Very unhappy. The website says free offsite parking. But there isn’t any. They have a ramp but that isn’t free either and there are only 25 spots so good luck getting one. I ended up having to pay an additional $100 USD to park my car. I never would have picked this place if I knew. Also, the site says that A/C is available. It was at least 80 the entire time with the A/C on full blast. You can open the window but then you get all of the street noise and it is right on a major road so it is very noisy with the windows open. Says reception is available 24/7. Again that is not true. Between 9pm and 7am there is no one.

Small room but very clean and bed was comfortable. Access to the hotel after hours (19:00) was through the Ibis Styles hotel next door. Great location close to the T1/2 Tramway.

This is a very basic hotel, as the name suggests. The rooms are small, but it has what you need if you're there for a short stay. It's on a very noisy street, but the windows are very well soundproofed, so the noise will not bother you at night.

You get what you pay for. Ok for one nights sleep but no more

Great hotel option in Lyon

Staff extremely helpful and friendly from check-in to check out-the cups of ice were much appreciated in the heat! Location was an easy walk from Gare Perrache and the nearby area had plenty of restaurants, shops and you can take the Vaporetto to the old town from nearby. My room was clean, had the basics necessary and was a decent size. The river view was a nice, unexpected bonus and the breakfast included was a good way to start the day. This Ibis exceeded my expectations on all fronts. Recommended!

I booked a night at Ibis budget (**) but the good news is that they share the services with Ibis style (***) which was in the same building. Very professional staff at the reception who exposed city highlights and transportation options to the airport. Also I left my luggage at the luggage room for the whole day, it was very convenient. The room (621) is just above a jail cell. VERY bare, paint-chipped, bathroom fixtures falling off the walls, very depressing room. I would never stay here again. The lobby and staff were pleasant though.

Run down ruuns where the paint falls off. Hair of previous person in shower, bathroom. Filter of A/C very dirty. Code for parking garage "forgotten" by the reception person...took a while to get out of the parkling garage. Worst Ibis I ever stayed in.

No hair dryer in room or clear method of acquiring one, room too hot with an inadequate air conditioning unit.

The hotel was really convenient. The staff made a small mistake in insisting that I hadn't fully paid via Expedia but when I approached them the next day with the evidence, they were professional, polite, and went to extreme lengths to reimburse me the extra charge -- because (hot tip for travellers) they cannot easily reimburse you if the card you used was AMEX, but after multiple tries they found a way. I was really appreciative of this as I felt partly responsible for the error after not insisting more clearly that I'd paid. So even though this happened, they get HIGH marks from me. The only other down side is that the walls are quite thin and you'll be able to hear everything happening in the rooms around you.

The air conditioning was not working and they did not give us a warning and when we told them about it they said it was because of construction and that it will take 2 more weeks

Stayed in Lyon for 3 nights recently and this hotel is in an excellent location. Close to Perrache for good links to all the city - including to Part Dieu to get the train to the airport. Taxi to the hotel from airport is around €50. Room was small and basic as expected but as i was out all day and just using it as a place to shower and sleep then is was ideal. Only thing i would say the room could do with is a safety deposit box/safe. I had no issues in terms of safety there but i always feel that is a absolute necessary. Highly recommend brasserie George which is a 5-10 min walk from the hotel.

Good clean budget hotel

The hotel was exactly as described and perfect for our needs, definitely basic and budget but clean and accommodating! Only complaint was the location... we were just looking to sitesee and there was really nothing close to the hotel so we had to walk 40 mins to get to old Lyon. My fault probably for not researching that better, but want anyone looking to know that!

To avoid if you can, not worth all this money!

The room was cold. Huge television. very bland, clinical walls and no decoration. very noisy from the traffic outside and the neighbours. I hit my head against the piece of wood which was part of the bunk bed on several occasions. There is not enough space between the bottom bed and the top bed. The shower was too small. I hit the taps and the walls with my elbow while turning on several occasions. Also, I almost fell because the floor was very slippery. This floor should be replaced with proper tiles. The sheets were not clean and the cover of the quilt had not been freshly washed. The bedside corner is tiny. One cannot put an alarm o'clock or book... or personal belongings. The washbasin had a plug hole and a plug but nothing to take off the plug. One had to use finger nails. It is a box not an hotel room really. On my arrival, the receptionist was very impatient. She could not wait to get rid of me. I asked for my room number and she replied it is on your card with a tone of voice which suggested 'what sort of question is that?' She needs to learn to speak slowly, to listen to the questions and to reply in a polite way. It is not necessary to treat customers as if they are stupid or mentally defective. She asked me about the breakfast twice. I guess she was trying to make more money. I do not think I ever understood the way to leave the hotel first thing in the morning because she spoke so fast.

Good in all aspects as a budget hotel but thin internal walls meant I heard snoring from next room. Staff excellent and located not too far from central Lyon

Not my choice to stay for a holiday. Felt this was more basic than Travelodge, rooms smaller too. Place felt rather institutional. Stayed three nights.

Basic, budget hotel

It's an Ibis Budget - you get what you pay for, i.e. a room and a bathroom. It's no-frills, designed for people who just need a bed for the night; not a five-star luxury hotel. It's the hotel equivalent of flying Ryanair. Yes, the rooms are small, but absolutely fine for my needs. The bed is firm, but I like it that way so this wasn't a concern. The room was clean, the bathroom spotless, and the shower good quality - and it was within the room, not shared, which is always a bonus. I checked in late at night and wasn't too impressed with the receptionist. He was very blunt and just seemed keen to get rid of me as quickly as possible. He didn't provide me with the wifi password, and I didn't realise the wifi was free until the following day. Service could be better in that regard. The location is good, very close to Lyon Perrache station and within a couple of minutes' walk of tram line T1. I walked to the old town from the hotel, which took about 45 minutes but was easily done (apart from the hill climbing!).

Basic hotel stay in Downtown Lyon. Nights are a bit shady in the neighborhood, but daytime is fine. Very limited hotel parking available, but plenty on the street after 7 pm (and free). The rooms are strange, all having bunk beds, and hit our heads quite a bit due to the awkward location above the main bed.

Propre et personnel aimable j'avais une chambre avec la salle de bain ouverte dedans, original. un peu bruyant si vous donnez sur rue car cela donne sur les quais.

The room smelled really bad. We had to open always the window, but the smell didn’t gone. The a/c was only with heating and not cooling. Overall it was ok when you don’t stay long in the room. In the room is not enough space to put clothes somewhere. Even no space to open the luggage fully except for the bed. .

Séjour agréable et hotel assez central, le personnel est agréable et au service des clients. Les chambres sont propres. Deux bémols : Un les chambres triples. Soit on a un lit en hauteur mais le matelas est très fin donc très inconfortable soit c'est un lit au même niveau que les autres mais alors impossible de circuler et de poser une valise. Deuxième bémol, dans la salle restaurant des citations nahurissantes : D'abord une de Woody Allen : Mon deuxième organe préféré c'est mon cerveau( quand on sait ce qui lui est reproché ...) Deuxième citation de Marilyn : J'ai toujours pensé que je n'étais personne. Et la seule façon pour moi de devenir quelqu'un... et bien c'est d'être quelqu'un d'autre ! Au secours ! Et la troisième : Chez nous on partage les emmerdes, pas le pognon. J'en n'ai oas vue d'autres... C'est quoi cet hotel ? Un relais pour machos en mal de boosters ? Accueil du soir abominable et impersonnel. Un parking annoncé toujours disponible, nous n’avons pas pu y accéder, complet! Nous nous faisons recarder sèchement, nous nous faisons dire que nous n’avons pas appelé le bon hôtel pour prendre les renseignements - double étonnement, l’hôtel contacté a confirmé avoir notre réservation.

Die Unterkunft ist zweckmäßig und dem Preis entsprechend. Die Sauberkeit der Fußböden und des Badezimmers ist stark verbesserungswürdig. Das Duschgel im Seifenspender war leer, was natürlich ärgerlich bei der ersten Dusche war. Das Parkhaus ist nur bis zu einer Höhe von 1,90m zu benutzen, was einige Fahrzeuge ausschließt. Das angebotene Frühstück war sehr mager ausgestattet, keine Eier, kein Käse, kein gute Brotauswahl. Das Hotel ist günstig gelegen, um die Innenstadt von Lyon zu erkunden. Ich würde aufgrund der fehlenden Sauberkeit das Hotel nicht erneut besuchen.

Un bon hôtel

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel. Il est bien situé car assez proche du centre ville de Lyon (20 mn à pied de la place Bellecourt), du musée Confluence, de la gare Perrache (15 mn à pied) mais le quartier n'est pas très agréable. Il y a un parking payant sur place mais non réservable à l'avance (12 € la nuit). Le réceptionniste a été très souriant et agréable, on croise rarement des personnes aussi sympathiques et professionnelles, et c'est bien dommage. La chambre n'était pas très grande mais suffisante. Toutefois, nous n'étions que 2, à 3 personnes je pense que cela fait vraiment petit. Le matelas était confortable, l'hôtel calme. La salle de bain était assez petite (la douche également) mais rénovée. A noter que nous avions une odeur assez forte d'égouts dans la chambre (chambre 220). Le petit-déjeuner était suffisant et on peut manger dehors, ce qui est très appréciable ! La terrasse est agréable. Nous avons passé une bonne nuit et le rapport qualité/prix était là (64 € la nuit pour 2 adultes lors d'un concert au stade, avec réservation plusieurs mois à l'avance).

I’m not sure is it difference between cultures or just type of hotel, but the breakfast was unbelievably scarce and nutritionally poor. And as to underline the ”budget”, the room really was clean of everything. I’m too old (40) for this kind of accommodation and I consider myself dumd..s for paying of this, or is Lyon this valuable place to stay in June? Overrated!

L'hôtel situé entre la Gare de Perrache et le Musée Confluence est à proximité des moyens de ransports permettant de visiter facilement la ville de Lyon. Confortable, très propre et très bien insonorisé avec un personnel accueillant, sympathique et très professionnel.

A experiência foi como geralmente é em qualquer Íbis, estacionamento e café da manhã pagos, quartos pequenos , nada de novo.

"Éco-responsabilité" ? De grâce, ne tombez pas dans ce panneau "hype". Vous suggérez à vos clients de prendre l'escalier pour "dépenser des calories " ? Je vous rappelle que l'effort physique produit + de CO2 ...et donc qu'il participe au réchauffement cllimatique. Eh oui... Ce n'est qu'un exemple de l'esbrouffe écologiste. Bien à vous !

Otel konum olarak merkezi yerlere çok uzak değil ama toplu taşıma kullanmak gerekiyor. Odalar boyut olarak küçük. Asıl sorun ise kahvaltı, tek çeşit peynirden tabağa 4 adet koyup açık büfe demek saçma. Kahvaltıda her şey çok sınırlı, et ürünü ve yumurta zaten yok, fiyatını haketmiyor. İbis Otelleri içerisinde karşılaştığım en kötü kahvaltı hizmetiydi.

Notre séjour c'est très bien passé le personnel est très sympathique. L'hôtel se situe à 2 pas du centre ville.

Personnel très sympathique, hôtel simple, propre et confortable. Petit déjeuner pas mal. Petit bemol pour la douche, les portes ne s'ouvrent pas beaucoup et donc la douche n'est pas adaptée pour tous le monde. Mais dans l'ensemble hotel avec un bon rapport qualité/prix.

Bonjour Mon séjour à l'hôtel Ibis Budget Lyon Confluence, de 4 jours, s 'est très bien déroulé. L' accueil a été chaleureux, l'enregistrement impeccable. La chambre était propre, bonne literie, hôtel calme et très bien situé, tram à 15mn de l' hôtel. Un grand centre commercial, Confluence et magasins, restaurants, aux alentours. Le petit déjeuner de l' hôtel était copieux L' accueil m' a bien renseigné, sur les lieux à visiter, Je conseille cet hôtel Ibis budget.A bientôt. Roger de Toulouse.

Boa relação custo beneficio, padrão Ibis. Boa localizacao, perto da Estação, próximo ao mercado Lidl. Otimo atendimento. Limpo e silencioso. Atendeu nossas expectativas pra 1 noite.

Situado muy cerca de la gare Perrache, limpio, agradable, simple, ideal para para la noche y descansar. El desayuno es bueno pero podrían mejorarlo ya que tiene todo pero no hay huevos. Lo volvería a visitar sin ninguna duda

On peint tout en vert, attention c'est du faux! Très bon séjour MAIS... Je ne supporte plus l'hypocrisie des hotels dans la préservation de l'environnement. On vous fait croire que les "serviettes se tranforment en arbres"... J'ai suspendu ma serviette au porte-serviette, et on me l'a changée, malheureusement comme chaque fois...

Quarto minúsculo, mesmo para os padrões da rede Ibis. Enviei email antecipadamente, falando sobre o check-in antecipado. Não foi respondido e ao chegar, às 8h, fui informado que não tinham quartos, que eu não poderia aguardar na recepção por questões de Covid-19 (no entanto, se pagasse o cafe da manhã, poderia ficar, inclusive sem máscara, na sala ao lado). Informei que havíamos feito o teste, estavamos vacinados com 3 doses e também com o passe sanitário europeu. Não adiantou nada. Reforço que era dia 1/1, lojas fechadas e um frio enorme. Fomos praticamente expulsos da recepção do hotel. Péssimo gerenciamento e cuidado com o cliente.
