Checked in at 11pm after long workday. The plan was to sleep for 7 hours and the check out after breakfast for another long workday. The pillows provided are not standard and were uncomfortable. But the worst part why I have rated you poorly is at 5 am I woke up because of water leaking sound. My guess is someone in the room above me was having early morning shower but there is a loud water leaking sound in my room. This is unacceptable especially when I am paying 200 CHF for just 7 hours for good night sleep. Not coming back to ibis in zurich again.

Breakfast was very nice, the knsite restaurant offered a delicious menu, we ate there one night. Location is good, right on Tram 4, easy to get into the Old City and to trains and bus terminals for transfers and excursions. It is a simple room, clean but a bit of toucb up paint would go a long way to make it seem cleaners/fresh.

Walking distance from Hardbrucke station….thsi property is a perfect fit for solo travellers and families as well…would definitely recommend this facility

This Ibis is beside a Novotel and behind an Ibis Budget. The lobbies, bars restaurants & breakfast rooms are accessible to all. The neighbourhood is somewhat interesting, safe and quiet. Staff at our hotel were friendly and capable. Breakfast was good enough to carry us through the day. Rooms understandably have no coffee or tea service but otherwise met Ibis standards. Clean linens every day. Lobby was large & stylish. We slept well and didn't mind the walk to town but the tram and shopping are both nearby.

There’s no proper facility in the room, like no iron, no proper cabinet for clothing, no ice dispenser, same manu for every day breakfast. Room beds are very older style, in side room didn’t look good.

I like the location of it, in front of the square with other restaurants. Can park for a few, which was totally worth it, can also use the pool for a small surcharge for the day (it's connected to Novotel hotel and it's for the Novotel pool access and gym access). Not a fan of the breakfast here. Fine hotel.

Very poor caliber hotel. No amenties. . No restaurant. Location poor and no places to eat around. . Transportation is good and tram service is very close and convenient.

The housekeeping people is a disaster. And small and horrible towels. Poor breakfast!!! Juices are Water and the eggs are water too. People on front desk very nice and helpful. Good location.

The property was nice, but the breakfast was excessively expensive for what it was.

Conveniently located - tram #4 will take you to the old town and the rest of Zurich and nearby train station (10 min walk) has trains going to ZRH airport every 30 min - which was one of the reasons we picked it. Hotel had everything that we needed, nothing fancy, everything clean and functional. Checkin line was surprisingly slow but that's minor.

Air conditioner was set to 18, but did not seem to cool the room.

It is fine but a IBIS. You get what you pay for. Some nice touches like sharing dining room with Novotel in the same building.

Good solid room/service. Easy access to city

Clean room, nice people. Close to public transportation so very easy to get into town (about a mile walk as well). The one thing I missed was having coffee in my room. But overall I would stay here again.

Everything was fine except for the shower handle, which didn't stay up. So I had to sit on shower floor to shower. There is no hair conditioner and the hair dryer is not very powerful. So not looking very good today as a result! Staff are excellent. Check-in was perfect and everyone else very helpful.

Average Ibis Hotel: Great Staff, Noisy Rooms

Rooms and hotel in keeping with other Ibis hotels so clean, tidy and to a reasonably modern standard. Breakfast buffet very good and restaurant staff very friendly, Only downside was noise, the hotel is not on a particularly busy road, however the rooms are not well insulated and have no carpet so all noise above, especially chair movement, was heard and noisy throughout evening and early morning, housekeeping also tried every door at 8am one morning letting each door slam shut after opening so was constant door banging that morning, one day power tools started up in a room nearby, could do with better sound insulation. No kettle/hot drink facilities in room, had to ask for boiling water at the bar so couldn’t have a tea or coffee in my room, understand this in the nearby Ibis Budget but not this hotel.

Great hotel right on the beach and near lots of restaurant choices. The staff is very helpful and also prepares an excellent breakfast. Great value for the price and free parking is a bonus. The rooms are plenty big, quiet, and also love the closable exterior privacy shutters.

Cost vs facilities - I will not recommend

Liked the hotel and staff. However to avoid getting a bunk bed for 3 adults and a small bathroom we had to book a room for sleeps 4 and get a better spacious room and bathroom. But your staff and compliment from the Hotel was very much appreciated. Thank you

舒適。從酒店去機場走幾分鐘路搭地鐵很快到。只是去市中心要搭4號電車7、8個站到。電車班次還算密。酒店附近有超市，沒有什麼地方可以逛了。

Small rooms, but location is good close to university and the city

15 minutes walk to old town. Good food options around.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I wish even the basic rooms were equipped with a mini fridge and safe! Otherwise, great stay! :)

Fantastic and friendly staff. Front desk- everything was super easy and quick. I am super deep sleeper soI was fine, but I have admit- the walls are rather thin and I could hear my neighbours. Hotel within easy walking distance from train/tram station.

Was good stay only no coffe tea in room wish I have coffee in bed.

The staff are great. One of the young ladies at breakfast on Wednesday and Thursday was very welcoming, friendly and eager to help.

Hotel condition wasn’t good. I think it’s not suitable for family. It’s probably okay for business trips.

Disappointed by the service, the lack of a kettle in the room and the very few staff. The location was great. It was good value.

When I checked in, for some reason they said my reservation was deleted in their system, they finally assigned me a room but no room service at all.

Hotel staff was super friendly and accommodating for morning coffee. Bedding was a bit uncomfortable and hot, but the room was decent enough. Not a bad stay.

La habitación era amplia, limpia, con un pequeño y conveniente refrigerador. El staff fue muy amable y atento. El hotel está ubicado muy cerca del tram, supermercados y restaurantes.

The twin rooms are extremely small for two adults to share. We waited for a while to get an invoice printed at the end of our stay and the we were told that they need to send to us by email. I had to call them 5 days later to get this invoice sent and I am still waiting on the reply and the invoice.

New, chic, contemporary, practical. Great breakfast buffet (not included).

Nice place to stay overall. Modern, simple and utilitarian design serves just fine if you are not planning to stay too much in the room. Bathroom it's very nice too.

Excellent service

The staff at the bar was exemplary. He helped me with my old parent's food preparation. I really appreciate his help. Room was great, only minor improvements like damaged shower door (can't close the door tightly, results in shower leaks) & the heater fan is abit too noisy even at the speed of 1.

Great Overnight Stay

Great, affordable hotel for a night. Entrance is confusing as it shares with another ibis.

No kettle/coffee machine in the room.Upstairs is very nosiy.

3 min walk from the nearest tram station, just next to Novotel and Ibis Budget. Nothing much nearby, 2 small supermarkets in walking distance.

re-no-warning-vations during my stay

Everything was great except for my key not working on the last two days and not getting fixed. The last morning, I was looking forward to sleeping in since I didn’t have to check out until noon. There were renovations happening directly upstairs and I was woken up to the sound of hammers and drills at 8 am. I called the reception and all they said was that it was unfortunate, but the work needed to be completed. i would have appreciated a warning but there was no signage anywhere notifying any guests of this planned construction. It did stop for about half an hour but then it was on full blast.

The property is about 10min tram ride from Zurich HB. From the train station, the tram stop number 4 is just outside. There are ticket machines in the platform too. From the stop, hotel is just 2 blocks away. Check in is very easy. Gilbert on the front desk was very helpful. He pointed to us that theres 2 grocery store just across the park, in an old industrial space. They let us borrowed water kettle and some mugs. They also let us use the microwave in the dining hall. Front desk staff, everyone were friendly and very helpful. One lady helped me print out some train tickets. The room have enough space for 2 carry on luggages and 1 large one. There is a small seating area, and a long desk. Bathroom is ok space. The shower door is leaking that's why the bathroom floor gets a little flooded. But other than that, everything was great.

Renovations underway

Beware. Drilling and banging all day ruined an otherwise pleasant stay. They give no warning at the hotel or on Hotels.com so be sure to ask!

Beautiful and we'll located, my only issue was that there was not an outlet close to a mirror

convenient location near transportation and highway. In a lively neighborood, closed to bars, clubs and restaurants. we could clearly hear noisy guests coming back from party at 5/6 am, they were still continuing to party in their rooms.

Good for Zürich

I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. The breakfast is excellent and the rooms are very comfortable.

situated in not so busy streets, a peaceful place

This is a 2 star hotel and operates as a budget hotel, so people need to review it as such. The location was perfect for me as I was there for a week residency at technopark which is literally in front of the hotel. The check-in and check-out were easy, the room was clean and enough space for me, the bathroom was spacious, the Wifi was fast and there were some English channels on TV. No room service but the hotel has its own restaurant with limited menu and opening hours everyday however you are allowed to order delivery from local restaurants, and hotel is next to several restaurants and there is a Coop in front of it in a small sort of mall. Its a 9 minute walk from Hardbucke station which is convenient if you are coming or going to the airport. So, for the price they are charging its quite a good bargain in Zurich. If you want something else, book another hotel; simple.

Fairly new hotel in old factory area which is being regenerated. Trendy shops bars nearby. About 30 minutes walk from central station. Tram stop nearby. Room reasonable size for ibis. Staff WiFi fine. Breakfast okay.

My stay in Zurich was very short but the staff at Ibis have really left a mark! They were so helpful and just so welcoming. They went out of their way to help with any enquiries. The room was very spacious and kept in high standard. The beds are the most comfortable I have ever come across. I will definitely book with them again when back in Zurich.

A pleasant and basic room for our needs

Our stay at the Ibis Zurich City West was pleasant and was suitable for all of our needs. It was very close to public transportation and took about 15 minutes to get to the city center by tram. There are also a few supermarkets nearby which was very helpful for our stay. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Ibis and in Zurich.
