Very feiwnsly and helpful staff and neat and clean accommodation
Receptionist wasn’t friendly and welcoming, ordered rooms with 2 beds and none available, first room offered stank disgusting and breakfast was mediocre.. parking was available at a cost of approx €15. Offered alternative room when complained. Please DO NOT stay here, you will be disappointed. Fortunately one night and was late when arrived.
hot water in rooom
Hotel room need to have hot water boiler as basic..
The sera was quiet so a good night sleep was always possible. I chose this particular property because of its restaurant. However the restaurant was closed for the duration of my stay - information omitted at the time of booking. Disappointing.
A perfect location for city centre access without the hustle and bustle next to the motorway but not detracting and a lovely view of the Rhône in warm and friendly surroundings.
We liked the hotel it was clean and staff are pleasant
Nice, clean and comfy.
The hotel was fine apart from a terrible smell of sewage on the 7th floor where our room was located. Staff knew about but said they could not do anything or knew the cause. As the hotel was full they could not move is to another room. We checked other floors and there was no smell.
No safe in room available. Corridor and room smelled unpleasant of cabbage similar smell for most of the trip. Beds were really comfortable.
Average room, but fantastic breakfast
The hotel is a good basic hotel. We booked a room that included breakfast, which we were pleasantly surprised by. They had a wonderful spread of fresh foods including breads, fruits, compotes, cheeses, meats, coffee and freshly squeezed juice. The room is very basic. They do not supply much other than soap, toilet paper, and towels. (Don't forget your toiletries.) But the beds were fine and things were clean.
Great hotel for an overnight stay. Clean, comfortable, and staff was very friendly. We had twi connecting rooms for the family, which were separated by a shared entranced. Roomy and more than sufficient for the 4 of us. Breakfast was ok, but the to go coffee cups were definitely a plus once we got back on the road. I cannot comment on the location (closeness to town center) because we used it as an overnight stop on the way to Cannes. Easy to find off the freeway, and easy to get back on. Parking in the garage ($). Would stay again. :)
quick visit
close to cbd and shopping complex. can walk to these areas in 20 min. limited restaurants in under 10 min walk. room has been updated and more work happening on hotel.
Great hotel but the area is not the best
Lovely long weekend in Lyon
Hotel was lovely. Very clean and spacious room, wonderful welcoming staff and a delicious breakfast. The area is full of interesting bars and about 20-30mins walk around from most of the tourist areas. Would stay here again!
Convenient hotel
Centrally located, clean but very small room
Nice hotel
Nice hotel, but car park is very narrow to park. Clean and comfortable.
Ibis - will highly recommend you.
Very comfortable. Clean room. Receptionist was very helpful. Always smiling.
Lyon
Good stay, hotel was convenient to main train station, clean and very friendly staff. Location in a run down part of town.
small but comfortable
It really was an excellent value. The breakfast was good, and though the rooms were small, they were clean. Didn't love this part of town at all, and couldn't get the room cooled down. Thermostat didn't change anything, and when we opened a window it was too noisy to sleep.
Accessible and affordable
This bright, clean, modern hotel is easily and quickly accessible by public transport from the city centre. Tea and coffee are available all day free in the lobby and the breakfast is substantial and timed to suit both business and leisure travelers. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though not large.
Nice and pleasant hotel.
My wife and I visited our daughter, who study French in Lyon.
Nice hotel, good central location
We had a lovely stay, the staff were very helpful and out was good value for money. Perfect for a family with the adjoining rooms, lots of space.
Not a great place for a getaway but close enough to stations
Lyon on Sunday night
1 night in Lyon for vacation. The breakfast finished too early, on 10:00 am. The location is not so good
A fantastic hotel we used it as a overnight stay on way to the south. A great location easy to get to but not the best of neighbourhoods at night. Hotel staff very helpful, great free breakfast and very fast wifi
Seedy area.
Long long walk from areas of interest. Didn't feel safe in the area.Prostitutes on street corners. Men urinating in the street in front of my wife whilst calling out for her to have a look at what they had got. Good job we didn't have children with us. Tired hotel room, paint peeling off or back of bathroom door would not stay there again.
Great for a stop over
Stayed here en route to italy. I have to say it was just right. The hotel was reasonable easy to find good secure underground parking although at a charge the room was clean and tidy with a view out the back better than the road at the front. The bar was very good with excellent staff.. The restaurant was closed for dinner so had to go out but many restaurants nearby incl mcDs i would recommend this for a stopover if travelling south
Stayed in November - hotel quite lively and bustling. Attractive bar and pleasantly busy restaurant. Room was compact but quite adequate for a short stay. Surroundings are a bit run down but a metro station to take you to the centre is a short walk away.
tidy and clean room
the hotel is located near one of the train station. However, most trains included the airport express depart from the other one(Part Dieu). It takes us 10min to the Part Dieu by train and almost half an hour by tram. Tram is a good choice to travel around the city. you may find a stop near the hotel. We enjoyed a good river view from the room.
Good value
Simple small clean and good location took 15 minutes to walk to the main area. Nice walk. Bit shady area at night but other than that it was great. Parking was very tight and was okay price wise 10€.
Close to station
Reasonable hotel. We were unfortunately inconvenienced by the lack of ai-conditioning (indicated on website) due to construction to hotel. Will not recommend staying there untill construction is visit.
ups and downs
The Kyriad would have been perfect if (1) there had actually been air conditioning as advertised and (2) the neighborhood was a little nicer. That being said, the price was right. We also probably could have had air conditioning, which we found out on our last day - the third floor was under construction and I think they were renovating, and that we were below the renovations. In retrospect, we should have asked to move rooms since AC was advertised. The rooms were clean and just the right size. It was a quick walk to Gare Perrache, but longer for any real Lyonnaise food. The breakfast buffet is AWESOME. Not too expensive and way more food than you are going to get anywhere else. Also, you can dine in their little courtyard garden, which was nice. I would probably stay here again, but would want AC in the summer!
Solid good value hotel
This is a good value hotel, it was clean, and easy to get into the centre of lyon either by tram, train or by walking and had off street parking for an ok amount. Some people have raised concerns about being near the red light district, but you can just get a taxi at night if you have issues with this & you don't have to walk through the area to get to the hotel. Room had a kettle and so able to make a cup of tea! Breakfast was good value under €10 with a full buffet including cereal, tea, coffee, breads, pastries, meats, boiled eggs and the breakfast room had a film theme. Window in the room (which was quite small but I had the cheapest rate) opened with a view out over a garden, it was very quiet and I will stay here again when I am in Lyon.
Good value
I arrived in Lyon by train. Came out the wrong entrance, so was difficult to find initially. But if you come out correct exit hotel is signposted and easy 10min walk. Staff good. Room had everything I needed as well as a view over the Rhone and easy walking distance to all main Lyon sights and shops.
Cosy mattress in an uncomfortable neighbourhood
Lyon is crossed by two rivers, running north to south and meeting just below the city, thus forming the Presqu'île - literally, the "almost an island". This, in turn, is cut across by the enormous complex of the train station with adjoining car park and coach/bus station. Main train stations are often dodgy places, and Lyon Perrache station is no exception. I have travelled a bit and don't often feel unsafe, but I whenever I had to cross the station after dark. The hotel is located south of the station, which means that, to visit the city, you have to cross the train station on foot; if you're planning on using the underground, the nearest station is also in Perrache, so you can't really avoid it. The hotel itself is quite reasonable for the price, though the common areas on the ground floor have been more carefully refurbished than at least some of the rooms. We stayed on the 7th floor, facing the river Rhône. The rooms on this side were tiny (even by European standards), and the bed - which indeed was very comfortable - filled it so that you barely could go around it. I noticed that the rooms on the other side of the corridor were more spacious, but probably had no view to speak of. The bathroom was functional and clean, and had been recently refurbished. There was a kettle and complimentary tea and coffee. The windows were efficiently soundproof, which is something to be thankful for, as there is a busy highway running along the river from the station area. The hotel staff were friendly and helpfu. We didn't try breakfast, as € 8,5 per person seemed too much for our appetites. On the whole, I wouldn't recommend the area of Lyon Perrache for your visit, especially because of the station issue. However, if you don't have a problem with that, or if you're driving, this may be a good spot. Considering the price, Kyrriad Lyon Perrache can be a good solution for you. And you're not far from Brasserie Georges, which definitely is a must-go!
“Small rooms but clean and relatively central”
This was the best value hotel we found for our recent stay in Lyon. Rooms were small but clean. Seems to be part of a budget chain in France. Location was fairly central - the only 'issue' was that while it is situated on the south of Presqu'ile (central area) it could be quite confusing getting to the north of Presqu'ile due to the mass of motorways & train lines crossing the Presqu'ile forming an almost impenetrable Berlin Wall. The easiest way was to go through the Perrache train station which may not appeal to all, especially at night.
Hotel Kyriad Lyon Perrache Confluence
We were only here for one night but the hotel was very comfortable and cosy. It was very straight forward on how to find the hotel from the train station as it was all sign posted. Restaurants are very near. We wished we had more time here but unfortunately we couldn't.
The air-conditioning didn't work overly well but the hotel was clean and the staff helpful. Located a fair walk from the city centre.
Hotel Kyriad Lyon Perrache Confluence 24 Quai Perr
My experience at the Hotel was great and excellent.....the only hotel that offers free self service coffee right in the room. The location is exceptionally perfect for a walk around Lyon city.
The Hotel Kyriad Lyon
Great hotel for what we wanted which was an overnight stay before going back to airport. Short walk to some lovely restaurants etc. Would go back and stay at this hotel and stay longer to enjoy the area more.
Hotel Kyriad Lyon Perrache Confluence
Well equipped hotel room, drinks, kettle... except lack of a fridge. The room is very small, probably just enough to open up one luggage bag. Very clean bathroom but the basin is too small.
Bon sejour, a recommander
Sadece neden odalarda tek kullanımlık terlikler yoktu anlayamadim….
Expensive and not overwhelming
The Hotel ich quite expensive (156€) per night. Breakfast is not very rich and each day exactly the same (I’d been three days there) I stayed in room 617 which was small compared to a lot of other hotels of same level. Windows could be opened but as there is a 6 lane street directly infront of the house you better keep the windows shut and rely on the aircon instead.
Week-end lyon
Tres bien . Bonne accueil .
Conforme a mes, attentes. Parfait.

I was charged an incorrect amount (twice!), and Ibis took a long time to answer me.
