I love the standard one bedroom apartment we were on level 3.we stayed in.it was very modern had all the amenities you want,so close to do shopping close to all eateries.the only thng is I didn't like was having a 50 level room as we were scared of height and our head were spinning due to being so high up.not recommend if you are scared of heights but I recommend much lower level.the receptionist accommodated us well in the end amazing
Great location and facilities. Easy to find and good service.
Great location ,the apartments was equipped with everything we needed , large comfy bed
Central and good amenities
Loved the location rooms staff pool and spa. Wonderful and will stay again great location and everything walkable with trams
Great place to stay, handy to everything.
Fantastic
Excellent hotel, friendly staff, good facilities and excellent location. Stayed on 68th floor, fantastic views. Victoria market fresh food & veg, Aldi round the corner, plus in free tram zone, great for getting around. Harbour 5mins on tram. Booked to stay again on my return from barrier Reef Xx
Great
Excellent property. Stayed on level 67. Very comfortable bed and clean with a great powerful shower. Location is 10/10 - 5 mins to QV market and central station. Great coffee shop called supersede just minutes walk away. Will make this my new Melbourne base.
Some staff are very helpful some need to learn to Smile 😁 it's free ,, makes you feel uncomfortable,, other then that great hotel location perfect,, it's my hotel I like to stay at for work 😀
Amazing apartment, reception staff were so lovely & helpful. Great facilities & cleaning of the room was such a bonus. Perfect location, couldn’t recommend enough!

Central city stay
No more than we expected. A pretty standard apartment hotel. The room had everything we needed. Like most apartments hotels all facilities are shared with tenants. The bedroom was very noisy - it sounded like we were right near a aircon vent. The pool and spa area were good. Good location. Good city view. There is no onsite parking. $35 per day (with discount) a block away.
Great value great view and easy to get to places around cbd
Lovely Sky apartment, no waiting for lifts. Supermarkets close by, eateries close by. Walking distance to Metro central, Trams close. We rode the free tram 35 to do the rounds on the loop and got on and off when we wanted to see something. Really enjoyed our stay at Image Lighthouse and Melbourne
Would return
Great apartment, had everything we needed. The pool was amazing although the tiles were slippery.
A handy location, close to shops and restaurants and public transport
Putrid smell made me ill.
The smell in the lobby and lift shaft was enough to make you vomit. Management blamed a garbage chute issue but it took 3 days to fix it. I expect a refund for at least two nights and will be exploring that further.
This was our 2nd time at the property. The apartment had great view of the city. However, the flooring and curtains are worn out and need replacement. Also, the housekeeping staff was not very helpful. My first time experience was great but this time has been the opposite.
Comfortable and clean
Great Apartment, good location, service wasn't bad
Great place to stay during your trip to Melbourne with unreal facilities.
Close to the city, grocery nearby, the pool and sauna
Apartment was nice, however bathrooms were very small and bad smells everyday in apartment and lobby
Amazing view
The view was AMAZING which is why we booked this apartment. The bed and bedding were clean and very comfortable. The bathroom although quite new was not maintained well (very dirty seals around the shower, bottom of bathroom door was warped/flood damaged). Carpet in the main room was 'crunchy' underfoot (from previous tenant soiling / not being cleaned for a long time - quite gross to walk on). There were a lot of small bugs/cockroaches found running around in the kitchen area.
The view from our room on the 68th floor was amazing. There were little things that stood out. one was no bedside lamps. The bathroom needed a little bit of maintenance/updating. A little shelf to put your toilet bag on would be good. We had to wait an hour for our room to be ready
Free to Air TV only had one channel in our room - reported to staff but wasn’t able to be fix during our stay. No clothes drying racks provided for towels / sensitive clothes in rooms. Pool is great, but floor around it is VERY slippery when wet - a non slip solution might be needed as I slipped and also witnessed multiple people slip and fall on both occasions we visited the pool, signage saying floor is slippery unfortunately doesn’t *prevent* it being a very slippery surface when wet. Great stay otherwise - loved the layout of the corner view in our two bedroom apartment :)
Nice environment and apartment is spacious
2 day getaway .
Great location with good facilities . We were able to check in early before 11am as well.
We stayed at an 3 bedroom sky apartment and I’m disappointed that the property hasn’t been maintained well. First impression was that the property was much much smaller than the pictures. Appliances and furnitures were very old and worn. Edges on the dishwasher were peeling off. The button on dryer was cracked. There were mould and grease between the tiles in the ensuite shower. Very dirty inside the laundry space and there was a layer of dust on the washer. House keeping was also sub-standard. The cleaners left empty toilet roll on the holder and didn’t replace with new toilet roll. They did replace fresh towels, made the bed and emptied the rubbish and that was all. Location and the view from sky apartment were amazing. Reception staff was very friendly. Overall, the stay was very average and would not be booking this place again.
Could have been cleaner and room serviced earlier
Friendly staff. Clean, quiet, spacious room with amazing views across the city from the 65th floor. Lovely pool, large spa, hot steam room, gym with a view. The sauna wasn't hot and some of the tiles were loose underfoot.
Great place to stay
Everything is good except for the terribly soft, collapsing mattress and pillows.
Staff were not pleasant, gym was out of order the whole stay (yet not acknowledged at check-in), bathroom and shower need a good clean, did not look how the photos represented it to look, seems to be predominantly used as apartments as opposed to a hotel.
The view was beyond amazing
Great service fantastic views and friendly customer service will be back
Very average. First room they placed me in had no working AC and dodgy yellow stains on the carpet. Alternative room was much nicer. Room mostly quiet aside from loadly banging spring doors closing at all hours. Wasn't notified that the fitness centre was unavailable at time of booking, and this along with the sauna was a key booking decision for me. Not really impressed.
Great place to stay! Pool was amazing and the rooms were spacious, clean and had fantastic views. Staff were friendly and efficient and the check in and out process was very easy. Overall, extremely happy with everything and we will definitely be back!
I definitely want to return to the Imagine Lighthouse again for its friendly and knowledgeable front desk personnel, and its convenient location
People in the room next door playing music loudly 3 nights in a row between midnight-6am, made it hard to stay asleep, but that’s not the accommodation’s fault. Someone came by on the third night and told them to turn it down, which they did. Other than that, incredible stay. View was beyond amazing from the 69th floor. Definitely would love to stay again sometime, and will recommend it to others.
Poor design of cupboards
Lots of cupboards – but no accessible shelves in most storage space. We ended up with clothes scattered across the floor. A number of potentially useful spaces were too high for the average guest; and the microwave (located well above the sink) was potentially very dangerous
The unit was good apart from the lack of storage in the bedroom. There were no drawers or shelves to place items of clothing in which meant that our suitcases had to store our clothing opened on the lounge room floor. Thankfully we were only staying for three nights as this was not annoying.
Easy convenient location. Clean apartment with skyhigh views of Elizabeth St.
Amazing hotel with amazing staff
Stay was amazing! I stayed in a sky apartment on floor 68, and the views were absolutely stunning. The staff at reception were extremely kind, and answered all of my questions. They gave me great recommendations on what to see, what to do, where to eat. My only qualm about staying so high up is the elevator takes a while, but that is to be expected when staying right at the top.
Very welcoming and quiet
Loved the views
Definitely be back. Great stay in an awesome city with everything you need at your fingertips.
At check in we were told to wait as our room wasn’t ready yet. The man at the desk said he’d call us back over when the room was ready but we waited an hour and a half and heard nothing from him after he watched us just sit there in the lobby. Once I went to the desk and asked for an update I find out that the room had been ready for the whole time and he just never called us over or updated us like he said he would. The room had blood stains on the couch and curtains which I cleaned off myself. The floor we were placed on smelt really bad and it continued to smell the whole time. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. The spa and pool were perfect and we enjoyed the view from our room.
The property was good quite spacious and comforting. The only two things are there was quite a few stains on our bedroom carpet one large one. And there was not enough utensils to cook food with, so we had to buy some and take it back with us. The location is perfect though and walking distance to lots of shopping and public transport. At first when you arrive it's confusing as it's also apartment living, but you have no way to get in, you have to be let in by someone.
Liked the location and availability of food.
Spectacular view
The property location was great for shopping, so close to Melbourne central and Victoria markets, within the free tram area also. I loved the pool and steam room and the Asian food options on street level. The view from the room was mind blowing. Will come back again!!
Very accommodating reception. Well appointed room. Reasonably priced.
Rooms have alot of wear and tear. The bathroom door didnt close shut, furniture has stains and toilet just ran water at odd times. Only one bedroom had airconditioning so could be an uncomfortable sleep in those rooms in the middle of summer. The staff were lovely however and you can't beat those floors to ceiling windows in the bedroom but not all apartments get them so be wary of that when booking if after one of those rooms.
We enjoyed our 3 night stay here in this mixed residential and hotel building. Our room was on the 43rd floor with some excellent views. Its central location also made it very convenient to walk to many of the places we wanted to go to. However, there were small things which made it short of getting 5 stars: - Housekeeping service could’ve been better. When we came back late in the afternoon on our second day, we had to call reception to ask when our room would be serviced. We had to use our own phone as there wasn’t one in the room. When our room was serviced the next day, they only provided one towel. We asked reception for a towel. The lady there gave this rude, taken aback reaction when we only asked for one towel. - They don’t provide slippers. - No blackout curtains in the room, only blinds. This didn’t help us as light sleepers. - Didn’t have a speaker for us to play music. - We checked out before reception’s starting time of 7am and followed their instructions on how to return the keys to the designated mailbox in the mailroom. Despite this, they still called and asked when we were checking out. I wish they had checked the mailbox first. These being said, its location and price were great and we would stay here again.
It was great i love it i would live there
Amazing place and so close to everything. Second stay here was as good.
Incredible views from a Sky room. Facilities and amenities all great. Room had a bit of general wear and rear (walls/doors). Front door needed to be pulled shut firmly to ensure it locked!
Amazing view of the city, we were so high up our ears popped. At this height it was surprisingly quiet. The steam room and pools were great.
Great view from room 6907. Quiet rooms, bathrooms are smaller but manageable.
Lovely clean and well furnished room high up on the 68th floor with sweeping views to the west and over the City. Comfy bed and large shower with excellent water pressure. A great place to stay.
Staff communications were really bad. No clear briefing and explanations over access to the hotel. Otherwise, the stay and property were fine and within expectation.
Fantastic!
Was a quick visit to Melbourne, the location was good, the reception was very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
Best hotel ,,each time I travel to Melbourne i stay at imagine lighthouse i love the steam ,sauna, spa ,pool the best
Well locatred on a high floor with a view. Easy access. Quiet
The property is in a great location & the views are amazing. The aircon filters were filthy & looked as though they had never been cleaned. A maintenance person came up to clean them but needed help to do so as he couldn't open the aircon unit to take the filters out. There was no kettle had to ask for 1. The lifts take ages, the room was noisy from wind & traffic. Wouldn't stay here again.
Really very convenience in CBD, close to Melbourne Central station. The room included washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, iron and iron board, etc. Only one thing not professional was the Receptionist told me check out time at 12 noon, but the Housekeeper used master card to come in at around 10:30 am. After that (around 11:30 am) the Receptionist knocked my door to come and ask me what time I would leave the room.
Will stay again
Very quiet considering being in such a busy part of the city. Walking distance to just about anywhere. A great place to stay.
Had a great time staying here, they even got me at an apartment on level 69. perfect location, and amazing staff in the reception.
Perfect for staying close in the CBD and did the job for what we needed!
Great location and comfortable
Receptionist was polite and helpful. The 1 bedroom apartment was a good size, clean and a comfortable bed. There are lots of places to eat within walking distance and the shopping centres are about a 5 minute walk.
The property is super convenient. Close to all kinds of food, and the Queen Victoria Market. This is a bonus. Very conveniently located along Elizabeth Street. Very safe. Apartment is decent with the full suite of amenities like cooker, microwave oven, washer and dryer. Good for longer stay. The only problem was the wifi. It so super slow and at times no network at all. Thus if you are thinking of working from the apartment, best to have your own internet instead of depending on the apartment,'s wifi. Otherwise, a good place to stay.
Good Room Bad Elevators
The room is spacious enough, you are sharing one bathroom but the kitchen and living area is nice and comfortable. Our major problem was that out of the 4 elevators in the 69 story building, only 1 was working. This meant regularly waiting 10+ minutes for an elevator ride.
We stayed in a beautiful 3 bedroom sky apartment and the views were spectacular over the city and you could see the ocean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Central to everything and only walking distance to so much. What did let them down was two elevator's out of four were out of action. Made it very hard to get up and down with a up to half hour waiting time. This sounds like from other reviews I’ve seen is a common problem. Overall I would definitely stay here again and will.
The spa area and the view from floor 14 so pretty
There are only 2 out of 4 working lifts for the property meaning the wait times to get up and down for the floor can be very long (on average in peak times maybe 20 mins) The property is in a good location and the staff were helpful however the unit could do with a good clean, the air conditioner was caked with dust and there were no oven trays so people had been using the oven and it had other peoples burnt food. Our fridge wasn’t working but as soon as we let the staff know they swapped it out that day which was appreciated.
We had an issue with heating and our issue was immediately addressed. The staff lady, sorry didnt get her name gave us extra blanket for the night. The next morning the service guy came in early to check. AJ is a good 👦. He knows exactly what was wrong. Someone switched off the mains that's why the heater is not working. Very happy with their service, accommodation and friendliness of the staffs.
Imagine Lighthouse overall is a very good property. Only problem is the elevators. It's a 69 floor building and only 2 out of 4 elevators are working. The wait to get on the elevator can be up to 20 minutes depending on time of day.
Close to Queen Victoria Markets and good for exploring Melbourne. I would stay again. There were times when the lifts took a while. The day we arrived there was a queue for the lift in the lobby that was probably 50 people long at around 430/5pm (we were going out so I don’t know how long it took to clear).
The apartment was lovely and quiet for being in the center of the city. I would have loved to pay for an upgrade to a higher floor although unfortunately I was not able to. Great location if you are visiting Melbourne for either business or leisure.
Clean /staff were kind. Views were sensational, I’d definitely book again.
The view was incredible and the staff were wonderful.
it was a great place to stay, had a good time.
This was a comfortable and acceptable place to stay in the city. It was a pity that our families rooms were sited on different floors which made trying to reach each other tricky as room entry cards could only be used for a specific floor
Good location but terrible lift system
The hotel is located conveniently at the edge of CBD and near to Victoria market with lots of food options surrounding it. But the big big draw back is the lift system where it started with 3 lifts cut back to 2 lifts servicing all 63 level. A long wait during peak hours.
Beautiful apartment in a great location. Had to ask for more towels and staff on reception were not very friendly.
Had a great stay would definitely stay there again
Fantastic location and absolutely amazing view from the 61st floor Clean room and everything there that you need.
Excellent property, no issue with elevators as mentioned in some of the posts. We never waited for more than 5 minutes and we were on top floor. Gorgeous views from penthouse
Location of the property is perfect. But they gave me a cheaper room with no view. I paid for a better view but I did not get it. Tried to communicate with the receptionist but she refused to listen and keep brushing me off saying that im in the right room. Staff were really terrible. Kettle was super dirty. No hairdryer provided too. There's no phone in the apartment hence I need to go to level 1 to ask for it. Worst customer experience but the view was really good.
Great modern property within walking distance every thing
The property itself was great, great room, great view. However one of the staff members at the front desk were terrible, not helpful, spoke terrible, was rude and made the place seem dodgey. Ruined the experience. However, the next morning a different staff member was very helpful, nice and great. But further the parking situation makes it not worth staying there. Better off spending extra somewhere else than $50 overnight parking. Especially when notified it would only be $30 originally.
Great stay
Had an amazing free upgrade due to missing our first night due to cancelled plans and no refund available, helped anyway they could.
Sky apartment had amazing view and was very comfortable.
Great location. Maid service was a little “hit and miss”; but front desk staff friendly and helpful.
Great location staff for actually nice apart from one lady who I saw was probably in charge of housekeeping as she walked in to the hotel room. We called her from downstairs to get us a couple of extra blankets as the hotel room was very cold and not actually duvet, insight . She bought one duvet up that had a females dried monthly patch on it as that was very much disgusting and I’m even shocked that Lady did not even check it before bringing it up so I chucked it in the hallway after I noticed. She had no proper uniform on was wearing a jacket the whole time I saw her and was very much rude. When walking in she didn’t even say hello or what was the issue she just came in and said you need to turn the card to yes no and where is the TV that was not working an attitude way. After she figured out the remote was actually the problem because the batteries weren’t working anymore she advised us that they will replace the batteries the next day even though they never did and also when we went out that day we changed it to. Yes change my room. The whole day came back to the hotel room at 5 pm and the whole hotel room was not touched apart from she just threw the new towels in the room and left. Then when we saw her when we went down to complain, she said this hotel does not change the covers. We will just probably make the bed only after we told her we want the room to be cleaned and make the bed. She shouldn’t be doing housekeeping

Absolutely brilliant property. Loved our stay. Would definitely recommend upgrading to a sky apartment. My only issue was I messaged before we arrived to ask about parking but didn't get any reply. Once we arrived turned out where we parked was the same place we can get the discount through the hotel.
