The location of the property to such a vibrant area was perfect. They have a warm and friendly rooftop bar.
Good value, great location and enjoyed the breakfast
I am in the center of the city Milano
great location rooms a little outdated but ok
My earbuds and €50 was stolen after the room service came to clean I reported to receptionist nothings was done If you are using this hotel make sure you don’t leave your valuable when going out .
Location, location, location! We had a great stay here. The rooms were clean, and the staff was nice for the most part. It’s very walkable, and it’s a 5-min walk to the Duomo and right next to the shopping mall. We felt quite safe when we were there. Although we didn’t eat there, the rooftop restaurant had nice views, and the drinks were good. We stayed in one of the renovated rooms, so it was very spacious - the first room we got was cramped and had a strong smoke smell - when we called, they said that they couldn’t change the room because they were at capacity and would send someone with a spray - we were there for 3 days, staying in a cramped room with a smoke smell wasn’t an option - I went downstairs, talked with the front desk, and she was kind enough to move us to another room (same category) - and this room was very spacious, clean, and didn’t have a smoke smell. Made our stay here very pleasant.
I had a problem with the mattress in my room—it was really bad. After complaining to the reception, they eventually moved me to another room. However, I want to emphasize that I had to speak to the reception five times and even request a refund for the night I had to sleep on that mattress. I didn’t travel from London to Milan and pay £290 for two nights to sleep on something like that. It was my birthday, and I was hoping for a good night's sleep with my husband and son. Aside from that issue, everything else was good.
Excelent Location
Great location, building is kind of old, selected a really small room but for a single person and just 1 night it was all I needed.
Location was everything for the visit and for the area you cannot expect too much for the price of this hotel. Comfortable enough but in need of updating.
The hotel is in the perfect shopping location. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We were walking distance from all major shopping and restaurants.
This grand old hotel is in need of a little TLC, but staying there was still a wonderful experience. Everything was clean and in working condition, but older and showing signs of ageing (e.g. some cracked bathroom floor tiles). The room was large. The bathroom was well appointed and large. The walk-in closet area had a small fridge and a safe. They provided bottled drinking every day. The WiFi was good. The rooftop bar was nice, and provided a view of the city. Milan's main attraction - the Duomo - is within 5 min walking distance from the hotel. The M subway station is "around the corner". A taxi to the main station (Milano Centrale) costs about 20 euro, and a subway ride about 2.50 euro per person. The area is a tourist mecca, with a large mall, dozens of restaurants, bars, and tourist attractions within a 1 mile radius.
Breast was great. It is near to duomo and shopping center
Great location
Good location about half a block from the duomo, literally next to a shopping center with all the brands you would expect in milan
Close to attractions
Fabulous location, right in the heart of the city. I chose the room that was ‘ideal’ for a solo traveller. This was adequate, but in need of a refurbishment.
There was no hot water in the morning to take a shower! That was a problem.
The shower room, too small!
DO NOT BOOK HERE WHATSOEVER. If i could leave 0 star i would. I booked it based on the pictures online and here on expedia expecting it to be as perfect as it should be. Spent almost $500 for 2 nights. We came after the check in time and still waited almost an hour to get the key for our room. Got a horrible room as if it was out from a horror movie. Shower does not work, AC/Heater they don’t work. Bugs in the shower since it’s not clean. Bathroom door do not close all the way, gets stuck in the middle. And the most important part is NO HOT WATER unless you wait 15-20 mins for the water to get hot. Windows do not open. Laid on the bed and got a rash, my whole body turned red and itchy. The bed and pillows were hard as a rock couldn’t sleep for a bit. Hotel is so old and need renovation ASAP. To open the door you need to use an actual key like the old times to open and to push the door so hard in order for it to open. Didn’t feel safe at night i had to put a chair to block the door since anyone who has a key can open it from the outside. Reached out to the front desk multiple times about the issues but they didn’t do anything. When i called for the hot water they didn’t even bother to answer the phone. Reached out to expedia to ask for a refund but the manager property refused to give me so. Expedia was helpful and tried hard to see if the hotel can give me my money back but no luck. I have nothing against Expedia ,only the hotel. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
THE BUIKDING HAS NO HEAT! WW GOT SICK!
Only compliment i can give this property is if you like shopping its in a good location. Hotel is very poor had a suite, AC didnt work and the water was scalding in seconds the facilities are very poor I owuld strongly stay away.
Very good place and have a great location.
There was no air conditioning in the room even tho it says they have AC but apparently the city dont allow them to turn it on. I wish they mentioned that before we booked the hotel room. Because of no AC we have to keep the window open and we had mosquitos in our room and its right next to the police stations so sirens all night. I wouldnt stay there again
Great Breakfast!
I wish I was kidding but STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE
My experience was awful from start to finish. First, the room was nowhere near acceptable. The “shower” was simply a showerhead awkwardly placed in the middle of the bathroom with only flimsy shower curtains around it. Water splashed everywhere, making it extremely inconvenient and dangerous—my mother almost slipped. To make matters worse, there were bed bugs, and I had a severe reaction to the bites on my arm. When I informed the staff, they brushed it off and did nothing to help. Additionally, the hotel advertised air conditioning, but there was none. When I brought this up, they admitted it wasn’t available and offered a plug-in fan that barely cooled the room. Additionally because I was having a severe reaction to the bug bites I had to sleep in a sweatshirt in a ROOM WITH NO AIR CONDITIONING. We also ran into issues with airport transportation. The hotel posted a rate for the airport fare, so we asked them to reserve a taxi. When we arrived at the airport, the taxi driver charged us an extra 20 euros more than stated on their fare list, and even though I had a confirmation from the front desk, they had told the taxi driver to charge the extra 20 euros. Which the taxi driver showed us the text. This was hands down the worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced. Save yourself the frustration—stay somewhere else.
This hotel claims to be 4 stars which is a joke. the carpet in the hall was was lumpy and generally dirty and worn out. the rom had no air flow and when when inquired they just gave us a big fan. There from desk was not supportive. they didn't even have a Concierges for recommending local dining and entertainment, and making reservations. They are not a 4 star hotel that I have stayed in.
Improved breakfast area
I was there for the ballet and opera. Since the last time I stayed there the breakfast has improved but this time I stayed in a single room rather than the suite - big difference in quality I must say!
Very close to Duomo, subway station. Friendly staff.
Very old hotel Not 4 stars by any means of the imagination Very clean and everything worked but these old hotels should be marked as 2 or 3 stars
Loved the roof top bar. Choice at breakfast was great. Hotel close to main tourist attractions and transport options
The hotel is in the center of Milan, de Cathedral of Duomo 2 minute walking, good restaurant around, shopping like Mango, Sara ect a 2 or 3 minutes from de Hotel.
I love this hotel.
Room was old. Dirty rugs. Uncomfortable bed. Great location.
Nice hotel, great roof top bar and good location to the city center.
Bathroom had mold on walls; part of the shower rod was attached to unpainted plywood in bath; see room 609; bath tiles were cracked and needed more grout; wallpaper was lifting and coming loose; lift had scratches on the walls and graffiti; rugs throughout 6th floor were filthy and buckled. Staff was congenial and did not seem to care. The room we had did not look like pictures in the Expedia ad. Shame on management! I would not recommend this establishment to my colleagues. Even some of the guests we spoke to during breakfast stated the placed needed to be closed down and renovated properly!
All I need for my trip
Worst experience
It was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I will be calling for a refund because the photos were misleading, information and type of room.
Great location but needs upgrading
Great location, being only a 5 minute walk to the Milan Cathedral but the rooms and hallways were in desperate need of upgrading - tired and dated fixtures, with numerous scrapes and scratches on furniture etc. Nearly all carpets in the hallways were old and rumpled & air-con in room was almost non-existent. Hotel was still very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar was a pleasant surprise.
Service and location was good but …. There were bed bugs in the room. Caused us so much trouble because we all got bed bug bites and had to throw away or laundry everything!!!! Cost us money and stress. Also the room was small and had a bathroom that had a weird sewage smell. Hotel wasn’t cheap either: really disgusting and disappointed. Didn’t complain to the hotel staff because we realized the bed bugs on out last day and at this point damaage was already done and we wanted to get out of there.
Roof top bar was the highlight for this hotel - but you can go here without staying in the hotel!
Great location minutes from the duomo. Lots of restaurants and shops - very walkable. Property was really good but could use a little upgrading. Great breakfast.
The staff was wonderful and the location was outstanding. The breakfast offerings and rooftop was excellent. The cooridors and rooms need to be updated, however, the staff, location, rooftop, and offerings more than made up for it. We had a group of 12 and would stay here again.
Very old. Need to be updated for the price we paid
From the staff to the location to the complimentary breakfast, this hotel provided us with exactly what we needed for our two days in Milano.
This hotel was unbelievably central for Duomo, restaurants, shopping and cafes. We booked the delux rooms on the 10th and 11th floors and they were absolutely beautiful, modern and spotlessly clean. Breakfast great in bright modern room. Rooftop bar a lovely treat and great panoramic views from the upper floor. Staff couldn’t do enough for you- friendly and helpful although staff at reception could have been more welcoming and check how our stay had been etc.
Location was great! Hotel is in need of updating, at least the section i was at. Roof top bar was very nice and staff there were great. Front desk reception were very stern and anything you asked seemed to be a task for them. I had a leak from the ceiling of my room and they acted quickly to fix the problem and offered to help me pack up my belongings but it was my last night so they made a temporary fix so that i would not have to move. The building manager was very polite, quick and efficient to correct the leak. All in all, I feel I paid way too much for the quality of my stay. Disappointed!!
The hotel was very old. We see mold around the whole bathroom. The carpet on the bedroom seemed very old and never been deeply cleaned
The a/c units was setting at 30 degrees can not be re setting by thermostat/ mini bar refrigerator do not work at all/ bathroom supplies was not renewed after the first night
Very close to everything! Duomo is a 5 min walk, Friendly staff & Nice hotel definitely would recommend!!
This hotel room was not cleaned , had bad odor, ripped wallpaper, and the hallways were dirty and moldy. When we attempted to resolve the issues, we were told that this was what we paid for. According to the hotel, all standard rooms came like this.
Very good location, clean and big room , nice food .
Clean specious conveniently located friendly helpful staff.
The breakfast was very nice.
Lovely hotel. Right in the heart of Milan. Walking distance to main attractions and there is lots of restaurants around. The staff is lovely. When I went to the rooftop bar the bartender from Colombia if I’m not mistaken, he was extremely nice. Offered me a lovely drink which I loved and was really nice. Excellent service. Will definitely come back again!
This hotel was an extreme disappointment. The rooms felt unclean and I found many hairs in my sheets. I tried to use the extra blanket provided but hair was also on that one. Rooms were rundown and had a poor smell. Our shower was leaking all over the bathroom floor so we requested a new room and we were not able to get one, nor did we get much help with the situation. The power also went out during our stay. We ended up checking out early because the room was not up to our standards what so ever. The location is great though.
As I was booking this it was all because of the roof top view and as it promise to have but was not mentioned that it’s not open during weekend so how crazy is that. At least they should say otherwise was so disappointed paid for good amount and not cheap but didn’t get that kind of service at all.
Super nice staff, helpful in getting transport and adding a fan to the room. Nice location just a block or so from the cathedral. Comfortable bed!
Will chose another hotel if given the chance.
Air conditioner was not adequate to cool the small room during summer, only 1 lift was operational the 4 days we stayed for the entire hotel. The room we stayed was 712 and it’s really in need of a upgrade, bathroom door which is wood is warped on the bottom, sign of water damage. The only good thing going on is the location which is close to Duomo.
Nicely situated in the center. The property is old and the carpets are worn out. Which does not give an impression of a 4 star.
A good hotel located next to Duomo area of Milan and with reasonable price
Basic hotel
Air condition was not working properly the fridge was dirty walls has Stains old furniture old ripped towels carpet with multiple stains on it
This peoperty is the Worst in terms of hotel facilities, cleniless and staff courtsey. If younare seeing photos of rooms on Expedia or any 3rd party site for this location, those photos are NOT from this particular property. You are not payong for what you are seeing.
Convenient & Reasonable
Very convenient location to the Metro and walking distance to the Duomo and Galleria. Lots of nearby dining options. Rooms were large and comfortable. Somewhat older hotel but no complaints here. Very accommodating with holding baggage prior to checking in and after checking out. Very good breakfast included (many options).
Friendly staff, delicious breakfast, convenient location, small room but still comfortable. No complaints!
Hot AC, old and dirty rooms
Location location location. You can’t get better
Great location. Staff was really nice. Came in July and the air conditioning was a relief. The room was clean and comfortable. It's not glamorous but you can't beat the location. Also the buffet breakfast was really good.
Very old building, needs some updates, but was clean and in a good area.
Nine
We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was excellent, very friendly and helpful staffs. Always greeted us when we passed by the lobby. Alessia was extremely helpful.
Everything was nice especially the location
Comfortable
Friendly English speaking staff, well located, breakfast included, groups welcome
Great location, very clean, nice full breakfast, walkable area with great shopping and restaurants. Service was great, everyone friendly and helpful. However, the downside was the air conditioning, it never cooled the room down adequately. The room was always hot even with the air running day and night.
Was a great location ideal for walking.
The bar staff at the rooftop lounge was rude, there was a rain storm that lasted around 30 minutes. Wouldn't allow anyone on the roof area unless you were a local female with a need for instagram photos. The carpet in the hallways were damp, and wrinkly, a vacuum was left out side of the hotel door and if you weren't watching you would trip over it. The toilets dripped water all night, the water from the shower was yellow and smelled.
.
This property was just a few blocks away from the Duomo in Milan and just steps away from restaurants and shopping. Super convenient and comfortable!
Unfortunately 2 of our rooms were not comfortable. The staff was very helpful changing rooms for us.
Good
Staff were lovely upon arrival and throughout our time here. The room while very spacious for a triple was slightly old fashioned and felt a bit run down. Chipped paint, parts of the wallpaper coming off and handprints on the ceiling for example. Although this was just an aesthetic thing and doesn't make a difference to our stay overall! Location was excellent and just what we wanted, handy shops and transport links nearby and also close to the duomo and other attractions. The free breakfast was a really good offer and the quality was also good. Overall we enjoyed our stay here, and if you know what to expect for what you pay then I'd recommend this hotel.
Excellent property and good staff
Nice place, well located
Nice place - great locations - a bit on the expensive side, but, it is Milan, so....
Paid over $300 for a room with no air conditioning. Slept with windows open and were bit up by mosquitos all night. Reception desk was not friendly. Would not stay again.
The hotel was very clean the front desk people were excellent great location breakfast was very delicious
.
This is an old hotel. The rooms don't have USB ports, which made it difficult to charge multiple devises. However, it is clean and in a safe area with many restaurants, shopping and Il Duomo within walking distance.
The property is outdated and needs a major over haul. Rooms were old and dark, carpets were worn with many trip hazards, no handrails on stairs. Staff was great and location was great but for the price we could have stayed at a newer place.
Not even single Star Hotel. Everything needs major renovations from reception to rooms. Room was worst than roadside Motels.
A 2-star hotel at a 5-star location!
There was no air conditioning until end of April, as per the staff, but not mentioned on any of the booking sites. These last two days were unusually hot in Milan. My husband and I couldn’t sleep with the high heat so the windows were left open to air out. By midnight, a star war was declared with mosquitoes. Mosquitoes on the 9th floor!!! The hotel is very dated with filthy carpeting, dusty countertops, dirty windows, stained shower curtain, etc. The bathroom stinks badly like sewer, and all towels were grey and thin. My eyes were constantly itching and nose irritated even after taking Zyrtec around the clock. The sound proof is so bad that I was forced to follow the next door guest entering the room @1:15 am, sneezing 3 times, flushing the toilet, sneezing another 4 times, turning on the TV, and speaking to someone on the phone. When I got up this morning, there were several bug bites all over my body. These are super itchy bumps bigger than the size of an old US Dollar coin!!! This is ridiculous at close to $300 a night!!! A total rubbish and torture! Be aware!
Great location but disappointing
Not a 4* hotel. Paying for the very central location. Staff excellent. Dated room, comfortable bed, carpets in communal areas in very poor condition. Breakfast average for 3*.
Two of the elevators were not functioning; the front desk was not very helpful at all and quite frankly - rude; the property is conveniently located
Very nice location near the Duomo..
Very closed to Duomo and metro . Highly recommended
Great location with good breakfast!
The area
Milan hotels are awful. It was a 2 star experience. Staff are not friendly, the room was roasting with noisy aircon machines outside so leaving the window open at night is not possible. Very little water in the room. No instructions or details on calling reception.
Room was large and bathroom was huge. Definitely needed upgraded carpeting and upgrade in common areas. Room was a little too dark. Could have used additional lighting, but staff was friendly. Nice breakfast included, and room was nice other than those small things. Definitely worth the stay.

Very close to Duomo and the shopping center as well as lots of dining options. It does get loud though until about 10pm at night. Wasn’t a problem for us as we were awake any how. The only issue was that the shower was incredibly small even though the bathroom was huge. Breakfast was wonderful and there was even a rooftop bar/restaurant with duomo views. Would definitely stay here again.
