good view, and clean and contemporary. Though english speaking of the staff is kind of bit challenging to understand.

Average Stay if you are not Fussy

The room is a bit rundown: door lock can’t be closed, dusty surfaces, cigarette smell even though it’s a non-smoking room. Poor cleanliness too: hair around the basin, and worst is the anti slip mat in the shower area (the bottom of the mat is full of mould and bacteria). Otherwise, view from the room is superb, overlooking the park and quiet.

Special thanks to restaurant supervisor Nancy, for her warm and welcoming personality, knowledge and professional attitude of the very highest standard. I hope the management recognise what an asset they have.

The restaurants did not have many vegetarian dishes or options available. Some "vegetarian" dishes were flavored with bacon! You might want to consider at least some vegetarian options from the menu--not necessarily the buffets.

Great hotel, great staff. The amenities I used were top notch. The gym and locker rooms were clean and spacious. The "cafe" in the lobby courtyard is beautifully landscaped and the breakfast buffet is well stocked, fresh and tasty. The room was large, clean and well appointed. Service at all levels was pleasant and helpful, even through language barriers (I speak only two words of Chinese). I highly recommend becoming and IHG member if you haven't already. The perks are real. Our deluxe room (1 step up from basic) was on a club floor with a nice view, large bathroom, comfy bed and pillows. I didn't wake up with neck or back ache once (rare) even after miles of daily walking. Taxi service, lobby ATM and cash exchange machines, nearby restaurants and convenience stores- it may not be the center of Chengdu, but it's a great location and very convenient. I'd 100 percent recommend this hotel and it's staff

The Ventilation system in room is bad; could smell smoking from other rooms; and the room temp set at 23C but was extremely hot and stuffy with smell of smoke the whole time

Nice hotel but we had a lot of problems with the room and the staff, who did not speak any English just had very little customer service expertise. Too bad, could be a great hotel.

overall good

Most things we like about this hotel is spacious room, comfy bed and good environment in hotel also various choices of breakfast to enjoy. Not really impressed with the service, no help from staff with the luggage and the check in took too long.

This is one hotel in China that has got it all right. I give this hotel a 5/5. Fantastic Service, Excellent breakfast, Really good room decor, Comfortable bed and Great location located right next to the Exhibition center.

Nice Hotel in Century City

A nice hotel in Century City part of Chengdu. If you have business here it is the best place to stay in the neighborhood. Hotel was well taken care of, good selection of dining options, breakfast buffet was large and well stocked with Western and Eastern Dishes. Room was comfortable and spacious, although the automatic shades were very noisy (not a big deal). If I had to go back to Chengdu and had to be in Century City area, I would definitely stay here.

recommend but service needs to improve

convenient location both to city center and the airport, hotel in good condition with spacious room and dining environment, but service needs to be improved, food were served cold without refill, cups for breakfast were all gone by 9:30 in the morning, and lack of flexibility when check out

I was here on business for 2 nights and I wish I could have stayed longer just for this hotel. Very very lovely.

Intercontinental Chengdu - Stay Review

The food and beverage qualities are disappointed, the foods are not delicious. The staffs are not friendly. As I cannot take spicy foods, and the vicinity of the hotel location is not favorable, since, the restaurants and bars are limited as well.

Great facility, good service. Concierge very helpful. Front desk girls struggle with English, in fact I had paid the hotel in advance through Expedia, and they charged me another $ 326 when I checked out, they used the voucher that I signed when I checked in. I contacted American Express and they are investigating it, I will reserve final judgment on my review.

Over the top in the wrong ways

I would not recommend this hotel and rarely complain about a hotel. The design is over the top but the hotel service and condition was terrible. Example: We pulled up late at night with loads of luggage and the Bell Hop just turned way to talk with his friends and was not interested to even welcome us, let alone help carry anything... that essentially was demonstrated over and over at the hotel. The room smelled like mold as well and the WiFi signal was very bad. The location is not in Ancient City.. it's in a separate high tech park well away from the city and anything interesting.

Business Trip

Very close to Chengdu Global Center, business trip. Great location, breakfast buffet. Please note this is not the Intercontinental located in the GLobal Center.

convenient if working at the global expo center

The hotel is not known by the tourist advisory desk at the airport, and the signage is poor when you arrive at the right address. The hotel is an excellent hotel in many dimensions, and the staff always try to help and please. Great comfort and excellent service. Not practical if you intend to visit Chengdu by walking around since it is located in the new century city aggregated around the global expo center which is in the periphery of the very large Chengdu city.

Fantastic!

Fantastic staff who were kind enough to give me an upgrade. The quality of the service and room made me wish I had all my meetings in this one location. It was a great place to come back to after a hard day's work. Intercontinental is fast becoming my favourite hotel chain.

Feels like a 5 star American Hotel

The InterContinental CENTURY CITY CHENGDU is a great hotel located in a clean and nice part of Chengdu. The rooms are perfect the beds are very comfortable. The Global Center the world's biggest building is located within a 15 minute walk and the Chengdu subway is only a 10 minute walk making it very convenient.

bit far from city center, but close to metro line 1. Breakfast is good. But they don't have a swimming pool. hotel is hard to book when there are exhibitions in chengdu.

Comfort and nice service

enjoyable

Brand new hotel with beautiful decoration, a lot constrction and detour at surrounding neighborhood. Difficult get in and out of the hotel and lots of construction noise even at midnight. The wrost was the cental aircondition only provided heat since it was later March, asked for help and the solution was to open the windows to get cooler air (as well as the construction noise). Till the construction is done in 6-12 months, avoid stay this hotel.

Great weekend in Chengdu!

Beautiful new hotel with wonderful song birds in the lobby area. Service was great but this is on the south side of town, far away from main city center or pandas. Definitely would go back again!

룸은 다소 노후된 느낌이 있었으나 체크인부터 체크아웃까지 호텔 내에서 만난 모든 직원의 서비스가 아주 좋았습니다.

本来是要定环球洲际给小朋友玩水，不小心选错了；意外的是酒店视野特别开阔，打开窗户正对公园；百叶窗坏掉酒店主动给换房，还提供水果，很贴心；退房的时候才发现也可以去环球洲际玩水，小遗憾；下次朋友来可以推荐入住；早餐的品种也很多，餐厅环境很生态，不错！

There is no room available when i checked in at 3pm. The front desk only asked me to wait for an hour, but not offering any compensation until my friend asked for drink coupons. The environment is good and comfortable in general, but there is room for improvement in terms of service

遅い時間（23時30分）のチェックイン、部屋がまだ掃除中との事で、1時間以上待たされた。 ※同行の３組も同様でした。 それ以外は、クオリティーが高いホテルですが、詰込み過ぎているのかも知れません。

失望的体验

退房时前台服務员坚持说我未付房费而事实我在订房时已全额支付，同时我也把已全额支付的信息給他们看了。不知道是酒店的系統出錯还是Hotels.com 的錯。值班經理也不懂处理。太失望了。非常差的感覺！

el mejor Hotel al lado de la feria

Había estado alojado el año pasado en el HOLIDAY INN y quería ver la diferencia con este. Aunque sale más caro su calidad impresiona. Me dieron una habitación enorme de 40 m2 y se supone que era la estándar. El baño acristalado también me gustó mucho.

Chinese modernisation

Built in newly constructed and gentrified area, properly equipped and convenient for International exchanges and conferences.

鄰近展貿中心，步行十分鐘左右便到達，展覽中心周邊周邊有很多美食。

由機場打的過來大約20分鐘，洲際的房間當然好得不用多說，酒店服務很好很貼心，頭一次客戶經理加了我的WhatsApp，我遇到問題時可以隨時找他. 還送了我一個特別版熊貓公仔！

沒有泳池，餐廳員工人手太少，地點不太近地鐵。餐飲水準不錯。

Good but breakfast needs improvement!

The overall service is great except for the breakfast. There is a lot improvement to be made on the variety and food quality (the fruit and cheese are the worst part during my 5 days of stay) of breakfast.
