The staff it's amazing. Donald in the front desk helped us a lot and Rabia in the breakfast area as well! The room, the family room have a great space for bathroom. The only thing is that the family room still have carpet. The area it's very good, walkable for a lot a places, restaurants, Supermarkets.
The breakfast was nice and the staff were amazingly helpful! Great location with two Metro stops within a short walking distance. A couple places in the room had been missed when cleaning, for example the desk had spots and rings of a sticky substance, but the bathroom and bed were clean.
Beau quartier, hôtel correct.
Calme, confort basic, service ok.
Clean
Clean
Excellent hotel very central clean and great staff.
Very conected to visit Paris
Great location. Clean rooms. Kind and competent staff. Made check-in easy, and helped hold my bags upon early arrival. Will likely book here again once I return to Paris.
I had booked 4 twin rooms of 21 square meters. The staff did not arrange one room with correct size to us, but a small room, (room number 106). When getting the room key, the staff did not even mention it was a smaller room size and did not actively re-arrange us a room of correct room size in the next days. That would be totally disappointed.
Good place to stay with family
Free self serve coffee was wonderful.
The Opera district is clean and safe and well served by public transportation. This Ibis property is well priced and welcomes families. Excellent staff who speak good English as well as other European languages. Small rooms as is the European style but very functional. I would stay here again.
Great stay with fantastic service and room
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My son is in a wheelchair and the staff were very helpful. The room we had was a great size and super comfortable. Would stay here again.
Excellent stay. Well located hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast options.
I was very close to lots of restaurants and stores however my room was a bit run down. The sink in the bathroom was leaking.
An amazing central Paris option. Clean and simple, completely charming staff, and so well located. We loved the effort made around the Olympics and would return in a heartbeat
Great stay at this hotel. Staff were especially good and friendly. Good size rooms. Clean and tidy.
Superb spacious quiet room. Very nice breakfast with pastries/bread made on site at 4.30am & 8.00am. City tax having increased during Olympics was an unpleasant surprise. Hôtel is walking distance from Gare du Nord. Nearby metros are really convenient, but steps are a killer if you have a case.
MALTRATO
Excellent stay!
good location easy to go famous spot in Paris staff are all good
We were looking for a budget option in Paris. We were happily surprised by very kind and helpful staff, clean simple rooms with a good amount of space (sleeping areas and large bathrooms), especially for Paris. We could easily jump on the metro or bus to get where we needed. On a quiet street just off the main road. If you don’t need guilded decorations and just want a place to sleep, this is a great option at a great price! Would definitely stay here again!
Receptionist at front desk attempted to charge me extra for breakfast which was included in the Expedia original bill It took a hour with the need to call the hotel manager to remove the charge from my credit card Also at our arrival at the hotel the receptionist attempted to charge us higher room rate than one quoted in the booking bill at Expedia.
Excellent location, walkable to Galleries Lafayette and Palais Granier. Friendly staff. Lots of choices for their breakfast buffet.
Everything was good
Good service at lobby!
Enjoy the stay during Christmas. Small room but has what you need. Very nice staff and always ready to help.
Neat n clean
Cute little hotel in a central area. Walkable to a lot, restaurants, supermarkets, shopping and transportation. Room was clean and fresh towels everyday. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was just what we needed to get the day started. Rooms are small but its Paris and we were there to sleep and shower so it was good enough. I would stay again.
The staff appeared to be interested on other things than clients, it appeared they were bother by the client when iformation was requested. Only one black lady staff manage assisted us wen things were needed. The rooms areextra small with no decorations on sight very cold.
No room trash container, no shampoo hair, no room refrigerator, no gel shower
Clean and convenient
Good hotel good value for money
Good ibis hotel in Paris
Stayed at another ibis nearby and that one had more friendly staff. This one had less restaurants but still walkable to major attractions in Paris. Ibis breakfast is a MUST (except the airport one).
Decent hotel
Decent hotel, though the twin beds were rather close. Very clean with daily housekeeping. You would hope that for the price tea and coffee might have been available in the room.
The front desk staff was very nice and accommodating.
Great staff. Everyone was very helpful throughout our stay!
The rooms were quite small but adequate. We have liked a kettle and tea/coffee in the room
Very well located. Staff were generally helpful, and some in particular went way out of their way to help. I had a nice, large double room with a large window on an upper floor facing the courtyard, so it was very quiet. I liked the daily housekeeping (many hotels no longer do this) and they were very diligent about being quiet and only coming to make up the room when I had the sign on the door. There are no safes in the rooms unfortunately, though there are safes available in the lobby. I would definitely stay again.
Rude staff & bad heating
Good location and clean hotel - Heating was not working; although we informed the front desk it wasn't fixed. - Staff at the frontdesk was a little rude. I was trying to repeat what the lady was saying just to confirm, but she was pedant. - We had to wait at the front gate since nobody was present in the front desk and this happened more than once.
It's a clean, well located hotel with helpful staff. For the price I paid, I couldn't have expected any more.
Nice location. But need to spend time and explore the nearby areas. So much to find.
Good price for good location in Paris
Good price-quality ratio and well located in Paris close to restaurants, Opera and metro lines. The decoration is in thee hotel is outdated and the rooms could use updating. Bed matress was good and the room was quite and the air conditioning was working fine so we slept very well. It's a good place to stay for overnight stay when you spent most of the time outside visiting.
Good place, great area of town.
I loved the location. Super easy to get around from that addy. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. Like really so! The staff were all very friendly and helpful and patient with my dodgy French. My room was great and had a street view so I could open the window on occasion.
Good location . Basic & clean
Great location and Great value.
A really enjoyable stay. The hotel is in a good location close to the Opera and major department stores - also easy walking distance from the Louvre and other attractions. The rooms were fresh, clean and with appropriate facilities and the staff could not have been more helpful and pleasant.
Great Hotel
Had room 503..the biggest room I had. GREAT comfort
Good hotel experience after error by Hotel.com
The hotel itself was just right. The staff were great and worked with us after Hotel.com allowed me to reserve 3 rooms when only 2 were available. I am not sure where in the process things fell through but the rooms available on Hotel.com did not match what the hotel actually had.
Nice hotel need some improvement
This is a great hotel with comfortable bed and kind staff service. However, the AC is suck and control wasn’t able to lower temperature. The room was quite hot and we turn the fan up didn’t help. The light bike was flashing whole entire time.
Had to pay City tax on top of what already paid when I booked on Expedia
Okish property with great staff in good area
The staff was super nice and the breakfast fine. The bathroom tiles were a bit moldy. Nothing a good scrubbing wouldn’t fix. The towels were so old that they were almost see thru. We were not able to adjust the A/C in the room. Had to call the reception every time. That is just ridiculous. The area is great with lots of place to eat and shop.
Lovely hotel
Everything was great
Rooms and bathrooms are very small, and air conditioned did not work.
Clean rooms but the hallway smells bad. The receptionists are friendly and accommodating.
Good budget hotel
Rooms are on the small side but adequate for a city break as how much time do you spend in the room. To offset this they are comfortable and gave us a good nights sleep. The breakfast could have done with a wider fruit choice but is a continental breakfast.
The hotel is conveniently located not far from Gare De Nord and within easy walking distance of many good bars and restaurants in the local area. Rooms are a good size and beds are large and comfortable. Good choice at breakfast too. Would recommend the hotel and definitely stay here again on my next trip whether it is for business or pleasure
Location is good. However, the air conditions were not working. I had to practically tell them every day and they promised they would adjust or fix. Nothing for fixed. I feel disappointed that we paid the full price and it wasn’t what we got. The rooms are a little smaller too.
Ibis Paris Opera La Fayette
The hotel was clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Nearby was a grocery store, metro station and a McDonald's. I would stay there again.
HOTEL WAS OK AND ALSO LOCATION BUT I WAS STOLEN 100 EUROS FROM MY WALLET THAT WAS IN A CLOSED TROUSSE ON MY TABLE - I WILL NEVER BOOK A HOTEL WITHOUT A VAULT IN MY ROOM
short stopover on our way to southern France
great service from a helpful front desk made for a pleasant stay at this hotel
Nice hotel with a good location
Had a quick 2 day stay at this hotel. Very well located with lots of food and general amenities available (laundromat, pharmacy, salons, massages, supermarkets, take away/restaurants, etc.) Staff were friendly, rooms are new. overlap very happy.
clean and tiny
The rooms were very small, the bathrooms were even smaller
Money valued
Comfortable & convenient
Good for what we needed
Wanted a place for storage and comfortable sleep and not too far from monuments. Has a funky smokey smell in the room throughout our visit, but other than that, it was just what we needed. Good access to transport and good restaurants nearby.
Very good value for the money.
Great location, clean and pleasing stay.
Very close to not one but TWO metro lines. Also very close to a great grocery store (great for picking up snacks and water bottles.) Wifi was good, room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful in printing flight tickets and opening a bottle of wine we purchased. Over all great stay!
Convenient hotel, botched hotels.com booking
The problem was not with the hotel but with hotels.com booking system thanks to which we ended up with two adjusting rooms with two diuble beds although we clearly specified we were two adults and two children of 14 and 10. There were no adjusting or not adjusting rooms with separate beds available in the hotel.
Nice location good price
The hotel was close to many restaurant, cafe and shops. We could walk to many attractions. The metro station near by. Recommend this hotel.not fancy but comfy.
Good value
Not bad for the price you are paying
Worth staying for a short trip in Paris
Overall was pleasant, apart from the shower, it wasn't strong enough (maybe just our room). And I didn't expect they will charge EUR4 to keep luggages at their lockers after check out, this should be complimentary.
Consistent ibis quality
Inline with other ibis hotels, this ibis is clean, basic, and just what you need for a short stay in Paris. Location is great; it's a brief 2 minute walk to Cadet metro, where line 7 can take you directly to the Louvre.
Good for value
Everything was good except that there was some funky smell coming from the heater (centrally controlled) so we turned it off. Not a big deal.
3 night in Paris
This is a basic hotel located in walking distance to the centre. Staff are helpful. No fridge.
Nice Hotel close to Metro and good shops/eateries
Small but perfectly formed
Overall happy with the hotel and service, perfect for a short break. Rooms and especially the bathroom might be little too small for some people, but its clean and tidy(our room was on the top floor, which can be different sizewise to the rest thou). No luggage room, but lockers at a charge of 2euros.Close to metro stations, bars, restaurants and also a supermarket.Safe and pleasant area.
Nice and comfort stay at reasonable price
Walkable distance to many sightseeing spots and shopping places eg louvre, notre dame cathedral and galleries Lafayette. Friendly hotel staff.
Would recommend
We chose this hotel because of price and location and we were very happy with both. It is close to a metro station, but it is also possible to walk if you like to take in street life on the way down to some of the main sites. The desk staff were very helpful in everything.
Reasonably priced and convenient
We arrived early in the morning and the hotel was kind enough to check us into a ground floor room though our requested room was not yet available which was totally understandable. We were then moved to our requested room the next day for the rest of our stay. Room is small but acceptable for the price. Staff are friendly generally. We made use of the luggage lockers for our big luggages so that we could travel light to London by Eurostar.
You may not get what you expected
The location is good, within 5min walk from Cadet station. Walkable distance to Gallaries Lafayette and the security standard around hotel is good. 2 supermarkets around the corner so it is easy to get quick food and necessities. We arrived at 5pm and quickly got our room. First impression is the room size is okay and it is clean. We carried our luggage with many steps up through the staircase so we felt pretty warm inside the room. However the air conditioning is not running as the hotel switched off manually the air cond of whole building! Unbelievable in a so-called hotel! The staff on duty said she has nothing can be done to us and simply asked us to open the window. They also claimed our 5 stars hotel in Paris do not provide air cond too. (Is it possible ?) Mind you that the hotel states air conditioning is supplied on the web but eventually it is not available!! No refund or no compensation for what they cannot provide as promised. We have to go down to supermarket to get myself chilled before going back to room. This is the major downside of this hotel - please do not expect something that they guarantee to provide even stated in their web clearly. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever experienced in any of the hotel worldwide.
Nice hotel, great location
Staff was very kind and helpful. Location is great as it is right next to Cadet metro station.
Hidden gem
This is my 3rd trip to Paris - and this hotel was one of the best in terms of price, cleanliness, and location.
Good Holiday Hotel
A pleasant hotel in a good location handy to LaFayette Galleries as well as walking distance to hop on hop off bus, Eurostar Station and local attarctions. Not really suitable for business travellers unless doing business in surrounding areas
Don go to hotel during spring or summer
The hotel provides the basic necessities and convenience with the location. Staff were very friendly with the advice of tours and shopping. Free WIFI was provided by the hotel. The only bugbear is the lack of air-conditioning during spring or summer. We were told that it will only be available during May onwards, which resulted in a stuffy and hot room for our stay. Opening the windows is not a good option which results in no privacy with other residence facing the hotel. Would definitely recommend for people considering good service and location but not in Spring.
Surprisingly good hotel for Paris
Surprisingly good hotel for Paris center. Very good location, service and room.
Estuvo bien para ser un ibis.
Next to a blocked road, so the street is very quiet at night and modern
It is clean, nice and modern. Nice place to stay with good price
Semplice e accogliente.
