Roof leaking on top of the bed
Staffs are friendly.
Location: The hotel is perfectly situated from Paris Gare de Nord, a 5-15 mins.walk. It is 30 mins.from Gare de Lyon station by car. A lot of parisian restaurant nearby. The Eiffel tower is 1 hour and 30 mins.to walk from the hotel. Pharmacy and a lot of stores nearby. Metro is 5 minutes walk. Safe to walk as a family. This hotel is a modern looking and newly renovated. Elevator is available, very helpful for carrying luggages to the floor. Wide and well lit stairs available if preferred. Clean facilities. Breakfast lounge is located on the first floor. Rooms are great. We got a king size bed plus a single bed in one room and fits perfectly. There are automatic blinds available if want to entirely close the window. We are impressed with how quiet it is even it is located in a busy area. Blow dryer in bathroom available. No iron and ironing board available. No hotel slipper available. Safe is available in room. There are also rooms with balcony which the view is not bad at all. Overall experience is great! I highly recommend!
Hotel has small rooms , good beds and air conditioning. The hotel itself was not easy to navigate with long hallways, stairs and doors to connect the front desk to our room. Outside the hotel was not ideal and did not feel quite safe , though the proximity to gare de l’ est was convenient to catch our train the following day.
Perfect
It’s okay
Great hotel, clean, comfortable and in an excellent location. The staff could not have been more helpful or kind. Highly recommend.
well located and a warm welcome
a quiet room. I've been welcomed by a very kind man
Interesting feature was water coming out of the light fitting over the sink in the bathroom. Didn’t happen all the time so disappointing.
The area doesn’t feel so safe as others in Paris but the hotel is good value for the price
I didn’t like anything the twin share room was way too small for 2 people. The breakfast was inconsistent and it states for laundry service but doesn’t. The elevator took so long to move between 3 floors and the service at the drinks counter was extremely poor.
Rooms are poorly laid out extremely small and the door card is always playing up. The breakfast service is rubbish always having to wait for items to be replenished.
Check in was easy however I tried to call the property multiple times before my stay to check with them if they were experiencing any bed bug problems. They would answer the phone and then hang up on you. I called about 7 times in a row and got hung up on every time. After arriving a lovely maintenance man helped me tape my luggage back together and really took his time and that helped ALOT. However after arriving to my room and inspecting the bed I was met with a bed bug on the bed. I took a photo straight away and went downstairs to change my room. They tried to say the bug was not a bed bug and that the cleaner would change the sheets. I let them know that I would need a whole new room. They maid followed me to the old room while I was collecting my things and she looked at the bed and said “it’s all good” I let her know that a bed that had a bug on it would never be all good. Later the next day she barged into my room at 6am and did not leave my room until I asked her to leave. This was terrifying because I had no idea who it was and disturbing that she didn’t leave on her own after noticing I was sleep in the bed.
Check in was painless
Location was great, staff was amazingly helpful when id made a booking mistake. Djibril sorted it no problem
Good location, hassle free checkin, checkout and breakfast
We had a bright light from outside shining directly into our beds the entire night. Replacing the super thin white curtains for some blackouts would easily resolve the problem. Our beds were super uncomfortable and the comforter sheets were so thin The room decor was pretty bleak. Felt like a fancier hostel in all honesty.
Space in room was extremely limited.
Clean and convenience. Easy to access to metro
Bulat at front desk was very welcoming and accomodating. Thank you. Rooms were niceand beds were comfortable.
Staff were excellent. Room was small.
Too small compared with advertising in internet. Too loud at night due to the Bar close to the hotel.
Hotel is very closed to the Gare de l’Est. However air conditioner has never worked. The room is very small and very hot. I spent two nights and can’t sleep as room was very hot.
Too noisy the room street
All good!
I feel this review should be in two parts as firstly the hotel is functional and for a night stopover it’s perfectly located for main rail connections, has cafe’s and bars close by, the staff are great and helpful, breakfast was typical of an Ibis and several options again close by if you wish. With that being said there are a lot and I mean a lot of men alone and in groups hanging around the area 24hr a day and could be off putting to some travelling so worth noting. The bedroom was small but expected that and with two suitcase you were climbing over them a lot, what wasn’t expected was the bed, oh my word I’ve never come across such a hard piece of foam which had a thin topper to take the edge off, couple of minutes in bed and it felt like lying on a pavement. You get what you pay for with this and we had no reason to complain but you need to watch your expectations when booking, which is a shame as I said the staff were brilliant
The location is great for those travelling by train into and out of city, however the rooms are very basic and in need of repair as we had a faulty air conditioning unit. The rooms come with one pillow per person and requests for additional are met with a hard no, and then a maybe but then when you seek to collect the pillow you are informed there are no more at any rate. The breakfast is very basic also. An ok place to stay overall but not one to recommend easily.
Very convenient location, just two minutes walking distance from train station Paris East. Variety of food choices around the hotel. Very small, tiny rooms. Clean and nice. Well English speaking stuff.
Close to Gare de l’Est. Walked with all of our luggage. We were able to checkin early.
Nice central location, next to vital travel facilities, nice little room, nice staff
Very small rooms. Beds were sub standard
Very close to transit, and shops
My daughter and I stayed here for first trip to Paris. Was great location, clean, and wonderful air conditioning. I’d definitely recommend and price was very reasonable.could walk or take metro everywhere needed.
Find another place if possible
Nothing was possible for them. We asked months before our arrival for a room high up in the building. They gave us one at the lowest possible floor. We complained and were asked to wait an hour with the result of the second lowest. We asked for a late check out. This was not possible in any way. Lastly, the breakfast was terrible. I have traveled a lot and this was on of the worst I have ever experienced. The things that should be warm was cold. There was very few items to choose from. The items that were supposed to be available was not available. The restaurant was small and dirty. The tables were only cleaned if you asked. Even though we had bought breakfast for three person for our seven days stay, we only are there twice. The rest of the days we had to find other places to eat. There are many more things, but these were the major points.
Staff are good bed were made every day clean
The A/C didn't work at all and they changed the room for us the 2nd night, but still A/C was weak. The card key works only the first time to open the door, then gets error afterwards. Very plain room with weak disposable paper cups. At least glasses can be provided. Water bottle filling service at the reception was a good thing.
Brilliant, it was in a great location with a lot of life in the area. Food and drinks were never far with a super market near by. Staff was very nice and it was great inside the rooms.
Location was very convenient to the train station and ideal for our one night stay. Reception were friendly, helpful and spoke very good English. Breakfast had a good selection of food and value for money.
Horrible service, Horrible Location.
The hotel is close to the Gate de L’Est main station and metro and a short walk from the Gare du Nord. It’s a 30 minute walk into the centre of Paris. I would stay here again.
Nice location!
Quiet area
Hotel was a bit dated in the rooms… quite small and basic but the staff were very pleasant and helpful… area is a bit like King’s Cross in the U.K. so a little on the rough side but very convenient for transportation. Beds were comfortable enough
great
Saw the property from outside and the surrounding appeared unsafe. I didn't even want to be in that area so I didn't even check in the hotel.
Surprise 70 euro fee when checking in. Seems standard. I wish I would’ve known that after I thought I fully paid for the room already…
You get what you pay for. Small rooms but location is right by main train station. Overall clean but very low end rooms.
Nice location, very close to the train station. Staff were helpful. I stayed for 3 days. Room is small. Would stay again for the price. Sort of 2-3 star in my opinion
Great friendly staff. Convenient to public transportation. Clean rooms.
abdul was extremely helpful and very good hotel
Good hotel, friendly staff, decent breakfast, comfortable bed. Location useful for Gare de L'Est / Gare du Nord
Bonne adresse
Hôtel agréable et propre. Personnel sympathique.
Had to take the room key everyday to reception to be reprogrammed
Thank you.
Staff was very helpful and kind. Rooms are very small with little or no storage for your belongings.
Very close to main stations and convenient.
Would stay here again
Great location, near to the Gare de l'Est and less than 10 minute walk from Gare du Nord. Rooms were small, as you'd expect in Paris, but comfortable with good bathrooms.
Very convenient location close to the metro! We never felt unsafe in the area, even at night. The rooms were comfortable and the staff was very kind.
I enjoyed the simplicity of the room. The stylish feel to the corridors and building itself. The common area for the guests to relax and mingle. It was a great experience in Paris and to come back to a comfortable bed after long hours of walking and exploring the city, was very much needed.
The STARs are accurate for the property.
Nice place to stay for a few days. Breakfast its really good.
We got to this property and they said they had no booking for us and we had to find another hotel ourselves . The receptionist was very unhelpful I had been sending and receiving messages to and from the hotel before my visit yet when we tried to book in they had no trace of us ! Then they tried to take money from my account 2 hours after they had turned us away !
Staff very pleasant. The room was very small
Good location Nice staff Good breakfast Quite The area around the hotel is very crowded
Small room but decent facilities. Breakfast good. Staff helpful. Well located for 2 main stations
Great rate and convenient too
Great spot, made for an excellent stay. Good service. Convenient, close to Tran station. Only 1 minor complaint…1 dirty towel was left in our room when we arrived. Small oversight.
This was a typical Ibis Red hotel, small and clean with well trained helpful staff BUT there were no blinds or drapes on the windows through which we could see into windows across the street and the people across the street could wave at us.
The room was, as expected very small but it had all the necessities including a small hanging closet and a bathtub. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. All in all it was a bit nicer than we expected but there was nothing other than the desk clerks that was outstanding.
The location is good. The hotel rooms need an upgrade
Don’t accept the room next to the elevator shaft.
This was a really mixed bag. We chose the hotel because of its proximity to transit links at Gare de l’Est and Gare du Nord. There were a couple of good restaurants nearby but the neighborhood was a little rough—especially as one moves through the 10th and approaches the 2nd Arr. The other positive was the breakfast. Standard Ibis fare, but they provided a tray and allowed us to take breakfast to the room. Negatives: we stayed for 4 nights. The Wi-Fi was out for nearly 3 of those days. The staff could not give us updates about when the Wi-Fi would go back on. We spent much of 2 days working on the Wifi at a nearby cafe. The first two nights we were given a room in which the headboard literally was next to the elevator shaft (separated by a thin, not at all soundproof wall). The elevator was very loud and the door closes with a slam—meaning from ~7:30 PM until 2 AM and again at 6:30 AM all you hear is the sound of the elevator. We did not sleep the first night, asked to be moved the 2nd night, were told there was nothing available that night, and finally were given a new room for the final 2 nights. That room was much better and quieter. The last night, with the quiet room and working Wi-Fi, was the Ibis experience we expected. The staff was pleasant but it seemed that they were really limited in their ability to deal with any problems. Whoever manages the hotel for Ibis needs to empower the staff to more effectively deal with problems at the property.
The hotel was okay. The rooms are tiny, very loud at night. It’s near the station, but wasn’t a fan of the area, very sketchy.
Clean small rooms. Breakfast good except no toothbrush and kettle for water.
Tiny rooms, wifi didn’t work, staff ranging from rude to ok at best. Surrounding area not best.
Check in staff spoke a bit of English, gave me wrong key card first round and apologized for it. Not too bad. The room was okay, not loud since my window was not facing the street. The area is convenient as it's next to Gare du Nord and Gare de l'est. The area around the hotel can be somewhat sketchy.. saw an encounter where a man was dragged off a bus then later detained by police and broke a window and bled from his head. But that could happen in any city. There are lots of great restaurants near the hotel. If you're looking for a nice bakery I suggest Le Pain des Copains. They have amazing breads and quite cheap. Younger staff also speaks good English.
The hotel was fine! It was very clean, the breakfast was very good. The area around the hotel was not the best.
This was an OK hotel, it was very low cost but in an area that was convenient to travel on the metro. The breakfasts were wonderful, I loved those.
Nice hotel, very close to train station that takes you to airport. However, be warned that you will have to pay a deposit of the entire stay and then pay for you stay on top of that. You will get your money back once you check out. I wasn’t informed of this and it cost me £600, £300 was the deposit. It’s unfair that I wasn’t told that as usually with Ibis you only pay for one days night as a deposit. So make sure you have enough money for your stay and the deposit
Chaiza was very friendly and helpful.
Close to main stations
The room was very small but comfortable and very very quiet which was great! Less than a block from the metro.
Good for the price
excellent stay and great location
TOP
Bon accueil. Personnel chaleureux. Proche gare de l'Est. Calme.
Great location, small and basic but modern and clean rooms, friendly staff.
every hotel should have a receptionist like Damien! excellent service!

Klimanlage alt und laut.Frühstück qualitativ schlecht.
…..
Fräscht hotel väldigt nära Gare de Est
Fint mycket kompakt rum.

We were warmly welcomed. The property within itself is a bit dated. The towels were a little stained. The location right next to gare de l'est is good.
