Room was OK for the price. A bit on the small side. All necessities are there. Room is clean. Parking garage was hard to find but there is a discount for hotel guests. Don't bother with the breakfast. The ReWe beside the hotel has pretty much everything this hotel offers at a cheaper price. Limited choice of food and food tastes as if it has been cooked a few hours prior. No one was eating there so I guess that explains why.

We really enjoyed staying the night in Ibis. The staff was really friendly and helped us when needed. The room was pleasing, all things necessary were there, everything was ok :) nice streets around the hotel within a walkable distance to restaurants and bars. Great parking options underground for a fair price.

I have stayed a few times here. Its always Clean, easy, and very affordable. Great value for the price.

Property was excellent staff friendly and helpful always with a smile.. The worst thing about trip is booking through Expedia. I would recommend booking directly through the hotel.

Typical Ibis - decent value for money but after a long way walking around the city, the room just wasn’t a comfortable place to be. The seating and flooring are hard. The bed wasn’t comfortable. I did not use breakfast facilities. If it was only for one night, I think it would be ok. It’s very close to U-Bahn station to access the rest of the city and there were a couple of cafes and supermarkets nearby but no nice bars.

Did not really explore to much of this property. I needed a bed following flight cancellations and this was a great place under the circumstances. Staff was friendly and very helpful. €30 approximately for taxi to airport.

Location is great but the hotel is a bit run down. Clean bedsheets and towels though. Breakfast is average, will be good if there are more hot food, perhaps it’s due to New Year’s Day, lack of staff in kitchen...

Smelly bathroom but comfy bed

The hotel bathroom itself smells like urine. The curtains are not wide enough to block out light. They told me I couldn’t check in til 3 . I saw a man come in and they let him check in right away.

Great for a business trip. Not much offered in the room but perfect for a quick visit - especially for business travelers.

It is an OK hotel for spending the weekend, not expect too much, but is fine, also is well located.

The location is pretty good and supermarket just a stone throw away. Appreciate the early check-in as well. However, while i was having my nap after a night flight, cleaning personnel came in. Other than that, stay was good. However, expedia charged a rate much higher than i would book direct with ibis. Please chcek before booking with expedia.

Great basic hotel for a fair price. We’ve stayed at Ibis in other countries, and this is consistent with our expectations. The staff was great. Breakfast selection was excellent. Location was a bit farther from Center than I expected, but it was an easy walk.

Clean and good WiFi. Reasonably well located. 30 minute walk from the central train station. U-Bahn station at your doorstep. Two supermarkets within a 2 minute walk is really nice. The staff are excellent and very, very helpful. It would have been nice to have coffee/tea in the room.

We choose this for 7 adults, looking for value for money - certainly was. Also great location in a Square with access to the underground and light rail, and buses. Nice eating / drinking places too. The breakfast was continental, incl. hot scrambled eggs, english bacon, cold meats, croissants, tea / coffee fruit juices - wide selection for 11euros. Staff really helpful and spoke good English. Free PC in foyer. Free wifi in room. Decent bar to have a night cap in. Great shower, comfy double bed, quiet room even though street side

It was expensive compared to all the other hotels I have stayed in in Germany and not as nice.

The hotel was easy to get to from the bus or metro, & an easy 20 minute walk from downtown. It was a nice, compact room perfect for one person.

Great Location in Stuttgart

I had no problem with iBis Centrum Stuttgart SUD area. My room was large, very comfortable, the staff was great and seemed to care about their hotel guests. My room was very clean, it did not have a refrigerator which I thought should be provided. Over all it was super!

Comfortable hotel close to good transport links. Good selection of restaurants supermarkets and shopping centre. Local brewery has excellent restaurant and bar which is a 5 minute walk from hotel.

Rude Check In Host

Showed up 40 minutes early and the Rude Check In Host tried to hold us hostage by trying to collect 15 euros for an early check in (go screw yourself!!) Then on day 2 the water was turned off all day, no shower, couldn't flush toilet, nothing!

Good basic hotel downtown

I had a room on the 4th floor facing the back (you definitely don't want to face the busy street). The bed is comfortable with good linens, the bathroom adequate (shower only). No wash cloths for some reason -- they don't have them. Some rooms have a desk-type arrangement, some just a high bench. Modernish (clean) design. Look for a room in the "20s" (to the right of the elevator as you exit) to avoid the delivery dock of the grocery store on the next corner (very loud very early in the morning). Staff were polite and helpful. Ibis considers this their "higher" brand, but by US standards it is definitely moderate. Good value for the money given the downtown location. You can walk to the main shopping district in about 15 mins (or take public transit), and to a large park in about 20. The square on which the hotel is located has a small playground and some eateries with outdoor seating, but for a nature lover like me, it is very "city." There is a bar in the lobby that I did not use.

Excellent place to stay.

Stayed in a very comfortable quiet room with good soundproofing and modern furnishings and a large comfortable bed. The hotel furnishings and service are superior to the more expensive hotel across the square where I have also stayed. Staff were very helpful and competent, very good value for money. The location off Marienplatz is convenient for travellers without a car for walking and public transport with both bus and U bahn connections across Stuttgart.

Our stay was for a 1-night stop-over @ Stuttgart. The room was small but comfortable. Front-desk was business-like but helpful. Location was good. Just outside the CBD and right next to the U-Bahn stop.

Very good hotel, close to the U Bahn. Was 40 degrees when went but the aircon in the room was a life saver. Always someone reception which was great.

Honest Review

Its a bog standard IBIS. BUT the mattress on the bed was not thick enough. Towels were thin, but I assume they might have had people taking the towels home. No problem with the shower, tv, and the rooms themselves. Lots of bars and eating places nearby. 15 min walk into town.

Fine for a one night stay - limited facilities but if all you are after is a clean and reasonably well equipped bedroom with good washing/toilet facilities then the hotel is fine. Breakast at €10 is reasonable. Limited room service menu - unless you have to eat in I'd avoid it

Schlichtes, aber sauberes und ordentliches Hotel, mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Perfekt, wenn man nur eine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit braucht. Unkomplizierter Check-In. Super Lage, um fussläufig in die Südstadt zu kommen, ausserdem öffentliche Verkehrsmittel zur Innenstadt.

Besonders gut hat mir der "Service" beim Frühstück gefallen. Alles wurde immer prompt aufgefüllt und die Dame war sehr hilfsbereit.

Zentral gelegenes Hotel mit praktisch eingerichteten klimatisierten Zimmern. Anmietung vom Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage direkt unter dem Hotel günstig. Lobby war stets besetzt. Abwechslungsreiches Frühstück. Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt.

Camera e bagno accoglienti, peccato che dal bagno si senta tutto ciò che fai...credo sia un bagno prefabbricato (tipo bagno da barca) Letto comodissimo e stanza silenziosa, peccato che non c'è frigo bar. Si perde per poco ma nell'insieme buona esperienza da consigliare anche per la posizione strategica.

Beim Einchecken habe ich ein Zimmer zugewiesen bekommen, welches ungereinigt war. Nachdem ich das zerwühlte Bett und den nicht geleerten Mülleimer sah, bin ich direkt wieder zur Rezeption und bekam ein anderes. Die Sauberkeit in diesem war verbesserungsfähig. Im Bett fanden sich wenige längere dunkle Haare und die Wand hinter dem Klo wies braune Spritzer auf. Letztere berührt man im Normalfall nicht, doch appetitlich ist es dennoch nicht. Die Einrichtung selbst war etwas mitgenommen, doch bis auf die geschilderten Mängel war alles sauber und funktional. Insgesamt war es ok, doch für den Preis hatte ich mehr erwartet.

Praktisch eingerichtetes klimatisiertes Zimmer, toller Fernseher, reichhaltiges Frühstück, zentrumsnah, Tiefgarage - Parken ist in der Gegend ansonsten ein Problem

Bra service, bra läge lite otur i badrummet.

Bra service, personalen var bättre än på betydligt "finare" hotell. Spartanskt inredda rum, som förväntat, sköna sängar. I badrummet läckte det från vattenlåset underhandfatet och det luktade faktiskt kiss.

Das Hotelzimmer war sauber, ordentlich und hatte eine nette Einrichtung. Ich würde jederzeit wieder in diesem Hotel buchen.

Freundliches, junges Personal, angenehme Atmosphäre, zentral am Marienplatz gelegen, die Zahnradbahn im Blick, Marienhospital fußläufig und dank guter Fenster dennoch ruhig. Zimmer und Bad sauber, Bett bequem. Für meinen nächsten Kurztrip komme ich gerne wieder.
