Nice location outside the busy centre. Walking distance to the mall and river. Receptionist were very helpful. And the pool area was clean. Nice hotel woukd stay again.

Nous avons réservé 3 nuits, ma fille et moi. Très belle expérience : le personnel est disponible, les chambres sont propres. Nous avons vraiment passé un agréable moment ! La piscine nous a régalées !

The property is ok I have stayed at an ibis budget which was far better whilst it is a lower class property. The checkin process took far longer than it should have done as the receptionist was confused with the booking, which was a straight forward 3 night booking. Some of the staff at reception were great and some not so great and would not acknowledge you when you entered or left the property. Asking questions or help we were made to feel extremely uncomfortable and some staff members were unhelpful. Our room wasn’t the cleanest and it was a fairly small room. The pool and the surrounding area were dirty and the were loose tiles around the edge of the pool. There are two hotels sharing the pool area which can make it quite busy especially when the weather was extremely warm during our time of travel. There are a few sun beds too we had to resort to keeping our things at the spare table which was in the smoking area. There are also no shops for drinks etc in the area however there was a vending machine which was handy.

Made me pay €2 to rent a towel for the pool but didn’t inform me that the pool was closed

Room was a bit shabby but clean, some in-room facilities such as the hair dryer provided are in desperate need of an update

Reception was clean and had plenty of facilities. Receptionist was friendly and check in was easy. Room could have been cleaned better as dust in corners and could hear next room but to be expected. Overall very convenient and comfortable stay.

The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean, but the hotel was tired and only one lift was in operation during our stay. It is a budget hotel, so we weren’t expecting five stars, but the rooms were not great. It is also some distance from the centre of Lyon. That is as advertised, but we would stay somewhere closer to the city centre if we travelled to Lyon again.

Really good value for an overnight stay in Lyon. Room was comfortable and clean. Buffet breakfast was very good.

Staff lovely but ….

Good points -Staff at the hotel were all lovely. Room comfortable. Breakfast great Not so good -no sign for hotel at the roadside -had to drive round the block looking for it in the rush hour after a long drive . No lift access from car park with luggage and disabled passenger. Ramp to road ridiculously steep - unmanageable for solo wheelchair user

Really convenient to the Halle Tony Garnier where we were seeing the Scorpions. About 30 minute walk to Bellacour and the shopping district with some really lovely bistros and restaurants to eat. Uber taxis are amazing in Lyon arriving within 2 or 3 minutes so it was really easy to get to further out to places like La Basilique Notre-Dame de Fourvière and the cultural quarter. Excellent stay, clean rooms and a bar which opens about 6pm til 11.30pm.

The hotel was placed in an area outside the city center, but the best area of the city, which is between the two rivers, was easily accessible by tram. The room was very small, the wardrobe was open and had space to hang only 3 clothes, the carpet in the corridors was old and worn, the room's furniture materials were old and of a poor quality

A Good Hotel at a great price

A friendly, clean hotel in a good location right by the River. Restaurant was closed( covid precautions) but by arrangement we had a meal at the next for hotel. Breakfast was great in the Ibis….good choice. Clean and tidy with on site secure parking. Would recommend this to everyone

For a flying visit to Lyon this was perfect, staff friendly, breakfast was fresh and excellent... Would recommend the river sightseeing cruise with Bateaux Lyonais

Good location but not a great room. Check in was slow and cumbersome possibly due to staff shortages, room was tiny and bathroom even tinier. No fridge or any amenities as far as I could see. Breakfast in the Novotel was average at best. Yes, corona has impacted everything but for the money I was underwhelmed on this occasion and other ibis stays have been better.

I liked the freshness of the environment, typical Ibis style. Simple and effective.

Perfect all round!

Great hotel; clean, comfortable and staff were very helpful. We stayed here for two nights for a gig at Halle Tony Garnier (5 of us in 3 rooms) and everyone was very pleased. The location is also very convenient if you're visiting there. Transport links to downtown and the airport are close by too, I highly recommend this hotel!

Good location

The hotel was clean and your typical Ibis hotel. The reception staff were friendly. We booked to eat in the hotel. After 45 minutes of ordering we still hadn't received our drinks and finally we decided to leave the restaurant as we couldn't get served. The staff were apologetic but the service was still poor in the restaurant. We booked two hotel rooms. The air conditioning did not work in one of the rooms.

Hotel was in a kind business industry area, near the river. There is a small park that rins the length of the river, so it was nice to be able to walk that. Parking was 12€ a night and it was fairly self explanatory to get in the garage.

The staff and general standards of the hotel were outstanding. It really enhanced my enjoyment of lovely Lyon.

Lovely place to stay in Fontainebleau. Located on a quiet street only a couple of blocks from the chateau which is a must see. Besides having a large room with tasteful, modern decor, there is a sitting room complete with trendy glass desk large enough to work at, large windows some opening on to the garden. The ensuite bathroom, there is a large kitchen and downstairs living room is large and modern with double basins and a huge shower. The big, beautiful garden has several seating areas and is a nice place to sit out in. We highly highly recommend Le Clos Saint Honoré !

Nice stopover

Stopover from Italy to Reims. Nice and clean hotel next to a great museum. (Confluences) which is worth a visit. Restaurant Dinner in Hotel a bit pricey. Breakfast 9.90€/per person per day, parking 11€ per night. We booked double bed room but had 2 single beds put together which meant that there was a gap. That was not comfortable.

Great location especially if you are going to attend a concert at Halle Tony Gardiner.

Fine for Halle Tony Garnier

Hotel situated conveniently for Halle Tony Garnier. Check in quick, receptionist spoke good English Room is typical ibis, clean & functional. I paid the extra for buffet breakfast, this was a cereal, cold meats & cheese, juice, bread rolls & was well stocked. Check out was quick. I was disappointed that the bar shut so early that I could not have a drink with friends after the concert. Receptionist helpfully told us there was a vending machine on 3rd floor.

Adequate, clean and quiet hotel.

Clean mid range hotel. A little small for twin beds which were small too. Not much room to separate small twin beds. A little far if you want the old town but a tram nearby for that. More of a business hotel and location.

the hotel is quite far from the downtown. So you'd better pay more for somewhere closer and save time and money with cabs. The air conditioner was quite dirty and gave me asthma.

Stop one night on a road trip through france

Nice big hotel, with secure car park. spacious room and comfortable bed. Had a really good sleep. We only stop for one night to rest, but if you want to visit the centre of lyon, it's about 15 min drive. The guy at the reception was really friendly and even though we arrived after 11 pm, he prepared something to eat at the bar for us. The only thing was that they provided only two towels, (we were two people) and no hand towel, so I had to use the same towel for everything.

Stay at ibis lyon

My experience at ibis lyon was good, though it is not near the city centre but well connected by tram and metro, there is a river near to hotel which is pleasant surprise. Staff at reception are bit rude but reataurant staff is very good and co operative

The Ibis represents good value for money. It's not in the best location but I was there for work so it was not an issue. The food was reasonable and the rooms very comfortable and immaculate.

Nice hotel close to public transport.

Staffs very helpful and they are very polite. Good wifi system and they also have a computer available. We will stay there again when in Lyon.

Perfect for overnight stop

Excellent value, very comfortable bed and good shower. Overnight underground parking available for €11 but plenty of on street parking nearby. Not much by way of restaurants/bars in the neighbourhood, but if you're just wanting to crash for the night on a long journey, then this is a great option

IBIS Lyon Gerland Hotel

Nice hotel with all basic facilities requirements. Clean and tidy. I stayed just for one night following my home football team and I am very pleased. I would recomend it for buisines travelers.

Clean, relatively inexpensive bearing in mind exchange rates, very friendly staff. Perfectly adequate for a one night business stay, which this was. Second time I've stated there. Could have sworn there were Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room the first time.

Nice business hotel

I stayed for 2 nights and overall it was OK, what you would expect from that price range. The one small thing is that I received 2 emails from the hotel (which turned out to be standard info emails), but which were in French (even though my name is clearly not French and I am using austrian hotels.com application) so I had to go through additional effort to translate and see whether it’s something important or not. It would be better to send such emails in English. Apart from that, everything was fine.

Fick ett litet rum med ett litet fönster. Lamporna i rummet flimrade när vi kom dit. Strömmen gick när vi kom tillbaka på rummet senare samma kväll. De gav oss ett nytt rum så det löste sig fint. Inga bekvämligheter på rummet så som vatten, vattenkokare, inga hand handdukar etc. Det var helt ok. Det var väldigt dyrt på hotellet i baren, en läsk t ex kostade 5 euro. Vi kommer inte komma tillbaka till hotellet!

Nous avons passé un excellente séjour dans cet hôtel, le personnel est très sympathique, les chambre sont nickels, l'hôtel est moderne et avec de nombreux équipements. Nous étions à 4 minutes à pied de la Halle Garnier, ce qui est extrêmement pratique. Les petits déjeuners sont variés, avec sucré et salé à volonté. Bref nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir

Séjour à la hauteur de nos attentes. Service au top pour nous trouver un emplacement pour notre véhicule hors gabarit (hauteur). Petite idée pour améliorer votre service … La France est un pays du pain. Or, au p’tit dej , les pains proposés sont basiques. Peut être un partenariat avec un vrai boulanger améliorerait la prestation et permettrait de servir aussi d’ambassadeur de ce savoir faire français.

Séjour très correct et personnel accueillant, mon seul souci est sur la chambre et le lit en particulier(base d'un hôtel), demande lit double qui en fait est 2 lits simples rassemblés(OK,souvent le cas maintenant) mais avec aussi 2 sur-matelas simple(et non un double) donc on se retrouve avec un trou au milieux, ce qui très dérangeant,douloureux...intolérable pour moi dans un hôtel dont le sommeil est le métier

Eğer ucuz ve kısa süreli olarak tek başınıza konaklayacaksanız kalınabilir. Ancak diğer türlü tavsiye edemem.

Sejour à oublier au plus vite

Moment partagé avec mes deux enfants de 3 et 11 ans mais... Bar inaccessible à 19h (envahit par une soiree privée) aucune solution apportée par la réception (mes enfants et moi aurions aimés se désaltèrer après une belle journée de marche dans la ville). Restaurant à la carte restreinte ; seules pâtes et lasagnes dispo réchauffées et servies froides. Victime de vol à la tire de mon portefeuille dans ce même restaurant par un individu absolument pas inquièté qui s est introduit dans le restaurant de l'hotel "la taviola". Apres m'être aperçu du vol aucune emphatie de l'équipe, fallait juste que je règle ma facture... Je reste désabusé de cette situation ! Aucun retour de soutien de l'établissement.

Tjs agréable de venir dans cet hôtel ...en plus on a pu profité de la piscine ..donc nickel .le personnel est agréable ...point négatif le prix de la Glace en petit pot , certes meilleur ouvrier de France mais 8€ le pot ( équivaut a 5 boules de glace a Annecy ) pas bcp de choix et on a pas vu le glacier 😞

Hello, the hotel receptionists are very kind and helpful. Price-quality association is good. Hotel is close by confluence museum, shopping mall, aquarium, tramway, etc. The area of the hotel is safe and residential. It is a budget hotel so we can find all the basic necessary things in the room. They could put a kettle in the room by the way, apparently some rooms have kettle but some not so i did not have a kettle in my room. There is not carpet in the room so i really like it. They left a box of praline candy in the room to welcome me for my first night, it is very cool. There is a vending machine at the corner of the reception so it is useful. The riverside is just behind the hotel. Thanks a lot. I like it. :)

Prima locatie voor overnachting. Prima ontbijt en prima gegeten in het restaurant van het Novotel.

Aucun pbs sur l'accueil et la propreté, mais il n'y avait qu'un seul ascenseur, le 2 ème était hors service. Autrement rien à redire, je sais que ce est pas de leur faute et en plus, c'était en weekend.

Accueil chaleureux. Service répond à nos attentes et nos besoins. Niveau poubelle dans la chambre, il y a juste une petite poubelle avec un bébé c'est un peu compliqué (pas gênant de notre côté vu qu'on prévoit toujours des sacs poubelles). Emplacement d'hôtel excellent proche de tout et bien servi.
