Absolutely great! This was my first time in switzerland , they really made me feel great, the service is top notch , the staff is great, its right infront of a bus stop , the restaurant attached to it is really really good too, so no need to run around town. Will def go back there on my next trip! 5stars

The staff was outstanding.

The rooms are small but functional, the bathroom nice and modern, good size, lots of counter space. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. Great breakfast buffet. The only negative was that our room was right above the smoking corner. It was hot, so we wanted to keep the windows open at night, but then the smoke wafted in. No AC but ceiling fans.

Location and cleanliness.

The views from the property aren’t great but it does the job of a friendly, clean, stop over hotel. The room was small with a small bathroom but it was fine. Breakfast was also ok.

It was perfectly fine - you get what you pay for. It seemed a little bit in the middle of nowhere. There were not many shops around - except for a service station (that we could find, anyway!). Once we figured out the public transport (there is a bus stop out front) it made it a little more accessible, but not ideal.

We needed a place to stay as a break from driving, so we chose this hotel which is just outside of Zurich. It was super easy to find, easy parking right at hotel and in a nice area. Front desk person was great. Room was a bit small, but clean. There is a restaurant in the hotel which looked good but we didn't eat there, but they kindly fixed us two coffees to go the next morning when we were leaving early. Nice location and we took an evening walk along the river.

The hotel was very noisy, terrible service at the restaurant and the front desk, uncomfortable room, the hair dryer OMG doesn’t work…

The location was very popular spot for business and leisure guests. There are a lot of smokers on site which the smoking smell get inside your room if you have the window open. The room does offer 2 fans because no air conditioning in room which also get a bit warm and stuffy. The staff were pleasant but not overly friendly. Overall it was an okay stay.

I am grateful to all the employees of this hotel. Very tasty breakfast, everything is clean and tidy. The front desk workers are polite. Once again I want to thank all the staff of the hotel for the warm welcome.

Great little hotel on the outskirts of Zurich. It was easy to get into the city centre by using public transport, with a busstop right next to the hotel. The shower was amazing, it was all very clean, the bed was comfy and the restaurant had good food.

We had to upgrade our room to an air conditioned room. The information on Expedia does not indicate that the room I am booking has no air conditioner. We had to pay extra in order to have an air conditioned room. Wish this important information is indicated on Expedia. The hotel itself is great. The location is good and great access to transportation i.e. bus.

With that amount of payment can get a 5 star villa in Asia country and with that money it wasn’t even nice standard. Plus not big enough space. With that premier inn is way better.

The rooms were comfortable and neat. The corridors smell like sweat and it would be nice to have a kettle and mugs in the room. Very close to the bus stop to reach the more central areas.

Great place. Loved the staff rhe breakfast could have had more options. Is a little far from town but very very close to bus stop whixh is the way to travel in zurich. Bus/tram/subway is the best way to get around so this hotel is great just too far from airport.

Great short stay!

The hotel allowed for early check in which I was very grateful for after the transatlantic flight. It was very close to a bus station and allowed for easy transport to the city center.

it was good. We needed something to stay the night which isn't very far from airport. Stay served the purpose. Good to have free parking.

Rooms were clean inside, but outside the halls Carpet was dirty and needed some cleaning. Also we reserved 2 rooms. When we talked to reception she said that we got 2 rooms but they are far from each other. One room was on the second floor and the other one was on the third. I explain to her that we have kids but receptionist said that there’s nothing she can do. It’s wasn’t convenient because we had children with us and it was hard to go back-and-forth

Very basic but ok - design is awful!

We took this hotel because it’s conveniently located for us. It’s not to far from the city center and reachable by bus. That’s why the room prices are reasonable but take in account that there is nothing in this area and the bus stops at about midnight. The downside are the old fashioned design of the rooms, the plastic prefabricated bathroom which is awful and uncomfortable and the location next to the high road which results very noisy rooms if you sleep with open windows. Take in account that there is no AC.

Hotel allows police to enter customers’s rooms

Went to rest past 3 am. Local police woke me up banging on my room’s door, then opened the door with a master key and entered the room. What for? To tell me I had traffic tickets to pay, which I didn’t know about (radar speeding control). I would either pay immediately or have to go to jail for at least 3 days. This is how civilized Swiss police are. And hotels have to cooperate giving them their customers list. Most countries do not treat tourists this way, but Swiss authorities seem to be sadistic enough to do it. For this terrible and embarrassing experience, I will never again spend a night in a hotel in Switzerland.

Clean and comfortable rooms/beds. TV with a variety of channels in many languages if you like that sort of thing. Basic buffet style breakfast, very Swiss like (cheese, bread, meats, coffee, yogurt etc). Overall, comfortable hotel with functional rooms.

Good stay. Nice restaurant. Peson at check in was very gentle. Ther was some smeel in the corrido of third floor. Humidity? Hotel was ok. Rather far from the city center, for those who aim to that.

2nd time this year we have stayed at the Ibis, its a great hotel, staff are very welcoming....Rooms are very good, and had a very good nights sleep, beds are comfortable..! We will be back again..!

Good rate for Switzerland

This is a very bare bones hotel but well maintained and also very clean. The rates were good for Switzerland and we were pleased to find a fan in our room because it was hot. Ate dinner in the restaurant one night of our two night stay and found it to be very average.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was no frills, but was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean, and had a great shower with amazing water pressure. Hotel was in a quiet area, which was nice, while still accessible by public transportation. Also the front desk staff was super nice and helpful.

Nice hotel

They allowed me to check in 2 hours early. Gave me useful information to get to all the destinations I wanted to. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Good food in the restaurant enjoyed my stay .

Service at the front desk was great as well as the attendants at breakfast. The hotel was clean and simple, but very functional. Unfortunately, it is on a busy street and even with a fan in front of an opened window, the room was uncomfortably hot until 3 AM

Shower wasn't good, doors didn't close fully, breakfast was too busy for staff to be able to cope with clearing tables efficiently, colleague had to change rooms due to no hot water at all. Have stayed multiple times in the past and this was the worst experience in years

Not too bad

The hotel was easy enough to find and lots of free parking. There is no fridge in the room but the hotel has a fridge in the kitchen you could probably use. The breakfast wasn’t too bad, a lil over priced I thought. The shower head is a bit dangerous as it shoots off when you turn the shower off, almost hit my head a few times so be careful if your traveling with kids .

Noisy hotel

I chose this place for having parking places, however the isolation of walls and floor is terrible, difficult to sleep when listening to your neighbors above and beside.

Awkward location in relation to city centre (using public transit), but good quality hotel.

Convenient location.

The hotel was nice and conveniently located, as we could hop on a bus into Zurich right in front. We were there during an unusually hot time, upper 80's to lower 90's. This wouldn't have been an issue, but our room did not have A/C and was on the side where the sun beat down on it.

Enjoy our stay

The hotel room is very modern and clean! The staff is so thoughtful. They immediately put a roller bed for us as we have three people. Easy access to Zurich city as well as to airport.

My wife and I were looking forward to first trip to Switzerland however our experience with hotel was unpleasant due to lack of very common and basic facilities such as decent air conditioning system and no tea/coffee service in hotel room. We enjoyed the time spent outside of our hotel and unfortunately did not look forward to coming back to hotel after each day.

Too hot in summer!!

We visited in summer and it was okay apart from the lack of air conditioning, which was uncomfortable especially with a young baby. Otherwise okay. Not near many restaurants but very close to public transport.

Cheapest hotel value for money in Zurich

It's a functional hotel with good location not far from Zurich city center/airport/lake front. It's value for money as it's the cheapest hotel I have stayed in Switzerland. Although the facilities are only basic, it served us well. The hotel restaurant Boom is considered cheap and good, which served tasty food such as burger, spaghetti and pizza.

Nice hotel, close to centre

The hotel was perfect for our stay, about 11£ in a taxi to the centre of Zurich or an hour's walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant downstairs provided good food and service.

Very cramped but accessible and close

Definitely worth the decreased price and free parking if you plan to bus around the city anyway. When we arrived they had a baby bed delivered to the room immediately and they helped us with travel on the train. Room was extremely cramped but had nice amenities and the bed was comfortable. Decent stay, very quiet and accessible by train/bus.

Swiss and Zurich particularely have become so expensive that we stayed one day and that's it. 52.$ for 2 spaghettis and 1 beer forget it and over 30.$ for 2 breakfasts got us out of Zurick so fast that we are never coming back.

Nice hotel within public transport to Zurich.

We liked the hotel as we had relatives living in Adliswil. The room was nice and clean and comfortable. The breakfast not included but excellent value. The area is very pleasant and here is nothing you can do close by without going with a car or using the bus.If you have a car this place is great for a stop over.

Cramped

Unfortunately we weren't overly impressed with this hotel. The room was small and cramped for 3 people, very warm and stuffy, no tea/coffee making facilities. I have used Ibis before and had a much better experience. Wouldn't recommend for more than 2 people or for more than a couple of nights.

lovely hotel - shame about the restaurant!

lovely hotel, but let down by two things - 1. the bed has two divets, one on each side! Definitely needed a new mattress in that room! 2. we ate at the restaurant on our first night - YUK! We had the hamburgers, and they were the WORST meal we've had on our entire two month trip through europe. Possibly the worst meal I've had, ever. Don't waste your money or torture your tastebuds by eating there!
