Our first room had a bad smell we were moved and upgraded and the receptionist was very nice about it and very sorry for the inconvenience

Decent bed to sleep in. Bit out of the way but a good hotel.

It is a budget hotel and was what we expected

The hotel is a little way outside the town centre , so best to take a bus or taxi. Taxis are quite expensive. 20 Euros for a 3km ride. The only real problem i had was when i got nack to the hotel about 12.30am and my card wouldn't work. The recrptionist took 20 minutes to get me anothet one as he couldn't log on!

Stay at Ibis

Everything was good, the wifi was a little bit slowe. The breakfast was great.

Good hotel.

Relatively modern hotel. Rooms are small but well equipped with AC, openable windows and comfy beds. Service in the restaurant need some improvement, though.

Great place

Hotel was clean, staff were friendly. Only negative would be that we tried to order drinks to our room to be told it was fine and a member of staff would bring it up, but it never arrived.

Fijn hotel

Wat een fijn hotel om te overnachten na een concert in Tilburg. Comfortabele kamer en erg netjes. Ontbijtbuffet was goed voorzien. We zullen in de toekomst nog graag hier overnachten.

The rooms were compact, but comfortable. The restaurant was very good. Staff was nice and friendly. Nice green area with walking trail. Unexpected extra costs at check inn for Gemeente belasting?, was strange.

Overall it was nice and convenient. But the room is too small than we expected so we’ve got an extra room. The room seems smaller than other local hotel in the area.

The overall feeling after staying in this hotel was not good.

Surprised I had to pay about 8 Euro for parking.

Don’t see any reason for charging extra for car parking. Especially when the gates are open half the time for service..... This is the first year they started these charges...

Breakfast ok.

Very friendly, accommodating staff. They were incredibly helpful, even managing to get a reduced rate on a taxi to the airport, making such a thing practical. They even had a reservation made, which went a long way for my peace of mind. If I'm ever in the Netherlands again, this is where I'll be staying in the future.

Average hotel, poor restaurant service..!

I have stayed here for 2 nights. Location is around 3 km from city center. If don't have your vehicle the only option is take bus. Bus frequency is every 10 mins. There is nothing around the hotel. Room was good but missing basic things like tea/coffee maker, water etc. You need to pay for all those stuffs. Restaurant staff was running but service was really disappointing. There is very limited food choice and food quality was ok. Overall average hotel and would not recommend to stay here.

Had a great time, was able to walk to visit family, instead of trying to figure out roads,nice to see everything around within walking distance.

Quick check in but you have to pay for parking unless you sign up for their rewards program. Good for a stoppover but nothing more as the room is small.

Functional not Fancy

I was in Tilburg visiting my daughter. The hotel was fine, the staff were helpful and nice, and they let us park our bikes in the shed. It was not downtown, but there are great paths everywhere and it wasn't hard to go back and forth. With the window open we could hear lots of happy birds singing.

Ibis Tilburg stay

The Hotel was excellent and the staff were without exception friendly and accommodating. Breakfast (from 6:30 to 10am) was excellent - with as much as you could eat to prepare you for the day. There was some building works happening when I stayed there - but this was pre-announced and while noisy for a couple of days was of short duration - these things happen so not a big issue. The bus stop is more or less just opposite the entrance with was handy and the hotel has an accommodation with a taxi firm for rides to the city center - approx €14. Do be aware that the bus does not stop at the local stop on Sundays - you need to walk a ways to get it if needed. There is also free wi-fi and no password was needed.

The hotel was being renovated and I got one of the remodeled rooms. Room was compact but excellent bathroom. Staff were very attentive and service was higher than you would get at hotels with more stars. Did not explore surrounding but had an excellent meal with local menu in the restaurant.

Ibis tilburg

Rooms are basic and a bit small but good value for money. Staff very helpful and friendly. No coffee/tea making facilities in room but front desk were happy to provide a kettle. Easy walking distance to Tilburg stadium

Out of town but almost self contained

Very helpful and friendly staff - went on an International Hockey tour and several teams were there so a little busy for them but they coped well. The evening staff were particularly friendly.

Regular Ibis

It was a regular, normal Ibis establishment close to the highway and easy to get to. The only complaint is a bed bug that bit me in the palm of my hand during the 5-hour stay there.

Not so great.

Not a great experience at all. The first night after hauling our suitcases up to the 3rd floor, the room key didn't work, so we went back down to request another. No apology or empathy for our inconvenience etc. Then that night after showering, we set off the smoke detector in the room because of the steam from the hot shower. Maybe a fan in the bathroom would be a good idea? My son caught a flu bug and sweat all night, so I pulled off his sheet in the morning and laid it on the floor, hoping to get a new clean one. Upon my return in the room, it was obvious that the same sheet was put back on the bed. Trust me, it smelled like body odor and sweat. The next night, the drunk neighbors next to us harassed my sick son(who stayed in the room all day)by calling him on the phone, speaking in what he assumed was Dutch and were banging on his wall. After I complained at the front desk, no apology was made or empathy or concern. I will not be staying in the hotel again nor recommend it to anyone.

Would not book Ibis ever again!

The hotel is old. It smells moldy in the hallway. The rooms are small. There are no screens in the windows. There is no air ~ only a small fan provided. Rooms on the first floor have an awning/roof that anyone could walk on and get into your room at night if you have the window open. Not safe so we slept with the window closed even though it was hot and humid that night. We were charged 14 euros for breakfast which is very expensive - eat out somewhere else and not here. Plenty of sidewalk cafes to chose from with better food and ambiance.

Hotels a bit far out of the city but there is a bus stop the other side of the road and the hotel has a special deal with a local taxi company who can take you to the city centre for 11 euros. Breakfast was expensive for what it was at 14 euros. But altogether a decent hotel for a decent price.

Low price, but poor to average standard

Small, at best average hotel, catering mainly for business travellers. Room OK, but no facility for making tea or coffee. No pool or other similar amenities. Restaurant menu extremely limited and food standard average to poor (e.g., burnt croissants on offer at breakfast two consecutive mornings). Redeemed somewhat by the consistently very friendly and polite staff. I'll look elsewhere if I'm staying in the area again.

good location

I stayed here with my wife while we were attending a music festival in the city. Easy to get into Tilburg by bus cheaply. Beds were comfy, room was clean but basic. I have no complaints, value for money here is good compared to others in Tilburg. Staff were friendly, good bar! I only tried the breakfast , which was convenient and tasty, but a little expensive. Supermarket and shops a short and pleasant walk away. Overall had a great stay.

Basic comfort. Clean and tidy. Room service respected "Do not disturb" and left towels etc. at the door. No kettle in room though.

A GOOD HOTEL BY TILBURG STANDARDS

I've been traveling to Tilburg on business for the past 12 years and have stayed in virtually every hotel in the area. Unfortunately, none stand out us fantastic despite being as much as £200 per night without breakfast. Based on price and quality of service I believe the IBIS is by far the best hotel in the area

Not bad for short stay!

We booked for two rooms as we were traveling as group of family of 4 with a 2 year child. Baby cot could fit in our room properly as the room size was very small. Would not recommend to stay with small children at this hotel.

Excellent standard of service

Stayed for 3 days while performing at a Music festival. staff very friendly, professional and helpful even making us cups of tea at 4am and providing tools to fix our broken equipment. Good value for money rooms and breakfast buffet worth the money. Rooms themselves were fine, you know what to expect if you have been with Ibis

Extremely good service

We stayed for a few nights in this hotel and enjoyed the consistently superb and friendly service, offering e.g. good advice on places to eat in town. It should be mentioned that even though the hotel is on the outskirts of the town, bus connections make it very easy to reach the centre within 10 minutes, throughout the day.

Good clean accomodation

The hotel had lovely very helpful staff - quite easy to get to by bus but really suits those who have a car . A bit too far out of town to go back into town for a meal... Set menu was good for the evening meal.Staff were very friendly

Some great points some not so good

The hotel is located on the outskirts of town so getting around is not easy, unless you are taking taxis. The hotel is quite basic and the rooms are also basic. Having said that the restaurant was excellent and the food was amazing. In fact I was confused because I couldn't help feel the restaurant was so much better than the hotel.

Weekend stay

The hotel is on the outskirts of town in an industrial area and was a 10 euro taxi ride from Tilburg train station. The free car parking was good, as was the free wifi in public areas of the hotel, but I was disappointed to have to pay for in room wifi. Our room was small, but clean and the bar/restaurant area was fine for a quick drink/meal. We were accidentally charged by both hotels.com and the hotel, but this was rectified quickly once I spotted the error. Overall it was what we expected and we were happy with our stay

Modern eingerichtete Zimmer

Ich war eine Woche auf Geschäftsreise im Ibis Hotel. Die Zimmer sind zwar recht klein, aber modern hergerichtet und mit allem was man so benötigt ausgestattet und sauber. Das Personal war immer extrem hilfsbereit und bemüht. Gerne komme ich wieder.

We were looking for comfort and not to expensive, with breakfast and this was a good choice! Nothing fancy, but a good bed, shower and breakfast.

Das Hotelpersonal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Goed ontbijt, nette, schone kamer. Het personeel was vriendelijk. Ook goed service punt dat je er fietsen kan huren, gratis via een app. Jammer dat er betaald parkeren was, terwijl het hotel aan de buitenkant van Tilburg ligt Restaurant ietwat gedateerd met vrij luide muziek.

Unterkunft war gut. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück hervorragend

Sengene var ikke gode, da madrasserne gled fra hinanden. Der manglede en mappe eller lignende med diverse oplysninger. Parkeringen var dyrt 7,5 Euro pr døgn når parkeringspladsen tilhører hotellet

God overnatning på fornuftig pris

Meget god oplevelse vedr. overnatning og morgenmad. Hotellet ligger tæt på motorvejen. Til aftensmad kan man få kun pizza fra køleskabet.

Lokatie maar de prijs is er ook naar. Verder net en goed hotel vriendelijk personeel
