Spent a night , it was good
Nothing special or unit
There is no water bottle in room , if we want to drink water we have to pay and take from the hotel
Difficult to find parking
Service was pathetic. no intercome was working.no water
Staff was good overall. The area looks sketchy. The room was very small. Would not book again.
Breakfast option can be better. I was charged city task twice, basement lift from street to the hotel wasn’t maintained well.
Cleaning service was not great, towels weren't replaced only taken and soap was also not there, towels had clearly been handled with visible bleach stains so keeps you wandering what has happened to them. Elevators smelled like smoke whole time. But nice for just sleeping, and close to metro and multiple breakfast/lunch/dinner options around
The staff is not that friendly, a deposit was asked before checkin, there is no olive oil available for breakfast in the breakfast buffet, our room was smelly due to malfunction of bathroom sweage, the matrass are not that comfortable.
Good cost benefit
Very good cost benefit. Location close to subway station, the hotel room size is small, but reasonably!
.
Overall ok but could do with improvements, shower box not good with leaking, water flyes everywhere around the bathroom, room small with low ventilation and so on… okay for the price I guess
Good stay in Paris, but nothing special. Bit difficult to find the entrance using Google maps, but staff was very kind and helpful!
Good
Too expensive for the state of the hotel, urgent refurbish needed!
Nice staff !
The receptiondesk was amazing! Love the service they gave me! Much love
I would stay here again
We had a connecting room which was great for the four of us and our visit. The rooms are slightly dated but overall it was fine. We had a double bed and two single beds. The bathrooms were modern but had no fan in for steam from the shower. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food is decent but around the area there are lots of local places to eat. The metro isn't far about a 5-10 minute walk, we had two disabled people and it was easy to get to. The yellow line runs to the Eiffel Tower,Versailles and Notre Dame. The only thing was I had to ask for more pillows in the room but we got these with no problem.
It was affordable and easy to get too .The room was very clean and had all we needed the bed was excellent and the linen was changed every two days .The staff we had met were polite and helpful in every way .We did have breakfast and while the food was good and well presented it was very hard to find a table for two at a busy time in the morning. We liked the local area and the transport links are excellent too .We certainly would return .
Area is safe at night. Restaurants are open and lots of activity on the streets late into the evening. Room was very clean. The beds aren’t the greatest and the bathroom had a slight sewer smell. Over I’d go back to this hotel.
Hotel was clean and welcoming and at a reasonable price. we had booked the breakfast which was plentyful. The only addition we would have liked was hot drink facilities in our room.
The location for the property is bad, it is very difficult for pickup and drop off. One would expect basic amenities like shampoo and/or conditioner, coffee machine but that is not possible. Front desk was always busy and had to ask for stuff repeatedly.
Very very disappointed with the hotel and customer service. Right from the check in to breakfast buffet to check out, the hotel has been really awful. Rude, and inconsiderate people work here
shamble treatment
was early one hour and i was told check in should be at 1 pm but if i want ti early i have to pay 30 euros i came back at 1:20 pm and i was told the room wasn't Ready i was made to wait 30 mins to get my room
Nice and neat
unhappy
Very very small and very very old rooms. old carpets in hallway, slow lift, no nefficoent checkin and checkout.
Low review.
1st room was disgusting. We requested another room and the lady at the front desk was very nice. Next room the shower was disgusting, Mold everywhere. I don’t recommend this property.
Suitable accommodation!
Our stay at the ibis was pleasant. It is a more budget accommodation, so the suite reflects this. It is in a good area with good transport links like train and bus. The bed was comfortable. The shower was also good. The furniture is dated and not new, but serves a purpose. Not a very glamorous room but built for function. The staff were very friendly but did not have strong English so communicating in English was a little difficult. Would recommend for anyone that is not expecting a luxourious stay, but one that is comfortable and may not be using the room their whole day.
.
Shocking service, staff rude, no help at all, room smelt, poor facilities
Noisy air conditioning
Room too noisy assume it was external air conditioning unit
it was close to food area and the metro which was very helpful.
Hotel was very clean and staff friendly and very helpful breakfast very good are stay was very good would stay there again 😀
good location. staff pleasant. rooms ok
Excellent value for money
We had a power outrage in our first floor. The staff didn’t speak much English. It’s was over crowded even in the weekdays. Every time I called Uber or taxi cause of the hidden drive away it was always chaotic.
Welcoming staff, great facilities and easy access to public transportation
Hotel not easily accessible- most taxis and Uber cannot locate exact location. Lighting is poor on the outside. Front entrance is a garage and dirty elevator which does not represent photos on internet. Keys do not work properly. Hotel staff not versed in language. Horrible on all fronts.
Short stay
Suited our needs as we were there only one day. Our room fitted our family of 4. There were 2 rooms with its own bathroom (i.e., toilet and shower) which were basically identical. The rooms and floor we were on needed upgrading. Hotel entrance was a bit hard to find. They need more street signs or instructions indicating how to get to the hotel lobby by car or foot.
Filthy hotel
The room wasn’t cleaned (floor). I didn’t have towels in my room. I needed to order in the reception. Towels are so small, is not good to use in all body after shower. Outside lobby: there are a lots rats. Lift is not good (filthy).
Check in time was prolonged. We have to wait 2 hours from the supposed check in time.
The photos on the website look nothing like our room we stayed in. The room was clean and bed comfortable, however I had no bedside table which you could see was broken and removed off the wall. Light also didn’t work. Very limited plug sockets- none by the bed, only one by the door out the room and one by the phone. No kettle or tea/coffees. Supposedly the room was to have hair dryer and iron- hairdryer over heated after using for a minute, and no iron in sight. Bar downstairs was closed a two out of the three nights we stayed. Rats running around outside front of hotel, which is disgusting. Maid staff were lovely, but front desk staff rude.
The property has a metro station 5 min walk from the hotel and links you to city centre in 15 min. There is lots of cafes, mini supermarkets, bakery and Carrefour at the end of the road. The downside to the property is that there is a big ramp you must climb to get to the property entrance. We arrived in MAY 23’ an the lift was broke so we had to take the ramp and 3 flights of stairs which was hard with cases! It is all very well lit and secure around the hotel grounds so no issue coming home late etc. The rooms are very very small and dated with chipped bathroom mirrors and musty shower curtains. Storage for clothes is tiny and had 4 hangers so not ideal if you’re staying longer than 4 days a need to hang clothes. Lighting is also really low as there is only lamps and no celling light so does get dark esp when trying to do make up etc. The beds are super comfortable. A twin room is ideal for 1 person max. It cost €10-€18 to most touristsy places via UBER.
The room was clean and close to transportation.
It was ok
As budget as it can get
Was very budget, rooms were hot and leave your skin very itchy. The breakfast was the worst that I’ve ever had at a hotel. Staff were rude, unhelpful and literally didn’t care about my severe nut allergy. This was reflected by the lack of signage for allergens across the restaurant. €12.50 for bread and bacon isn’t exactly worth it is it. If you read this review and then go and purchase the breakfast you will feel like a fool.
Tiny ibis
Room very small and only one pillow
Great property, room was clean and a reasonable size for Paris. Cloae to amenities.
The room is small, and the bathroom is super tiny. But the worst part is getting to the hotel walking. They have no easy way in the hotel unless you drive. So the daily ins and outs are not great.
Very slow staff at the reception, lady didnt know whats hop on hop off bus is when i ask about it.First room we coupdnt get in because door handle fall down, second room,we were given wrong lift information.Very chaotic.but breakfast was 10/10
Amenities are very basic for the price. Not even a kettle to boil water for tea/coffee in the room.
The best thing about Ibis hotel was its location and friendly staff. I received a hefty parking bill and local taxes upon check-in which were never communicated to me at the time of booking. The rooms not only need a complete make-over but also at least a kettle and cups for tea. The Air Con noise was too loud and it would particularly get worse during night.
Excellent for the price! Nice location within Paris. Staff efficient, polite and friendly. Convenient located - close to a metro station and walkable Close by 2 bistros, a bakery and other stores.
No pool, no bar, like the hotel is closing down
Needs some love
We stayed for 2 nights. We chose it as it had good transport links and a secure car park. The positives - The transport links and car park were really handy, easy and appreciated them during our stay. The bathroom was really clean, light and user friendly and the bed was really comfy. The staff were realy nice. The Quebec themed pub near the exit of the drive was really nice. The negatives - Finding the nice staff was difficult, reception was often empty, the room layout was 'cosy', the dark orange rendered walls were ugly, the TV stand felt like it was in the middle of the room (not on the wall), the window was filthy (on the outside) and the payment machine for the car park was broken, so we had to wait at the empty reception for ages to pay before we could leave.
Stay away - horrible
This was an awful stay. The rooms dirty with small insects. The path/lift to the hotel entrance was very very dirty. Sadly it is not a hotel but was a kind of refugee/asylum centre. They mentioned in the hotel it is a different department. Unbelievable that brand like Ibis are such poor.
The staff was wonderful and always ready to help. The level of cleanliness is a disaster. We had a mouse in one of the rooms (we had 2 adjoining rooms) and when we complained at the reception they were not even surprised and just moved us to another room. They just cleaned the room and others got it without addressing the mouse problem. There was not enough paper in the bathroom and they did not renew. The towels were too small and did not cover the entire upper body even. had
The service was excellent
No facilities open. Hotel good overall
.
A good place for a short break,
A nice place, well kept, kind staff.
The people at the front desk was friendly and professional however the housekeeping was so terrible and un knowledgeable about policy of the hotel that I actually had to call the front desk to make a complaint other than that the hotel was good
Not a good stay
Been in several 3-star hotels in big cities. So far, this is the worst.
The cleanliness was great and the rooms were comfortable. The rooms we stayed in needed a little maintainance (
The furniture is old .. The breakfast is very simple, lacks variety and does not match the price .. The reception staff are great, especially Maxim .. I really do not want to book this hotel again after my experience with them in Ghent and Paris
Not very clean. Small rooms.
What I liked: The size of the room and the overall condition of the hotel was good. The front desk personnel were friendly when contacted. What I didn't like: This hotel seems to cater to big groups, and most of them are from schools, which gives this place a bit of a spring break type of atmosphere. Lots of teenage age kids running in the hallways and making lots of noise throughout the night.
I have to say i didnt initially have the best experience when i arrived at this hotel. The room we were given looked nothing like the room which we had booked. It was small and cramped. There was nowhere to walk and i felt extremely claustrophobic. The bathroom had no shower gel, only 2 two towels were provided even though there was 3 of us, i was really unhappy. I went to reception and was told that all rooms are the same size and nothing could be done. I returned to the room and i just wanted to scream everytime i looked at it. I went back to reception and told them i wouldnt be staying in that room. Its not what was advertised and its certainly not what i paid for. After some time the guy i spoke with said he may be able to get another room the next day and we did. We were much more comfortable after that. It was the room we had purchased to begin with. It was brighter, more spacious and felt very fresh. And we werent all ontop of eachother. This made our stay a lot better.
Standard
The hotel is a very nice hotel inside and out. The only things that let it down for me was the fact you had to pay to use the hotels gym and swimming facilities which should be included in the booking price. Also the breakfast was the exact same thing every morning. Other than that I was happy with my stay overall
The wall was peeling off and the shower on the floor the wood base kept falling off and on second and third night I had Bits! And it was bedbugs!!
I was very disappointed that the pool was not open till 11am and was closed at 2100. If you were going to Disney you were unable to use the pool. We found one staff member to be unfriendly at reception and our door would not seal unless it was dead bolted inside, looked like some had attempted to kicked in the door
Good hotel but noisy
Good service. Nice rooms, excellent breakfast abd facilities. Very noise. Loud in the corridor and outside the hotel until the early hours of the morning every night.
Okay hotel
The hotel was okay. Bathroom needs refurbishing. You have to pay to use the swimming pool . Breakfast choices could be improve too.
The Ibis Batingnolles is a good value, which is the niche of this Accor chain. One problem is that the hotel is overheated. There is no way to cool down the heat in rooms that have sealed windows. The AC doesn't work in winter. The availability of parking and a pool (extra cost) are convenient. The breakfast is adequate at best and not worth the price.
Good value for money
For those who are going for the first time, to get at fhe reception can be a bit confusing but when you get used to it's fine. The location it's near to the metro, market express and BK. I just found the room to small specially the bathroom, but everything was clean and tidy everyday. It's a good place to stay for a fair price.
Never staying here again!
Pool was out of order; our room was a cold atmosphere with a very noisy vent. The coffee at the bar was undrinkable!
Bed Bugs!!
Hi there, Unfortunately duing my last night here i was bitten alive by bed bugs and only relaised when i got home. My whole back and arms are covered in bites and now i need to steralize all my business clothes. Please emial me or message me so this issue can be fixed right away so i can confirm the room number. This must be fixed straight away as they will spread
It was clean but there werent enough powerbanks in the room
The beds and pillows are really comfy. The rooms are really outdated and nothing like the pictures show. There was no soap in the bathrooms and the hair dryer didn’t work either.
Not full Disclosure when I booked having to pay for pool having to pay for children breakfast
Room was not as clean corners had lot of dust A bit cramped... compared to any room in the us Day started early with drums and demonstrations outside by the staff protesting and striking and the drums and shouting and protests by staff outside hotel went on every single day We did not get to sleep even a single day past 8 am Reception staff was friendly Rooms got cleaned artificially every day Even toilet paper was not replenished
Moldy and Non-functioning Electrical Outlets
Beds are comfortable but shower was moldy and there was some sort of bug that bit several of us. For a quadruple room, there was no desk or place to put luggage. My child got a bloody nose one night and although the maids made the beds, they left her bloody sheets on the bed rather than changing them, which they clearly needed. The bathroom did not have an electrical outlet and only two of the three outlets in the entire room worked.
Lobby was smelly, there was a staff strike during my visit, the breakfast was very limited.
the pool is not included you must pay 5 euros per person and per child to enjoy it. the bathrooms smell horrible and finally there was a protest from the employees who began to make noise and loud music at 9 in the morning.
Nice hotel in a good location, conveniently close to the Porte de Clichy metro. However, there were loud protesters by the door of the hotel which caused a bit of a ruckus. It was also a shame that we had to pay extra to use the pool and other facilities. However, on the whole, the place served its purpose and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Pleasant. Nice and clean. Quite busy but not disruptive.
I paid for breakfast for my family through expedia and had confirmation on my email, when i got to the hotel i was told i need to pay as they charge seperate at the hotel even though i showed them the email.
The size of the room and comfort of the beds was great. The food was good too and the price was reasonable. The WiFi was better than most hotels. The air conditioning was not good enough, one of the units didn’t work. On day of departure the cleaning staff let themselves in without knocking at 9.30. We even had the do not disturb sign up. Check out is noon so we should be ok till then. The cleaners then let themselves in again at 10.30 and as we were still there they made a phone call , i understand French so was fully aware of what she said. Very rude given check out is 12. We eventually left at 11 because of the pressure of the cleaners. There were also CGT protestors every morning outside the hotel. It was very very noisy and repetitive.
Lovely hotel with excellent breakfast. Safe underground parking. Short walk to the metro.
Amazing! Great location and friendly staff
the bed was not an actual bed and the room was extremely 2 small you had to step in the shower so that you can close the door 2 ise the restroom then 2 top it off you had to pay for the pool 5€ per person
Not Safe and unclean
Hotel room was a box and not very clean we were only provided with two towels, staff were unhelpful most of the times with exception to two people. The area was shady and unsafe we were a party of two females and followed back to the hotel on two occasions by strange men.
There was no iron in the room, I had to go to the 4th floor in a room to iron everyday. There was only 2 outlets in the whole room. There was no blow dryer, there was a strike outside the hotel from Iris workers that would protest from 8 am to 6 pm with drums, whistles and loud music. Poor hotel all they did was basically provide a roof for us to stay. Would of preferred to stay in a hostel.
Very old facilities, the bathroom of our room had even mold on the ceiling.
I didn’t like the size of the room, the smell in the room, the 1960s interior / decor of the room
Some pros more cons.
Pros: clean basic hotel with a good location- lots of great restaurants in the area. The staff was pleasant and helpful when needed. Cons: tiny room- you had to step into the shower to shut the door to use the toilet. Shower was tiny. Barely enough room to open the suitcase next to the bed. Access to the hotel is difficult- there is a long walkway to an elevator and stairs which would have been fine except the elevator wasn’t working so we had to lug all of our suitcases up the stairs. We never figured out how to direct our Uber to pick us up in front of the hotel... the pool was not included in the price of the stay and we had to pay 5 Euros a person per day to use it. It wasn’t the safest pool either - the skylight windows were broken and we didn’t feel at ease knowing the smallest thing could cause the glass to come crashing into the pool. Overall: I would not stay here again. There are other properties in the area that looked to be easier to access and perhaps with bigger rooms.
Fairly priced and not very far from Paris center
Overall it's a fairly priced hotel in a good condition. Staff is friendly and generally everything is just as you'd expect. Two things to be aware of are: 1) The hotel is located in some sort of complex and the pedestrian access to the hotel goes to 2nd floor. There is an elevator, which quite often doesn't work. Access by a car is okay. 2) There is some sort of school or kindergarten near the hotel as in the mornings you can hear kids playing and screaming. The hotel seems to be quite popular even though it's not very close to the city center like 20 minutes of car ride or 25 minutes on metro.
Excellent
the hotel lobby was unreachable by taxi so we had to walk about 5 minutes from street to elevator going to lobby. it’s hard to do if you are carrying heavy luggage
