Great stay

Great stay. Gym is small but ok if you’re just there for a few days. 5 mins from the metro, coffee shop down the road and a supermarket a couple of minutes away. Fridge in room and a free drink on arrival. Thanks for a great stay!!

Très bon service à l’accueil. Nous sommes arrivés vers 10h30 le matin le nettoyage de notre chambre a été fait en priorité. On nous a offert un surclassement. Déjeuner chaud très complet. Un endroit situé près des arrêts de bus.

It was clean, modern and the staff were very helpful!

Property looked quite dismal when compared to the photos you provided. No shampoo. Our room had one chair and a small pink bench. After requesting an additional chair two times, we finally received a metal chair. Wi Fi is advertised as available in all rooms. The only Wi Fi that was available was down stairs in the lobby area. If we wanted to utilize this “enhanced” feature, we had to go to the hotel lobby. Also, they did not provide wash cloths for bathing.

Friendly staff, comfortable bed. Decent Breakfast. Location isn’t the most central or picturesque but it’s safe and there are a few restaurants close by.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was near the Acropolis and other sites. The metro was also nearby which meant that I could catch the earliest train to the airport.

Nice breakfast buffet offered with a wide variety of choices. Staff was helpful and accommodating. Property was clean and well tended to.

The area is walkable to many things. It’s clean inside Very plain but a good value.

It was a great hotel except for the strong smell of pinesol cleaner in my room. It was burning my eyes all night long!! Then at one point someone in the room next to me must have smoked a cigarette and the smell was in my room too!! Also you should be careful of the shower because it has half a glass pane so all of the water comes out in the floor. This poses a safety hazard!!

The hotel is all new and lovely. The staff was amazing. I really loved the handicapped room’s big bathroom and handrails in the shower. I fell on my trip and broke a rib, so this made my stay so much safer for me. There is a nice Italian restaurant just around the corner. The only problem is that it is very noisy on a main road and there is nothing around. The neighborhood is run down and not pleasant to walk around, although we felt safe. We took a taxi everywhere, so it was not a problem for us. I met the manager in the elevator and he introduced himself and asked how our stay was. Very friendly. Oh… the breakfast is well worth the $10.00 extra Euros! Lots of variety and very good!

Not worth the price

The hotel is far from the city center. The room was large and spacious. Good parking for the car. In the rooms next to the road - disturbing noise from the cars and motorcycles. We asked to change rooms - there was no replacement. Reasonable breakfast.

Overall was okay, breakfast is good, some staff is very friendly, clean is not their forté , they DONT have 2 bed sheets, the bed smelled kind of bad, coffee in the room was not refilled.

Typical ibis styles

This is a relatively new hotel, typical ibis styles, maybe some things could be better maintained (this can be seen, for example, in the bathroom).

Nice hotel. Not in the closest vicinity to the main attractions and areas to visit. However, it was excellent value, clean, decent standard and the staff were excellent.

The room was pretty and clean, the beds were comfortable, there was bottled water in the fridge. Towels and toiletries were in the bathroom, as expected. There were no complimentary toiletries though. The hotel was nice and welcoming, there was free water at the property's entrance. Breakfast was also good with an acceptable selection of options, although this could be improved. I'm not sure it was a four star hotel. Not much can be done about the slightly worse for wear location but at least there were bus stops and a metro station nearby, which was only a few stops from the city centre. There were also a few eateries about. On the whole, a pleasant few days.

Buget friendly hotel

Great hotel, comfortable and modern. It is located about 20-minute walk from the Acropolis. That means by car you will be in the touristic area in 10 minutes. The staff was helpful and nice, in particular Erica, such a lovely girl. The rooms are modern and clean.

Modern hotel, friendly staff, clean , decent facilities, spacious bathroom , just a few minutes from tube station, and if getting breakfast it had a varied range of items to choose from.

A Budget Hotel that is situated away from the hustle and bustle of tourists' hot spots, with cheerful, brightly colored dining/lounge areas, with well appointed, good size rooms, and fronted by helpful and friendly staff.

Room for improvement but overall really good!

Great breakfast, comfy bed, huge bathroom with great shower, good air conditioning. Wasn’t as clean as it could be, but was pretty good. Grime in tiles in shower and a few other spots of dirt. Expensive and service could be a bit friendlier, but overall a comfortable stay.

Doesn't Meet the Ibis Styles Standard

Stayed here for three nights after a cruise. Usually I really enjoy Ibis Styles property. This property in Athens though was a drastic letdown compared to properties I stayed at recently in Dubai, Bangkok, and Istanbul. There is no restaurant for lunch and dinner; additionally there is no laundry service. Those are services offered by other Ibis Styles properties. Very poor. Most disturbingly, my girlfriend had an early flight back to Mexico. We were getting her a taxi at 5am and the night auditor came rushing out the door, :"are you checking out", "are you checking out?" He proceeded to talk over me while I was speaking to Janet about her flight. The lack of manners and decorum is disgraceful. It's one of the strangest things I've had happen at a hotel ever. When I came back in the hotel, the same night auditor would not provide the email address for the general manager. I am contacting the CEO of Accor directly to ensure this employee is dealt with.

The Ibis hotel in Athens is simply fantastic! It's conveniently situated just a 30-minute walk away from the heart of Athens and only a few minutes' walk to the metro, which takes you directly to the center within 2-3 stations. The hotel is surrounded by charming cafes and has a convenient parking space located below the building. The staff at the hotel are exceptional, and Erika in particular, went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you, Erika, for being such a valuable asset to the hotel and making my stay unforgettable!

Amazing stay. Nice staff. Kind and happy

I recomend this hotel. They have great staff. I arrived at 3am and made a last minute reservation a couple hours before due to a late night flight. Expedia did not send over the info regarding my reservation, but the front desk staff helped to figure out the issue quickly. They were very kind. The hotel itself is not in the nicest looking neighborhood, but felt pretty safe. The garage is worth the extra 5 euros/night if you need a place for a car like I did. The room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Some road noise if you have a room on the side of the building next to the road, but not too bad.

A fair hotel 350 m from the nearest metro station with parking garage. About half an hour walk from the Acropolis.

Liked it I lot but didn’t love it.

I enjoyed my stay. Great customer service, clean and modern room. It would have been perfect, but there was a smell of mildew coming from the bathroom, leading me to believe there is a mold problem somewhere behind the walls even though it was spotless. Breakfast in the morning was ok, not worth the 7-10 dollars they charge. They also charge 30 euros for a late checkout which I think is insane.

Warm welcome from Erika and this hotel meets or exceeds the typical mid range hotel franchises operated in USA. During the middle of the night, our room lost electricity as a breaker must have tripped but likely temp was nether too hot or cold during that incident. Beds were more plush than firm. Towels are fluffy and aromatically fresh and clean. Breakfast was very nice with a nice hot selectable beverage dispenser. All the staff were hospitable and genuinely friendly. I would return and seek this hotel even though the main street is busy and depending on room location will hear the traffic.

Everything was ok

Not necessarily in order. The car park. Very friendly staff. Especially the breakfast staff were very polite and obliging. The layout and functionality of the whole site was well planed out. One negative: you can’t seem to design a shower that doesn’t flood the floor outside the shower.

It was good staying thia hotel. Crews are very friendly and helpful. We even found 24/7 mini restaurant near by, as we back to thw hotwl at Midnight, which was a great plus for us.

Ideal location. 20 mins walk to city center / acropolis. Breakfast is ok. Property is modern / recently renovated. Parking is tricky as it is behind the hotel and due to 1 way road, you need to cross the hotel and go around it and then use the alley way around Agean petrol pump to find the 2 elevator which takes you to underground parking. The hotel staff didn't mention this and we went round and round searching for the parking.

This was a very good hotel for the money. My only complaints were that the air conditioner in the room could not go below 23 degrees Celsius, and the bathroom door was impossible to fully open or close without having to stand in the shower.

The property is very well located, is very clean, has a great staff and a very nice breakfast available for purchase.

The reception desk staff were extremely professional and helpful. The breakfast area team did an outstanding job, as well. Five-star service and nice, clean rooms for a great rate can't be beat.

The Hotel is located on a main road which is very busy, not much around in that area. Very Clean building, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and the room was very comfortable. I would suggest however looking for a hotel slightly more central as it was a 20 minute walk to get to the acropolis area on quite a run down and busy road up and down hills.

The hotel itself is nice. Maybe only our room was in the bad condition. It was hard to use hangers for towels and toilet paper as they were lousy. Maybe someone has broken them and it wasn’t repaired. It was inconvenient to close door in bathroom. As it opens right into the bathroom. Cleaning was made every day. All towels were changed during cleaning. Breakfast is good enough for 6 euro. There are tasty Greek sweets. We tried to have breakfast somewhere outside - seems that places with food (not snacks) open only after 12. There is free luggage storage for guests, so if you come when your room is not ready you can leave luggage and go for walk.

Very clean, ultramodern hotel. Nice breakfast buffet. Not really in the main tourist area, so lots of auto repair shops and home renovation shops etc. A 20 minute walk to the central tourist spots (1km). Several food options, grocery stores within blocks

Very clean and new hotel in Athens. We arrived late and was allowed to park our rental car in front of the Hotel - which was very nice. Breakfast also good and clean. Very friendly staff. Generally very good value for money.

I loved this hotel. It was the closest hotel to an "American style" hotel. Fluffy comforters, big shower, clean towels, a fridge, TV. It was everything I needed and it was so comfortable.

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The standard room is good for one or two people with a nice bed and bathroom. Breakfast is a choice of oatmeal, toast, croissants, boiled eggs, omelette bites, fruit, juice and coffee-a reasonable 6 euros for the amount of food. The gym is small but you can get a good cardio workout. The hotel is close to two metro stations- around a 10 minute walk. There are two grocery store within walking distance. Overall, very pleased and glad I stayed here.

Although the hotel is not in the 'greatest' area of Athens, it is in a great area.... by that I mean it is close enough to walk to the central part of Athens, if you want (we did) and is very close to the Metro. (about 3 blocks away). The room we had was clean, new, with a comfortable bed, safe, and larger bathroom with walk in shower. The staff (Theodora, Anna(?) and others) were very helpful and friendly. We were able to speak with them and they gave us excellent suggestions of which islands to ferry hop to! I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Just ask for a room opposite side of the street... we didn't hear a thing. I would stay there again.

Friendly hotel ❤️

Friendly and helpful personal, good food, clean rooms. Hotel located near the metro which makes your travel easier, and also very close to the Acropolis where you can go by walking. The only thing I would say, it’s not the place for calmness seekers as it’s on the very busy road and the traffic noises will follow you during your whole stay.

Great location, comfortable room, great staff, very comfy bed, lovely breakfast. Only minor complaint is that the coffee in the room was rarely replaced.

It was a very pleasant stay. My interaction with the receptionist was extremely nice. The room was clean... everything you want for a one-night stay.

Good but…..

Pros - Central location. Fairly basic. Reasonable value. Clean. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Good shower. Cons- The curtains let too much light in to the room. They need a side pelmet. Emergency exit light always on, a/c light on TV light on. It’s never really dark! The pillows are uncomfortable.

what's not to like?

I have never been to a hotel where I felt as much friendliness from the entire staff. Young and professional, they helped me with everything from getting my pre-flight COVID test to dealing with the 2-factor authentication some web sites require. And of course they knew where all the tourist sights are. The breakfast was great too. Being a short walk from a Metro that was just a few stops from the Acropolis, I got proximity to where I wanted to go coupled with the charm of a typical Athens neighborhood.
