Very nice place
Clean and comfortable.
Good location for our sports trip. easy tram into the city and lakeside.
Right beside bus stop. Took us 20m to get to airport.
Good price for Geneva. A little far from center city but worth the effort for half the price.
The staff went above and beyond. Mouse and Bonua are very helpful and always willing to help. This property is highly recommended. Easy access to public transport both buses and tram. 20 minutes away from city centre.
First stop on road trip
Geneva is relaxing
Very pleasant stay, everything was clean and very cool (it was a very hot weekend). Not the most interesting area, but transport links to both the airport and the centre-ville were excellent. My room came with a coffee machine, which was nice, but did however did leak water everywhere. I also had an odd experience with the maids servicing the room one day. They replaced the selection of coffee pods with used ones from inside the machine. No idea why, but hey.
Its okay
What an amazing hotel, everything you need for a fabulous stay in Geneva. Great location, great staff, excellent accommodation. The buffet breakfast and the free city transport pass were just the icing on the cake.
It was suitable
Solid Option for Geneva
I enjoyed my stay - service and friendliness in the bar and lobby area was really nice. Room was spotless every day. Transport links are excellent - right on the airport bus stop and tram stop into the city. Only disappointment was facilities in room - no kettle, had to purchase an adapter at a very high cost, and towels were quite thin. I felt little things added into the room would make a big difference.
Great quality for the price. Clean quiet, decent breakfast selection. Very convenient using public transportation. T14 trolley from the main train station, drops you off less than a block from the hotel. Took the B23 bus right by the front door of the hotel, and got off at Terminal one at the airport in about 20 mins. The front desk gave me a pass to use for free public transportation in Genève.
Perfectly situated 16mins outside the heart of genève, the tram and bus stop are literally right outside, and with trams every 5mins into and out of genève its a no brainer. The airport bus stops right outside aswell, only takes 24mins aswell. Dont worry about cancellations or strikes here, Everything runs like a swiss watch (never breaks down and always on time)
This was what you expect from a budget hotel I guess. Had to get them to change my duvet on the first night as stains on it and the USB sockets were not working. Staff were lovely though.
Geneva trip
Great hotel, staff very helpful and friendly. Very convenient for public transport. Only minor fault some breakfast items not replenished quickly enough.
Got exactly what was expected. Clean, quiet rooms with easy transport links.
Although obscenely short, our 1 night in Geneva was amazing. The reception was a very friendly and helpful lady. The room was fairly spacious and very clean. The breakfast staff was very helpful and the breakfast was decent. The check-out process was very seamless.
Location
Decent location near to public transportation stop. Small room but was ok for 3 nights. Bathroom was a little bit odd. Missing a fridge and welcome bottle of water
Amazing service, staff are super polite and the hotel is very tidy and of a very good standard.
Amazing
Ok no restaurant down load the app if you want to park outside the hotel
Ibis Plus
This hotel was excellent. Clean, spacious rooms, great staff, great location, easy access to public transportation and should have a higher star rating.
Free travel pass and clean room. Good customer service. Parking charge not great.
Best 2* stay I had in years!
Perfect for one night!
Hotel is a 10 minute straight shot to old town on a tram. Not many ameneties but the price is reasonable for a clean and modern looking room. Martha at the front desk was very helpful.
Good value. Tidy and well organised. Nice friendly staff.
Very basic amenities in the rooms but very clean and a good option for a short stay on a budget.
opening windows
If you can't open your window, they do have handles at reception!
Nice hotel and easy travel to airport. No problem in checking in and out. Breakfast is good and facilities are fine.
Nice close to city center and airport Good location and Very good staff and Very kind
Functional hotel - not a vacation place.
Unless you travel with small carryons you will not be comfortable. The bed also is too small. Separate mattresses would help.
An excellent business hotel
This was exactly what I was hoping for in a business hotel: free wifi that works, a good large screen TV that has CNN, a comfortable bed, and a modern, working shower. A kettle to make coffee or tea would have made this perfect. The one downside: breakfast is not included in the price, and is ridiculously expensive, especially when there are very nice cafes within a 5 minute walk of the hotel.
Good clean Hotel in a convenient location.
Freindly helpful staff with very clean functional bedrooms. The Hotel is conveniently located very close to bus and tram stops to use the excellent public transport system of Geneva. The Hotel also provides free travel cards to guests when checking-in to use public transport for the duration of their stay, a great bonus !! We would definitely stay here again if visiting Geneva.
Great location to central Geneva 1 train line to downtown. Nice area with restaurants & market nearby.
Good basic hotel in Geneva
This hotel is clean, with comfortable beds and a good shower. Breakfast was excellent; good choice and plenty of it. Note; it is a 20-minute tram ride from the centre of Geneva; also half-an-hours' bus ride from the airport. However, the Hotel provides a free Transport Pass; very useful. There was some confusion when I checked in; for some reason, the Receptionist was unable to find my booking at first; I gather the name was slightly different; rather disconcerting after a long journey! Also; it appeared that Breakfast was NOT included in my booking; but this could possibly have been a mistake on my part. Breakfast a little pricey at 17 Swiss Francs a day - but this IS Switzerland!
Summer weekend in Geneva
This was my first time to stay at an Ibis hotel. It was clean and comfortable; located conveniently on tram line, which made sightseeing very easy.
Friendly staff, good breakfast, clean rooms and very close to tram stop
Great place
Great place!
It’s an OK hotel
I paid a lot for what it is, but it was still cheap compared to others. I guess it was high season because of the car show. It’s clean ant it has all the basic things that one needs.
Nice place to land for a short weekend trip
We were in for a short weekend. For our purposes this Ibis was close to where we needed to be. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the front desk staff was just great. The free public transportation pass for our stay was a nice bonus that we weren't expecting. The breakfast was simple, but quite enjoyable.
Good hotel in Business district of Geneva
Good hotel for business
.
Simple comfortable.
Great location fab hotel
Great hotel for transport to the town and airport. Fantastic for budget. The hotel was clean comfortable, the staff were great, full of handy hints, very helpful. Bus and tram stops right outside the entrance. Only a couple of things I would add. A hand towel would be good to have in the room and a kettle, even if we had to buy our coffee/tea. Sunday’s everything is shut, lovely to walk around Geneva but be warned that nothing is open,it’s like a Christmas Day. But overall Geneva is a wonderful place to visit and I can’t wait to go back and would stay at the Ibis again.
Good value on the weekends.
The plus- it was close to bus and tram stops. Weirdness- no clocks in the bedroom, only bath towels (no washclothes or hand towels). Called down to ask for an extra pillow, they said "come on down and get it"! Breakfast selection was good, and rooms were clean and quiet.
Nice hotel - easy bus ride from airport
Official check in time 15.00 but very friendly reception staff allowed me to check in around 12.00. Spotlessly clean, comfortable room and very quiet too despite being next to a fairly busy road. Bus stop right outside with journey to airport taking around 30 mins. All staff very helpful with luggage storage, bus routes etc.
Beautiful Geneva
We had a great time in Geneva and the staff very friendly and informative. Geneva visitors also get a free transportation pass which allows you to move around the city to see more sights.
Good hotel, well priced and shuttle bus to Airport
Excellent room, quiet and spacious, staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good but the evening meal was a little disappointing. The ordered meal was 'hamburger with chips' and we were expecting fries but it was packaged potato chips/crisps! There is a fabulous bakery a short walk from the hotel - well worth the walk there to see their choice of breads, rolls, cakes and tarts. The shuttle to/from the Airport was terrific, the only problem being the list of passengers Reception had booked to go to the Airport for a specific time differed to the list the bus driver had, so that caused confusion. The bus runs on a fairly regular timetable which is very useful particularly when arriving in Geneva - just look at the board near where all the buses arrive.
Great Transportation
The check in staff were two gentlemen who were super nice and friendly. The public transportation is the best I've ever seen. Just outside of the hotel is the tram that will take you anywhere for free. Also, there is a very nice supermarket name Migros just across the street where you can purchase whatever you need. Just be aware that you would need to weigh your unpackaged fruits and vegetables before going to the cashier. The Migros market is amazing because it also has a full on pharmacy.
Enjoyable stay
Convenient location. Tram station is just right at the corner. Great breakfast and friendly staff.
A recommended hotel just ouutside of Geneva
This hotel is an excellent example of the Ibis brand. The hotel is about 10 years old, and remains in impeccable condition. Breakfast is good, and WiFi works good. There's a tram and bus stop nearby, so getting to town is a snap.
Geneva Short Stay
All good (breakfast food choice is limited but ok)
Convienent and clean staff very good
The staff were very polite and helpful, room and hotel very clean just a pity no kettle in room to make a cuppa tea/coffee in the morning , location is very good for bus/tram services to city and airport llidl and aldi 3 mins down the road if you won't to relax after a day out and get some snacks very reasonable,tv in room has English channels, yes I would definitely recommend this hotel value for money and you need to save every penny possible to afford to eat out in the city
Excellent
This hotel is excellent, clean comfortable and ideal for team and bus services, near 2 supermarkets and small shopping centre,
Good buy
Good hotel room
The hotel was perfect ! Very very central , free transport and excellent breakfast
Nice hotel close to everything
Nice hotel close to all transport links and the city, but far enough away.
It's fine. Like every Ibis I've stayed in.
The room was almost identical to the room at the Ibis in Bangkok where I stayed. It is nice, clean, functional... It has everything you could need.
Hotel Ibis in Petit Lancy
Hotel is perfect.Price is OK.Check in with no problems.Bus stop in front of the hotel, tram station 50 m. Bus no 23 goes for airport, tram 14 for city center(stop- bel air). I will highly recomand this hotel.
Great hotel
Fantastic stay at this hotel. Easy check-in, super friendly staff. Location is ideal - bus to and from the airport is literally 5 seconds from the front door. And the tram (no. 14) into the city can be seen from the hotel and is a 2 minute walk away. Tram takes you into the city in 15 mins.
value for money stay
Everything about this hotel is basic you get what you see on the tin. But it is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The free transport pass is a bonus and saves quite a bit of money, can be used on trams and buses. Overall its a value for money hotel.
Very nice hotel
from the hotel you can go very easily to any where using the bus or tram for free, even from and to the airport
Good hotel, great price.
Clean efficient service - threw in a public transport travel card for the duration of the stay so getting around was super easy. Highly recommended.
Convenient,clean,comfortable.
Overnight stay before a ski-ing trip.Only chose this hotel because of its proximity to friends we were visiting. However,we feel we would use this hotel again regardless of visiting our friends.
Good value for money
The place of the hotel is not the best you can expect, facing one of the major street with a lot of traffic every time, fortunately the glass of the windows are thick enough so you won't notice the noise! On the other side, it's strategically well placed for transport to/from airport, station and city center, which is about 2 kilometers. There's a couple of mini shopping centre at 200 meters with Aldi, Lidl and Migros, good if you are rushing for some food. The staff was polite and smiling, but sometimes I felt like they were forced to be like that, especially on our arrival, there was a lady acting like a professional but rather cold, in my opinion. But everyone was helpful. Our room (double bed) was really large and clean and the bed was really comfortable. Overall, a bit pricey (but considering Geneva's prices, is ok), but good if you're planning an holiday there.
Everything You'd Need for a Short City Break
This hotel was everything we needed for a short 3 night city break. It was easy to find being on a stop direct from the airport on the bus, the staff were pleasant and helpful and the hotel room itself was spacious and clean. The free wifi was for 3 days for 3 devices, had a good signal and was fast enough for web browsing on a mobile device. The tram stop across the road had frequent trams running all day that took us straight into the heart of Geneva but you couldn't hear anything on a night as the rooms were completely soundproof. A few shops were 5 minutes walk away including Aldi. The breakfast was included in our room price, but to pay on the day would have been 17CHF (around £10.96) and as it was very basic: just bread, pastries and some cereal, this would have been very expensive and not worth the price. My main negatives for this hotel are the lack of kettle and tea/coffee making facilities in the room and the coffee machine in the breakfast room only provided cold coffees, I think the coffee came out warm but the milk for lattes/cappuccinos was pulled straight from the fridge so ruined the finished drink. Overall for the price we paid we were more than happy with this hotel for the location and facilities.
Good budget hotel
Everything was as you would expect for a 2 star budget hotel. Clean and tidy, room and ensuite comfortable, tram close by with easy links to Geneva but about 15 mins away. A little pricey for a 2*.
Geneve Soujour
Typical Ibis hotel with the basic additional services such as bar and dining room. Just what was required with comfortable bed and spacious shower arrangements. Location was important to me, with meetings planned for nearby
It is what it is! Which is fine for a short stay.
We visit our Swiss family often and choose this HOTEL not Budget version to stay as it is convenient to the Canton, on tram route and adequate for a short stay. Staff are very pleasant. Could do with an upgrade on breakfast as very basic indeed. Scrambled and boiled eggs only hot option. Scrambled eggs rock solid, not pleasant. But otherwise a good option.
Good value for money
Although not in the heart of the city, Ibis Petit Lancey was opposite a tram connection into the city, the United Nations sector and most importantly a direct bus to the airport. There was a supermarket nearby and good Italian restaurant much cheaper than city restaurants. The Hotel itself was as expected for an Ibis and the staff as usual friendly and helpful.
Great budget hotel
Fantastic location - 15/20 mins bus ride direct from the airport to right outside the hotel. 10 mins tram ride from right outside hotel straight into town centre. All public transport free with card provided by hotel free of charge. 2 shopping centres nearby including supermarkets. Great staff - very friendly and helpful, spoke fantastic English and happy to help with information about the local area / facilities etc. Especially the man who checked us in, whose name I unfortunately can't remember! Room very good - larger than expected, very clean and new looking. Bathroom was clean and adequate. Air con worked well (made us forget about the sweltering heat outside!). Only disadvantage was no kettle or tea/coffee making facilities. It seems to be a strange small item to try and save very little money on when it would have been so nice to have in the room. A great stay for a great price! Very satisfied.
Good!
The hotel is nice and staff very friendly with smile Location is convenient.
Perfect hotel for a few days in Geneva
This hotel is around ten minutes from the main station in Geneva (Gare Cornavin). Easily accessed by metro line number 14 towards Bernex (get your ticket outside, it's a couple of Euro). Check-in is fast and efficient and you'll be presented with a validated public transport card for free metro and bus use whilst staying in Geneva. Good location, although we only used it as a base. Breakfasts were simple but adequate for long shopping days in the city centre. Overall a nice, pleasant place to stay.
Ok
Good experience, ironing facility could be abit better and also proper cook breakfast will be nice with different varieties.
Great Way To Start Our European Trip!
After having a very long flight from Australia, the hotel was a welcome reprieve! Check-in was a breeze, and the room, although basic, was so clean and comfortable. The staff, both morning and evening, were very helpful with info about public transport and grocery shopping. Wifi was available in reception area only, but it was lovely to sit there with a coffee and rest. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we would definitely recommend the Ibis Geneve Petite Lancy!
A great place to stay in Geneva
A very functional and comfortable hotel that is ideal for that overnight stay in Geneva with the added bonus of efficient public transport just outside its doors.
Visit to Paris
We had a great time. The hotel staff were very helpful with such questions as how to get to places and advice about the Metro. Thank you for looking after us.
Excellent location, clean and comfortable
This hotel is ideally situated, being on a direct bus from the Airport (20 mins), and a direct tram to the city centre (10 mins). It is clean, comfortable, and out of the hotel and to the right is a great cafe, open 7 days a week.
Close to transport
Good to have voucher for tram and bus from motel , grocery shops near by . Quiet place to stay after busy days inner city . I recommend , also free internet daily .
short stay
easy to find ,on tram bus routes, good breakfast worth the money.staff very helpful.
a night in petit lancy
the room is clean as all the ibis hotel quality andm standard. Very quiet quiet surroundind. good beddings as they do all the time. breakfast is not bad but good enough.
just passing through
was surprised to see that there was a IBIS "budget" hotel located next door. I was under the impression that the IBIS chain was a budget brand. Makes me suspect that I over paid. Outside of that I received what I expected.
Excellent and enjoyable
With respect to the location, the hotel is at a quiet residential place which is near a tram station. It only takes 15 minutes to the city center by trams with the complimentary public transport card given by the hotel. The bed, bathroom and other furnitures are clean. The bed is very confortable and big enough for two adults. Soundproofing is good.
Clean and convenient
Very friendly staff. Having to change Internet pass words daily is a nuisance!
It was great
Generic Experience, Good Value
Considering how expensive the city of Geneva is, this hotel is actually priced very well. You are walking distance to a grocery store and a few restaurants (but expect high prices - we paid 50 CHF for the equivalent of take-out Chinese food for 2 people- and rice wasn't included.) This hotel, as with all hotels in Geneva, gives you a free transit card, and it is quite easy to get into the city itself. Driving in this area is easy, and there is a parking garage under the building for 15CHF per day. The rooms were quiet, decently sized, and comfortable. We would have liked a minifridge, but it was cold enough that we just stored some food in the car and brought it in each morning for breakfast. The staff seemed a little aloof, but nothing outright rude or unfriendly. Nice large desk is great for those who have been travelling for a while and want to sort through things, and the glassed-in shower was really nice.
Good all rounder
Very nice stay, staff were friendly and very helpful and the hotel was in an excellent spot. On the tram line directly into Geneva with very nice Boulanger for a reasonably priced breakfast a minutes walk away. Room tended to be slightly chilly even with the fan heater on it took a very long time to warm up and would have been nice to have a kettle in the room. Otherwise faultless stay.
Nice hotel, good price for Swiss location and good public transport links. Fantastic with the free public transport card for the length of our stay.
Surprisingly quiet.
The location was very handy for public transport (buses and trams). Despite being next to a busy junction it was pleasantly quiet. The room suited our basic needs. Continental breakfast was tasty, with decent coffee, but quite expensive over and above the price of accommodation. The restaurant offered a good menu, but was closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, which was disappointing.
A very clean hotel, good location.
Moderate
The room is comfortable. The hotel is about 20 minutes from Geneva city centre by bus. Don't take train to the hotel if you carry heavy luggage because there is a long uphill section after you leave the train station to the hotel. The condition of the room is good but some staff of the hotel are not very helpful. There is free wifi in the room but it only allows one device to connect to wifi at any one time. Therefore, if you have a notebook PC and a smartphone, you have to terminate the connection of one device before accessing the internet through another. The password for the wifi service is only valid for 24 hours. That means you have to obtain a new password each day. The hotel does not provide tooth brush/paste; you may buy one set at the hotel at around CHF 5.
Great hotel on the edge of Geneva
Though not walking distance from the city center, we received free tram passes, and the station is right out the front door. A 15 minute right brings you right into town. Perfect! The room was cozy and clean, and the staff was wonderfully friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
Exactly what you'd expect
The Ibis is exactly what you'd expect. A good, clean hotel for a decent price. The staff are friendly and speak several languages. The hotel is on a bus and tram route which will take you all over Geneva and you get a free travel pass when you arrive.
not so close to downtown
The hotel was OK and clean I think it has to be 3 star hotel some staff was friendly some was not so helpful but bus ticket to airport was good location for transport also good en front of hotel bus 23 can take you directly to airport about 30 minute . TV in the room was so small a lot of chanal but English chanal only 2 abc and CNN I think we have to have more like BBC or euronews english.
Excellent hotel and good value
Enjoyed the stay, clean rooms, good service.
An excellent, new, clean hotel
I stayed in many hotels in Geneva before but I was really impressed with this one. It is clean, modern, excellent service and very good value for money. You can get in 15 mins to Geneva center by tram (running every 5 mins), for free with the card you will receive from the hotel. I will stay again!
Reasonable priced hotel in a good location but....
Great price for a hotel in Geneva. Free pass by tram to city center and other places. I had a car though and needed to pay for parking. Breakfast was ok, nothing great. Room was spacious and clean. However, they had only one towel and no floor mat or towel! Wi-fi passwords reset sometime in the night and my wifi did not work next day!! They staff never warned me. New passwords did not work. It was total 1/2 hour waste of my time in the morning just to access my work emails!!
On good bus route
Hotel room smelt very strongly of smoke (I did request a non-smoking room). Tea/coffee making facilities in the room would be welcome - even Travellodge manage this.
Great location to take the tram into downtown.

Great
