The staff is helpful
TravellerGreat value if you do not mind sharing bathrooms with others.
Traveller如果可以有更多的預算，我建議選擇別間。
缺點：廁所永遠都有臭味，沒有地方晾毛巾與衣服，房間超小，3~5人房鋪上四張床墊後，連行李都快放不下，很難想像五人怎麼住，整棟的浴室只有兩間，而且沐浴用品、吹風機還只有一套，洗澡要等很久，隔音很差、別人的動靜聲清清楚楚；管理櫃台在幾條街外；街道很小、計程車進不來，可能是因為京都旅遊旺季，所以價格也不便宜；遮光不好，要戴眼罩睡。 優點：床具很舒服、服務人員還不錯、廚房蠻大的、廚具很齊全，旅客介紹很詳盡。

Great traditional experience
As we checked in after 8PM we had to go to a separate building which was a bit difficult to find despite having a hand-drawn map stuck on their building. The staff was very helpful as well - even walking us back to our building, but having to lug suitcases and bags in the dark (and rain) to the second building and then BACK again after checking in was not ideal. The room which was a traditional tatami room with futons was clean and spacious - much better than I had expected. The hotel also had friendly and helpful guides to get around and see Kyoto. Aside from the slightly troublesome check in, it was definitely a great place to stay.
