Fantastic Stay at IBIS Quito – Highly Recommended!

I had an amazing stay at IBIS Quito! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly warm and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room was spotless, modern, and extremely comfortable, with a cozy bed and fast Wi-Fi, ensuring a perfect night’s sleep. The breakfast buffet was delicious, offering a great variety of fresh options, and the on-site restaurant made dining convenient and enjoyable. The hotel didn't give me the room I booked. I booked a room with two beds and a desk. But when I checked in, they gave me a room with one bed and no desk. I picked and booked the room because I needed a desk, but the hotel gave me a different room. When I requested a different room, the hotel gave me a room again, this time with a desk but only one bed. This room was also not the one I had booked. I was exhausted and didn't want to talk to the hotel about this anymore, so I took the room they assigned me. I also booked at the VIP level on Expedia, and although Expedia said the hotel would provide special services for VIPs, there were no such services. This needs to be improved.

It is good to stay for a business trip. The restaurant on the ground floor is good. Breakfast seems like other business hotels.

Very nice and certainly a clean hotel with comfortable rooms and amazing staff. Also had great dining options and the breakfast buffet was good value and had plenty of options. Walked around the area a little bit and felt safe.

The stay was very comfortable and even though we don't speak Spanish, the staff spoke English well enough to converse. Great food in the restaurant for a good price. It was super having shuttle service to and from airport for a small fee. Staff was super nice!

My husband and I enjoyed our week-long stay at Ibis. the breakfast was yummy, the location is great, and the staff are attentive and friendly. I highly recommend staying here to any foreign or local visitors!

Welcome

We arrived early due to our flight and was able to leave our luggage at the hotel to walk around Quito. The receptionist gave us wifi and told us that we can hang in the lobby and approach them later to see if our room was ready. The hotel has a restaurant with a buffet style breakfast which had a great selection. Overall, we felt safe and appreciated to be at the hotel.

Property is nice and clean. Has a decent restaurant and plenty of staff available. Staff felt like they were not personable with the guest, felt like they were in a rush and not attentive. Not rude or anything like that. Simply in a rush. They never acknowledged me as an Expedia VIP. Just felt like they were trying to get through the day fast. Overall, it was an okay stay

Stay was excellent, with room service and staff on point. Although, it was a bit unpleasant that coffee and/or tea was not complimentary and rooms weren’t equipped with it. Therefore, outstanding hotel.

Great hotel that’s very central for most things. Excellent service, good breakfast and food overall. Santiago is an excellent bartender as well. Good, quiet, comfortable rooms without extras. Smart TVs were the dumbest I’ve encountered, but they work.

It was a nice hotel the breakfast was delicious the rooms were comfortable but there were a lot of noise outside because of people who were in party’s it would be great if there were windows with noise cancellation

Building is really new, staff was very kind and easy going, restaurant is always full, that only guarantees is a great option. Additionally the area where the hotel is located is very convenient to get around. Would def consider it again or recommend to my friends

The place is vet nice and well decorated. The rooms are very small but confortable ! They provide a smart tv in the rooms but no way to connect to Netflix or any other streaming apps… huge disappointment! The breakfast was good but service during could be better

The IBIS is a great hotel, and centrally located. The check-in was great, and the front desk staff was very pleasant, except for one fellow. We asked for a second key card to get into our room and he looked like we had just asked him for a loan or something. He wasn’t as friendly as the other staff, who were super! Breakfasts were fantastic, loved the coffee machines! The serving staff was attentive and the hotel’s restaurant was open late, unusual for Ecuador. It seems most restaurants close up around 6:00pm. We liked it so much we cancelled our stay at another hotel and stayed exclusively there. Would stay there again.

So-So

The stay was OK. I felt enclosed since the rooms were small and dark colors didn't help. We had a few technical challenges, and the only thing that was a bit disappointing was that we were told we had to wait until the next day, and then when we asked for another room, they mentioned that they were at total capacity. After another call, the technical issue was fixed.

Staff was so kind during our stay. They were always attentive to our needs. The rooms are small but very clean, modern and comfortable. Love that the room is not carpeted. The restaurant is good and the breakfast was great. Overall a great stay.

Stay Ibis

Had a wonderful stay at Ibis Quito. It was within walking distance of restaurants, park, bus terminal and various other amenities. The hotel breakfast and dinner is awesome. The staff was extremely helpful with all aspect of our stay.

It’s a good hotel for short stay the price - benefits relation is great, I wold like to have an small fridge in my room that will be nice, the rooms are really small and the hair dryer was not in the best conditions, the benefits like free beverage xpedia vip is kind of disappointing, it’s like water coke or beer and the hotel personal was not really informed of how that works ! Brackfast is good lot of options but a lot o people in a small place !

Not received any Expedia benefits despite the fact this hotel is listed as VIP. There is honestly nothing VIP about it, we waited around 35 minutes for the check-in - there was a large queue and everything was going extremely slow. Showing a vaccine certificate wasn't enough apparently - they wanted us to Whats App it to them?! Room was okay, very basic and so is the breakfast in the early hours

A perfect choice for our group of 12 ladies. Everything was spic and span and the hotel was in a good, safe area. The buffet breakfast was good and the staff couldn't have been more friendly or attentive.

The walls of the rooms are to thin and you hear everything. And there was a meeting at 01:25am in the next room that week me up. At 03:00am I ask to be changed of room, the hotel change me, but not on there initiative. Horrible night.

Every thing was great except when smoke from the smoking area came into dining area; they should install a fan to further provide escape of smoke from smoking area.

It was a good stay overall and staff was friendly. The hotel is clean and the location is good. Breakfast area is a bit crowded. Smoking balcony section door doesn't close properly, therefore you can feel the smoke in the lobby/breakfast area, which is not great. Hotel doesn't have a room service. You order food and you need to collect it from reception/bar and pay for it separately. Also, laundry service is not delivered back to your room. You have to collect it at Reception and pay immediately. I think, management should re-think about these unfriendly, unwelcoming and inconvenient policies. Other than this, I would recommend to stay at Ibis Quito.

Push Your Own Luggage Cart HOTEL

Great location BUT i thought it was rude that they saw me pull up with my luggages from the airport and just looked at me as I struggled to bring them out of the cab. I even went inside and asked if I could use a cart to losd my luggages and the 3 employees, YES 3, guided me to where i could get a luggage cart!

New hotel with efficient minimalist design . Staff was outstanding - ready to respond to any request with a smile . Because of a back injury, I had to spend most of my time in the hotel and was grateful to find the restaurant open with very tasty food until 10 PM . Our only problem was the extreme minimalist design that offered no drawers and in adequate counter space to place luggage for repacking. With only one chair available, The very narrow twin beds had to do triple service as seating and extra packing room . I was pleased that all electrical and electronic equipment worked and the room had electrical outlets as well as good Wi-Fi . But rooms were not heated, only offering an AC with cool settings . When we complained ( Quito was very cool this year), The hotel provided a heater for the room - all you need to do is ask . We were attending a conference, but after a back injury we had to cancel a tour and extend our stay to six nights. The Spartan design made this a little less than comfortable but the accommodating staff more than made up for it . Kudos and special thanks to Roseangelina and Gabriel at the front desk.

Check in was fast and staff was friendly great location breakfast was enjoyable staff was also friendly rooms were clean and new a bit small but pleasant and clean can’t beat it for the price will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Quito overall my stay was great highly recommend it

Fantastic hotel in Quito

An amazing Hotel. The staff is very friendly and polite. The Hotel is about one year old so everything inside is fairly new. We checked other hotels in the city during our stay and this hotel is definitely the best one and probably the newest in the city. Access to other areas in the city are fairly close. Getting around by taxi is simple and easy.Would definitely recommend to take the tour bus that goes through the old city and the new parts before venturing out to explore because it will help you avoid wasting time in areas you don't want to be in.

Some if the basic services are lacking. The showers are made so poorly that one has dry the floor after taking using it. There is no vent in a bathroom without windows. Not enough towers and when I asked the service person for more I was told to go and the front desk.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The area had some excellent food choices and easy access to other parts of town via taxi. The staff was accommodating for the most though sometimes they came off as rude. Overall this is a hotel I recommend and would stay in again.
