The room is tiny (moreso I than expected), the hallway isn't air-conditioned, but overall everything else is appropriate for the price.

Great . Easy access to the Secc

This hotel is very close to Saigon exhibiton center so if you are travelling to attend a show at SECC, this hotel might be the best choice.

Thanks for the stay, the staff were at all times pleasant.

Hotel was fully booked and I got a family room for my business stay - too noisy in the adjacent room. Despite this inconvenience, the staff is friendly (the manager called up too) and asked if I need to change my room when rooms are more avaliable. It is still a nice gesture although I was leaving when that option comes up.

Quick trip to Saigon

It was a v short stay. Checked in at 10pm and out at 10am. My only real issue was the marathon event taking place yards from the hotel in the middle of the night and the sound proofing could have been better. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel was as expected.

Breakfast is bad

The breakfast is so bad and less choice. Staying there four night for exhibition and breakfast finish at about 9am. No refill. If you wake up late then there will be no breakfast for you

The staff was very polite & helpful. Other than that, it was not nearly as nice as the other Ibis in Ho Chi Minh - and was still more expensive.

Great location. Functional & clean room. Staff service was good. Only letdown was the hotel-arranged limo transport from airport which made me wait over an hour at the agreed pick-up location.

Lot of noise when other guests close the door. Believe wall is by partition wall instead of concreate wall that created this noise. Should add stopper for the door

Easy stay

Stay 4 nights for an exhibition at SECC right across the street, less than 5 minutes walk, very convenient location. a couple of restaurants and convenient store just right behind the building, a mall is about 10~15 minutes slow walk, with a supermarket and lot of outlets. Food, mall, supermarket, ATM not a problem, all within walking distance. Sightseeing might need to take a taxi to go further away.

A bit far from District 1 - City Center -, but literally across the street from Exhibition grounds and perfect for short business trip Same Ibis layout you'd find anywhere around the world at very affordable price even for budget travelers. Very nice staff!

Quiet Place to Stay!

A perfect & quiet place to stay. A nearby family mart provides most essential. Hotel is in one of HCM newest district hence the quiet serenity. Very different from the other districts life where it is packed with people and vehicles.

Inconvenient location with few places to explore..

Location not very ideal with no local markets / street foods around. Definitely not for travellers who wants to explore the local culture / food.

Good rooms, not designed to live in.

The type of hotel room we rented was only while my wife and I found a new apartment in Sàigòn. It was surprising they rented a room that small to a family of three, but it served its purpose. There was a 24-hour convenience store near by that helped with the time zone adjustment, and plenty of restaurants for dining. (Unlike the other hotels in Q.7, there were also no outrageous additional fees expected at the hotel that doubles the advertised price on Expedia!)

Good value in quiet and safe area

Room comfortable and clean although toilet/shower room small. Breakfast not included but many nearby options. Really enjoy lakeside open-air dining at nearby restaurants. District 7 is clean, safe and quiet. $6-$7 taxi ride to District 1.

Have Time, Will Travel

As always my stay at Ibis Saigon was very good. I used this company before at other destinations. One major problem with this hotel is it's location. It is located in District (7) which is far away from the city which is in District (1). As such, planning an itinerary for some tours proved to be challenging because some tour companies that advertise "free hotel pick up" want more money or they want you to meet them at a point halfway....

Decent experience for the price you pay

The room is quite small, but it is smartly equipped and clean. Convenient stores and malls are in walking distance so it's very convenience if you want to travel on low budget. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. I think what set them back are that they don't have different types of rooms for you to choose, and they have no swimming pool.

Review for Ibis Hotel

I stayed in this hotel because our company was participating in the Food & Hotel Vietnam exhibition and the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Hall was within walking distance to the hotel. It's a no frill hotel so since it's convenient, we have no complaints. However, we were encouraged to pay USD11/pax for the breakfast which we believed it's not worth the money. The café was understaff and we have to clear the previous patron utensils ourselves!!! The coffee was cold and the buffet spread was unappetising!!!

Good Option away from noise

Located in District 7, it's a good option if you don't need to be in the centre of town. Comfortable, clean with good wifi. They do have a shuttle into district 1. Good value for money.

Good people and just too tight quaters

Very nice but the rooms are just too small for me and I have spent the last 3 yrs. traveling in the Far East. Great price and great people but I kept wanting to push out the walls. No pool which I always want.

Great business hotel for frequent travellers who want a no frills but clean and comfortable stay with good service.

Good Alternative to City Hotels

Located in the District 11, this hotel offers good value and some peace and quiet in a busy city. Rooms are small but clean and with comfortable beds. Free internet too. Good basic business hotel at a good price.

Good business hotel without the frills

The hotel has the basics that one needs -- a comfortable bed, TV, shower and free internet. Staff are friendly. Seems to be frequented by business travellers who are visiting offices in the area. Rooms are relatively small but well designed. Location is in D7, which is about 30min away from the city. Area is quiet and spacious with wide roads.

Great area but far and quiet

It is situated at District 7 which is 30 minutes from Dist 1. Dist. 7 is a Korean enclave developed by the Koreans in Vietnam, which you can see the organized infrastructure and buildings. There are 2 shopping malls nearby, plenty of restaurant, a long river and also an "island-restaurant" but the sad thing is, it lacks people and lacks vibrancy. I was there for business so it is ok to have quiet nights and a good rest but if you are there for site seeing, Dist 1 offers a better alternative.

Nice hotel and nice friendly staffs. Value for money. Not in District 1 but free shuttle service available.

Reasonable pricing

If you are used 5* rooms than this has the charm of a youth hostel. BUT: i think for this small money as a budget hotel this is really ok. Staff friendly. Rooms clean and walking distance to crescent mall in Dist 7. Would go there again if I wouldn't prefer 5* luxury rooms :-)

Great hotel with so so location

Very good stay! Only Con is that only one out of the five taxis we took back to the hotel knew how to get to it without getting lost.

Nothing special

Not easy to approach like the most places in Vietnam. You need a taxi to get to this hotel. There is no room service at late night. This hotel isn't worth a million dong. You'd better not choose this one in case you're tourists.

Descent hotel in a suburb area

iBis Saigon South is a nice, decent hotel good for business and holidays. If you are looking for a quieter area away from the traffic and hectic in District 1, this one is for you. It takes about 30-45 mins depending on the traffic to get to the airport or about 20-30mins to city center. The room is clean on the 13th floor but you can constantly hear the vibration from the roof, properly the main A/C units. Will return to iBis but will make sure not on the top floor.

Great hotel in District 7

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel during our visit to Ho Chi Minh City. The staff was great and made booking a tour very easy. Even though it is a little bit away from everything in District 7, there is a mall and a few excellent restaurants within walking distance. Every taxi driver seemed to ask why we were staying in District 7 but the cleanliness and amazing staff made up for having to take a taxi almost everywhere. They do have a complimentary shuttle service that we used once but the other scheduled times were unreliable and we ended up having to take a taxi (which was between $7-14 to District 1). The restaurant/bar located at the hotel had great drinks and the food was tasty. Overall, the location of being in District 7 is the only real downfall to this hotel. .

Good value hotel.

It's located away from the hustle and bustle of district 1 but it's a short and cheap taxi ride there. Some might not like the location as it might feel like the middle of nowhere with vacant adjacent land blocks waiting to be developed. At night it is particularly quiet noise wise and that's a good thing. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was clean and serviced daily. Wifi was good. I admire the hotel for trying to reduce waste and unnecessary energy use. The food in the restaurant was quite good for breakfast but the dinner was surprisingly excellent. The dinner was on par with a 5 star establishment. Overall an enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this place.

Must be the reasonable choice ever~

Consiering the room charge, service & level of staff & location are very satisfactory. I love it whenever i visit HCMC, it really gives me one of the budget trip options. If anybody has plan to enjoy the calm & clean & budget all, don't hesitate to use this knokout hotel.

スコール、雨が降ってきた為、フロントスタッフにタクシー（ビナサンタクシー、またはマイリンタクシーを指定）を呼んでもらったのに、白タクがマイリンタクシーだとのこと、急いでいたためそれに乗車。同じ場所まで別のタクシーが27,000VNDのところ、白タクは100,000VNDを要求してきた。スタッフのいい加減な対応には要注意のホテルです。

スタッフの対応は親切でよかったです。贅沢さを求めなければ宿泊費もリーズナブルで良いと思います。

一人で止まるには十分

チェックイン・チェックアウトは、非常に手際よく処理してくれ、 とても気持ちの良い接客でした。 今回は、素泊まりでしたのが、一人で泊まるだけであれば、 十分なホテルだと思います。 ただ、部屋の設備について以下の点が気になりました。 ・冷蔵庫が小さい 　-> 奥行きが10cmも無いほどのサイズで、飲み物を入れるのが限界です。 　　外で買って来た食べ物は到底入るサイズでは無いので、お土産で生物等を買うのであれば、ホテル滞在中は避けた方が良いと思います。 ・エレベーターが遅い 　-> 最上階の13Fの部屋でしたが、エレベーターが2台あるが、 　　なかなか来ない。 　　また、上がる速度も遅いので13Fから外へ出入りするのは結構面倒な状況でした。 ・部屋のエアコン、電気が部屋不在中は止まる 　→ 扉脇のところにカードを刺さないと電気が稼働しない仕組み 　　ホテルでは良くあるタイプの部屋であるが、部屋に不在中はエアコンも止まり、パソコンやiPadなどの充電も出来ないのは、出張等での利用には向かない部屋だと思います。

SECC 접근성이 좋습니다. 주변은 황량하지만 한인타운이 멀지 않습니다. 조식은 별3개 호텔에서 나옴직한 수준입니다. 직원들은 친절합니다. 방은 작은 편입니다.

Excellent hotel

Very close to SECC, therefore very convenient for exhibitors or visitors. Staffs are all very friendly. Breakfast is also very nice. In my room everything is comfortable, with universal wall plug therefore I don't need to take out my adapter. Bed and pillow are very comfortable as well. The only thing I am not satisfied is the light, it's absolutely too dark in the room at night. During business trip I have to do some work with my laptop, but in a dark room my eyes feel uncomfortable. Overall it's still a perfect choice especially if your destination is SECC.
