Very small and bad room very bad service

As a senior man, the safe and refrigerator are to low to access easily.

A little old and tired.

Its an awesome hotel and the place was great.

The friendly atmosphere but the room was smelling when I arrived on the second floor

We had a small deck overlooking the pool which was nice. The room and bathroom were small but we were hardly there, and it was good value for the price. There was no hanging space for dresses and the floor wasn't very clean but the rest was clean. Very comfortable bed.

This is the second time staying at this hotel and have received excellent service from the staff, and found the accommodation is in a good location

Dirty and limited dinning. The restaurabt staff where breakfast was served the staff were very unfriendly i requested if i can have a takeaway container or foil so that i could carry bread for my son and they said they dont have any so sad.

Our first time visiting Thailand, and it could not have gone any better thanks to our partial stay at Ibis Patong. Easy and convenient location with everything you need close by, its a 15min walk to bangla Rd, and a 5min walk to the beach. The hotel has a pool with spa services at its back edge at great prices! The breakfast buffet was fresh, plentiful, and yummy with some of the same dishes but also, dishes that chabge daily. We had a family room which was exactly what we needed! The room had plenty of room, a view to the pool, decent beds and was clean! My favourite part about this place, though, was the staff. So friendly to not only us but our children as well, our kids loved it here and did not want to leave. We will definitely be back.

The bathroom picture is misleading. It doesn’t look like that in the two pictures they have on this site.

The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located. The swimming pool is great, same as the reception area. The rooms are small, but I felt I had enough space overall, on top of that there is a little terrace to seat outside. The room cleaning service was a bit disappointing. Some days my room was cleaned at 13:00, some other day at 17/18:00. After an afternoon at the beach, finding the room clean with fresh towey would have been great. This is a small improvement, but overall I will no doubt stay again during future trips.

I enjoyed my week at Ibis. It is located in semi quite area of Patong, with many options to eat and drink near by. It was 5 minutes walk to the beach, 10-15 minutes to the party area. The workers at ibis were very friendly and nice. The cleaning ladies and front desk were very nice. The breakfast was very delicious and rich. I will stay there again.

The level of cleanliness is not so high,other than that its a really good hotel.

I really wanted to love this hotel .. sadly I discovered the duvet was soiled in bodily fluids .. in all fairness housekeeping sorted straight away and Farouk the general manager emailed me back almost straight away and apologised and sent a lovely fruit basket to my room. Apart from the issue the hotel is what I expect from an ibis hotel. Good quality; cost effective and friendly staff - whilst I had an issue and these things do happen it is the way it is resolved that matters .. and they resolved very quickly so would stay here again :-)

Poor internet connection

I have stayed at Ibis twice, once for 7 days another for 9 days. I enjoyed the service, breakfast and facility. The quality of the hotel and staff is under minded by the poor internet service. I contacted the hotel IT department they did make a minor effort but offered no improvement. I will not stay at Ibis Patong again due to this issue.

Feels like a second home!

The photo of the wonderful Thai greeting laid out on my bed when I arrived reflects the sort of welcome I receive each time I stay at Ibis Patong! Check-in was friendly, fast and safe (temperature check, hand sanitizer, all staff behind screens and wearing masks, social distancing signs in the lobby, lifts...). My room was upgraded to overlook the sparkling clean pool framed by lush vegetation. Altogether feels like I am at my second home!

A wonderful hotel experience in this new age

This was my first time away from home since early April, when I also stayed at Ibis Patong. All aspects of my experience this time reflected the high standard I have come to expect there over many years, in particular the high level of service provided by Khun Ou, Khun Ray and their team. The main changes were, of course, health related and in summary I would describe these measures as comprehensive and efficient but completely unobtrusive.

Short stay favourite Patong hotel

This time was a short stay to meet a family member who flew in from overseas. All aspects of my stay-room, outlook, service...-were excellent, which is why I have been staying here for more than 10 years. I particularly noted the excellent service from Khun Ray at the reception desk-nothing too much trouble, always a friendly smile.

Nothing is good about this property, will never stay at this property again.

Stay in Ibis Patong Phuket

The room was a bit small (room rate not cheap) and there was no hotel shuttle bus to Patong shopping area. Wifi was not stable and it did not work some time. There were not many choices for the buffet breakfast. In sum, we shall not stay in this hotel again.

Good for budget travelers.but overall prices in phuket has risen quite drastically. Probably won't go back anymore.

3 night return visit

A great experience for three nights, starting with a warm and friendly "welcome back" from Kun Ou in reception. I was upgraded to a spacious, quiet room with a direct view over the large and immaculately clean swimming pool. The hotel is a comfortable walk to Jung Ceylon shopping centre and Patong Beach. A strong wifi signal and air-conditioning added to the experience. See you next time!

The property is really clean and the staff are really nice. Superb service. However, rooms are small and theres no basic things like toothbrush and slippers. Also there is not much choices for breakfast.. We stayed for 8 days and it was the same breakfast menu every day.

I would've been "very happy" to return with all my family and friends to stay here again BUT due to pool being closed at 7pm sharp every night jus as it was cooler from the heat of the day and perfect for an early evening swim in pool but nope some guy with whistle tells us all to get out!! So i will "not" be returning here with my family and friends

Charged to use phone to call insurance company FREE number worldwide $180AUD They refused refund for 3 nights accomodation not used as had to return to Australia with two broken feet Accident happened on tour (tripped over padlock stuck to floor at top of temple stairs) booked through hotel, no option to go direct to hospital. At 7pm in daylight guests ushered out of pool by security blowing a whistle and flashlight (hardly any English) out out!!! Limited buffet food options. Poor English by most hotel staff! 10/10 would not recommend ibis or Expedia. As have attempted to resolve issues via Expedia and their calls cut out and they don’t return calls. Will be publishing my experience via a friends travel blog with thousands and thousands of followers!

Good location walking distance to most things. Great family rooms. Breakfast average, eggs precooked so cold not fresh. Beers expensive so didn’t spend as much time around pool and went out more to get cheaper beers/drinks. Staff lovely.

Helpful friendly staff rooms cleaned daily pool was excellent close to beach transport available out the front bars eateries close by. Family room was a great size and came with ps4 to entertain kids.

The cleanliness was not the best. The staff was okay. Compared to the rest of the hotels in Patong, Ibis was the only hotel that did not really make me feel welcomed.

Budge cost to stay comfortably

If you want to book this hotel in the future, please bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, cotton buds and body lotion as the hotel only provides soap in dispenser and shower cap. As we checked in very late after midnight, we were left with no toilet tissue in the bathroom. Breakfast buffet does not provide much varieties. However, due to the low cost of room rate, I can't complain.

Poor service and rude staff. Not usual Ibis stand

This hotel has the potential to be a great place To stay. However, initial impressions at check in were correct! The majority of staff were rude, inattentive and lazy. I have stated at many Ibis hotels, and had just left another excellent review for Saigon Airport Ibis, but this hotel didn't live up to expectations!

Never returning to this "Economy" hotel.

This hotel needs to learn how to communicate with the customers and to actually provide services that they claim they do. This was the worst hotel I stayed in the last several years and I do travel internationally a few times a year.They need to have staff that can speak/understand English better than they do or they should only serve people who speak Thai. Language was not the only issue I had though.

Bad choice

The stuff crew are friendly but the hotel it's not good at all and expensive. There is no egg in their breakfast and no cheese as well also the cups are smelly and their drinking water it's not okay for us. The bed sheet never been change for 3 nights . They ask for deposit 3000 bath when you check in ($1000)

Great hotel!!!

The best hotel of my Asia trip. The rooms are small, but very modern, very clean, there is everything you need and small balcony. The swimming pool is big enough and has plenty of sun beds. Everything is high quality, including the beach towels. Unless you want a massive room, go for this hotel.

Great stay, convenient to beach, minor shopping party areas. But really need to change the breakfast. We stayed for eight days and it was the same breakfast every single day.

Good place, good management...

My room needed to be jazzed up, paint, bedding etc... when I first arrived it was musty and smelly. Eventually the AC cleared out the smell. The Management took notice of my displeasure and did everything in their power to move me to a nicer room. I just hate to change rooms after you have settled in. I cannot say enough about their efforts. Overall the Hotel is really good in a great location.

Very budget budget hotel. Everything about this hotel screamed budget \ cheap. Bedding was clean, however room was small. Breakfast poor for price paid cheapest versions of everything. Large cheap package tours stay here not nearly enough sun beds, pool fun of totally out of control screaming kids. If all you want is a clean bed near to beach ok otherwise you can do a lot better.

Not a good experience.

We stayed there for 2 nights in the family room. The hotel staff did not clean the room in the second day and also did not replace the liquid soap in the dispenser. Not a good experience considering the room rental paid. Only good this about this hotel is that its in Patong area.

My stay was amazing. The room that I got was excellent. Room service was on point and fast. Everythin is near to this hotel. I would def come back again

It was an easy accessible to all areas. Not too crowded and no traffic congestion. Beautifully located midway to walking street and other eatery joints. Very clean rooms and prompt services.

Noisy and inconsiderate

Hotel staff yelling and screaming outside my room at 1 am trying to fix door after repeated attempts calling reception to tell them to be quiet. Receptions response was we can’t do anything about it sorry. Inconsiderate other guests with yelling and loud music playing with there doors wide open etc etc

IBIS Patong - August 2018

Ibis Patong, is conveniently located - close to Bangla Road and Patong Beach! The Room was comfortable and had a Pool View (216)! I enjoyed my stay there thoroughly!

We changed hotels after one night and didn't get our money back for the 6 nights puad for. Overpriced compared to quality hotels on oceanfront which your can book for the same price with breakfast included. Terrible outlook, room too small and balcony only convenient fir one person.

Great hotel with all the essentials

Walking distance from the beach, a little far from the main strip but walking distance still! Only downside was the breakfast, didn’t really have a great variety of choice!
