Amazing hotel

The hotel is a ten minute tram ride away from the central train station. Tram 18 towards Palettes it's just to the right as you exit the station. The hotel itself was lovely and the rooms were warm clean and the staff were amazing. Breakfast that's included in the price was fabulous. If you have any doubts about booking please don't it's great.

Room with decent size for two, spotlessly clean. Staff very kind and ready to help. Next to two tram lines direct to downtown. Overall very pleased.

Great for Overnight stay

The hotel is modest-priced . The free, self-serve breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of breads, chèeses, cereals, breakfast meats, etc. The rooms are spare with no drawers or significcant space to park your clothes. The bed is very comfortable. The shower is excellent.

Restaurant/Bar open till 10 pm. Amazing quality foods offered. Free and Huge Breakfast selection. Very comfortable and welcoming. The hotel is a vacation on its own. Only regret we booked only 1 night. So planning for next year!!

Modern comfortable, they have considered verything you need. Breakfast was very good.

Very clean, modern, and nice hotel. The breakfast was great. Only downsides are that the AC doesn’t get that cold (but it was still ok) and the parking garage gets full quickly (but there are some paid parking options close by).

Good service, but noise

The hotel is in a modern building, fun decoration and offers a very good breakfast. The location is excellent you can either stroll to the area of Carouge where they have nice boutiques and groceries, or you can take the Tram. To my surprise, the hotel provides you with free public transportation for the duration of your stay. CONS: Not sure why if the building is relatively new, you hear very loud, the people walking, even when you walk you can hear the noise you are making. I believe the carpeting on all the rooms are very thin and with no soundproofing underlayment. I believe they should fix that because it's very annoying.

Really enjoyed staying here. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Great choice at breakfast and tram stop just outside straight into the city centre.

The room I stayed in was very clean and the location of the hotel is excellent, in a lovely quaint and calm part of town, only 20 mins from the centre of Geneva. The daily breakfast was great. Would highly recommend it. Parking is available for a small fee right at the hotel in their secure underground car park.

Spring Joy in Geneva

Great hotel in quite Carouge. Breakfast was excellent, even offered freshly squeezed orange juice The tram stop is conveniently located outside of the hotel (trams #12 and 18). We loved the window sitting area in the room and enjoyed strolling the lovely streets whenever we had the time in the evening and morning. Many restaurants in 5 -10 minutes of walking distance.

Not good

Room are modern but too hot and no way to reduce the temperature hence an uncomfortable stay. The lift also broke and was trapped as no one in reception noticed the alarm.

The lobby adorned with cartoon art, graphic novel pages, classic antique figurines, and shelves of books. Children’s comics, hard-boiled adventure, and adult novels from the historic to the sensational. Incomparable welcome from the staff, morning breakfast and late night drinks. Quiet, clean, and comically convenient to the 12 and 18.

Disappointing stay. It would have been a lot less stressful if the staff had been more friendly. They were late with the check in of the rooms, and we weren't the only ones, there were many guests in the reception who still hadn't been able to get the room until 4 pm. This is really frustrating. However I can understand that there are delays and accept it, unfortunately Miss Z. at the reception treated us very badly, with contempt and without giving us an explanation of the delay. I’m sorry for all the other staff as it was evident that they cared and tried to make us comfortable, however I don’t accept this type of behavior. Too bad because the hotel deserves it, for being a 3 star it is really very nice and the rooms modern, even if a little bit of dust. The breakfast very well stocked! For the rest I don't think I'll ever go back.

Like- location, free( get the pass from hotel ) tram and bus on doorstep. Supermarket and mini mall walking distance. Hotel -clean, friendly staff, good breakfast. Dislikes- none Anything else- try the burger/ pizza and bar opposite the hotel. The pizza’s are excellent. Drinks are cheaper than hotels.

My husband and I thought the hotel was exceptionally clean. The staff were friendly snd attentive. It was well priced. We would absolutely go back again. It was unique with all the paintings on the wall of different famous comic artists. Bottom line NO complaints and enjoyable stay.

I went with my dog, they were very friendly and nice. the location was great, it is at the art district, next to the hotel is a park which is very dog friendly. The hotel takes 13 mins by public transportation, hotel provides GENEVA public transportation card, guests are free to go anywhere.

Absolutely loved it

The decor here is so cute – all devoted to swiss/european comic book artists, and all very tastefully done. It doesn't feel childish, but at the same time, it's a very family-friendly place. Each of the floors is devoted to a specific artists, and their work lines the hallways and interior of the rooms. All the staff was polite and helpful. Awesome location (in the heart of the storybook village of Carouge). Literally across the street from multiple trams to take you wherever you want to go. Such a lovely place to come back to at the end of the day. Beds super comfy too. Great breakfast. Nice outdoor space/seating area/patio. Really glad I found this place!

Everything was perfec, venue, locale, ease of transport to city centre.

The breakfast was excellent. The room had no dressers and very limited space for clothes.

Very nice hotel close to Geneva airport

We took 2 rooms in the Ibis Styles Carouge prior to an early flight from Geneva airport. The hotel was spotlessly clean with large comfortable rooms, modern bathrooms, free WiFi and a good varied breakfast buffet. Check in was a little cumbersome after a long day and the room would have benefited from tea and coffee making facilities but these are minor points. The airport is a 15-20 drive away so this is very convenient if you have an early flight.

Everything good, just make sure to book parking in advance, if you need it, they only have 20 spots in the garage. Great breakfast, they even have a fresh pancake machine, which was great...

New, clean, cool & youthful property with quite spacious room. No tea pot, cups, refrigerator, no amenities in the room. Not fancy but great breakfast. Milk, cheese, butter, bread, eggs- all yummy. (Even tiny poor looking sandwiches sold at the cafe is super good.) Great public transportation. Many restaurants to walk to. Close by kiosk & supermarket. In fact, best Ibis experience ever.

Very unique, rooms are much bigger than other Geneva standard hotels. Staff are very nice. Common areas spacious, and a cute drawing corner with colour pens. Enjoy having a great dinner at a local restaurant and enjoy walking through a local market on Saturday morning.

It was an excellent stay. We got a free transport pass for the whole of our stay which was very helpful.

Original, pricey for a no frills hotel, but really

Very pricey for an Ibis hotel, especially far from the town center and the lake. However, the Carouge area is very special and one doesn’t come here by accident. Each floor has been given to a local artist to decorate. All rooms are different. It is very new and good quality construction. No frills and the breakfast/common room feels like a coworking space ...which it is for some of the guests.

We did not stay at this hotel as planned. When we arrived we were told that our reservation had been cancelled earlier that day: that our credit card was declined and that Orbitz should have contacted us to. There is no evidence that there was an attempted charge and Orbitz did not contact us. However, the hotel staff did find another Ibis with a room available and booked it for us. Although it was more expensive and breakfast was not included it was closer to central Geneve.

Excellent reasonable priced hotel

The hotel is new, and the rooms are quiet, with fairly barebone room - small area to work, simple bathroom, no cupboard - but the design is excellent, the room is comfortable, and the service in the hotel and the breakfast are very good.

Great hotel. Its an Ibis so a bit bare bones - no closet, open shelves, plastic cups in the bathroom etc. Though they did not compromise on the bed which was super comfortable. Also, the buffet breakfast was top notch, and even a complimentary public transport card for the duration of the stay, and with the tram stop right outside who could ask for more. The soundproofing was remarkable, so no disturbances. Carouge has lots of character.

Conveniently Located on the Bus Route for CERN

This hotel was not cheap, but it was more affordable than other hotels in the area. It was located near a bus stop that went to CERN. Breakfast was good.They gave us free bus passes and had luggage storage available. Overall, we were happy with our stay.

Nice hotel, a bit odd and not conventional. Don't by the bar snack they are really expensive but drink is reasonable. No restaurant at night and continental break is okay.

Ondanks de basic uitrusting is Ibis styles een keurige en betaalbare optie. Prima ontbijt, rustige kamer en OV voor de deur met snelle verbindng van 10 min naar het centrum. Leuke wijk met restaurants en boutique winkels op loopafstand.

Le personnel est accueillant et aimable. L’hôtel est très bien desservi par les transports en commun. La décoration est originale (BD, tintin). Le petit déjeuner est bon, qui manque un peu de diversité.

Hotel et chambre joliment décorés sur le thème des bandes dessinées! La chambre etait confortable, propre et très calme. Le personnel est serviable, et le petit-déjeuner copieux et très bon. L hôtel est idéalement situé face à l arrêt de tram, qui est très bien désservi, on accède rapidement au centre-ville.

We loved everything about this hotel, the atmosphere was amazing it was very easy to access the city centre, to Annecy, and the mountains. Breakfast was all we needed, we had a wonderful view from the room. The area was so nice, beautiful houses and nice eating places. We just loved our 4 days stay, and will choose the same hotel an other time

Séjour OK, service, accueil classique Ibis. Chambre très impersonnelle et pas de quoi se faire un café en chambre. Lit confortable et chambre propre !Petit déjeuner très moyen pour le prix (produits industriels, peu de choix en salé...)

Je n'ai pas visité le quartier qui mériterait une découverte. Ce n'est pas loin du centre de Genève en tram. A pied faisable. Billets de transport en commun fourni avec la resa. Le réseau de transports en communs est très efficace. Chambre au calme même sur route. Spacieuse. Bon petit déjeuner. Tarifs bar resto de l'hôtel très corrects. Jai même eu le temps d'y lire une des bd à dispo. La déco est vraiment sympa et le personnel très accueillant. Je recommande.

Excellent location to take tram to central Geneva or to walk to Carouge centre. When you want to have fresh air in the room you get the constant noise from trams, cars and other traffic.

Hotel in interessante Quartier Carouge

Einziges Unzufriedenheit war, dass mein Zimmer total gereinigt wurde trotz Abmachung(NICHT REINIGEN). Nur einmal gebrauchte Seife, Towels sind erneuert, dazu meine persönliche kleine Sache sind nicht mehr da. Dies waren nicht wertvoll, trotzdem wollte noch behalten:( Sonst war das Hotel fast perfekt.

La atención es excelente, muy confortable el lugar y los accesos a transporte son geniales, enfrente dos líneas de tranvías y también buses alrededor, experiencia genial y el personal y su trato espectacular.

Nicely located hotel outside of city center

The hotel is outside of the city center area as it is in Carouge but if that center location isn't a must then this hotel is good. Carouge area is nice and both tram and bus stop right next to the hotel is easy to get to the city center. The hotel is also interestingly art themed which is something at least I haven't seen before. Well maintained and clean room, lobby and breakfast/bar areas with very friendly and helpful staff. The cushioned window seating was also really nice touch to sit and relax while reading or using laptop before going to sleep. A downside I came across which lowered my rating some was the warmth of the room as the AC seemed to be centrally operated instead so could not individually lower room temperature. Was not overly warm though but more like under the blanket it was too warm without blanket it was a bit too chilly.

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut.

It would be nice if luggage could be stored at the hotel after checkout, for the remainder of the day. Everything else was great, as always.
