Welcoming stay
We arrived very late due to delays on the Eurotunnel, but it was easy to park when we arrived at 3am. We had a friendly and helpful welcome. Our room was nearest to the reception, perfect to get our bags and dogs in easily. In the morning we grabbed a coffee and continued our journey. Thank you for a short but comfortable stay!
Safe, clean, friendly staff
Convenient stop on way to South of France
Overnight stay close to autoroute
Overnight stay while travelling through France. Near to autoroute and easy to find. Friendly professional welcome. Room change to ground floor offered due to limited mobility. Room was clean, in good condition and quiet. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of parking. Leisurely buffer breakfast on the terrace to finish our stay. We would definitely use this hotel again.
In a very busy area and hard to fond
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was modern, clean and comfortable. We had breakfast too which had a large choice of options
A disappointment after many good years !
Restaurant a disappointment having had good experiences over many years. Menu, uninspiring and initial "Amuse bouche " salad was limp and uninspiring Entreco"te steaks were very tough, and served half cold. General air of no interest. Double room seemed to have shrunk even more. Receptionist on arrival was splendid and most helpful. GC
Courtpaille Restaurant very poor.
Hotel was fine but the only reason we have used this hotel so much is the Courtpaille restaurant attached to it. Unfortunately this time the meal in the Courtpaille was very poor and expensive for what it was. The Goat's Cheese salad consisted of limp lettuce, a very small portion of goats' cheese, bread rolls cut in half, not toasted and an anaemic dressing. We will now be looking for other hotels for our stays.
Good stopover hotel.
Second time here with dog. Rooms for those with pets are good as not carpeted but comfy. Friendly reception. We've stayed numerous times without our dog and always been happy, and are very pleased that we can still staybhere when travelling with our dog. Didnt eat in the restaurant this time as we found the menu very limited last stay. No longer serve duck and the veggie choices were boring.
Great stopover hotel. Pet friendly.
We stayed for one night on our way to The Alps. We had a dog with us and the room was suitable for pets. No carpet just hard floor easy to clean. We have stayed here before but never with a dog.
Very nice hotel for low budget, enjoy staff, great breakfast, premium product
Very nice hotel, smiling staff, very clean, nice breakfast premium product
perfect hotel for the stopover on our way down south to the Cote Azur
Ibis - a step into the future
We have stayed at the ibis Reims Tinqueux on many occasions, but our latest stay was the best so far. The new face lift of the bedrooms has given each room a fresh, modern, feel good look. The decor is brilliant and the bathroom is superb. A great place to stay over or make your base for a holiday in the champagne region
Basic accommodation. OK for a stop over
Overnight stay at the Ibis in Tinqueux
Overnight stay at this hotel before travelling back to the UK. For this purpose the room was adequate. My only issue was that the window was key locked so, wasn't able to allow fresh air into the room. That said, we had a nice meal at the restaurant which was open till late (11pm) and the room/shower facility was fine.
Great hotel with musical instruments for guest use
Second visit to the hotel, the reception staff remembered us, which is very much appreciated in this busy world. Friendliness of all staff and very pleasant dining experience. Our must visit on our journeys in future.
Largely as advertised. Super helpful staff
This hotel is lovely. I’d definitely recommend. Can’t wait to return
Restaurant had limitée food and cooked without care.
Extremely friendly staff - breakfast and Check-in. A super stop gap on the way to the alps. Didn't expect much and came away super impressed
Good value
Although room is small, every basic things you need is in place. Very warm check in staff. Great location with shopping malls nearby, lots of parking space in front, but only 1 EV charger.
Good value, clean, functional room.
Excellent stopover hotel.
Excellent hotel for a stopover on the way to the Alps. Restaurant good and service good.
Road trip through France
Very useful location for a road trip, stopping to rest and recharge. The room was a bit small, but that was more than compensated for by the very pleasant staff who were very accommodating.
Have stayed here on practically every UK <> Alps trip to break up the journey. Super friendly and love the breakfast.
Great location on a long journey across France.
Acceptable
Check in would not accept our Covid documentation which had been OK everywhere else only suggesting there had been an issue with another guest but finally accepted NHS. App. Reported broken shower on leaving. Not really interested.
Value for money stop off
over night stay on drive to italy. Great service and staff made us feel very welcome. Bar open late and the breakfast is great!
Ian
A really good overnight stop. Excellent Asian restaurant buffet across the road.
Wonderful reception staff and great place to stop off on route
Shoe box, filthy, loud and depressing.
Shoe box room, hardly any room to move around. Worst part was that when we arrived in the room, there was pubic hair all over the floor in the bathroom, it was horrendous. We complained and they moved us to an identical room (no upgrade) and not even a real apology. Shocking. Only upside was the breakfast clerk was very kind. Would not recommend. Extremely loud hallways which woke our toddler up numerous times in the night.
The room was a bit smelly, and too hot all night as the AC did not work. The breakfast was excellent!
Good for a stop over
Arrived quite late but check.in.was seift and easy no issues or problems just wish that the rooms wete a little.bigger and more storage space. Did not have breakfast or eat in the hotel so inable to comment but it looked nice enough. Check.out was prompt judt infuriates me that whenevervwe travel in any city in Europe we have to pay a city tax even when we stayed high up in the mountains in lodges we still had to.pay city tax. Its about time we got wise and stsrted charging any foriegn visitor a city tax for using our hotels anywhere in the Uk including guest houses and cottages and lodges. We pay enough tax why not recruit some more from any visitors to.our country.
Really good for overnight stay.
Overnight stay, very east to find. Check in quick and friendly. Was very busy but the service for dinner was efficient. Breakfast very good. My only small criticism was a lack of quiet seating areas to enjoy a drink.
We travel from Yorkshire to Turin regularly and this is an excellent stop off pint to break the journey. The staff are always accommodating, and the hotel is well kept. It has good parking (although can be busy in July/August). We will be staying again as it offers a good compromise in terms of cost and room size. Note: there is a good Pizzeria up the road called Balia
Love this hotel. We've driven a fair few miles across Europe over this summer and last, and this hotel is for sure our favourite. The hotel is in an excellent position from the motorway, the layout is great and the car park is excellent. The hotel appears to be very new and modern and immaculately clean.
Perfectly adequate chain hotel.
Perfectly adequate for a 2 night stay to visit Reims. Easy access from Tinqueux to downtown (driving), but confusing to get in and out of the hotel. Tons of parking. In a retail area close to groceries but limited selection of restaurants. Extra charge breakfast wasn't tried - we went shopping and made our own. Euro-tiny room. Weather was cool so didn't sample AC or heat. Room was clean. Helpful front desk staff with good English.
No staff on the desk despite advertising 24 hour reception. Rooms basic but fine.
Good last night stop over
Hotel was clean, comfortable and in a good location as only needed for last night stop over on way to Calais. Food in restaurant was very good. Would use again
Very good super meals
Always very welcoming and excellent breakfast - very convenient location near autoroute too
Great place to stay as always .easy checkin professional friendly staff great location
Good overnight stop for a driving trip
Overnight stop whilst driving through France with my dog. Clean, tidy, helpful and efficient. Exactly what I needed.
A perfect place to stop on the way down to the South. Excellent location, great parking and clean room plus an excellent restaurant
Good stay
All went well, the rooms are small and mine had no view from the window but it was clean. Decent breakfast
Comfortable and convenient dog friendly hotel.
Very pleasant and dog friendly hotel. Comfortable bed albeit could have been bigger although compact room! Good little shower room and toilet. Very nice breakfast included in our room price. Location convenient for a leisurely and interesting walk into the centre of Reims. Easy access to main roads making it an excellent stop for those travelling onwards.
Great staff, good location for us, and a great restaurant, plus also walking distance to a great pizzeria
Easter weekend was very warm, asked about aircon I the room as it was very warm, response was it was still set for winter so only heating available. Made for a warm night & not a great sleep
Overnight stop on the way to the alps. Easy to find. Clean room, bit small for a twin, but good bathroom and comfy bed. Good service and decent breakfast, cheapest paid for directly at the hotel.
Misrepresentation
I booked a room with a double and a single bed. We were allocated a tiny room with a double and folded children's bed (for under 12's, not for a 19-year old man) which had a wooden overhang over it, a very thin flimsy mattress, was very short and narrow, unstable, felt like a draw in a chest of draws and creaked like hell. This bed arrangement is actually a folded table. Such rooms should not be advertised as double and a single bed. This is a misrepresentation. The toilet turned out to be blocked. We were moved to a room with two single beds - again tiny and not what I paid a lot of money. The hotel was overpriced for the value we received. I will never ever stay in this hotel even if it is the last hotel in the world - because of misrepresentation, i.e. lying about the so-called ‘single bed’ which in reality is a converted table/children's bed/draw in a chest of draws. Getting bookings by lying about the bed and not warning about how tiny the rooms are is the sign of desperation. Disgusting!
A reasonable price, good location near the motorway, handy stopover. Room small and noisy heating/Air Con. all night!. Comfortable bed, good shower, and excellent breakfast.
Great hotel
Lovely stay in Reims - the hotel is in a great location and very dog friendly which was important for us.
Friendly staffs and great location
The hotel is at a good location if you are driving as there is free parking and supermarket nearby. The room is clean and simple, which is the same for all other IBIS hotels. The restaurant at the hotel has some nice choices and the price is very reasonable.
Looking Dated.
This property, especially the bedrooms, now looking tired and in need of modernising. For the money, it's not great value for money! Will try alternative next time I'm in the area.
Good value for an overnight stop or visit to Reims
Almost as good as usual though breakfast items weren't fully replaced after a coach party breakfasting earlier. We ate at 8.30, but there were no eggs left to boil though they did top up the hot water for boiling them (Why?!) No muesli left either. Plenty of other things though - so a good breakfast nevertheless.
Good overnight stop
Comfortable room and beds though a little on the small side with not much room between and of beds and opposite wall. Good bathroom and good breakfast. Courtepaille restaurant attached - an excellent French chain with a wide menu.
Nice hotel for a stop over.
Used this hotel for stopping over night on way to Switzerland. Everything was fine but I felt the room was rather small.
IBIS STAFF GREAT COURTEPAILLE STAFF AWFUL
We were travelling to the South of France from Calais and Ibis Reims Tinqueux was a great location for us to stop off on the way down and also on the way back. It is only a short distance from the motorway, the rooms are comfortable and the IBIS staff are welcoming and helpful. However, this hotel is linked to a COURTEPAILLE restaurant and the evening bar staff and floor manager couldn't have been more unwelcoming and unfriendly if they tried. They were a bit surly on our first stop and even worse on the return journey. No smiles, no eye contact, completely unwelcoming service. I witnessed the floor manager completely ignore a woman that had been standing at the bar for a while, he walked straight past her and deliberately looked at the floor as he did so. The breakfast is ok, doesn't set the world on fire, but is ok and the daytime staff were fine. It is just such a shame as the IBIS staff were lovely.
Value for the Price.
The Stay was quite Nice. No complaints at all.
Convenient hotel
Great hotel for a night stop next to motorway. Attached restaurant good. Rooms comfortable and staff friendly.
Convenient hotel with great facilities
This is a great hotel for visiting Reims or for an overnight stay en route to the coast. Rooms are small but extremely comfortable with excellent bathrooms. Nice restaurant on site. Easy and safe parking.
Good stopover when driving down to the Alps. Easy access from main motorways and close enough to Reims centre to see the city.
Staff were very polite rooms well appointed Will not use the Novotel anymore as we used to excellent for an overnight stay clean and comfortable value for money
Great place to stay..
Everything was perfect! Great, friendly staff ,, and very pet-friendly. Easy access to the motorway as well.
Simple and comfortable. Tiny room though
Simple, inexpensive and comfortable. Tiny room though, so not suitable for a longer stay.
Served as a good stop over. Had problems finding with Sat nav but probably my fault
Good Stop-off point for Trip to Alps
About 2.5 hrs drive from Dunkirk (or Calais), this hotel was a good choice for an overnight stop on our way to the French Alps. Satnav took us straight to hotel although the turn into the car park is a bit sharp off the main carriageway. Car park well lit. Hotel staff pleasant and spoke good English. Room small but adequate for 2 adults and 1 child. Crisp and clean. Bathroom nice with powerful shower. Paid for breakfast on arrival, simple continental style and very nice, civilised environment. Also made an unscheduled overnight stop on return journey due to snow delays. No problem getting a room. Overall, a nice hotel considering what we paid.
Perfect for my needs for an overnight stop off when driving to the U.K. Room is small but clean. Fast easy check in and check out at any time.
Clean comfortable; perfect for an overnight stay
Hit the spot perfectly; good courtpaille restaurant on site. Parking immediately next to the hotel. Staff were all pleasant and helpfully responsive. Only question in my mind is heating/cooling - room was over- warm through underfloor heating which didn't seem very controllable.
No hot water for entire stay
We reported to reception on Sat night that we had no hot water. Their solution was for us to change rooms at 10.30pm. We declined and was told on Sunday that a technician was called and would be there in the afternoon as there had been a number of complaints of no hot water. When we returned to room on Sunday afternoon still no hot water. We complained again when we checked out. Just unacceptable. They should have a maintenance crew on standby for weekends.
Comfortable beds but cleaning could be better
Conveniently located hotel with a shopping centre nearby. Rooms are small but the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom cleaning could have been better.
very close to the motorway
Convenient and good value
Convenient, comfortable hotel.
Convenient hotel near to the autoroutes and superstore. Adjoining restaurant serves good food. Comfortable air conditioned rooms.
Hotel
Really nice hotel
Very convenient stopover
This makes an ideal stopover from/to Calais, and is always very clean and comfortable. Reception staff are helpful and all speak English. The room is small, but everything needed is there. Good value for money, and very easy to find with only a minimal detour from the A26, large supermarket across the road with fuel station, and good choice of restaurants nearby.
Great Stay, good alternative to Novotel.
Great for the price. Used to stay for many years at the Novotel, however, it has priced itself out of the market. Staff were very helpful, room comfortable and good value for money.
A Night in Tinqueux
We have stayed at this hotel before and its always good value. Very close to motorway for access to different parts of France.
Good stopover
Small room but clean and tidy. Great position close to motorway if driving down through France
Nice Hotel, pity breakfast not inc.
Room was nice, with free wifi, comfy beds. Free parking. Note breakfast was not included in the price which caught me out as all other Ibis Styles I stayed in previously to date had breakfast included. I think there should be a standard policy across all Ibis Styles regarding things like breakfasts. I can understand having to pay if it was a Ibis Budget. Apart from that the stay was fine. Nothing else to complain about :) Price of stay per night was ok.
Great stopover hotel
Great stop over hotel, every thing you need for a good nights rest.
What you expect from Ibis. Would stay again.
Stayed in this hotel for 2 consecutive years. Good convenient location from the motorway on our journey to Italy from GB. Has a decent restaurant attached and plenty parking available. Only downside was that the WiFi was not working this time which was a problem for us.
Max and Pearl on Tour
Could not have a drink outside unless we were eating in the restaurant very small area to drink in inside
Perfect stop over hotel - lovely staff too
Very much the classic ibis room but what makes difference here are nice people running the property. Have stayed at Novotel next door for much more money and not as homely an experience from staff.
Great stop off on wy from Calais to Alps
Really great ibis - punches above its weight. Very generous breakfast - equivalent to many more expensive brands.
Basic but good value
Just an overnight stop on the way home from a skiing holiday. Accommodation was basic but clean. Had a good night's sleep, which for me is unusual, so very happy with that. Good value for money.
Good overnight stop
Ideal stop over with adequate facilities well located to motorwaty
Ok to overnight to break a long journey
Room a little hot and stuffy. No hospitality tray to make coffee / tea! When enquired, receptionist said in France, hotels do not offer hospitality trays! So be warned, don't look forward to a nice cup of tea / coffee after your journey or first thing in the morning. Not even a kettle to make your own :-(
All good and can't complain for what I paid for.
All good and can't complain for what I paid for. A great hotel especially if you are travelling with a car.
Good stop over and good for driving into Reims. Poor social facilities, bar not linked to the restaurant so no where to have drinks except reception of the hotel.
Close to Autoroute
Hotel ok if just passing through. Room rather small but clean and comfortable. Restaurant next door was part of a chain but served the purpose. Good breakfast selection for extra charge.
Relax & freshen up before returning to the UK
Stop over and return journey to the UK. This is a regular (for us) hotel location. Comfortable and clean rooms with a nice restaurant alongside.
ibis
Now much easier to find. Good restaurant Great for an overnight stop over
Ibis... You know what you get
Aircon was broken broken. However staff were friendly and bed was comfy. Good location close to motorway
Clean place, good location
We use the IBIS hotel in Tinqueux on the way back to the UK from Switzerland. Easy access to and from Motorway. Room and Bathroom clean. Air condition worked well on a hot day/evening. For us it is a plus that there is a restaurant, the Courtepaille, attached to the hotel. We have stayed at this hotel before and we will use it again,
Great overnight stopover
This is a good value for money hotel. Having stayed previously at the Novotel next door, the Ibis seemed better priced for an overnight stay en route south, where all we needed was a comfortable bed, a clean room and a reasonable breakfast. All these boxes ticked. Staff were welcoming and able to speak English well. Our room was clean and well presented, everything worked, and the shower was fine. Tinqueux is an ideal stopover, near the A26 and easy to rejoin it next day, also excellent Italian restaurant just 5 minutes car journey away, supermarket close by with petrol station with very good prices compared to UK, we filled the tank on our return journey. Would use this Ibis again, it's one of the best ones.
Hotel
Would recommend this hotel for a stop over visit.
A Nights stay at the Ibis
Hotel is very well located near the Reims city centre with all the tourist attraction and close to the motorway for onward journeys. The restaurant was fine and reasonable priced as is breakfast. I would recommend a short stay, say a couple of nights, as the rooms are quite small but comfortable.
Good Value Hotel
This is our second stay at this hotel which is in an excellent location near the motorway and offers good accommodation with clean rooms at a good value price.
Stopover
Great for stopover to the Alps
