Great stay for a couple of nights. In a less touristy part of town, so there are some great local restaurants nearby. Also very close to both the metro and the train station. The staff is very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed. We would stay here again.
Visiting from Toronto
Perfect stay, very clean …. On the smaller side but had all amenities… recommended 100%…very good breakfast, lots of choices, will book on my next trip to Paris for sure… stayed there at the end of September
You know what to expect with an Ibis
You know what you are getting with an Ibis, no frills but just the things you need for a one or two night stay. The reception staff were friendly and check in was quick.
It was a good bef
Good Hotel but a little far from Paris center.
We went close to the Olympics 2024 and most of the hotels were full and ended in this hotel. For us was a little further from the center of Paris, so is required to take the Metro train to visit important places. Beside that issue the rest was ok. We didn't take the breakfast because was not that great and they remove quickly.
Really good little hotel found in a vibrant part of Paris . Loads of restaurants, bars to suit everyone ,shops supermarkets. The young lady who welcomed us at nearly midnight on our arrival was lovely and great customer service
Great location, clean and very nice staff!
Excellent breakfast. Not that close to Gare du Lyon. Good value however
I think it was remodeled recently. Clean and nice.
Perfectly fit for a short stay in Paris. Nearby Metro stations, close enough to Gare de Lyon and to the La Bastille area. Pretty clean, quiet and comfortable.
I ended up checking in in the middle of the night quite distressed as all my money had been pickpocketed at the airport - the man at the desk at that point was fabulous and so helpful giving me numbers to call as well directions to the nearest police station. My mother and I loved the room that we stayed in which was quaint but perfect for a weekend away and the shower was clean and gorgeous. Breakfast was also lovely. Have booked the same hotel for another weekend break this comimg January so fingers crossed its as good as I remember!
It’s an okay stay if you just need a bed to sleep. Location is good near the metro.
Nice area close to metro, breakfast is good, rooms are a little small. Staff are nice, but when I was checking out he wanted me to pay for breakfast and taxes which I already prepaid
Very good hotel.
Very friendly service. The room was clean and elegant. Though the room is compact, it matches the price. The breakfast was delicious.
Convenient
Convenient location. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff.
Good hotel with excellent amenities. Good position for are de lyon
Very helpful staff that allowed me early checkin after 48hr flight journey..much appreciated. Tea/coffee making tray in room would be appreciated.otherwise all very good thank you. Always use Ibis all around the world..good value.
Close to metro and wide variety of restaurants. Only issue was hotel didn't have face wash clothes
Overall okay
We stayed at Ibis as we had a pne night stop over in Paris. Overall the experience was okay, the positives included that the man at the front desk was friendly and accommodated us and the location is good as its 20 minutes away from Gare De Lyon. The room was clean. However the room sizr was small and the shower pressure was mediocre. All in all thought, it was okay.
Good Location
Hotel was totally fine, somewhere cheap and clean and good location
Decently priced, decent and clean amenities with a great location
Clean but small room
Tidy and clean. However the room ( the bathroom!) is a bit small.
Staff was very helpful and nice overall, close to most of places via metro. Excellent location close to restaurants and bars.
We stayed in several other ibis hotel is in Paris in the past. Actually over 10 years ago. This property has it listed next to Gard de Lyon Station. But in fact, it’s about one mattress topper way still pretty close. But not walkable very easily. What I liked about the property is that it was between two metro stations-the Line 1 was the only station we used and it gave good connections to everywhere. Many of the stops we wanted to go we’re right on the Line 1 Metro. I will say having stayed at at least a dozen Ibis hotels around the world, The ram in this property was one of the smallest I’ve ever been in. Another negative is that the entire block across the street is being built pretty condos and they started grinding and drilling starting around 8 o’clock in the morning. Not a problem press because you’re ready to hit the road. But if you’re a late sleeper, this might be a distraction. Also, unlike most of the Ibis hotels I’ve stayed at before, the management at this property it was a little aloof. Also there was a bit of a communication problem. Just outside the front door to the right around the corner has a small grocery store to get your water, other items. And just outside of the entrance for the metro line 1 o’clock there is a fantastic bakery and pastry shop that’s always doing to good crowd. My general thoughts are and if I go back to Paris I probably would look at another property within central Paris there’s plenty of other Ibis properties.
This was in a great area to walk around...we found a bakery for our breakfasts, and plenty of bars and restaurants at night. It's also very close to two subway stations and walkable to the Seine (about 20 mins walk though). The hotel was clean, comfortable bed, good AC and friendly staff. My only complaint is that the subway could be heard from the room, which I thought would really bother me, but it wasn't too noticeable with the AC on. Also the subway stops running around 12:30 at night, so it didn't bother our sleep.
Holliday
The room is a small only 15 m2 a little far from gare de lyon
Passed very good times, people are always ready to help
good location. just next to 2 metro stations, lots of restaurants & markets...
We walked away from this booking.
We had chosen this hotel as (1) in New Zealand IBIS are recognised as a better quality hotel, and (2) "proximity" to Gare de Lyon. It is not particularly close to the Gare de Lyon (we chose a taxi), and it is not a "better quality" hotel. On viewing our prepaid room and seeing the size (there was little spare room around the bed which had a concave mattress and the "phone box" sized bathroom/toilet) we asked if there were any better rooms. The staff very politely said we had one of the best rooms and kindly showed us another room - no better. They said that is how it is in Paris. Not strictly true - we had stayed in Paris a "month" earlier and had a very comfortable few nights in an historic hotel in Saint Germaine des Pres . The lift here is listed for 6 persons. My wife and I with 70L and 60L suitcase filled the lift. There is only one lift to service all floors (42 rooms) including service staff. The corridor felt claustrophobic (I am prone to mild claustrophobia) and felt like a potential fire hazard as when we arrived a cleaning trolley was in the passage and our suitcases barely fitted past. You would need a particularly strong reason to stay here when there are many better hotels at similar prices in areas much closer to the areas which make Paris so wonderful.
Great staff!
The staff make this place a fantastic hotel. Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again.
Conveniently located near a metro station, nice area to walk with a market not far.
Convenient to station
Two small rooms next to each other for a family of four. For the price was great value. As just a stop over it was fine. Breakfast was nice.
Good for quick trips where you won't spend lots of time in the hotel
Great service with kind staff
We didn't spend a whole lot of time in our room, since we had other things to do, but the staff was very professional, and the rooms were very clean and nice, if a little small. If you're not planning on being in your room a lot, this hotel is perfect for you. It's fairly central to the city, but still far away enough that the city noises don't bother you.
Clean basic hotel
10 mins from gare du lyon
Good handy hotel. Very clean. Friendly staff. Stayed one night on travel through Paris.
Great for a short stay
This hotel has everything you need for a short stay or if you plan on not spending too long in the hotel. Check in was easy and quick. The room was comfortable with a nice bathroom and comfortable bed. There was a small balcony also! Would recommend as in a convenient but quiet location with cafes, restaurants, bars and the metro very nearby.
Small but nice room
Near to train station, small room bit coozy, clean anda confortable. The staff was really nice anda helpful
Really good little hotel, close to metro, good selection of bars and places to eat. Room was small but clean. Great base hotel for exploring Paris.
Okay. Won't go again though.
Small ish room, compared to U.K. ibis', also no tea making facilities in room. Also breakfast was nothing to shout about, maybe it's the French way of living. Okay, although £91 for one night was a bit steep. Nice balcony doors though.
Bed for the night
We chose the hotel as it was close to the Gareth December Lyonshall. We had an afternoon and evening good in Paris so the hotel close to the metro was perfect for us.
2 night stay
good location, good hotel although rooms are tiny
Close to metro station and bus stop
I booked it early and I got a good rate. Basic, clean and safe hotel. Staff are welcoming. It is close to metro station (line 8) and bus stop to Gare du Nord. There are supermarkets and plenty of restaurants (western and Chinese) around. Overall an enjoyable stay in Paris.
Confusion about name
Shower was very poor;room was very small. There are 2 Ibis hotels near the train and we had to walk a long distance to the other one.
Good enough for price and location
Staff were friendly during checking in and out. It's worth bearing in mind though that even from my room on the 7th floor I could hear and somewhat feel trains passing through the underground. I could also hear the lift being used during the night. These are only minor negatives and may only impact other light sleepers.
Good choice for business trip
My room was on the 1st floor, and I expected to hear lots of noise during the night. But it was quiet enough as the hotel is not located on the busy street. Nevertheless, within less than 5 minutes walk, 2 metro lines can be reached, and there're plenty of restaurants, bakery shops, convenient stores. The location turns out to be great.
Business hotel in Paris
Great hotel for business - comfortable, easy access and car parking
Nice hotel in quiet area of paris.
easy access by metro to main attractions in paris (choice of 2 metros 1 less than 50m away and the other about 300m), friendly staff, very clean. it is possible to hear the metro underneath the hotel at certain times but this has to be expected with a metro stop so close.
Alternative to expensive hotel in Gare de Lyon
The hotel is not close to the Gare de Lyon station but still within walkable distance like 15-20mins. Quite but convenience which is close to subway exit. The staff is helpful, the room is clean and the service is up to standard.
Nice Hotel. Quite a long way from Gare de Lyon
Room was teeny.......like most Paris hotels, but spotless and comfortable. Nice breakfast (French-style, no fried food!) in small modern room. Friendly and helpful staff. BUT much further from the station than we anticipated.......walking distance only for the very fit and young!
good for price
Close to line 1 metro which has all the tourist sites. Car parking not guaranteed. Very tight squeeze as parking is underground via car lift. No tea making facilities in room.
Convenient location
This is an adequate hotel in a good situation for easy access to metro and bus service. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Nice hotel
Was very nice and clean, but the room was tiny. Elevator was also tiny, there were 2 in my party and we had to go up the elevator separately with our luggage since we couldn't fit. It's a bit further from Gare de Lyon then I expected, but it's a short bus ride away. The neighbourhood has lots of food nearby with a wonderfully little pâtisserie down the block.
Ideal location to explore this exciting city.
Fantastic location close to Metro. Parking a tad expensive but what you would expect in Paris. Restricted diet so can't comment on food as not catered for but plenty of restaurants/cafe's nearby. Room small but clean and comfortable. An ideal base to explore Paris. Book early to get room discounts :)
je reviendrai chez vous
parking sécurisé . personnel attentif, aimable, tout était parfait. Hôtel calme proche des bouches de métro.
Ok
Dentro do Esperado
No geral atendeu a minha expectativa, dentro do padrão Ibis e localização.
Tres proche gare de lyon. Accueil et service impeccable. Grande gentillesse du personnel. Je recommande
Doen!
Leuke wijk!!! Leuke restaurantjes.
Its ok
Bon rapport qualité prix
Ras
Slechts één minpunt: de kamer was bijzonder klein.
Conveniently located, affordable prices, kindness of personnel.
Perto do metrô

The staff were so helpful and were able to store my luggage when we went to Disneyland before check-in. The shower was hot, the bed comfortable and the wifi fast - thanks ibis!
