facilities, amenities and service! The staff, all of them, were the best. One door person actually stood in the rain for 10-15 mins. trying to get us a taxi. We loved our stay. The breakfast buffet was the best we had anywhere in Vietnam!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Intercontinental Hanoi landmark hotel recently, and I must say, the experience was simply outstanding. The duty manager Le Van Tam went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. Not only did they greet us warmly upon arrival, but extended his hospitality on the daily at the club lounge. They also took the initiative to upgrade our room to a stunning junior suite when the AC malfunctioned in the other room. Their attention to detail and genuine care for guests truly set this hotel apart. From personally ensuring all our needs were met to rechecking if anything else was required, the manager's commitment to hospitality was remarkable. It's rare to encounter such a dedicated individual who elevates the entire guest experience. The upgraded room was beautifully appointed, exceeding all expectations, and made our stay even more memorable. This level of personalized service and generosity speaks volumes about the hotel's commitment to excellence. I cannot commend the manager and the staff enough for their exceptional service and genuine hospitality. Awesome place to stay

Well prepared and welcome.

Not a 5 star property. Rooms have dated furniture. Restaurant and room service food was not edible. You have to take 2 elevators to get your room. Staff was friendly and professional.

Luxurious hotel with amazing customer service.

The hotel is elegant, posh and pristine with a high attention to details. The customer service has a level of excellence difficult to match. It mostly caters to a business community and it's a little bit out of the way to the mail tourist attractions. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with state of the art amenities, buffet breakfast is extensive and the quality of the food is superior to most hotels in its category. For me the best features of this hotel are the customer service and the view from the rooms.

This is a five star--so one expects the best and Intercontinental delivers. I can't find any faults. Lobby/dining areas, spacious. Views are tremendous. Building also has ATM, 4P's pizza. Easy to get taxi's and grab drivers, etc.

The room was excellent. The staff were friendly though perhaps a little unattentive at times. When brought up to management though this was improved. Unfortunately the pool was unavailable, but overall it was a good stay and I would happily return.

We loved this property. Incredible staff and service. Beautiful rooms. If you join IHG the perks at this property were very impressive. It is somewhat far away from town, but taxis are inexpensive making this less of an issue.

A landmark standard in the making

This is 1st time staying here and was lucky to get an upgrade to a suite. It is pleasantly big, well furnished with a great view. Overall everything is good except getting down needs to take 2 lift and the one from ground floor to 62nd is a bit slow to my liking.

Wow! Guest rooms start on the 63rd floor and the view is amazing! The decor is luxurious! The food is delicious and the concierge and spa just what you want and expect from a 5plus star hotel. Highly recommend it!

Love the friendliness and hospitality of the staff. The hotel room has a lot of space and the view is amazing. The glass window between the bedroom and bathroom is incredible. Swimming pool is nice, but need to make sure the signs on the walk way are not slippery as I almost slipped.

The hotel is just as expected. Breakfast is very good and with plenty of choices for any one and any culture. Location is half hour from city center by taxi.

Nice, modern hotel with excellent service!

Super friendly staff quickly checked us in. The room was nice and being 66 floors up had a great view of the city. The traffic around the hotel was bad so we didn't try walking around the area. We ended up eating at a really good Korean BBQ place in the same building (9th floor) the staff recommended to us.

Good for seeing sunrise

We went there for our honeymoon. Though we intended to book the other InterContinental hotel in West Lake, this hotel is amazing and it's our first time living on 60+th floor! We could see the sunrise! Staffs there are super friendly and wonderful breakfast buffet!

We both enjoyed this stay at Intercontinental Landmark 72. It provides us the stunning view, smooth reception service, and the awesome breakfast buffet! In many respects, it is worthy a stay off downtown area in Hanoi and you are experiencing the vibrant growth of the city.

Look at other 5-star hotel options first

I don't think I would recommend the Landmark 72, when you have other great 5-star hotel options in Hanoi. Unless you're meetings are in the area of the hotel, it takes about 30 minutes to get into the city from the hotel. The layout of the hotel is...interesting. The hotel starts on the 62 floor, so you have to take one elevator up, walk to another elevator, then take that up to your room. I paid extra to have access to the Intercontinental Lounge, but it's a pretty mediocre lounge. It's important to note that everything has to be ordered (breakfast items, happy hour hors d'oeuvre, beer, etc.). This is fine, as long as the service is prompt and attentive. The first morning I was in the lounge (Sunday), I was the only person there (the lounge never had more than 5 people in it). I ordered the French Toast and a coffee. No one came back to see if I wanted to order anything else or needed more coffee. There wasn't even a staff member close to the table for me to flag down. I got much better service in the hotel restaurant downstairs. Second, I was staying on the 70th floor, while the lounge is on the 71st. Instead of waiting for the elevator, I decided to just take the stairs up one floor. I quickly found out that their stairwell doors are one-way, which meant I was trapped in the stairwell without good cell service. There were no signs letting guests know they're one-way. After speaking with a manager about my traumatic experience, they gave me 3 pieces of fruit..

The staff made my wife and I feel like royalty, and our honeymoon extra special. I've never slept so high up in my life, and I LOVE a good view. Best hotel ever

Lobby is on the 62nd floor, and rooms go up from there. Marvelous views on clear days.

What a Nice stay in a high building .

My wife and i had a good time though just stayed one night .It is amazing to have a meal in kind of high building with wonderful view .The staffs are friendly and the service is sweet.We definitely will come back if we visit Hanoi again.

Staff are great, very comfortable room, the executive lounge is very different from others that they provide menu to choose from, but I'll prefer self service with varieties of food and drinks displayed. As such, no need to stay in executive floor as I feel better to use their coffee shop. location is far from centre of the city

Outstanding Ha Noi Hospitality

Outstanding hospitality. Suites are spacious with all the amenities you could need. Staff are courteous and quick to respond to your needs. With the exception of the fog/smog, outstanding views. There is a little market around the corner, great for snacks/drinks for the room. Bottled water provided in the room. Not much else going on in the vicinity of the hotel, but taxis are inexpensive and readily available. No complaints, 5 stars.

Only a short business trip but all was great. All new hotel so pristine. Would be great views but weather was cloudy during my stay. Very friendly, attentive (possibly over attentive) staff. Location OK but taxis are cheap.

年末年始に5泊しました。 敷地内に飲食店が多数有り、またスーパーもあるので、食料を買うために外に出なくても良かったです。 中心地から離れている為、基本的に移動はgrabを利用しました。ホテルにツアーの送迎が来れないのが少し面倒でした。（集合場所のオペラハウスまでgrabで30分程度） とても掃除が行き届いており快適な滞在でした。
