close to all amenities and Metro however, crappy room for 3 people, washroom is too small, bedding was dirty had to ask the staff for a clean bedding , staff were good and helpful. Photos on the internet can be deceptive, can't they?
Location
The room is extremely small, with only the most basic amenities
The night shift receptionist is ignoring me when I ask if I can keep my luggage in the hotel. Not smiling, no eye contact, no communication. He just gave the tag. He is busy doing something in the computer.
Enjoyed my stay. Clean efficient and affordable. Only complaint is there is no hairdryer at this property which is surprising as I just stayed in another ibis property for 10 days in Paris
.
Overall good hotel for 1 or 2 night stay. Our rooms were below ground so we were not too thrilled but it's ok for short stay. Room for 3 bed had 2 bathrooms which was plus and was handy with our kid. Staff was helpful. Close to metro station.
Rooms are very small it’s ridiculous
Shower space is less than one meter due to taps and small shower L espace dans la douche est de moins d un mètre en raison de la taille de la robinetterie et de la petite taille de la douche
It's a typical ibis hotel, great for budget minded travelers or business accommodations. The air conditioning does not work. Not acceptable during the summer.
I’ts very convenient for metro, bus and tram Lot of Asians restaurant in walking distant
I liked the location of the hotel. The hotel room we got was small but we managed also what I did not like was we had no A/C because of the time of the year we were told but over all, I loved the hotel and location. Will be booking again in the future.
It was just okay. Room very small
Horrible bed and pillows! Impossible to sleep! Very disappointed from Ibis group!!!
Top notch
Everything I expected - friendly, warm, clean, great continental breakfast with takeaway hot drink a nice touch. Close to Metro with 3 lines including direct line to Gare du Nord and close to reasonable bars/bistros/cafes especially on the Rue Butte aux Cailles area
Nice hotel, very nice and helpful staff.
kay
Good location, clean and good service.
It's clean, convenient location (we chose this location because of the proximity to the metro, but the strike prevented us to use it. LOL). Good breakfast, ad there's a shopping mall across. The room was super tiny so don't bring large suitcases. Staff members were very friendly and helpful.
Room was comfortable and clean. Need a water or heating source. Breakfast had no variety
very convenient location. metro line 5, 6, 7 can bring you steps to hotel location.. also multiple bus route. Very convenient location if you are planning to take public transportation. . Hotel room is very small but clean.
The hotel was in a LOVELY location near the metro and many restaurants. Our room was never cleaned for 3 nights, we practically begged for towels, and our shower wasn't draining. The women at the front desk weren't very helpful and did the bare minimum. The rooms were small and didn't have many amenities. The man that works overnight, Jean-Paul was very professional and nice. He even offered us breakfast. He should work during the day as he's more friendly. Overall, I will not return to this hotel.
Very pleasant staff very helpful nice clean hotel enjoyed our stay
Rooms are very tiny and thought they were over priced. You can smell the cigarette smoke from other rooms, the A/C is not that cold. Water pressure is not that strong. Sink smells and we actually had to buy airfreshner. Loc is Across from a supermarket and 10 mins walk from train station and restos which is convenient. It's still a disppointing experience.
The staff are very helpful and friendly and they are very accommodating.
Localização e preço é os acessos fica perto de metro tem supermacado perto... É zona calma mas perto do centro
Bathroom is small and tight.
Everything were pretty good and were working perfectly well except the bathroom. The bathroom door's locked was broken or not working and same for the exhaust/ventilator in the bathroom.
Good overall
Hotel a bit far from centre of Paris, so you need to to add around €10 a day for metro and city tax in top of what you pay for the hotel. On the plus side the metro station is near the hotel, and the room, although small, is very clean. Also, shopping centre and many restaurants close by. Well worth the price for a Paris hotel.
Good!
Nice hotel with welcoming and helpful staff. Well maintained. Good quality/price!
Breakfast was good... We were not informed by the front desk regarding the upcoming demonstration of the yellow vest... Luckily we noticed the soldiers fully armed standing near the Metro stations so we decided not to go out to see places. bought lunch and dinner for the day.we were trapped inside the room that day and we can hear the noise and smell the gunpowder when opened the window...safety was not addressed to the people booked to their hotel especially to tourists.
I got to Ibis on a friday since i had to catch a tour closed by. The hotel is conveniently located in a zone where you find restaurants, stores , metro. Situated 20 minutes away from the Eiffel and major landmarks , museums. It was my first time in paris and Ibis made it easy and convenient Room cleaned , small but enough for my stay.
I stayed 1 night so I could catch my tour pick up, but I love it. The room was cleaned the staff very helpful. The front girl guided me on how to get to the Eiffel tower and handed me a map. The location is convenient; around restaurants, shops, train 1 block away . I am coming back 1 more night before heading back to new york city
Good experience
Good hotel, close to Place d´Italie metro station and shopping! Staff was nice! Next to rental car agency, pharmacy and bakeries.
Tiny room in convenient location
I am familiar with Ibis (a fairly standardized, mid-range European hotel chain) from past trips. They always provide no-frills but comfortable and affordable lodgings, and this one was no different. Room a bit smaller than other hotels in the chain, and distribution of space a bit odd. Still, bed was comfortable and room was clean. Location just off Place d'Italie (major square with shopping mall, restaurants, and access to three Metro lines) very convenient. AC was out of order for part of stay (not hotel's fault, but due to local construction), but fortunately weather was mild.
lovely staff, clean rooms
I checked in they were very helpful, even held onto some keys and luggage after I checked out because my flight wasn't until much later in the evening
Very basic. No frills. Good deal for the price. Vinegar scent on towels and linens was not pleasant.
Disapering my hair dryer.
Lost my hair dryer during staying in the hotel on the second day. I had been followed with staff every single day as I was staying there four niggts but no one can give me an answer even the manager. They also had a positive feeling about thier staff that it was impossible to take guests belongings. I asked to see the security camera however, I was refused by the staff due to security reasons. It was very disappointing and time consuming for us to follow up this issue when we were on a holiday.
On my booking paper the stated checkin time was at noon, but we were made to wait until two o'clock. The room was very tiny, it was difficult to move around.
Staffs were friendly and courteous. Room make up was done perfectly. Really enjoy the stay
Ibis Paris Avenue d'Italie 13ème is a very nice hotel. The building is a bit old but they have maintained it well. My room was in the second floor and didn't have a view out of my window. I booked a single room as I was on an official trip. The room was very neat and they cleaned it every day. The staff were really nice and helping.
No a/c and was to hot
Parking in Paris
We were looking for a hotel with parking. This has one. Small but suitable. The young lady who checked us in was particularly helpful, kind and accommodating. It's Ibis standard: comfort, cleanliness, size. Neighborhood was pleasant, lots of restaurants.
small room but tidy and clean
room is a little bit small for 2 people. not enough bathroom tissue stock at the reception. no kettle or coffee making facility
Nice place to stay
the hotel is near super market and McDonald and Metro station, it is convenient to travel around city.
Clan hotel close to restaurants metro and bus
We enjoyed our stay very good location close to mall,McDonald’s,metro and bus station
good hotel at that price, the room with 2 windows which can look to different direction ! Very near the metro station ( d'Italie ), and near some good Vietnamese food restaurants (Pho 13, Pho Mui...)
Close to metro for sightseeing
Lovely little hotel, near to the metro so easy enough to get to the sights! Lots of little restaurants around the hotel, would definitely stay here again
Overall good experience. Close to a big Shopping center. Nice breakfast. Lovely staff and very helpful.
Two nights in Paris
The hotel was very quiet and the bed was comfortable, with good quality bedding. The size of the room was okay - double bed with space to move around and space also for luggage. It's in a very good location - less than 5 minutes from Place d'Italia metro station. Great value for money. I would definetly look to stay here again.
Small but efficient
Convenient location
Quite convenient location, well communicated. Single romos are a Little small but clean and quite.
Great Deal
|I love Paris, |I thought the hotel was a great deal. The staff was amazing.
Perfectly acceptable hotel near to Place d'Italie with good access to metro, bus and trams for getting around. Basic but in good condition with good service.
Could do better
It was okay. A hotel that'll almost provide with what you'll essentially need: Free WiFi, a clean and comfortable bed and a hot shower and sink; A few things lacking were that our room didn't come with a kitchenette or an iron with ironing board. Apparently, a mini-bar would only be available upon request. There is a good breakfast buffet in the basement but you'll have to pay 10.50 euro for each day you choose to eat there. The area is not very pleasant and you'll have to walk for 7 minutes to the nearest metro but there are a lot of restaurants, mostly halal Turkish food. I must also mention that the room was kept exceptionally clean and the heating was excellent in both the room and bathroom. Also, the staff are really friendly, helpful and are able to speak English. All in all, good for the price if you're not too keen on staying in the hotel all day and if you are looking to save extra money.
Convenient hotel
The location is really nice! Close to metro station. The staff is very kindly. It is a convenient hotel for some days in Paris.
very small room. no confort. not even a coffee machine
Very small room
Stayed in this hotel for 2 night. Room was very small. Hardly any space after placing our laguage. Breakfast had limited spread. Good thing is the hotel is closer to the metro station.
A tight squeeze
The staff at the reception was exceptional, very accommodating, attentive and kind. The rooms are small, like in tiny. I know this is Paris and the rooms are expensive, but next time I will look for something bigger. It felt like we were in a third class cruise cabin.
Great Hotel
It was perfect. Close to public transportation. Safe neighborhood to walk around at night.
Nice Hotel
The hotel is located in a nice area, 500 Ft away from the Metro station. Across the street of a very nice mall, and surrounded by small cafe shops, restaurants, etc. The room we had was at the Rooftop, good view to the street. Not a huge room, but very comfortable. Wifi Included.
Excellent cost-benefit.
Overall good place to stay. Very close to Place D'Italie: metro station, cafeterias, and a big mall.
Great hotel and staff
Nice location. Closer to the metro station. Room size and bathroom is very small. But everything else was good.
Nice hotel close to everything
ibis hotel, provided me with information and met my needs for my stay in Paris. I will definitely visit again. Thank you, for helping me throughout my stay in Paris. Visiting the many sites, with a hotel that has everything near by made it easier. Thanks again.
Nice hotel, well located.
Very nice stay. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Great location, close to a very central train station, big mall and market just across the street. Very clean room and comfortable bed but shower is really really really small, if you are tall and/or big you just won't fit inside it. Air conditioner just wasn't enough for a 30/40 degree weather of August, too hot!!!! It would work for a mild weather but something should be done for summer times.
exellent Hotel
nice stay
nice stay
4 day stay; nice
Enjoyed a very comfortable stay, staff extremely helpful and friendly and facilities very good. Really comfortable beds, good shower, strong wifi, all in all a very pleasant stay.
Close to everything
Close to everything. Everytime we order a cab or uber it stops at the car park entrance instead of the front of hotel. Overall it was great.
Missing Facilities
It was not bad, what make it hard that there was no facility; such a mini bar as i got food and did not know how to keep it and also drinks could not jeep it cold. There was no safe box to keep money and passport. One time electricity was cut and another time the hot water was not available. On the check in day, room was not ready and i kept waiting for 45 min although the receptionist did not notify me, and after i went up aga in to check it ; I found the ladyd did not start at yet although she was in front of it when i arrived and discovered it atill need to be cleaned.
My first room is small and slap water leak The hotel can not fix it for another 3 days The hotel give me another room right away
Clean, convenient and comfortable
This is a very nice place - very clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again. It is very close to the Metro station. Only thing to note is that for women with long hair, you should bring your own hair dryer because the one built into the wall in the bathroom is not suitable for styling hair. Probably OK for men or women with short hair.
Nice and helpful staf, clean and practical hotel
I had very good stay in this hotel. It is very practical one as it is clean, comfortable, with suitable services. The welcoming and the staff are really very nice. They made very good efforts to help and to facilitate my stay . The price is very good as ompared to the quality. The only thing that bother me is the space in the room. It is better to comewith small suitcase.
Dorm Room!
The room I got was NOTHING like the photo. A single room is more like a university dorm room than a hotel room. It was simple a twin bed, with one pillow, pressed against two of the walls, and then about two feet on either side before the next walls. There was not even facial tissue in the bathroom. That being said, very clean, friendly staff. Although someone took the "Do Not Disturb" sign. It was on my door the first night, then after I pulled it in the next morning to allow the room to be cleaned, it was gone.
Great location and good price
Safe and quiet neighborhood, close to metro stations and easy access to major tourist sites. The room is clean and staffs are friendly. Overall, our six days stay was satisfactory.
The shower was very small!
Unbeatable location and great service at good pric
This is a small hotel with excellent location. It is so convenient as there is a big shopping mall just cross the road. You can get whatever you want. It is also surrounding by many restaurants. The hotel is located not from metro and bus stop just 2 mins away. However, the room size is a bit small. As I am also a small person, so it is fine for me but it would be not that comfortable for some big size guests.
OK if you want a cheap stay.
There was an initial hiccup with the checking in as I'd forgotten who it was booked under but after nearly 30 minutes I got the room key. The air conditioning didn't really work well but thankfully it wasn't needed too much. Feels shabby and not what I expected of an Ibis but it was clean. Our "double" were 2 singles together so not brilliant but did the job.
good
it was OK
This stay was disappointing compared to my last.
I originally arrived early for check-in. The hotel staff that was on in the morning kindly offered to keep my luggage for me so I could start enjoying my visit. I came back in the afternoon, an hour and a half after check-in time. I was told my room wasn't ready and was offered a beverage. While I can understand that these things happen, when I inquired about how long it would be, the staff switched into English as if to imply I must not have understood and explained that the room wasn't ready. I actually didn't end up having to wait long. I handed my ticket stub for my suitcase to the same staff member. She took me to a room full of luggage and basically let me help myself to the luggage. This made me very uneasy as it meant my luggage was not at all secure. Why even give out luggage tags? It was apparent this one staff member was having a bad day or is not as stellar as the rest of the staff. I have given this hotel 5/5 in the past, but this was a pretty disappointing experience for me.
Very Convenient
Near to China Town, very convenient and near to the metro train station
Short stay in Paris
The Ibis at Place d'Italie is an excellent place due to location, 3 metro lines, easy access to major tourist sites. The service was prompt and courteous. The room was modern and very clean, on the small side but we were out most of the time.
The desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. Close to a metro station and a large shopping centre.
One of the nicest Ibis hotels that I've stayed in
This was one of the nicest Ibis hotels that I've stayed in. I had a fairly spacious single room on the top floor, which was cleaned every day over the course of my 3-night stay. Staff informed me upon checking in that they were doing some maintenance and so the water would be switched off between 11am and 5pm, but given that I was out exploring Paris during these hours it wasn't an issue. The only real minus point was that the shower cubicle was a little on the small side. With a metro stop and shopping centre only a minute or two away, I'd definitely stay here again.
Clean and comfortable but some skimping on baducs
I think a 3 star should have a kettle and kettle in the room. The week I was there the water was turned off between 11.00 and 17.00 hours. Not good! On one occasion I had to walk up 9 flights - glad it wasn't with my case :) . It was cheap, but then it was also booked well in advance. I'd think twice before going back
Comfortable budget hotel
Very comfortable room at a good price. The internet worked perfectly (they didn't block the content as so many hotels in Paris do -- crise de pudeur, I suppose -- which usually prevents me from reading the New York Times articles with the words "g*y" or "s*x" in them. I put the asterisks in there because it seems that Hotels.com has the same proboem with ordinary words: "Your review text contains inappropriate language." Hilarious -- what is happening to the world? is every one insane?
Good service
good lacation
Value for money
Clean Room, Convenient Location, Close to restaurants, Shopping Center and super market! I got 1 night for 75 euros. Worth mentioning! Should try their breakfast buffet only 9.50 euros! Taste good!!!
Spotlessly clean
I was looking for a reasonably priced hotel near to the Place d'Italie and this hotel was both. On arrival, I was delighted to find a friendly welcome and a very comfortable room, which was spotlessly clean and I will be recommending this hotel to friends.
Cheap, clean, comfortable
Small, but clean room. Staff very nice and helpful. Hotel is conveniently located near the Place d'Italie Metro stop. Would recommend to others.
Fantastic location
All in all this is a good place to stay if you want to see Paris in 4 days
Could find better with the same price
Very small rooms, very noisy, there is no tea or coffee in the room. Same area same price there are better places
An UNREAL hotel experience!!!
After two nights of sudden erratic water temperatures in the shower, decided to have a change of room. As none as available, left luggages in locker room. On return to hotel at just after 11 pm on 3rd night of stay, was given keys to new room. When I enquired "what about our bags?", received a reply that we can only get our bags the next morning. "What?". Again and again, the reply, yes, only the next morning. On further enquiry, was told that the day receptionist had taken the locker keys home and was not contactable and we have no choice but to wait till the next morning. Showed my displeasure and insisted loudly that I want my luggages "right now" or put me through the GM or get a locksmith or break the locks. Staff then went back to check for a master key, to no avail, and then made a couple of calls and said I will get my bags in about an hours' time. This was unreal!! And the hotel has a policy of a free stay if they cannot solve a problem within 15 minutes!
Tiniest room I've ever seen
We had stayed in ibis before and we new what to expect from your run of the mill ibis but this one was definitely different. Check in: had no key cards so if we wanted to go up the lift to our room we needed to ask the receptionist to let us up (got the key card the next day) Room was so small the bed was pushed in by a slanted wall so try not sit up in bed! The bathroom well must have been a cupboard before it was actually a joke with us by the end as it was no problem to sit on the toilet and brush your teeth at the same time. If your any way big at all there is not a hope of even getting into the shower you have to walk in and back out! Oh and I'm 5ft 10 and my boyfriend 6ft 2 (the shower wasn't talk enough for him!! A lot of homeless people sleeping on the street the hotel was on The plus points it was clean, 5 mins to the tube where 15/20 mins will bring you nearly where ever you want to go
Too Small
Really too small!!
Noisy
The hotel was ok but the walls of the rooms were very thin and we could hear next door neighbours. There was also an alarm gong off about 5.30 am for 40 minutes, this happened for the two days we were there.
Very convenient as 3 stars Hotel
Very convenient Hotal with great staff. Very practical location near a commercial center and near a metro station. It is clean with good services. Of course the comparison should be with other 3 stars Hotels. The only inconvenient is that you don't have enough space in the room.
the hotel ibis in Paris Avenue d'Italie 13ème
the hotel is good, though the room is little bit small. however, as the price is low, it's worth.
Convenient place to stay
