Great little hotel

IDI hotel was a perfect little gem. First and foremost, the hotel staff were extremely nice and helpful. They were always ready to assist. The rooms were very clean. What was most important for a family of 5, their family room had 2 full bathrooms/showers which made it so much more convenient. The breakfast was very tasty and plenty. The only minor complaint was the lack of parking, but that was more to do with the municipality than the hotel itself. If I were to return to Agia Galini, I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect

Lovely views for 2nd floors and above. Adorable garden ti sit & have breakfasts. Simple but comfortable beds & pillows. A/C if needed. Perfect little balcony. Clean bathroom, plenty of space. Fridge in room, although plugged in, didn’t appear to be working but I didn’t need it. Very short walk down steep hillside road to marina & all the restaurants - good exercise coming back up. Would highly recommend staying here. Bring your appetite as lots of food at breakfast.

Great small hotel with newly renovated room, fantastic breakfast and lovely hostess.

The owners and hosts were wonderful, attentive and very helpful. The breakfast was entirely homemade with local sourced products and prepared by our hosts. A very enjoyable time in a very special region of Crete.

The owners Jasmine and Dimitri are delightful helpful and truly hospitable people and made us very welcome. The hotel is spotless and with bedding and towels changed daily very clean and homely. Breakfast is entirely of homemade bakery with fruits and coffee. Nothing was too much trouble and they also catered for a family occasion. Highly recommended

Lovely place with lovely hosts. Unique experience

Cozy hotel, With 11 rooms. Very clean. We had a sea view room. The owners are very helpful and very nice. They made it unique and personal , nothing like the impersonal in big chains hotels. They are cooking a different nice breakfast every morning. The overall experience was great. We are strongly recommending this hotel and also the village

Better than any hotel! Family owned with homemade breakfast and superb service! They even helped arrange transportation to our next destination. A+

Excellent little hotel

When we arrived at the hotel they did not have a record of our booking owing to a mix up with the online company I'd booked it through. But they fitted us in to the one room we had left and switched us to a better room for the rest of our stay. Their service was excellent throughout the week. Good breakfast and parking and within easy walking distance to the harbour and all the tavernas - albeit a steep uphill walk back.

IDI Hotel

Lovely quiet hotel close to restaurants, although its a steep 200m walk up from the harbour. We had a well presented room with a clean modern bathroom, and a lovely east facing balcony; very sunny in the morning.

Clean, pretty upgrades to rooms.

IDI is run by a very nice couple. It is their family business, and the rooms show attention to detail in executing recent upgrades. Back room was a little noisy, due to street.

A very comforting hotel stay

A very nice stay, within walking distance of the seaside shops & eateries. The family run hotel is quite nice, giving you a very welcoming feeling when you arrive. The breakfast option was perfect for our needs. Of all the hotels we stays at while visiting Crete, IDI Hotel was our favorite.

Good family-run hotel

We enjoyed staying at this hotel,which is in a good location, very clean and well decorated with a beautiful garden. The set breakfast is brought to your table, rather than self-service, and is very good. Car parking in front of hotel or on the street is easy. Good touring location. Lots of good cafes and restaurants nearby. The geography of Agia Galini is hilly, so be prepared for steep inclines.

Lovely owners, generous sweet breakfast, cute details in the renovated room, plus hairdryer! Bliss!

Great greek hotel

Well placed hotel, just above the busier village centre. Really friendly run small hotel. Typically greek style, but immaculately looked after and maintained ( no dodgy wiring, plumbing etc that u might get in Greece) The owners are very friendly, breakfast simple and delicious on the garden terrace. All in all for the great price you pay the Idi hotel provides excellent clean accommodation with a warm welcome, it's not a posh spa hotel, thank goodness, so don't expect it. Will definitely be go back here to stay and can highly recommend.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans cet établissement, dans un village très agréable et calme Belle Plage a proximité avec restaurant et commerces Nos hôtes ont été particulièrement gentils et serviables Les petits déjeuners servis en terrasse faits maison et différents chaque matins étaient délicieux

En perle på Kreta

Nydelig vertskap. Vi følte oss ivaretatt på alle måter gjennom 12 dager på IDI. Koselig liten landsby med supre strender

Trevligt litet familjedrivet hotell

Chambre pour 4 ou 5: très pratique, 2 salles de bain, lits corrects, service adéquat (ils répondent rapidement à une demande) et les déjeuners étaient bons (un peu trop de feuilleté mais c’est le style). Petite terrasse arriérée agréable, climatiseur efficace. Excellent choix

Emplacement au top, très joli village pouvant servir de base pour de nombreuses excursions. Excellent accueil et petit déjeuner Chambre bien équipée avec vue sur la mer

Besonders hervorragend war das Service. Die ganze Familie ist hier voll im Einsatz. Die Zimmer sind einfach aber gepflegt und stets sauber. Meerblickzimmer sind begrenzt zu erwarten.

Très bien et sympa

Jasmine and Dimitri sont TRES accueillants, toujours à l'écoute des clients. Hôtel est très bien entretenu et la déco est sympa, il est situé ds le centre d Agia Galini proche du port et de la plage. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et change tous les jours !!!! très bon jus d'orange et tout est fait maison.

Sehr ansprechendes Hotel mit sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Besitzern. Einziges Manko: das Zimmer war etwas zu klein für 3 Betten und dann fiel die Klimaanlage mitten in der Nacht aus....bei 31Grad!!!! ....würde aber am nächsten Tag sofort repariert.

This hotel is well situated and very clean. Very good breakfast. We have been woken up early in the morning by the room doors slapping.

Excellente étape

Établissement familial tenu par un couple et son fils qui contient 15 chambres d'hôte. Situé sur les hauteur d'Agia Galini, accès au port à pieds en 5 minutes. Il n'est pas évident de garer son véhicule à proximité. Très bon accueil de la patronne et de son fils, la chambre est petite mais confortable équipée d'une climatisation et d'une belle salle de bains. Le meilleur souvenir de notre étape de 2 nuits restera le sublime petit déjeuner maison, pâtisseries salées, sucrées et fruits frais. Endroit parfait pour passer une bonne nuit et bien démarrer la journée.

Gezellig hotel gerund door warme familie

Goede uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes. Basis inrichting, zeer proper, goed sanitair. Prima airco. Vriendelijke familie, discreet aanwezig, blij te helpen met tips voor restaurant en bezoekjes. Lekker home-made overvloedig ontbijt, verse producten van eigen boerderij.

Trevligt värdpar som gav bra service. Mysig frukost. wi-fi fungerade ok lite dåligt emellanåt.

Petit hôtel sympa !!

Petite structure très accueillante. Les chambres sont personnalisées, propres et fonctionnelles. La literie est très bonne. Une chaîne en langue française pour suivre les informations ou séries TV. Frigo et coffre (si besoin) dans la chambre. Très calme. Le petit déjeuner est servi sur la terrasse. Il est différent chaque matin car la propriétaire cuisine de petites spécialités grecques pleines de saveurs. Bien situé par rapport au centre touristique.

Prima hotel met perfecte service

Heel erg genoten van dit hotel. Iedere ochtend een heerlijk een gevarieerd ontbijt. Mooie kamers die iedere dag netjes schoongemaakt worden. Was een probleem toen wij aankwamen doordat het hotel overboekt was, maar dit is goed opgelost door de eigenaren.

Hatten eine wunderbare Woche im Hotel IDI. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, sehr saubere und neu renovierte, gemütliche, liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer. Würde jederzeit wieder dieses Hotel buchen.

Frühstück unter der Pergola, ruhige Zimmer, gute Lage (nicht im Getümmel, 5 Minuten zum Strand, 5 Minuten zum Hafen und den Restaurants etc.), Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Tipp: Hauseigenes Olivenöl kann gekauft werden.

Familienhotel mit viel Liebe geführt

Die kleinen aber für Agia Gallini gut ausgestatteten Zimmer sind mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet, sehr sauber und das Besitzerehepaar ist so liebenswert. Jeden Morgen gibt es von Jasmine selbst gemachtes Frühstück. Jeden Tag etwas anderes. Viele typisch griechische Spezialitäten. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, ausser an den zu wenigen Urlaubstagen.

abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel che si trova all'ingresso del paese di Agia Galini durante la vacanza a Creta. l'hotel è a gestione familiare, molto cortese tutto lo staff. Camera non grandissima comunque vivibile e dotata di tutto il necessario (TV, aria condizionata) e pulita. ottima la colazione con qualcosa di diverso cucinato dalla proprietaria ogni mattina. wi-fi gratuito. l'hotel non dispone di parcheggio privato quindi bisogna cercarlo nelle aree vicine, non un problema nella maggior parte dei casi. Per arrivare in centro al paese o in spiaggia c'è una passeggiata di circa 700mt a piedi (3 minuti in macchina), con un bel dislivello da tenere presente (soprattutto al ritorno...).

Nous avons passé 10 jours trés reposant les personnes qui se sont occupé de nous pendant se séjour sont adorable, trés gentils, les petits déjeuner sont trés copieux, variés et surtout fait maison, excellent,nous conseillons cet hotel,les chambres sont nettoyées tous les jours.

Dette oppholdet har vært så fantastisk med så herlige eiere at vi utvidet ferien med 5 dager.

Charmigt lugnt välskött

Hotellet är väldigt charmigt och har en liten lummig trädgård på framsidan. Här finns också en liten uteplats där frukosten serveras. Frukosten bärs ut på bricka till dig och den är varierad varje dag. Bröd serveras alltid och det kompletteras med någon hemgjord frukosträtt som kan vara av olika slag och oftast varm. Du får även lite frukt. Helt underbara är frukostarna! Vi fick ett rum med balkong mot en liten bakgata men det var inget som störde. Rummet var ganska litet sängen tog upp det mesta av ytan. Badrum och toalett i ett som var otroligt fint. Vi upptäckte att Wifi endast fungerade på vår toalett men nere på uteplatsen fungerade den bättre. Det tar bara 5 min att promenera till byns centrum där det ligger flera fina restauranger. Till stranden tog det ca10 min att gå. Bra att veta är att hela orten ligger på klippor så att promenera innebär alltid trappor och backar! Vi är mycket nöjda med vårt besök!

Familiäres kleines Hotel im Herzen von Agia Galini

Super tolles Frühstück, jeden Tag anders und immer von der Eigentümerin liebevoll und selbst hergestellt. Sehr nettes Gastgeberehepaar! Die Zimmer sind einfach und gut eigerichtet. DieZimmer zum Dorf ( also hinten raus) haben immer Abendsonne können aber in der Nacht etwas lauter sein da die Straße direkt dort verläuft. Die Zimmer mit Meerblick sind Klasse! Der Strand ist in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen,genau wie das Centrum des Dorfes!

Charmant hotel familial

Hotel très charmant, tenu par une famille très serviable et sympatique. Nous avons aimé la chambre chaleureuse, avec son joli balcon. Propreté impeccable. Le port et la plage sont accessibles à pied.

Parfait - "POLIKALA"

Famille accueillante très impliquée dans le bien-être de leurs hôtes. Chambres confortables décorées avec goût, petit-déjeuner copieux et diversifié. Hôtel situé au calme par rapport au centre ville très animé, avec un bougainvillier magnifique montant le long de la façade. Accès rapide à la plage et au centre animé du port, en quelques minutes de marche. Quelques places de parking devant l'hôtel, et sinon possibilité de se garer dans la rue. Si besoin, une cuisine en accès libre partagé est mise gracieusement à disposition (frigo individuel dans les chambres).

Hotel + B&B

Hotel wordt door een stel gerund. In dit hotel krijg je alle comfort van een hotel gecombineerd met de intimiteit van een B&B. De eigenaren waren heel vriendelijk en lieten ons erg op ons gemak voelen.

Klein aber fein

Zimmer sind klein aber sehr sauber und frisch renoviert.

Chambres vastes et confortables

excellent hôtel d'étape pour du tourisme itinérant. Y ayant réservé 3 chambres, nous n'avons finalement eu qu'une seule chambre dans cet hotel, les deux autres étant dans un hotel voisin, tout aussi confortable quoique moins intime. Patron et patronne adorables, petit déjeuner continental correct.
