Property in a good location for night before a flight back to the States. The staff was very helpful. The property just seemed a little worn and tired. And I thought 234 euros was quite expensive for an Ibis.

My Spanish is that good but with the bilingual staff i was able to get everything i needed to make this a terrific vacation.

Excellent breakfast. Neat and new property. The room temperature is centrally set, so you cannot increase or decrease it. It is nice for environmental awareness, but for people that love polar temperatures in hotel rooms I think it should be advertised at the moment of reservation, specially during hot summers like this. Other than that is a perfect option for short transits in Madrid near the airport.

Location is great for food and work with a metro nearby. Hotel is very basic, far below any normal Ibis standard. Rooms are very small, dated, with no air conditioning, too few plug sockets, limited bathroom and no extra lock on door. Breakfast was low standard, very limited choice, not great options, almost nothing hot and truly terrible coffee. It was clean and well presented but disappointing. Overall I would stay again if I had no alternative but it would not be my choice next time. To improve they should offer more breakfast options and update the rooms.

The stuff really friendly. Clean. No cups or glasses in the room. Very close to the metro. Just old and rooms dont look like in the pictures.

Good location, just half block from a metro station, good option if not necessarily you must stay in the center of the city.

Although the room was exceptionally small without even a place to hang up any clothing, the breakfast and piazza available for purchase in the evening made up for all the deficiencies. Easy parking for our big SUV was a big plus at a low price in comparison to other hotels we stayed in.

Good place to stay for business traveler

This was a fine hotel to stay for business. The room was comfortable, not fancy. The hotel is located close to a metro station so easy to get into city center. The breakfast was well stocked and tasty. I wouldn't suggest this hotel for tourists wanting to be close to tourist attractions.

Horrible staff and rooms.

Front desk clerk on day shift are RUDE and helpless. They don’t have a office center(computer) available to print any boarding pass or health forms required by the airport. Rooms are dirty and old. They don’t allowed you to use the wifi unit you checked in. I have stayed at ibis hotels before without any problems but this location it’s horrible stayed away if you can!

Great little hotel and location to central Madrid

Wonderful stay for a meeting at IFEMA. It is about 1 block from the Suanzes metro stop so VERY easy to get around all of Madrid from there. There also is a bus that goes directly to IFEMA on Calle Acala. Staff were very helpful, friendly and always available.

Convenient with pets

Stayed for 2 nights before our flight , convenient with a dog due to a nice park crossed the street. Nice stuff and clean .

Well they have construction in the back of the building and the noise didn’t stop until almost 7:30 at the time was a little bit hot and they didn’t have the AC on because they have already the boiler on we open the window and combine the noise and hot air impossible we can’t sleep but not everything was bad they have a good breakfast for $7,50 for person plus 11 or 14 euros for parking

Parking on the street was available; lots of restaurants nearby; large park across the major road; gas station very close.

This Ibis is a little out of town, but very easy to get to by metro, which is only 200 metres away. It was lovely not to have a long way to go to the airport and back for our short stopover. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The bathroom was much bigger than I expected. Things have changed for Ibis it seems. Very happy with our stay.

Not great

The pillows smelled of tobacco. Take a shower and the soap container was empty with a message to call and buy bath soap. Asked for directions to the airport and received directions that would have resulted in travel for more then an hour vs 25 minutes.

Overall ir es a good.. the area was no very closet to madrid downtown. Metro very close. Air conditioner das workworking properly.

A day in Madrid

Arrived in Madrid in the afternoon, and left the next afternoon. It was easy to get to the hotel from the airport (two buses or one bus and a subway). The journey only took half an hour. The hotel area is in a non-touristy area so at night it's quiet and nice. Not too crowded in the day time either. There are a few small stores and a supermarket within 5-10 minutes of walking distance. There's a bar and restaurant in the hotel. My one day experience with the hotel has been fantastic. I did not have an European laptop adapter and the front desk personnel loaned me one for the night. I would highly recommend this hotel if you prefer to stay away from the busy and noisy touristy areas.

Great hotel with easy access to metro

The hotel is close to a metro station, but not super close to city center. Overall I would recommend the hotel. It was clean, nice, and staff was friendly. If you're vacationing in Madrid then be mindful about when the metro closes.

VERY NICE STAFF, especially DIEGO the Night Manager. He helped me print a Boarding Pass out of his busy schedule. He was very good employee and should be considered for additional Management Opportunities. Hotel is a good value for the rate situated near the Suanzes Metro Station. That station stays open until about 1:30 AM which is convenient. The Madrid Metro automatic machines are quite confusing, though. The machines make you pay 2 Euro for a Metro card and then you can add purchases to it instead of simply buying a one way ticket. They will note whether you would like service in English but every page thereafter is listed in Spanish? Try to use the Single trip option and add money to the card as needed. A 10 trip option charge is allowed but the customer cannot add value to it. I noticed a lot of confusion at every station, especially the larger ones in how visitors tried to make Metro purchases. The Madrid Metro authorities do a pretty poor job in making those automatic Metro machines understandable in languages beyond Spanish. Area is fairly decent with various types of restaurants nearby. Avoid The Irish Corner Restaurant and Bar a few hundred yards south of the hotel. High prices for drinks and carefree attitude toward service. A type of warped Spanish pride was noticeable at this restaurant even though it gives an outside International, (Irish) welcoming appearance. This insular Spanish pride and lack of friendly behavior to the (Hotel) visitors is beyond me.

Nice and clean

All staff are very nice, the rooms are very clean, the ubication is excellent.

Handy to airport, clean and comfy

Quick 2 day stopover so wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of staff, the cleansiness of everywhere and great restaurant facilities. rooms are functional with comfortable bed and great big walk in shower.

Decent hotel, overall

Good hotel for the cost. Good service. Area seems transitional: if you stay around the Metro station nearby (Suanzes) there are lots or restaurants and shops and such; if you head south of hotel, it’s a lot of businesses and automechanic/car dealerships. Somewhat weird place to put a hotel, but the hotel is great if you’re budget traveling. No complaints.

Nice Hotel

It's a bit out of the city but if you can either figure out the new Metro card system or are prepared to walk half an hour, it's fine cos there is a station pretty much right outside. The staff were all very friendly and the rooms comfy and spotless. Taxi from the airport should cost around €24 as it did on the way back rather than the non meter con of €30 on the way in but that guy got very lost and pretty much lost out on the extra €7 he tried to extort from us. Not a bad price but take into account the taxi fare cos there is NO shuttle service. Overall... excellent

A good hotel not to far from the airport, using the Madrid metro from the airport takes 2 changes of lines and takes around 1.15, to use a cab takes 15 mins. Nice food in the restaurant and a good bar. Pleasant room and in a very quite area. If I went to Madrid again I would use this hotel.

We have stayed at a hostelin the center of Madrid on our prior visits. The hostel is ok if you don't have children . Mine is 3 yo so this hotel work great for us. It is small but we love it. We took 2subway trains to reach the city center . Toally recommend

Comfortable Stay!!!

Hotel location is only 2 min walk from Metro station. Had a supermarket in vicinity and few restaurants. Airport is far from the hotel and need couple of metro changes. Hotel staff was good, co-operative n helpful. Room was clean, comfortable.There should be an electric kettle in the room with some relevant tea n coffee supplies.. Breakfast had healthy options ,still it would be nice if some egg options like soft boiled eggs, scrambled eggs are also served.

Close to metro and clean

For the price and a night it was good. Cannot complain about the cleanliness or attentiveness of staff. But this was a very basic hotel. It was close to transport and very convenient.

Standard Ibis Hotel

Overall the hotel is typical of Ibis, you get a good deal for a good price, and this case wasn't any different. This time, though, we arrived to a room that had a busted sink pipe. We had the room changed, but only after an hour that no one came to fix the problem after reporting to the front desk. Additionally, the new room was a non-smoking room but clearly smelled as if someone did smoke there earlier. Otherwise, all the other hotel services were on par.

Located in the business area of Madrid. Not much else in the area but ideal for me as my meetings were 5 minutes around the corner. Tube into the centre of Madrid is just around the corner but it is quite a way out. Hotel did its job for me!

Caro para el equipamiento básico de la habitación (cama, mesitas, perchas, TV y baño). Barato en comparación a los desorbitados precios en que se mueven los hoteles en España después de la pandemia. Lo mejor: la ubicación (facil de llegar y de aparcar en la calle -tiene parking propio en todo caso, pagando claro), la cercanía de metro y bus (a 100 m.) y hay bares/restaurantes aceptables. L@s recepcionistas de 10 (bueno, 9.5 que por la noche, sobre las 1.00, nos tuvieron a 3 personas como 3 minutos esperando para abrir la puerta del hotel, que estaba cerrada (no sé si es normal habitual). No es por los 3 minutos, es que hacia mucho frío esa noche!! Lo peor: ciertos detalles, sin ser problemas graves, como la TV, que no cambiaba de canales o no sintonizaba de repente ningún canal. Lo recomiendo para viajes rápidos y que requieran estar bien comunicado.

Hotel comodo, funcional. Las habitaciones son mas austeras pero las zonas comunes estan muy bien. Por las tardes hay facilidad para aparcar. Quiza un precio un poco mas alto de lo esperado... pero puede ser por las disponibilidades.

Un buen hotel y servicio excelente

El hotel fue como lo esperado en los hoteles Ibis. Pero queremos resaltar la excelente atención de las personas que trabajan, tuvimos un muy y especial trato, son personas muy amables y serviciales, dispuestas a atender muy bien a las personas.

Muy bien relación precio y beneficio. La habitación sencilla pero muy funcional.

Hemos estado genial estos días. Lo único mucho ruido por las mañanas. Se oían golpes por los pasillos. Por lo demás todo genial!!!
