Great location, very close to the metro and lots of restaurants in the vicinity. Hotel staff, Lindsay, Alice, and the two gentlemen who came during nights, were all cordial and very accommodating. Check in and check out were hassle free. Hot and cold breakfast available for an extra fee for adults and free for kids. Our corner room was spacious for 2 people and noises from outside can't be heard when windows are closed. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay.

Nice new clean room in a quiet part of Paris. Metro is right out the door and it’s so easy to go anywhere you want. My room was on the street but it was quiet. Staff was fantastic especially Houshig who was super nice and extremely helpful. She really made the stay very welcoming. Can’t say enough positives. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The only thing I would add is the ability to make coffee in the room or even buy a cup from the breakfast area for a couple of Euro. No biggie. Houshig got me some Sanka but I need that caffeine amIright?

Hotel confortable et bon accueil

Hotel Ibis à deux pas de la station de métro Porte Dorée dans le sud de Paris. Très bon accueil. Petit déjeuner continental en supplément un peu léger par rapport à d'autres hôtels de la chaîne mais ça reste convenable. Literie confortable et chambre très calme.

Great area! Numerous restaurants and stores nearby. Tram stop just steps outside the door, which was running without delay even during the Metro strike. The lovely Parc Bois de Vincennes is about .5 km away. I’ll be happy to return to this lovely neighborhood.

Claims to have free parking nearby, which is a lie. Rooms ara badly dirty, we have had bugs in our bed, which is simply unconceivable. Unbearable!

Staffs are friendly and helpful. Location is good. Transportation is just minutes away. Down side is the room is non smoking but a strong smell of smoke is greeting you when you come in. Size of the room was ok for a couple. Carpets needs to be change. Air conditioning was not working during our stay.

Great hotel but noisy

This is a very well priced hotel in a good location, close to the metro and tram. There are shops and restaurants on the same street along with an immigration museum, aquarium and Park very near by. The hotel itself is very clean, staff are nice, some more helpful (and accurate) than others. The lift is very small so we used the stairs most of the time which wasn’t a problem. Breakfast seemed very expensive at €10.50 each per day. On arrival you were also told about a city tax which was just under €10 for two people for three nights. The rooms are clean and have all the facilities you need. Our room was quite small due to the wall angles but that’s not really an issue. The only issue we had was the noise levels, the walls are paper thin. I slept terribly on the first night as it was just so noisy. You can’t really hear the noise outside the hotel on the street, just the rooms next to you and above you. That is the only thing that would put me off staying there again - even for the price!

Small Comfortable Hotel & Close To Everything

Very friendly little hotel. Rooms are clean and modern although a little on the small side & probably more suited to a short stay in Paris. Very friendly and helpful staff - everyone. Right outside the hotel is a tram stop so it is easy to get to CDG by going to Citie Universaire and taking the train.Trams are super quiet and glide past the hotel unlike Amsterdam trams! Porte Doree metro stop is almost outside the hotel too. There are lots of places to eat out to suit all tastes as well as little supermarkets. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but there is a great Boulangerie & Patisserie just opposite for either eating breakfast inside or buying fresh bread and rolls to take away. Lastly there is a good WiFi connection. Had a great stay and would stay there again or recommend it to a friend.

A nice, budget place to stay

Our room was on the ground floor. This hotel is a basic hotel, inexpensively priced, so with that in mind, it was quite nice. The room was quiet despite being right next to the street. Breakfast was ample European style. The Metro station is just steps away from the hotel (this metro line is about five stops from the eastern end of the M8 line). There was free parking on the street just around the corner. There were numerous restaurants in the immediate vicinity. There are also parks and other attractions quite close, and the location is quite close to the Peripherique and the A4. The walk-in shower isn't perfectly graded toward the drain, so water will run across the bathroom floor. I used the bathmat to mop that up. It was only a minor thing. All in all, an excellent place!

Great stay with very comfortable room. The service was very good and the possibility to order food from the reception 24/7 very convenient! Very close to the underground, great location.

Good hotel for the price and for short stay

The hotel room was very compact, clean, new and good for transportation (near tram, metro). The staff was friendly.

Rooms weren't ready by the time we arrived. We asked for fresh towels never got the. Asked to change beading the maid just fixed the fed, after 4 days sleeping on same beading wast time for a change. It didn't get done, so when told reception attended he then he tried to give the fresh beading for myself to go and make the bed.

It was a reasonable hotel. Small lift for only 3 persons max. Òtherwise all was ok. They need more signs

Small and questionable cleaneness

They should set up a card reader to grant access like all of the other Ibis hotels I've been to in major European cities... being questioned on my way back from a party early in the morning to see if I'm a client is straight up annoying and inefficient. Also sweep/vacuum in the corners.. not only visible areas of the room.

Great staff, warm welcome with a clean and spacious room. Only problem we encountered is that for a larger or taller person the shower was pretty cramped and hard to use. Overall though a nice place to stay for the appropriate amount of money.

Convenient location !

The staff was very helpful and friendly, the hotel was conventionally located in front of the metro which allowed us to travel all over Paris for 14 Euro for two people ! The hotel itself is tiny but when in Paris why spend your time inside?! The breakfast was delicious. Thanks so much for a great stay.

Budget Hotel close to Metro, Bus & Tram

Budget hotel close to public transportation and within a hour or so access from CDG airport. Close to restaurants and cafes nearby, but 40-50mins away from main sites by public transport. As other reviewers noted, walls are super thin and annoying when trying to sleep... No refrigerator, microwave, iron or safe in the room (safe is located at the front desk), two towels & soap provided... However, beds are pretty comfortable

The sheets had clearly not been changed after the previous guest left. The staff was condescending and the vent cover fell off into the toilet. Other than that, the experience was ok. Great location right by public transportation.

Nice hotel close to transportation.

This hotel is right near the metro and the tram. If you're coming from the airport, take the train to City University stop and then the tram to the hotel. (especially if you have a lot of luggage) There was no free communal coffee pot at the front desk, although coffee could be purchased. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The room and halls were clean

Nice Hotel - Paris accessible quickly with Métro

I have been to this Hotel over 10 times and each time I arrive, there is something new - that is an improving.

Not deserving or worth 3 stars

The hotel looks like it's held together with scotch tape and glue. Many of the room doors appeared to have been kicked in at some point. The staff is courtous and helpful, but they think it's amusing that the hotel has no air conditioning. I stayed there in June and the temperature outside the hotel was cooler than in my hotel room. My advice to anyone considering staying here: Stay away!

It was a really cozy little room. Not too expensive and served it's purpose. My only complaint is that they didn't seem to replace things like towels or trash bags and your shampoo/conditioner/soap are all in one and it's kind of awkward to use. But, overall it's still not a bad thing and the room was great for what we needed. Also, don't expect A/C, but that's throughout all of Europe.

Good value for money

It is a perfect option if you are traveling on a budget and you will be out most of the time sightseeing. Room is not big but enough for max 2 people, bed is very comfortable, unfortunately it is a bit noisy and not sound proof as my previous ibis experience, the location is great as metro is just 1 minute walk, I have to say the staff is super helpful and friendly,

The hotel was very close to metro and tram, so it's easy to explore Paris from there. Service at the hotel was also great, and the staff was very friendly. The bed was a little too firm for me but the room was confortable overall.

Perfect location for seeing a gig at Accor Arena

Ideal location for the Accor Hotels areana- able to walk back after the gig. Close to metro and very quick to travel to all of the main sights. Staff very helpful and friendly and excellent value for money.

Highly recommend for an inexpensive getaway

Very good location as the metro is right outside the hotel. There's free parking near the zoo which is only a ten minute walk. You get what you pay for - a modest, clean room. There are plenty of bakeries and restaurants nearby.

Last minute booking which we were grateful to get a room... However the value was certainly not there

Reception ok, but the room.....

Reception is helpful. Location is just above metro. But don't stay in room 103, which is beside reception that you can hear the voice there. While the toilet above you flush, you will find your room sounds like under a waterfall

Decent hotel to stay

Hotel is little bit from from the central, but trains are available frequently . Just 15-20 min by train to central. Great service , decent room , clean and tidy. I ll stay here again

Staff not very helpful

We had the odd shaped room in the corner, but it was overall a great place to stay. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Close to a Metro stop.

Does the job

The hotel was perfectly adequate. There are several places to eat of varying prices nearby and the links into the centre are reasonably good being virtually on top of the Porte Doree metro station.

the hotel was etremely noisy. you can hear the sound of every toilette flushing, others making love, and even the drunks dropping their phones. upon my checking in, one customer checking out complained about the very same thing, but I chose to ignore his gripes, i sincerly regretted not listening to him more carefully. The hotel was not centrally located to important landmarks, the only positive was its location to the train. the room was extremely small and did i mention the noise?

La petite chambre était confortable et le lit très grand. En revanche, le ménage durant le séjour était insuffisant, les gobelets n'ont même pas été changés. Petit déjeuner plus que limite pour 10.50 €.

Das Personal war wirklich sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich, der Service sehr gut. Einzig die Ruhe war beeinträchtigt, dadurch, dass die Türen der Zimmer oft zuschlugen, auch nachts spät, was sehr störend war. Auch die Belüftungs schächte verursachten - besonders bei Wind - ein permanentes, wenn auch nicht sehr lautes Rauschen. Sonst war aber alles zufriedenstellend. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr praktisch!

Bon accueil et hôtel bien placé. Le petit déjeuner était bon, comme standard pour un Ibis. La chambre était propre, même si petite comme partout à Paris. Un groupe de jeunes restaient à l’hôtel et étaient un peu bruyant jusqu’à minuit. Je trouvais le lit un peu dur pour moi, mais c’est mes préférences.

Este hotel tem uma boa localização porém muito barulhento. As paredes dos quartos parecem um papel, são tão finas que você ouve literalmente tudo o que acontece no quarto ao lado, além disto tem luzes fortes da rua na janela e a cortina não as cobre. O único ponto positivo é a localização que fica ao lado de uma estação de metrô e uma padaria ótima que tem na frente onde tomamos o café

Ik ben 2 nachten verbleven in Hotel ibis Daumesnil Porte Dorée, Het verblijf was prettig en aangenaam. aankomst en ontvangst is goed en duidelijk. De hotelkamer netjes basic goed bed. Enige aandacht punt is de luchtafvoer die door de kamer heen gaat die maak best wat geluid snachts. Verder ontbijt goed. kortom ik kan dit hotel aanbevelen Oh en de omgeving is erg mooi dicht bij een park en 10 min uit de stand met de metro dus prima voor uitvalbasis.

Chambre bien fraiche, pile à coté de l'endroit où nous avions besoin d'être. Le petit déjeuner pourrait être agrémenté de pain local, il en serait meilleur. Pour le reste, bonne literie et service de réception particulièrement accueillant.

We stayed there for six nights, and the air conditioner was out of order for 5 night. It's too hot to make us sleep. And the hotel did nothing.

Pas de parking compris dans le prix de la chambre, le parking recommandé par la réception de l hôtel est hors de prix et pas du tout pratique, c est en fait un garage de mécanicien, il faut manoeuvrer tant et plus pour se garer, les forfaits sont à l heure ou pour 24h, pas de réduction pour des 1/2 journées!!! Accueil très moyen, réceptionniste pas du tout souriante. Chambre minuscule, rangement quasi inexistant, produit de toilette hyper basique, linge insuffisant, pas de mini bar.... un soit disant 3 étoiles ?????? Mon mari et moi sommes très décus et mécontents, on ne remettra plus jamais les pieds dans un hôtel Ibis.

Hôtel idéalement placé pour visiter paris . Tramway à la sortie de l’hotel et métro à 100m . Accueil parfait, sympa. Par contre , en face d’un carrefour à feux avec bruit de la circulation . Les stores occultants ne sont pas bien occultants dons éclairage extérieur assez présent dans la chambre .
