The rooms were excellent spotlessly clean and with everything you need. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good value. The gated entrance was a bit off putting

My review

The staff were welcoming and friendly. For a budget hotel the room is clean and tidy. My room was a bit noisy with a fan sound nearby. There was loud slamming of doors on the corridor at various times.. The room was overlooked by offices and was in a dip so I kept the window blind down for privacy most of the time.

Nice spot

The place was in a good position for a €12 to €15 taxi to Alicante town and the airport. The sea is very close by, but no beach. No where to eat in the area and nothing available in the hotel after breakfast, except a reheated pizza or pasta. I believe the chef was ill. If you dont like the smell of cigarettes then the budget side is not for you. Wasn't my best or worst experience but for 3 nights it was cheap. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Rather more basic than I realised when booked

This hotel was just what we needed for a short stay close to the city and airport. Clean room, comfy bed, and generous breakfast. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. The design of the shower did cause it to flood on first use, which was quite a shock,m (I’m just another person was in the room to notice, otherwise it could have been a disaster). The TV didn’t work, which isn’t too much of a loss, but the Wi-Fi could definitely do with improvement.

The Motel is by the sea side , 2 stops or thereabout to the city centre and 2 stops the other way to the airport. It is a Motorway so you cant walk you have to use the bus etc. The Budget IBIS is a MOTEL right next to the IBIS hotel. The Hotel is where you check in and have food etc.The price is just 10 Euro difference on the day i went so i should have upgraded but i did not and i regret it as i was not able to sleep at night because some people could not stop smoking weed etc in their rooms. Other than that ,the room was basic and good. Shower seperate,toilet seperate , sink in the room near door. Lights perfect ,bed basic ,clean towels in room ,no soap ,no kettle but kettle and microwave is in the lobby of IBIS BUDGET downstairs. There is also a vending machine for Crisps and drink downstairs IBIS BUDGET.You can order something Basic for 10 euro or you can go to IBIS HOTEL where there is a cook available for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is Basic - Real Orange juicing Machine ,Hot drinks , cereal ,bread , fruits ,Cold turkey ham and Cheese. Boiled egg etc. There isnt any shop or eatery within walking distance and there is a B and B hotel next door. Good walks /Run in the morning as scenery is very good. Palm tree line the walk and waking up to see the sun rising on the sea is a good bonus.It will have been Perfect if not for the ridiculous smoking going on all through the day and night. Horrible smell coming in through the vents because of this . Very quiet neighbourhood .

Very budget .very small rooms but conviemt for airport

The hotel is close to the airport but is pretty isolated and there are no restaurants or stores around, but they have a cafeteria that opens till 11pm, and the staff at the hotel are very helpful, they reserved a taxi to the airport for us. The taxi was €14 and it came at 5:30am to pick us up. The other option is bus C6 but it runs once an hour during the night and you would have to wait on the road until is shows up...

The room is very small. The bathroom is very very small. There was a water leak from the air conditioner.

Excellent location - basic clean acco0mmodation

Extremely convenient location with parking for alicante airport. Basic accommodation, but clean and everything needed for a couple of nights. 24 hour reception and bus stop outside to airport or alicante centre (C6). If staying longer consider the normal rather than budget ibis, at the same location.

Good stopover

Brief stop having arrived at 1AM at the airport. Taxi was €13 and Ibis Budget is in the same location as the Ibis, in fact, check in desk is in the main Ibis. Well greeted even at an early hour and room basic but clean and perfect for the price. Will definitely use again for late flights.

Dirty duvet for unknown reason was separately from duvet cover, the smell was not ok, the cleaning not proper. The property is in the middle of nowhere. Don’t recommend it at all

We only stayed at the beginning and end of our trip to be near the airport. We arrived late on bith nights. Check in was easy. Staff were very helpful. The room was basic but clean and had everything we needed. Perfect to get to the airport.

Adequate choice near the airport

Basic place with nice, quiet rooms. Took me a while to get the vending machine in the lobby going. Shuttle bus to the airport would be major bonus

This hotel is very basic but for an overnight stay for the price it is perfect especially for the airport. Only negative thing was the room smelled strongly of smoke obviously from the previous occupant. I suppose we could have complained at the time but was only staying for 12 hrs. Other than that for £32 it suited our needs perfectly. Only 10 mins to airport.

No Towels given, Location not ideal. Spotted between airport and the center, but not close enough to either.

You get what you pay for. I have never stayed at a budget hotel before, so it surprised me. No safe or phone in my room, found the reception staff on the first day not to be so helpful it would have been nice to be warned that going into town was better by a means of transport as opposed to walking, due to the distance and that there was a cycle race taking place, so roads were closed off.

Clean, cheap and basic accommodation.

What can I say, at the Ibis Budget you get a cheap no frills hotel room. It’s probably the most basic room I e ever had but it was clean, the bed was comfortable, you get a shower, toilet, plenty of hot water and the air con worked. As a place to stay overnight it serves the purpose. There is free on site parking and the regular Ibis hotel next door has a 24 café bar which serves food, drink etc.

Everything excellent but buses goes no often to the centre of Alicante.Too much time spending to wait for the bus.

Noisy

Very noisy throughout the night with people running around the hotel, shouting and slamming doors. Did not get any sleep at all.

One night argumentative reception hell for 14€ Fee

Annexed accommodation was enforced - no elevator to 2nd floor found, had to request a ground floor room change, whilst all the time Adrian negated to give me a room in the hotel as booked, & enjoyed per previous trip. Adrian was the circus master & chose to deny me as a gold member my reservation room at hotel Ibis as booked & paid - demanding a 14€ surcharge with no justification or reason. I was cold no adequate blanket & so basic a room not even a glass or drinking cup was provided. Nowhere in booking was annexed accommodation described or contracted. Accord hotels & Tourism authority complaints & refund request. Accord hotels - don’t do this to your cherished clients

Great and affordable place to stay near Alicante airport. Bus stops right outside to go to and from airport. Cafe on site for food and drink. Nice shower.

The room little bit small . Bed wasn’t comfortable and location little bit far from the center.

It’s really good place to stay , rooms are super small and I was shocked how bathroom is build in the room like there is not separate bathroom, but overall is good and cheap . One minus pizza form package for €9 is a bit too much but we were super hungry . Good place to stay .

Good place to stay, close to the airport. The only problem is a bus from/to city center, it costs 3.85 EUR each ride. Other route was not available unfortunately. Breakfast has two options - small buffet and a large one. Small one for 4.95 was good.

Checkin was painfull. Very slow and seemingly disorganised. Hotel typical of a budget hotel, very basic. Very noisy. Food in restaurant was pretty bad. Service pretty poor. The cleaning crew stole a bag of groceries from my room, claiming they thought it was rubbish. Absolutely no help or resolution from reception. I have filed a complaint with Accor Hotels. Not happy

Hostel not Hotel

Our room room was listed as budget. But in fact is more of a Hostel. Its also separate from the main hotel. Tiny tiny room, not very clean. Amenities zero, those are located next door at the real IBIS hotel. Where paid additional breakfast was pretty good.

Hyvä hotelli yhden yön yöpymiseen sekä kätevän matkan päässä kentältä, että kaupungista. Saimme hyvin nukuttua, aamupala oli riittävä ja bussi kentälle lähti aivan hotellin edestä. Yöpyisimme uudestaan.

Comida malísima y cara

Lo peor la comida, el hotel está ubicado en un sitio apartado, dónde ni siquiera llegan muchos locales de comida a domicilio, por lo que ellos se aprovechan de los precios de la comida. Carta muy corta, con precios desorbitados y comida de muy baja calidad... Lamentable el servicio de cenas teniendo en cuenta al precio que están cobrando actualmente las habitaciones.

Außerhalb gelegen zum Zentrum von Alicante 5 km laufen oder auf Bus Linie 27 warten, der ca nur alle 30-40 Min fährt. Zeigt dann auch schon mal an „complet - espere el siguiente“ Linie 6 hält zwar, das TAM Ticket zählt hier jedoch nicht. Das Zimmer war im allgemeinen sauber, nur eines Abends kam mir im Bad eine Cucaracha entgegen. Zimmer im EG ist vllt anfällig hierfür. An der Rezeption hat man sich zwar dafür entschuldigt, aber so wäre das halt hier.

Worst experience I've ever had

It was not the best possible experience, as I had to wake up well before 4 a.m. to reach the airport on time. I was initially given wrong room at the reception, which was quite inconvenient as the assigned room was already occupied. I understand that mistakes do happen, and I usually don't mind minor inconveniences, but other aspects of my experience were subpar. In my new room, I noticed a peculiar odor, as if someone had been smoking there before. Moreover, the walls are quite thin, so all the sounds from the adjacent rooms and corridors can be easily heard within the room. During the evening and night, there was constant loud traffic in and out of the building. To make matters worse, someone triggered an alarm at 2 a.m. I don't have the energy to list all of the various small details. What I am particularly concerned about is the way the reception handles guests' passports. I truly hope that there are security guidelines regarding copies taken with a phone and that the said phone is under the control of the organization.

Super séjour relaxant

je descend systématiquement dans cet hôtel à chaque fois que je descends sur Alicante car il cumule toutes les qualités, proche de l'aéroport de la mer du centre ville de Alicante, un copieux petit déjeuner est servi pour la somme de 8,50€. De plus il y a un restaurant sur place dont le bar est ouvert en continu.

Aug 22, 2023 at 0845 pm an extranger took my back pack at the hotel lobby and run out the hotel into a vehicle waiting for him. To access into this hotel lobby a person needs to go through two check points and an exit code is required to leave the hotel. Support from Manager Mr Pascal very poor, the support to call police was very suspicious when the employee call he said the police won’t show up, we insisted and my wife call the police and they immediately approached the locations six agents.

Gran pequeña habitación económica.

Encontramos esta habitación perfectamente aceptable para nuestras necesidades de una parada de una noche antes de volar desde el aeropuerto al día siguiente. La habitación, aunque básica, estaba limpia y era cómoda. El restaurante estaba bien, pero el personal se volvió loco y la cocinera no fue muy amable y me dijo que ciertos postres no estaban disponibles, lo cual era evidentemente falso, ya que cuando le pregunté a la camarera por los postres, ella me trajo el " postre no disponible". El personal de recepción fue amable y servicial. Un hotel económico con una excelente relación calidad-precio. Usaría de nuevo.

Jeg har boet nogle gange på dette hotel, og jeg var overrasket over, hvor ringe det er blevet. Det er slidt og lettere beskidt. Der var vildt mange små myrer på mit værelse. Det er bestemt ikke 500kr værd.
