I booked a double room with pool view with half board, great meal options , and it was super lovely, had a great experience, we also had live performances every night which of the highlight of my stay. Would definitely recommend here

Buffet is terrible. This is not directly on the beach rather a short walk. This hotel is NOT a 5 star… the staff was great and the main lobby area looks great but the hallways to the rooms are maybe 2 star.

Beaches are public and had to rent chairs. You can only have one towel. Bad experience at spa. On the breakfast is served a lot of caned fruits. Front desk team are amazing specially Alex .

The hotel itself was really beautiful and staff was friendly and amazing. Tons of families and couples. The beach is across the street and nice strip of restaurants and shops. Also very close to old town so it’s a convenient location.

The check in proses was not so good at all The room was ok but the bed was very uncomfortable most of the staff did not speak good English at all The pool hours were completely ridiculous for a vacation hotel spot. The main pool would close at 7 PM. I don’t understand how did they get the five star rating because this definitely was not a five star hotel in any way possible

Service at the pool was terrible No parking for a guest who booked 2 superior rooms! Couldn’t help me with dinner reservation. Breakfast line was very slow! Need more cooks or helper! Wasn’t really worth the price paid for!

Enjoyed our stay

It's a great property and we very much enjoyed our time. Just did not realize that while its on a beach, its not the pristine beach I see in pictures. The picture beaches are in remote areas. Also while the food at breakfast was great, I would not say dinner was as great. Venture out for dinner.

Fantastic hotel in Playa de Palma

Fabulous hotel, staff were so friendly and welcoming. They brought a complimentary drink by the pool most days. Room was large and clean. Breakfast restaurant was lovely, great food choice. Location is very convenient to beach and Playa de Palma location.

The issue we faced first is that they put a family with two kids in the farest room they have, secondly the shower sprayer and the fridge were not working, the room has small insect everywhere coming out of the wood decoration, vanity kits and other wash items were not prepared, we do not understand why these were not being attended firsthand before the check in?

Area was too built up, too touristy. Just gross.

Amazing stay at the property. Amenities were fantastic and we loved the Sunset Rooftop Lounge. Monica, the concierge went above and beyond to make it an amazing stay. 10/10 recommend.

All good except for the spa, which is tiny and useless. Hit tub was cold and steam room broken.

Fabulous: very quiet, clean, comfortable, friendly

This is my second stay, and it was even better than the first (and it is definitely not the last). While it's a full five-star hotel, it's not so big, so that it feels more like a club than an impersonal hotel. But it has all the necessary facilities. No fancy foyer or other trappings, but if you want a very quiet, clean comfortable room, in a friendly environment right next to the sea, with a terrific swimming pool, bar, restaurant, spa (small, but pleasant, and spotless), I'd recommend it. As importantly, the staff are so friendly and helpful, but not in a fawning manner. As it's quite small you feel you get to know each other over a few days. The only pity is that, on both my visits, the Sunset Bar was closed (but I was still able to go up with a drink from bar down below, to see amazing sunset, but no atmosphere, as no one else there). I am surprised May would be out of season? It's great there is no music by the pool during the day (unlike most other hotels) and you can hear birds chirping! At night the rooms are so quiet, and I slept the best I have ever, in any hotel. You can walk through their own gate into the sea - and the area is nice with some funky bars and nice restaurants. Yet, it's only about 25 mins by bus (leaves right outside the front entrance every 15 mins) to the centre of Palma, for 2 euro! And the airport bus only takes 15 mins and leaves every 30 mins (five euro). It would also be good to have some tea and other drink options in the room.

The reception staff were outstanding. Antonio gave superb and personalized attention. The environment was very relaxing, quiet, & private. Our room was in near perfect condition. We will gladly return!

I am usually really critical of hotels and cruise ships. I have nothing negative to say. Everyone friendly and helpful. Breakfast exceptional. More choices than a cruise ship buffet. Large room with large bathroom. Lots of hot water. Too bad the bed was not a little longer. Then perfect.

I enjoyed my stay very much. My favorite things were the breakfast, sea views from my room, and the complimentary spa that included a private reservation for the sauna and jacuzzi. I paid for a massage at the spa as well; it was delightful. Mercy and Alex, as well as all of the other staff I encountered, were very helpful.

Super overall, very comfortable and friendly

Overall, I was very pleased with my stay, and had a great rest, as hoped for. The hotel is not so big, so everything is very easy to reach and you do not spend ages walking corridors or waiting for lifts. The beds were super comfortable as were the sun-beds. Linen also very good quality. Very good sleep. Food, both breakfast and dinner buffets, was very good (not brilliant, like some other pricier five stars on the island, but, for the price, very good indeed. Only the coffee not so good in the restaurant; good in the bar, where you pay for it). Exceptionally clean everywhere, and the staff really friendly and helpful, without being intrusive. Only 3 disappointments: the Sundowner bar was closed, which I had being looking forward to from the website photos and the 'Spa' is tiny (only one person is allowed to use the sauna, jacuzzi and steam room at any one time!! and the steam room was not working during my stay). Also the edges on the bath-tubs are very sharp. If someone were to slip on the wet tiles in the bathroom area, and hit the edge with their head, it could be fatal. I'm surprised this has passed safety regulations. I only brushed against it, getting out of bath, and got a sharp pain. It might not have a big 'wow' factor, because of it's smaller size, but it has a comfortable cosiness. The access to the beach is fabulous, and the sea is magic for swimming, great waves but safe. Highly recommend overall and would return. Good environmental policies too.

The hotel is nice enough but at around £300 a night does not represent good value for money. For example the room has a coffee maker but only 4 capsules which for replenishment costs €6. That is not what you expect given the price point. The gym was basic with max 10kg dumbells. Final gripe is the rooms lack privacy with no separate door between bedroom and bathroom, and the terrace was average. The staff were friendly and helpful and the spa facility was quite good. Close to the sandy beach. Overall a good 4* but a disappointment for 5*.

My wife and I stayed at this property and after three days of eating at the buffett we both became ill with what was apparently food born illness with severe nausea and vomiting, I suspect food born illness as I realized none of the food staff were using protective hand covering, As a physician I find this appalling from a hotel that claims to be 5 stars!!!!!

It lived up to the pictures. Good value for an ocean front room with lavish breakfast buffet. Excellent service.

Shocked

Nice hotel. Just be aware all inclusive does not cover coffee tea or water and no alcohol. That’s right you have to pay for water at dinner 3.50 euros no beverages are included with meals we thought this had to be incorrect and they told us numerous times a manager would get back to us they did not The facilities were nice.

I like it very much and enjoyed the stay. The only thing I saw that could be improved are the dinning options in the hotel which are quite limited. Also the restaurant staff should allow customers in the dinning room to finish eating before picking up the service and the buffette. I saw this happening everytime the service hours were reached. Once a customer is let into the dinning room he/she should be able to access the buffet un full.

This was probably the cleanest hotel we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The staff was always seen with a smile and everyone truly seemed to love working here and welcoming of their guests! Whenever we are looking for a place to stay, we will search for an Iberostar Hotel.

5 star service

Excellent location- lovely small luxury hotel. Amazing welcome and friendly staff. Good to know that some rooms have open plan bathroom facilities.

We loved our stay at Iberostar Selection Playa de Palma! From the moment we stepped onto the property, every staff member was warm, kind and helpful. The food was really good, the pool area is beautiful and the beach is right across the street. So glad we got the half board because the breakfast and dinner buffets are simply wonderful!

Wonderful place to stay at

I absolutely love this hotel bc of it he staff. They are responsive (quick to action). Everyone from top to bottom has their attention on you but not in a creepy manner. They are just very much in tune to your needs. Before asking for something they already thought about it and provided it. Which I love. The room is amazing. You can’t beat these views. Restaurant very tasty.

Our stay here was amazing. We loved the balcony overlooking the Mediterranean. The beach access was perfect. The staff was amazing and the service we received was above our expectations.

Everything about this hotel was luxury. Rooms are beautiful. Service was second to none. The best was the food. Better than restaurant quality. Everything you could wish for.

We upgraded our room at check in beautiful view of the Mediterranean. The pool area is great to relax in. We did the full board for food as we had been travelling for 2 and a half weeks. Excellent choice, the serving staff were amazing, attentive friendly & professional. Would highly recommend staying here

Overall, not the kind of experience you’d expect for the price per night. Arrived in a taxi with 3 pieces of luggage and nobody came outside to assist, and one staff member even watched me through the glass door. The front desk staff was underwhelming and dry until I asked to speak to a manager about my experience. The kitchen did accommodate my dietary restrictions for the breakfast buffet. Service got slightly better during my trip, but overall the hospitality was not outstanding. Would not stay again.

The staff was extremely professional, the room was extremely clean, modern and well maintained, the breakfast and dinner buffet was incredible with great options and fresh food, and the pool and proximity to the beach was perfect.

We liked the room accommodations and the proximity to the beach. We did not like their restaurant prices and the lack of tennis courts or activities for the guests. The staff was very courteous and kind.

Nice hotel with great staff

Expensive. It is very cheap that you have to pay for water at dinner buffet. At least a water fountain should be available if I don’t want a bottled water. Also at sunset bar where the Entertainement show is , to sit and watch it you have to order a drink! Every place is like a trap for you to pay more.

The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Lovely breakfast and restaurant. The hotel had everything we were expecting.The location was great. Mallorca 2022

Great central location to Palma which is what we were looking for after 10 days hopping around Spain. Easy walking to local shops and food and a quick cab right into Palma town. Clean pool and grounds and the breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied. Nice musical entertainment in the purple lounge and the service there was fun with creative drink suggestions. Lotsa smiles from staff all throughout our stay. Only complaint is smokers would chimney out on their patio and all smoke would rise up into our room. I hate smoking and have no tolerance for the smoke.

Beautiful sunsets

Awesome hotel and awesome service. Close to the beach and walking around and finding good tapa bars and shopping. The spa was fun and relaxing. Enjoyed our partial sea room and watching the sunset from our balcony. Room was very comfortable and large.

Rooms were spacious & clean. Upon check-in we weren’t informed that checkout is at 11am, I receive a wake up call around that time mentioning I need to leave the room or else will be charged. Receptionist nor manager showed any consideration for checking on the possibility of a late checkout. The area wasn’t at all breath taking and not much to do. Nice sandy beach but you aren’t secured a tanning bed as a hotel guest!

The hotel advertised pictures on the website only select floors had access too. They didnt open the sunset lounge at all during our 3 day stay. Overall the room was nice and the breakfast was good.

Good stay BUT rooftop pool only for prestige guest

Hotel is really lovely! Good location - easy to get into Palma and there is a bus stop right outside the hotel. Easy to get to from the airport. Amazing service when you checked in - greeted with cava! Beach is really pretty and you are on the quieter side of the ‘resort’. Walk up the beach and there are more bars and restaurants. The hotel has a really nice sunset bar with evening music performances. Pool area is really nice and clean - although I think it’s important to point out that you don’t have access to the rooftop pool unless you are a ‘prestige guest’. Didn’t think this was well highlighted on the page / website and was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel. So we were really disappointed when we found out we weren’t allowed to use it. The main pool is nice though. Breakfast is amazing - lots of choice and variety - although could improve the coffee as they were from a machine and didn’t taste great! Hotel room was big and spacious, lots of space, clean and well equipped. Although the double bed is two singles pushed together so wasn't that comfortable. Overall very happy with the hotel and would think about booking again if returning to this area of Mallorca.

Great hotel, but Star Prestige not worth it

Overall nice hotel and good value for money if you book the regular rooms. But Star Prestige is way overpriced for what you get. No late checkout for us even though we requested it from the beginning of our stay. i.e. No service in Star Prestige Pool area, need to walk up to the bar and order, food presented on paper plates, and empty glasses were not removed.

Nice hotel in Palma across the street from the beach. The hotel has a nice pool and an amazing breakfast . The staff are nice and amenities are good. The AC was also pretty good. There is no private beach but a public one. Need to rent chairs and umbrellas on the beach separately from hotel. Getting taxis takes close to twenty or thirty minutes. Good bus options close by. Car rentals directly across from hotel along with tennis courts. Rooms were nice however bathrooms small. In the US this would be a 4 star hotel . Nice restaurants close to property. I would stay there again if in Palma.

The hotel services were excellent and totally value for money.. their staff also went out of their way to make your stay comfortable and were very pleasant.. probably could extend their welcome champagne for guest who are waiting for prolonged periods in the front counter although not freshly checked in.. however if I were to come back to Majorca this would totally be my chosen place to stay again

Great hotel, great area in Palma Beach

The hotel was very very nice, top service and kids friendly and for the people going without children also perfect cause they have areas that are adults only... win-win for everyone! The area where the hotel is located is perfect for families as well and very close to the beach. We will defenitely come back!

Short break

Lovely hotel near the beach. Quite a bit closer to Arenal than we realised., surrounding area is quite run down with a hangover from the 70’s feel about it. Parts of Arenal are not attractive with fast food drunken groups of people and very little in terms of Spanish originality. We were half board and the food was good although repetitive (buffet style) with the same basic offering each night with the variety of meat or fish. The alternative is to buy pizza and chips in the nearby food outlets. Room and service was good but they did try to offer us an upgrade for an extr €150 per night. For that you got unlimited drinks and the use of the infinity pool on the top floor as seen in the photos. We turned it down and they made a fresh offer of €100 per night which for the use of a different pool and drinks was a bit cheeky considering what we were already paying. Gym was new but small with a few cardio machines and some weights. Public transport to the airport was cheap and convenient

Find a different hotel , that is really 5 start .

First, during arrival I was not explained if the prestige star benefit , which are not explained in the website , si I decided to go to the rooftop pool and had no access. I asked the reception to gain access and they were not accommodating at all , it wasn’t about availability . Second , air condition can not be controlled to Góngora 19 degrees, the receptionist stated it wa fine could go anything , in route that the control fakest states it can go to 18. Third , I got a call from from desk at 12:05 to remind me check out and leave the toon ASAP ... from Alejandro with poor phone manners .,

The hotel was lovely. Clean and modern. The room was excellent. For the most part, the staff were friendly. However, there were one or two staff members who seemed almost annoyed when you asked them for something simple. The one thing that would put me off going there again is the fact that you cannot enter the restaurant buffet with shorts on. i.e. You must wear trousers. This outdated requirement doesn't work in 30+ degree Celsius weather, especially in a holiday resort... The requirement also wasn't made clear from the start.

Nice pool and lobby/ rooms. I didn't like that it was not made clear that only select members could use the top deck.
