Clean, quiet and the staff were helpful and polite.
Good weekend break in London Docklands area.
Great location for the Docklands. Had a good stay, comfy bed and pillows. Price for car parking was very good for London standard and was for 24hrs. Good breakfast and good selection at bar. Talking of bars, the hotel and docklands area all close at 2300 so be aware. Not so good was the stains of on my curtains and the now and again scolding of hot water for the shower. Safety issue for kids. Otherwise a good weekend break in London Docklands area.
Breakfast was very good. The bed was very comfy, but the shower was either very hot or suddenly it would be freezing.
Walls are thin, you can hear everything in the surrounding rooms. Limited members of staff on hand to help with all things service industry related.
Very good but advertised as near 02. Yet you can’t walk there and have to get taxi
Easy walk to Canary Wharf for shops and on to Greenwich, O2 arena or back to Waterloo. Check in online night before was easy and so quicker on arrival. Staff very helpful directing us to O2. Room comfortable and breakfast tasty and plenty of choice. For our needs and experience staying in London, couldn’t fault it! We’ll stay there again.
Very happy
Very efficient staff, clean, spacious, comfortable room. Hotel is central to Canary wharf on foot and the DLR is a 5 minute walk away. Very happy with my stay
Clean and modern very quiet
Watch the parking company!!!!
The stay was fine but I’ve since recieved a parking desipte from paying for the period in question.
Great reasonably priced .
Great hotel close to the tube and Dlr lines . Staff friendly and polite. Good selection of Breakfast items .
Rude and unpleasant personal who do not speak english. Hotel is hard to reach with long walks. The rooms were clean and very large.
Hotel itself seems ok, The room was poor, booked months in advance and was put in an accessible disability room. Shower had a sliding door that was broken and shower was a wet room that didn’t drain away very well. Also toilet handle was broken.
Great location for 02. Perfect for overnighter
Great location. 10-15 min walk from Canary Wharf tube station and then one tube stop to O2 arena. Basic but comfortable amenities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Was charged £10 for earlier check in (1.5 hours early) which felt excessive, given the room was available straight away and the cleanliness of the room could have been better. Otherwise slept well and did the job for an overnight stay
Would not return
Room door rattled every time door closed to stairs to upper rooms causing poor sleep. Our bathroom door did not close fully and creaked when opened. Dedpite being a smart TV all apps were disabled and tv guide didnt work. Breakfast items offered were generslly good however the mushrooms were tinned no tomatoes were offered and the only eggs were fried no scrsmbled available. Needed to ask fir yoghurt to be replenished on 2 out of 3 mornings. On our final night we were debating going out to eat but on spesking to stsff decided to order take awsy a d have a drink at the bar. There was an issue with all drsught lines which the varman assured us he could fix but didnt the vattles lager was much more expensive than draight and we felt cheated. The bed was made each day but the bathroom was not ckeaned ( toilet sest dirty ) cups not changed . Room was small and little to no storage for clothing etc. Bin was emptied and tea coffee and milk refilled. Useful map of underground in foyer but no information in room re bus and tube links ( the hotel is a hood way from central London)
Never again
Stinking bathroom due to extreme drain smell. Couldn’t use it as it was an overpowering foul smell.
Nice stay
Great stay for a good price. Comfortable bed, good location near canary wharf station.
We had a great time!
Lovely clean hotel , great location
No air condition in the room.
I booked the hotel for three nights for a conference around the area, with the amount of the money we paid that hotel wasn’t that worth for. We paid for the breakfast had not much choice and ended up to have breakfast outside. I checked out a day before of my actual check out date. Me hoping I would get at least refund of the day I didn’t used
Basic, but Cozy and Great staff!
Overnight stay with my son for a concert at the O2. Good location for it, tube 5 mins walk away or around £8 in a cab! Room was clean and cozy, staff were friendly and welcoming, breakfast was good and plenty of it! The only slight issue was the electric vehicle charging point wasn’t working but plenty others within a mile.
I wouldn’t say it’s the best run hotel I’ve been to, it worked for me for one night stay for a concert at the o2, short tube ride to and from the arena. The staff weren’t the best and didn’t look at any point pleased to be there but as I say for one night it was all I needed
Great hotel
Great 2 night stay .Comfortable beds and pillows .spacious room .pod like shower toilet room very modern but feels like you are in a caravan toilet lol.Great breakfast spoilt for choice. One little moan change your oblong plates to round ones they are not very wide .Plenty of car spaces .Would stay here again .Thank you to the staff they were a great help for their advice of places to go and how to get to the 02 .
Overnight stay
Easy check in, staff helpful, room clean and big enough for our Overnight stay. Shower powerful and hot. Breakfast was good
A good mid range price hotel, needs a little face lift here and there. Room was clean but actual ceiling lights rather than laps would have been better.
Nice clean hotel
The hotel was nice but its location made it tricky to get to from the tube station without getting a taxi
Very comfortable and pleasant stay
The hotel did a job, lovely breakfast, clean room, however the checkin was half hearted, not interested and generally rushed and poor.
The hotel was very simple, but I was there for work so it was perfectly fine. Bed was comfy, room was clean and staff were very helpful.
Do not accept Blue Badge parking concession. No atmosphere, and out the day.
Poor service upon check in and breakfast. Not friendly or welcoming.
Great hotel
Lovely, went to O2 , 14 min walk from Canary walk station
Loved it here close to everything I needed !!!!!
We had to pay extra for the parking. Shops and local eateries available within walking distance.
Great location for concert at 02, very near docklands station
O2 weekend to see a show.
Excellent for weekend stay… breakfast could be available a little later (9-45 now) suggest 10-15am Nice room… reception staff welcoming and helpful.
Recommend for friends
One night- Friday night to visit relatives. Good to check in online to easy when arrived hotel. The room already air con on that’s perfect when heatwave came to England last week. The bed was comfortable with firm mattress, pillows too softly for me but quite at night to sleep!
Good service
Just stayed a Friday night to visit relatives. Good to check in online to easy when arrived hotel. The room already air con on that’s perfect when heatwave in England last week. The bed was comfortable with firm mattress but pillows too softly!
I was mis sold this hotel by Expedia. I chose this hotel from many I looked at. The deciding factor on choosing this hotel was the electric charging facilities within the hotel. This hotel has not had a charger for over 2 years. I have no idea why Expedia lied to me. Journey home today now included 2 stops due to car being very low. Only charger available last night was approximately half a mile from fatal stabbing 2 days ago. If I had chosen to use this then I would have had to collect car approximately 4am in a very quiet area through an underpass used by numerous homeless people. Would welcome contact from Expedia to explain why this happened
No disability equipment in shower, did not do cocktails or food in the evening
Average
Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Room was adequate with comfortable bed. One tea bag between 2 people was not enough but we were able get more from reception. Breakfast was mixed, the cooked was not good unless you like hard streaky bacon & overdone fried eggs. The continental selection was good. Despite the position beside a busy road we were not disturbed by noise.
The staff were available, attentive and very helpful. They were the best....
The hotel location ia very isolated so is hard to get even a water or some food , I don’t recommend it if you don’t have a car
Staff not helpful
Another great stay.
Our 2nd time staying here and cant fault it ! The staff are polite, helpful and friendly .Slept fine beds and pillows are comfy. Easy access to the tube. Loads of pubs and restaurants around Canary wharf for dining opportunities.
Staff were friendly, rooms were very clean, breakfast was very good with lots of choice. The hotel was quite a walk from trains, main shopping and ferries.
Easy accessible
Good location for Canary Wharf, O2 arena. Room comfortable apart from aircon not the best, especially on one of the hottest nights so far this year. Staff very friendly & helpful. Price paid was high for a 2 star hotel.
Small clean rooms. Fantastic staff!
After an initial night without power to sockets the manager transferred us to another room for the rest of our stay. As a way of apology we were also treated to breakfast! Thanks to the manager and his staff. Great location within 10 minutes walking time to LDR and underground stations!
Super friendly and welcoming
The welcome by the staff given this is a London hotel was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, the room was modern, clean and more importantly very quiet. Again in the morning the staff were super friendly and informative. Only slightly negative feedback, it was a bit of a walk from Canary Wharf, id recommend a cab.
Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest, shower keeps going from cold to hot in seconds and cannot get a good temperature. Walls very thin so can hear everything happening in other people’s rooms
There was a problem with the shower. It kept going scalding hot and burned me. The receptionist said sorry when I notified her but no compensation has been offered.
Staff were super friendly. Bed was comfy enough but air con didn't work and bathroom needed more cleaning. Window could hardly be opened
The breakfast was lovely and the staff were always pleasant. The room itself was very basic and a bit worn. The double bed was Rait comfy but the single bed had a bar in the middle that made it very uncomfy to sleep on. I would say overall a basic stay and not worth the amount paid.
Clean, comfortable & well located
Clean and comfortable with friendly service. Really good location if going to the O2, we found it quick and easy to navigate DLR/Underground to get to and from the arena.
The room was lovely and clean. Bathroom was good And enough space
The employees were friendly and helpful whenever I needed. The room was on the first floor as I was told people wit kids are all on the same floor. I thought that was great. The room itself was smaller than expected, I know Europe hotels don’t have huge rooms. Also the second bed was more of a cot and with 2 beds there was no walking room. There wasn’t any ventilation in the room and if the windows opened I couldn’t figure out how. It smelled like mold and by the end of the trip we all had stuffy noses.
Convenient for O2
Hotel did its job, only stayed for trip to the O2 which was close by tube. Staff very friendly. Room very small but only there to sleep. Shower room make a humming noise all night.
Bob is great….
The stay was OK, but the rooms were quite warm with no cooling so had to leave the window open. Rooms are looking a little dated and could do with a spruce up. Customer service was excellent though, especially Bob on reception, he couldn’t do enough for you and made our stay very pleasant.
Easy to find and easy access to central London and the O2 arena
Clean, modern hotel.
The hotel was modern, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was compact and had a large step down into the room.
Great for Canary Wharf and O2. Cheap parking for London.
Front desk worker Vale, he was so accommodating and a huge help. Lad deserves a raise.
Good break
Every time we come to London we stay at the ibis Docklands staff are lovely rooms are clean and a good location food at the gun is also recommended
Dodgy Showers
No thermostatic shower! Burned me!
Great location for visiting the o2 arena and the city. Easy walk to the DLR. lovely day spent exploring nearby Greenwich. Hotel has everything I needed and a great price for London. Will be back
Dont Judge the Book by its Cover.
It's better in the inside than it is on the outside. I was concerned whilst walking that it was looking bit tired but it was nice, clean and modern inside. By London stndards it was a good sized room and it had everything one would need.
Not a great hotel
The corridors smelt damp, room poorly decorated, had to ask for extra tea and coffee. Breakfast wasnt great either. Wont be revisiting
Was charged twice by the property. Room I was allocated had guests in it when I entered.
Pleasant stay
A lovely stay at the Ibis Docklands. It had everything we needed for a one night stay. There is not much around the hotel but the location was perfect for seeing an event at the O2 arena.
The hotel was fine. In a nice place shame trains were not running
Good value, bathroom a little tired but otherwise a comfortable stay
Overall value good, but elements could be better
Location was excellent, 5 min walk from DLR. Room was fine, clean and functional. Located on the 2nd floor, traffic noise was noticeable, it didn't bother me but if you are a light sleeper maybe not for you. Only real gripe is the Air-Con either wasn't working or it was disabled in some way, the heating element of the unit was working but not the cooling element. The result was the room was hot, could open a window but as the hotel is next to a busy road this increased the traffic noise. I arrived after 10.00pm and was gone the next morning so didn't complain. For 1 night its perfectly fine, though not sure I would stay here is the AirCon didn't work in the heat of summer.
Great Hotel for O2 Arean
Clean and cheerful hotel. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. Just one stop on Jubilee Line and a 10 minute walk from O2 Arena. Will use again.
Bardzo czysty hotel i miła obsługa to co oczekujemy przebywając poza domem wszystko super
Just an average hotel, the cooked breakfast was cold and tasteless, not freshly cooked.
Limited dining and my expectations were clearly in I text thinking Ibis was a good hotel brand, it’s cheap and on par with travel lodge. However it wasn’t actually cheap. The only food offered outside of breakfast was frozen pizza. The breakfast was poor, eggs were like hockey pucks. Avoid, go do a B&B.
Perfect location for a concert at the 02. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Very clean and welcoming just a short walk to the tube.
The facility was clean and provided everything required. Francesca was working the desk and she was incredible. You can tell she enjoyed what she is doing and was very helpful and enjoyable.
Basic hotel, but breakfast was good !
Ideal short stay for work
Ideal while traveling for work the room is very much no frills but makes up for it by being cheaper than others. Canary wharf is only a short walk away so plenty of things to do and also proximity to the DLR makes for great transport links. Very quiet considering the busy road (quiet for London at least!) Didn't struggle for a good night's sleep.
Clean comfortable room of a decent standard for the price. Handy location for Canary wharf which I needed.
Staff were incredibly helpful
Convenient hotel staff was very nice room was suitable
Good location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast
How was my stay?
Good Points/Bad Points: Free WiFi was good £12.50 parking was not good at all when I have already paid a lot of money for what is quite a small room. Bed was very hard however the pillows were comfortable, and having a second one in the room was a good thought. Bathroom floor has what looks like white stains on it around the toilet area which makes it quite uninviting to stand on. Toilet was difficult to flush due to flush mechanism. Air Con not working so unable to sleep properly. In general our stay was okay but the bed spoiled it somewhat. Obviously this is a personal preference and others might rate it highly.
Wouldn’t stay again
Stayed during half term when prices are more reasonable. Wouldn’t pay the price rooms normally are. Bathroom smelled of urine, hairs in the shower, air con didn’t cool. Premier inns are much cheaper and way cleaner and newer! Location great for working in Canary Wharf.
Booked a family room my myself and teenage daughter, was expecting a larger sized room with 2 beds. What we got was a standard room with camp bed for daughter. Limited floor space give extra bed squeezed into room. Had to climb on bed to reach curtains window and kettle. Could barely access hanging rail. Air conditioning didnt work, and noisy traffic once window opened to let in air. Good sized tv.
Stayed to see a band at O2
Good experience although the first room smelt a bit musty ..we switched to anew room easily ,with no fuss.staff there were really friendly .breakfast was good .. no other meals are provided though. Would stay again .
Staff member who we dealt wjth was very helpful. Clean, well maintained hotel.
Great stay
Had a great time, staff were very friendly
Everything was lovely, housekeeping were great.
Very courteous and helpful staff, handy to Canary Wharf
Great stay!
I had a great stay at the ibis London Docklands hotel. It was close to the DLR train station and my room was very clean and my bed was comfortable. The employee at the counter, Carmela, was extremely friendly and went out of her way to be helpful. Her delightful attitude made our stay more welcoming!
Stayed here to see ABBA Voyage, and i can't imagine any other reason to stay here as it's kinda the back of beyond. But what a great little hotel it is. Clean. Super kind and helpful staff. Splendid breakfast. Comfy room with aircon.
Great stay with children for a weekend in London
Staff were fantastic and let us check in early. Location was good, just a short walk DLR with a bus stop outside if you don’t fancy the walk to Canary Wharf underground. No complaints.
Comfortable. Bathroom in poor condition with mould
Very comfortable room and, with a quick glance, looked in reasonable condition. However, condensation builds on the inside of the sliding door into the ensuite and this has led to damp over time. There was black mould on the wall - exposed when the sliding door was shut. Really not good for obvious health reasons! Not sure why it hasn’t been treated. Maybe not noticed? It really is obvious but perhaps people thought it was just black paint or something? Condition of the bathroom overall wasn’t great and it needs a refresh but that is really minor compared to the mould.
The lady at front desk was very nice.
The shower floor in the accessible room was lethal…..slippery when wet. Door to shower room was stuck open but not really wide enough to get thro comfortably. I spoke to the manager who tells me he is arranging for a refitting of all 5 accessible bathrooms. He was very pleasant, helpful and took the best care of me during my stay, albeit he could not resolve the above issue. I hope he gets the funding so I can stay there again. Lovely staff.
Overnight stay
Good for an overnight stay. Comfortable bed. Disappointed that there was no on-site restaurant. However breakfast was good.

Great hotel
Lovely hotel that is nice and clean, brilliant shower in the ensuite and comfy beds. Breakfast was decent too. Takes about 15 mins to walk to Carney Wharf.
