The location was pretty good. I chose someplace close to our tour starting point and the bus stops. The refrigerator and the hot pot in our room did not work. I forgot to tell the front desk about them since we didn’t really need to use them. I wanted to use the hot pot late one night, but never got to.

Excellent location, convenient for tram, MTR and airport bus.Very good value for money in comparison with many other hotels in HK. Acceptable harbour view, although my room's was partially blocked by two buildings. I could see over to Kowloon, but I had to lean on the desk and crane my neck over to the right. I paid at desk for breakfast on two mornings. Good value at offer price HKD99, although some items had run out on my first morning. Two free drinks at bar through Expecia Rewards. Room cleaned each morning.Would recommend. Much like an Ibis anywhere else in the world!

The location is great, A11 bus to the airport is 3 mins walk, close to the ferry to Mauca or star ferry. Harbour view room is very nice. Staff is helpful.

The location is great if you want to explore the old Sheungwan neighborhood in HK. I was there for a meeting ay HK University and it was a pleasant walk up the hill. However, it's not right next to MTR stations so you have to walk 10-15 minutes from either Sheugwan station or SaiYing Pun Station.

Price

Poor wifi spees in the room. Hard mattress even with hotel provided topper. Room's window faces directly into the lobby offering no privacy, meaning the curtain needs to be drawn at all time.

In a great location, transport stops near hotel, walkable to shopping and resturants. There is a laundry cafe just around the corner. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. It would have been nice to have shampoo and conditioer provided and not just an all in one body wash.

Give it a miss

Most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on, super hard, could barely sleep the first night and had sore neck and back the following day that I needed to take pain killers for. Second day I asked for a mattress topper which did improve things slightly. My friend had even worse time in his room, with springs poking through and wonky mattress causing him to nearly to fall out of bed trying to find a comfy spot, he already had requested the topper from day one and ended up needing more, they sent him blankets to make up the bed himself. They should've swapped him rooms coz that sounded more than just a hard mattress. He nearly checked out in middle of the night to go to another hotel. And OMG the lifts..... they took FOREVER, like over 10 minutes at seemingly random off peak times. Only some lifts go directly to ground floor, they're super slow and uncoordinated, by pass floors in front of your eyes and just a super frustrating and confusing experience. Breakfast included, only bothered one day coz it was below average. Location was good, close to 7/11 and MRT. Starbucks, Chinese restaurant and another eatery with western menu all in same complex was convenient, as was the taxi/uber drop off/pick up zone out the front

Amazing!! The staffs are great, a little language barrier but they do whatever they can to accommodate our needs, hence made our 1 month stay an absolute amazing experience. It is located in the heart of the city, convenient!

Convenient and easy transportation

Great housekeeping staff, nice and friendly. I stayed 3 times last two years for over a week reach time and never have a chance for the free upgrade... Always busy and not available.

The hotel is old but room is clean & well kept. The only issue is its very poor wifi connection and it is impossible to do any work if you have to work during your stay.

It's nice for the staff to upgrade us from city view to sea view. The room has her age shown and she had been through alot. Sound proof can be better, bathroom amenities can be upgraded to bidet spray if management want to save the environment. Nice to equip smart tv with network. Overall experience quite okay and we managed to catch our sleep.

Hotel offered a great view. I think that is the plus point and by HK standard, the room is a good size. And location is convenient. However not the best kept hotel. Room was cleaned everyday, but housekeeping forgot to throw rubbish one day and had to be reminded. Left cups unwashed too and claimed that they do not wash the cups if not left in the sink as some guests do not like their cups to be washed. Err.. a rather unacceptable excuse.

This hotel’s location is good with that price. The room is clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Location was good, close to tram stop, bus stop(depending where you want to go), and MTR station. Some basic supply was not available, giving the reason of "government restriction" because of "environmental concern", such as hair conditioner, laundry bag. House keeping was basic, beddings were not "straightened", tea cups were not changed everyday.

The bed was awful and uncomfortable. Even after the mattress topper was applied, it didn’t seem to change much. The staff was amazing though, great people and very helpful

Refrigerator issue in the room

I stayed in Ibis since July 2023m this is our 4th times stayed with Ibis Sheung Wan. I was not happy with the refrigerator in my room. I complaint many times, finally the hotel exchanges a working one for this stay after checked in after 3 days. Reception department told us this situation was reflected but this was out of their control with the upper management's decision. New refrigerators are order but on definite date of delivery for the new fridge.

The room had a terrible orange tint on the window that made it be fully orange when day light came through. Overall a very basic and dated room. Minifridge did make noise but cooled nothing. Good locatiob but not recomendable at all.

Very comfortable

Good location for transport links to all Hong Kong has to offer. A11 bus to airport 50m, trams to Causeway Bay 50m, MTR Sheung Wan 0.5km, Macau Ferry 200m or so. Good clean basic room in a safe area.

We were assigned a room next to the elevators and we could hear the noise of the elevators going up and down the entire night. Wasn’t allowed to stay another room. Not accommodating.

Hotel staff were excellent and very helpful. I had a leaky bathroom and when told u was offered to change rooms but I was limping and we only had a few days left of our trip, so decided not to. Overall great stay, would come again

Great location, close to many to many transport links. Check in and out was very easy and quick. Room was pretty small, but as we spent most time outside the hotel, it worked for 2 people.

Convenient to all tourist area and airport, good manner staff and housekeeper

I had two reservations. In the first reservation gave me a comfortable room, but unfortunately, I lost my airtag. In the second reservation gave me a completely uncomfortable room. I asked to return to my first room or at least to be allowed to look for myself my airtag. In the 15 days I spoke to many representatives, but no one gave me the solution or allowed me to look for my airtag. The last day when I checked out, they only allowed me to check it out by myself. It is not a good customer service.

Pleasant and good location.

We booked this hotel as a post Cruise stay, to give us access to the city for a couple of days. Location was good to get out and about in Hong Kong city...and sample some great foods. Also as an Ibis (All Accor) member, the hotel was up to their standards.....will get a city view next time :-) beds are firm, but you can ask for a topper , which was usefull. Stay was good. Good breakfast buffet, nice view. It was close to train station and transportation; however, surroundings are not as nice.

We stay the second time in 1 week, and we got the harbor view. This is a excellent choice, we love the view, and it's worth the money.

The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful.

Several posters around the property advertise 24-hour food available in the hotel. This isn't true, hasn't been true for a while, and the front desk acted confused when we asked about it. Change your signage. Also, the room had a surprising amount of mold. It was in the bathroom and bedroom areas, and my partner had coughing problems during our entire stay. The rooms are in need of a lot more maintenance and upkeep. Even issues like the metal doorframes showing a lot of rust: understandable in a very humid climate, but it does show a lack of care and attention when it gets out of hand. I also don't recommend the hotel breakfast buffet. Quality was insufficient for the equivalent of $13 USD. Many better options for quick meals in the surrounding area, including the Starbucks downstairs. The surrounding neighborhood was very convenient

My room smelled like sewer and pee. Furnishings had seen better days and ran down. The staff and housekeeping are professional and friendlythough and I likedtbat the rooms are quiet. Let's say I am disappointed about Ibis this time. Great location though.

No amenities provided during the stay. Shower drain was clogged and even after notifying front desk, issue was not resolved.

The room was small but not too small. The bathroom was good but tge shower was very small. We had beautiful harbor view from our room. Loved having rhe l9ng desk type are with chairs to sit and enjoy the view.

Staff are nice and friendly, help is always available. Good location with convenient transportation. During our stay 2024 Oct 21 - Nov 3, we had a pleasant time. We arrived early in the morning, they let us have an early check-in at 8:00 am. How nice !!

Great location. Dim sum next door, 7 eleven across street and tram stop steps away. Also had a Starbucks in building which I generally avoid while traveling but we enjoyed a touch of home. We had a beautiful Harbour View from our room which was postcard perfect. Super fast check in and appreciated that.

Nice hotel with courteous staff. Everything was good, except for the size of the room which is a bit small. But knowing how expensive the property market is in HK and the very reasonable room fee they are charging, we have no complaint at all!

Not what I expected for a 3 star hotel.

The location of the hotel is very good, close to MTR station and tram stop. The hotel is quiet enough, i didn't have trouble sleeping. The room is small but the twin bed is big enough to fit 2 adults and 1 kid. The bed is hard, but i had no problem sleeping on it. The bathroom is clean, but the walls are a bit dirty. There are signs of use, dents and some spots on the wall. The management needs to improve this.

Overall, the hotel was generally nice, clean, convenient for a reasonable price. The staff was generally accommodating. The fitness room was limited, by reservation only to one room at a time, w/ only a rower and dumbells. Satisfied generally.
