Pool minute and closed, near the car park…not inviting. Hotel in an industrial complex. Cold eggs and sausages at breakfast. I usually LOVE Ibis hotels…this one was not great…

Hotel is close to the highway. A perfect layover location if you are going to Spain.

Didnt get round to using the swimming pool but this budget hotel has a small but nice outdoor one! Room was great for a family of four - breakfast was excellent.

Very comfortable place to rest and explore the Carcassonne castle while driving from Bordeaux to the Mediterranean side. Everything is clean, comfortable, great breakfast.

Wonderful place - - very clean and convenient. Stayed one night in route to the Spanish coast (Cadequez and Lloret de Mar). Close to old medieval town, restaurants, and grocery store. Great breakfast and very friendly staff.

Friendly staff and good quality food

We found the food served in the restaurant to be of a very high standard despite the budget nature of this hotel. The food was as good, if not better than any other restaurants we visited whilst in Carcassonne

Lucky find

We wanted to see Carcassonne but concerned about staying within the walls. The Ibis was a great choice 5 mins from the car park and short walk to the entrance. The hotel was easy to find with sat nav but might not be so without as it is just on business estate. Rooms were comfortable and clean with great shower. We enjoyed our evening meal and service was quick and attentive. Good value recommend.

The Good and the Bad.

Good location, not far from the castle. Clean,efficient. Reasonable rates. We had previously been in Ibis hotels, but in Northern Europe. This one seemed to be newer, and the room seemed more cramped. We were travelling with a single friend, and he said that he thought that the room was fine for a single person, but that ours was more difficult to move about in because there were two persons. True. The space between the TV and the bed was tight, and we could not both pass at the same time.

This Hotel is just what a traveller needs. Good parking, friendly staff, comfortable room with TV, free WiFi, Shower, Bath and big comfy bed. The restaurant serves Good French food and great wine at a reasonable price! The breakfast is as expected with plenty of choice and endless coffee!! and my booking included breakfast which made it even better value. I would happily stay here again!

Easy to hop from parking lot on to road to the old city. Nice restaurant/bar. Quiet after 11pm, but road noise prior to 10. Not enough electrical outlets - i could only find 2. Bring outlet strip.

Better than immediate impression

Not easy to find, perhaps my sat nav is too old though it will be younger than the hotel, and the downmarket trading estate behind it is not inspiring. Staff very helpful and the evening meal excellent and reasonably priced.

Good Hotel on city edge

Good hotel - although a little older. Rooms were small but very well presented with excellent beds and bedding. Location was on the city edge about a 5 min drive to the city centre. Good hotel for a one night stopover.

As usual at Ibis hotels, very serviceable, very predictable, just right for a value-for-money overnight stay.

The staff were extremely friendly. The location is great if your driving. You can walk to the castle from the hotel (about 20min)

Le personnel est vraiment adorable, dommage que la piscine etait couverte en plein mois d'aout il y avait pas grand soleil mais les 25 degres permettez de se baigner quand meme, l'hotel est bien mais manque d'entretien extérieur et l isolation est vraiment pas top .... on entend vraiment les chambre voisines, nous n avons meme pas osé mettre la télé.

Très bon séjour

Nous sommes venus passer 2 jours à Carcassonne en famille après avoir fait découvrir la réserve de Sigean puis la cité médiévale ainsi que le gouffre de Cabrespine à nos enfants. Notre séjour à l’hôtel a été très agréable et confortable.

Le samedi matin sur le parking ma femme est tombé avec mon fils dans les bras car devant la poubelle il y a une bouche d égout avec un trou énorme. Direction urgence de Carcassonne avec une entorse à la cheville gauche, genoux droit bien amoché et mon fils visage et corps bien amoché aussi. Dommage que les vacances se termine comme cela

Trevligt med pool även om vi ej använde. Tyst och trevlig uteplats. Nackdel var en ovanligt låg toalettsits som skämde ett annars mycket bra rum. Bra service i reception och restaurang.

Staff were pleasant & helpful. I liked the dip in the pool! We did not know there was another Ibis in town & were directed thére, which was confusing. We were expecting a more prominent sign for Ibis! The steak from the menu was disappointing. The intro was a meal in itself for the "English"!

Hotel pequeño. Habitación algo justa para 4 personas. Se encuentra en zona de supermercados un poco separada de la cité. Pero para descansar simplemente, es una muy buena opción. Muy limpio, bien decorado, personal muy amable y con parking gratuito.

Personnel qui me prend pour un homme alors que je suis une femme et me que je dis que peux aller à pied seul au restaurant qui est 3 minutes de la a pied accosté 5 fois j ai pris peur si non tout était bien

Informations limite contradictoires (sujet restauration en chambre) Vraiment pas débordés ce soir là, mais pas idée de vous ouvrir la porte quand vous posez votre plateau au sol pour le faire... Dommage. Plateau repas au top.

nous avions une chambre familiale un peu petite pour 4 personnes car le canape deplie prenait beaucoup de place mais pour une nuit ce n etait pas tres important. la literie etait tres bonne. la chambre etait basique (pas d armoire, petite salle de bain) avec le stricte necessaire. petit dejeuner bon et varie avec sucre ou sale. nous aurions apprecie un peu plus de choix en plat chaud sale comme dans d autres hotels. accueil tres sympatique. hotel situe proche acces autoroute et grands axes mais l acces en voiture vers la cite est tres simple.
