The staay was awesome

The hotel was brilliant, the staff are very friendly and hospitable. There was a variety of options for the food service and drinks. Entertainment was awesome too

Amazing hoyel Very Clean hotel Perfect

Im sorry but this hotel is not as advertised the food was horrible limited choices no water in room or minibar there was a random mattess in the hallway all inclusive was limted .It really should advertised as a assistant living home no activities just plain blah the chef came out for lunch and just stood there like he created a masterpiece it was a masterpiece of unseasoned food and crap!!! The only highlight was when we left!!!!

Not great . For a 4 star Iberostar we were perhaps expecting basic cleanliness and hygiene and decent service . To begin within 2 rounds back to reception because the key cards weren’t working . Apparently the battery in the lock needed charging . These things happen but they could have sent someone to sort this rather than expecting the customer to make the long trip ( our too. Was 300m from reception) . The towels had holes in them and needed replacing . No room service for food . It was 1/2 board and the food was the model of ‘rinse and repeat’ . We are conscious about being vegetarians in an African country where meat is popular but there’s no labelling of food . Their understanding of vegetarian is when fish and meat dishes have vegetables in them ! We paid extra for a sea view room and there’s only so much you can enjoy on an empty stomach . It left us with a bad taste in our mouth ( or perhaps I should say no taste ) . We ended up eating all our meals outside where there’s great options ( in Yasmine Hammamet medina and OGGI )

The hotel was very nice and quiet. The staff were very helpful but there was no room service which we would have liked.

Unfortunately the service was bad the bar staff was lazy to make me Cappuccino! At the Buffet the cutlers And the drink glasses the servant was reusing not even cleaning so sad and disgusting when I saw that!

Excellent hotel

The staff here are very nice and friendly, they made the experience great. The food options are large and good. We did really enjoy our stay here coming from Canada.

Ive been to Tunisia before and the hotels do all have a dated theme. This is accompanied by them being in poor condition. By this i mean stained walls, damaged items, weird smells, unclean surfaces but I'll ignore this for the puporses of the review. Good points - Cleaners are polite and proficient - alot of food options (although most is mediocre at best) - good proximity to beach and a good sized pool. Bad points - Location isnt great, there isnt a whole lot to do there, I'd suggest staying by old town for a more enjoyable experience. - Day reception staff are incredibly rude, they are blunt and almost standoff ish which doesnt make you feel safe since this essentially becomes your home for a few days, i found this to be the case specificially with Houssem and Whaled. - day reception staff will also take advantage of you when you try and book anything through them. For context i asked Whaled about getting a private transfer to Tunis. Id researched enough to know a fair price which was about 220 TND. He quoted me 380 and when I barter he was rude and quite literally walked off. I managed to arrange it myself outside the hotel for 240 TND with a private car (not a taxi). Also just for reference for anyone else reading this, if you want to go to Tunis, take either a coach which is 8TND or a lounge which is about 4TND. You can get this from Minerat hamamet. A taxi to there from hotel shouldnt be more than 12TND. Hamamet old town this shouldnt be more than 10TND from hotel

Averroes is awesome for its price. Dont expect name brand liquors or after midnight entertainment. Enjoy what it does have to offer; Their excursions are awesome and affordable, hooka is awesome, pool water cold but huge!

I loved everything about our stay. The food was amazing. The vibe relaxing and inspiring. The staff a dream. If I were to change one thing, it would be pillow options for sleeping. I like it when fancy hotels have different types of pillows to chose from — firm, foam, down, etc. I will return.

The only thing good about my stay was the room that i got which is to be expected for the price, other than that the food was average nothing unique, and on my last day in the hotel the food gave me severe stomach problems that made my stay unbearable, bar guys were unproffessional wanting to know things that arent their business and finally there isnt much to do compared to other hotels i visited

Early season break

Great break. We spent 8 days all inclusive in this great hotel. Super friendly staff and a location directly on the beach. Good quality food with variety, although the cocktails were a let down. If cocktails are not the most important part of your holiday then I thoroughly recommend! Cleaning standards were high in the room and the communal areas. A hard working animation team produced something different each night. It was very quiet as the week before the Easter break, but that was exactly what we wanted. An hour from Tunis and nothing much to see locally, so just enjoy the beach and the relatively small pool.

Excellent stay , good food quality, professional staff and nice amenities

I am afraid to say the first contact withe the hotel was reception and especially one of them was unhelpful and very rude. It was very clean and food delicious.all other staff very friendly.

The Iberostar way in Yasmine Hammamet at Averroes. This 4 star hotel deserves and even exceeds its rating. Its location on the beach is excellent and provides safety and easy access to the neighborhood including a 15 min walk to the marina and a 10 min walk to Carthage land. I highly recommend this hotel and it’s typically sold out year around.

Food is disgusting, service is really bad does meet the standards of an Iberostar . They offered meat for eveyone which was pork meat and it wad the same meat in the morning no labels of what kind of meat as well. Very disappointed! Not worth the money

Very nice

Beachfront property with friendly and efficient staff, plenty of activities for kids, very decent restaurant with a large variety of food and beverages for everyone. We had a suite with sea view which I highly recommend to make your stay more special. And finally our greatest recognition goes to the chef and the staff at the restaurant, who went out of their way in proposing and preparing gluten-free meals for my wife (she has Celiac disease) with care and empathy, throughout our stay. Many thanks and we'll be back some day.

Lovely surprise a great gem of a find

This hotel was a wonderful surprise a real gem,the staff cannot do enough for you,the food was superb although some people said they didn’t enjoy it because there was to much fish,crab,seafood etc go out to a restaurant in the uk your pay a small fortune for the menu so to have this on your stay was excellent,if you want chips burgers then book butlind and not this hotel,if you want a relaxing holiday then this is the place don’t expect west end shows in the evening as that’s not going to happen,we stayed there with friends and couldn’t fault it and will be going back

Lovely hotel, having visited the area many times I decided to try a different hotel this time. Due to the time of year it was quiet, which i liked. I was very impressed overall with the hotel. The room was bright modern and spacious. The food was of a high standard, staff lovely and location great. I would return

Poor hotel don't book!

It is not worth the visit. So many problems with this hotel, the personel was so rude to me and my wife. No repect for clients! Food was less than medium. There were no toiletry at all in the room and so on I would not recommend at all. Closer hotels in the same region were hundred time more better. Would look at them before even considering this hotel.

Stunning view from my view along with the safety, cleanliness, food and activities offered to hotel guests. The bar staff is awesome as is the animation team especially when it comes to the competitive game of “ pétanque “. I highly recommend this hotel to all my friends and visitors who want safety, good food and leisure while enjoying the incredible views of the Mediterranean Sea.

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The servers were amazing and in terms of food, the spread everyday was good. Keep up the good job

Despite the fact that the hotel staff are trying to cover up with their kindness and hospitality, the facility was in poor condition and need to be renovated. the buffet was all the time with very limited varieties and the taste was just ok. We booked with all inclusive rate and we were somehow obliged to eat at the hotel all the time.

Yasmine Hammamet is home to the most beautiful landscape in Tunisia. It offers the luxury of modern hotel living as well as the stunning beauty of the Mediterranean Sea. I enjoy having breakfast in the terrasse by the outdoor pool and not too far from the sea. There’s plenty of sunshine throughout the day that can be enjoyed in mid-November. Great food, sunshine and stunning views are all yours to enjoy at Iberostar Averroes.

I booked this reservation for my parents. They had a relaxing time and enjoyed their stay. They appreciated how polite and friendly the staff were and liked how varied and delicious the buffet was. We will go back.

Iberostar Averroes is a true 4star hotel known for its service, cleanliness, safety and security and above all its location off the beach. It has upgraded its WiFi system to the point where you have internet access throughout the hotel including its private beach. The hotel is located within walking distance to several attractions including Carthage Land and the Marina. I highly recommend this hotel to any visitor looking to discover Hammamet and enjoy Tunisian beaches and sun.

Enjoyable stay inspite of the long wait

We had to wait for two hours before we were given a room. It turns out that check in is at 3 pm and not at 2, but the reception agreed to extend our check-out with one hour the next day because of that. The food was good and the staff were nice. We enjoyed our stay and the room was beautiful.

Stunning yasmine

Iberostar Averroes is rated at 4 stars and it should be 5 stars. It’s location on the beach is awesome and the views from the large rooms facing the Mediterranean Sea are stunning and breathtaking. The management has taken all the steps to ensure everyone’s safety during this pandemic unfortunately not every guest follows the proper protocol by wearing their masks and keeping their distance. The food at this hotel is excellent with varied menu every day. I truly enjoying playing the game of “ pétanque “ mornings and afternoons by the beach. The weather has been cooperative with plenty of sun. The security is at this hotel is second to none. Come to Iberostar Averroes and enjoy the sunshine and beauty of Tunisia.

Iberostar Averroes is a great place to say. It’s safe, secure and in the beach. The rooms facing the Mediterranean Sea have breathtaking views. I was very impressed by the all the steps taken at the facility from a health point of view during this pandemic of COVID 19.

Ideal location for Averroes Iberostar. Thé Mediterranean view from my room was breathtaking. Also the temperature was much warmer than you will expect for this time of year. I rate this hotel at 5 stars though it’s only a 4 star hotel because of: 1: Safety and outstanding service. 2: Location and stunning Mediterranean views. 3: Great varieties of food. On Thursdays, you will experience all Tunisian dishes. 3: Walking distance to many shopping centers, cafés, Carthage Land, Marina and Of course the beach. This hotel is right on the beach. 4. Animation: The animation team does a great job entertaining all the guests. The folks at the café are hard working and very professional and I want to pass my greetings to them all. The only weak point I see at the hotel is WiFi. It’s reliably available in the rooms due to update in this service hotel wise. I’ll surely come back soon Inchallah.

Food was very poor. Room wasn't clean. Diner almost the same.

We had a very bad welcome, we arrived aroud 16:00 but rooms was not ready and untidy we had to call for towels and pillows cover. Blocked and leaking toilet, we reported the issue but never fixed we had to share toilet of the second room. Food very average and doesn't taste fresh at all. Many dishes are repeated during our stay of 4 nights.

The location was superb with great view of the blue Mediterranean Sea. It’s very safe and close to shipping centers, coffee shops and restaurants. The staff is very helpful and professional.

An excellent hotel with a perfect location in front of the beach and next to malls and dining options. Service is great , special thanks to Ibrahim and wissal at the reception they were so welcoming and ready to help us with whatever we need, Kamal at the restaurant was also very professional and his service was excellent, rest of the restaurant staff including the restaurant manager need more training . Rooms are beautifully decorated and clean with wonderful views over the sea. Will always choose this property when in Hammamet.

Nice, clean and comfy

The swimming pools are nice but should be open at least till 9. Food was ok but a bit bland. Service was helpful. The beach by the hotel is great.

the Hotel is well presented. It would have been nice to use the outside pool which looked inviting but it is unheated and was freezing. Although there is an indoor pool there were a lot of children in it. The WiFi although free is intermittant, fairly slow and only available within the room or certain parts of the hotel and is not secure. It would be good if it could be more reliable and available in the grounds close to the hotel as with good weather you are outside. Other than these points the food was amazing and the hotel clean with good service.

I liked the variety at meal times and the pleasant service from some staff members. We had to change rooms once due to uncleanliness but the second room was better. I would return to this hotel again.

Pros Excellent, friendly and welcoming staff. Entertainment team lead by Hannah absolutely fantastic. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the entertaiment every evening. Dining staff lovely and will go out of their way to help out. Display of a variety of tasty food available. Just to note half board does not include evening drinks. Rooms have ample space and beds are comfortable. Large balconies with beautiful sea views. Cons No kettle facility availabe in rooms - with a baby this proved to be difficult. Tired furniture

Superb hotel by the beach. I can’t say enough about hotel Iberostar Averros. The 4 star rating doesn’t do justice to this magnificant hotel. I will surely give it a 5 star rating in all catégories. It’s located in Yasmine Hammamet which is the center of tourism in Tunisia. The location is ideal. The sea view is breathtaking. The rooms are quite large and well equipped. The safety in this hotel as well as Yasmine Gammamet in general is second to none and guests feel safe and at east walking around town at all hours of the day. The food is awesome with plenty of varieties for everyone. The animation is superb and is varied to entertain guests from many countries. I was struck with the number of tourists from several countries who come to this hotel few times a year to enjoy the natural beauty of this region and of course cherish the sun and the fresh air.

Nice for a quick getaway. A lot of Staff could barely understand english - especially guest services. No air conditioning. Hair dryer kept coming apart. Very few choices on wine. Towels were old and worn. There were a few staff who were great. The restaurant manager, the tall guy in the bar were friendly. We are spoiled when we go to Iberostar in Cancun - it is amazing and we rate other resorts based on this one.

Good option for Hammamet

I was on the half board plan, which basically meant that I had the full breakfast and dinner services, but without free beverages for dinner. A glass of wine was 7.80 TND, which was not totally unreasonable. The grounds were immaculate, and the resort sits right on the beach, which is also nice. The weather in March was cool, and only 3 of my 7 days were warm enough to sunbathe. No one used the pool or ventured into the ocean. The food was more than acceptable, and dinner options changed daily during my week there. Local specialties were my personal favorites, and there was no skimping on meat. The bbw grilled boneless chicken breasts were great, with a good smoky taste and tender, not at all dry. The quality of the baked goods to and pastries was excellent. All in all a great value, and I would not hesitate to return.

Unforgettable, wonderful 7 days

I /we found thr staff and hotel excellent. As Ive stayed in alot of 4 star hotels, I felt this was under rated. We moved to another 4 star that was over rated!! All the staff made us feel like valued guests and I was very sad to be leaving

All inclusive resort in Yasmine Hammamet. I stayed in a couple of hotels in the same area during my trip and this one was the best- it was modern, clean, safe, nice beach. Only thing worth improving is the wifi

Go Averroes

stay was excellent I have been going to hotel Averroes since 2002 I think that is more than sufficient recommendation for it. We were determined to go back this year despite flights from British airlines being cancelled. We have made so many friends out there, and will continue to go back whenever possible.
