Accessible to dining and train terminal

Check in terrible. No one answered phone or door bell finally another guest let me in. Three floors in an ancient building with an elevator not working

Clean, good communication, good location

The room is well-located. Within short walking distance of Il Duomo. The room itself had a high ceiling with a mosaic on it, comfortable bed, a sofa & a desk. En suite bathroom with hot water. Everything worked. The room was very clean. Check in was easy as someone was at the property to greet me. I was very happy with the room & location. The street outside is very busy but everywhere is busy in Florence.

The location was great, close to city center. The bed was horrible, very hard mattress, the TV was tiny, looked like a computer monitor on a giant wall. The shower had a small hole in the tile as if it was made intentionally and maybe they had a camera in there, I put toilet paper to cover the hole just in case there was a camera. The shower was so tiny, could barely move, and water pours outside the shower stall. Two women traveling alone, we didn't feel safe after seeing the hole in the shower tile, we slept with the light on. We only stayed one night. On the positive side, the sheets were very clean, the location was great, but that's all that was good.

The good: The staff were friendly The bad: It's pretty far from Firenze Santa Maria Novella and the small streets in Florence make it hard to get there with luggage The included breakfast was packets of hard bread squares with a few jams, instant coffee and a kettle No fridge Grime which was easily removed around the edges of the shower Loose tiles all over the room No light in the centre of the room so it was very dingy Paper-thin towels The terrible: The toilet had a sewerage backflow problem where after a while liquefied feces would be sitting in the bottom of the toilet The toilet was also leaking from the p-trap The matress was firm but the middle would sink in, signalling a mattress that needs replacing Terrible value for money, I'm not sure how long they've been running it but they are definitely making enough money to bring the rooms into the 21st century

Pros: Conveniently situated near popular tourist attractions. Cons: The placement of the air conditioner was suboptimal, providing insufficient cooling for occupants of the bed. We required a standing fan from the front desk to ensure a comfortable night's sleep. We appreciate the front desk staff's assistance in this matter. Overall: Our stay was satisfactory.

View from the Balcony makes this the perfect place. It was very easy to get to everything and the hosts were very attentive and helpful.

Great room in a decent location. Lots of great food within a few minutes walk. The room is quite big and all of the amenities work great. The location is fairly hidden as it is just a wooden door to a complex, but if you buzz the hotel floor they will let you in and provide keys to the main entrance, hotel entrance and room entrance. A bit complex but worth it for the room. Would definitely recommend this!

Walking to City Center

The service was excellent and the location was very convenient.

The staff was very accommodating and came outside to greet us when we had trouble figuring out which building was the correct building. Parking on the street was very full making it difficult to check in. The room was clean and spacious. We had to go up a step to the bathroom, which was not an issue, just something to be aware of. The lights going up the stairs to the reception are not always on, so be sure to ask where the light switch is or it can be very dark. It was a great place for an over night stay and close to many things.

It is very close to downtown; property is old, but it works very well.

The staff is very nice and courteous, and the location was great, but we had a broken shower so they moved us to another room which smelled like a sewer and had no working air conditioning. The showers also were dirty, with bugs smeared on the wall.

We had a late check-in and the staff were extremely accommodating. The hotel was well decorated and spacious. There were 4 of use staying and we all found the room to be very comfortable and clean. The hotel staff continued to be friendly and very helpful throughout the entirety of our stay. Wholly recommend

Tuvimos una muy buena experiencia en el alojamiento. Solo un poco ruidoso el pasillo que comunica con las habitaciones, de madrugada se escuchaba quien llegaba y quien salía como si estuvieran en nuestra habitación. El resto perfecto. La habitación y baño muy limpio y cómodo. Volvería

Ambiente molto umido e freddo.. l'umidità era l'aspetto peggiore, si percepiva addosso e pure da un punto di vista olfattivo.. Inoltre troppe e assenza di zanzariere. Rapporto qualità prezzo non ottimo

La habitación estaba bien, espaciosa y limpia. Llegabas al centro a pie. Tuvieron la amabilidad de abrirnos la habitación antes para que dejáramos el equipaje. Sólo me puedo quejar por la estricta política de cancelación. Me equivoqué de fechas al reservar y a pesar de haberme dado cuenta al momento y solicitar la cancelación en menos de 5 minutos no me dejaron. Me permitieron cambiar a las fechas correctas pero claro, costaban el doble así que me gasté un dinero que no quería ya que hacía un viaje de 21 días. Me gasté más en una sóla noche aquí que en 4 días completos en Roma o Venecia. Algo en la app hizo que me equivocara. Nunca tuve ese problema en los otros 20 días de viaje reservando en otro portal. Debería haber una ley europea que te permita cancelar si fue un error aunque sólo sea dentro de la primera hora después de reservar. Somos humanos y estas cosas pueden pasar.

Good stay at Il Verrocchio

We had a good stay in the hotel. It is simple but it does the job well. It is in an area less touristic but is not far from the train station and the Duomo for example (15min walk to both). There are plenty of restaurants in the area. A few things could be improved. The thickness of the door for example. We can hear what people say in the corridor. The shower could be cleaner in the corners. And there could be more hooks in the bedroom and bathroom. Other than that, good value for the price.

La signorina che mi ha ricevuto alla reception, questa volta, come anche la precedente, è molto cordiale, disponibile e soprattutto sorridente, un ottima accoglienza. L'ambiente riservatomi ampio, pulito e confortevole.

We could use fridge and microwave unfortunately that room in comparison with the bedroom was unordered. The water cooker was very good for breakfast in room just why in land von cappuccino there was just tea...
