Manager,Marcelo was disappointing and demanded an additional €1000, for a room with a bathroom in the room for a few days stay. Very disappointing information on the staircase being 5 stories high without ascensor/elevator.

Great stay near the Duomo ~

Marcelo was great at meeting me to do check in; this is more like a private boutique /self check in hotel…. Real easy to access it and safe neighborhood…very spacious room only downfall is that there is no elevator and it’s on third floor…just FYI- but I was good exercise ;) Breakfast and service was fabulous… simple menu but great quality… I would stay there again!

The lication is wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful. To have an international b&b on the top floor without and elevator is a bit of an issue. Not all guests are 25 year old athletes haha. But over all. This place was charming. Just fix the ac unit.

Good location for the price. They provide breakfast from 8-10am. The staff was easy to reach and provided helpful information. Room was very small, only 1 skylight type window.

Nice place , good location. NO parking on-site ! $ 30 - $45 a night in the surrounding garages. Wi-Fi wasn’t working properly , lots of stairs to access the hotel if you have heavy luggage.

Great location, quiet because windows open towards enclosed courtyard but no views, four story walk up is tiring after hours of walking the city and not easy if you have a lot of luggage, rooms are large and clean with great showers with hot water and small fridge, AC works great which is a must in summer, this is a B&B so except for initial check in, no staff available.

Of all the accommodations I have stayed at in my life, this one was the worst. I am by no means one to complain, but it was awful. The door to our hotel room was lodged when we returned for the night around 10pm. Nobody would answer our calls for hours, there was nobody around, and the building had no cell service. We ended up stranded with nowhere to go, our bags were stuck in the room, and we had to find a hotel for the night. When we tried to inquire with the staff the next morning, they shrugged and said they wouldn’t help or refund us. Door issue aside, our room had no windows and was a major fire / safety hazard. It was also incredibly dirty. Overall 0/10. Would not recommend.

The room was good for being in an old building in old city, as long as you can actually get inside. We knew this property was not manned 24 hours. They give you an emergency number for off hours. THE STAFF DOES NOT PICK UP WHEN YOU CALL IN AN EMERGENCY SUCH AS BEING LOCKED OUT OF THE BUILDING. I had to climb over the front gate (aprx 9-10 feet tall) when the key fob stopped working and they wouldn’t answer despite calling every number they gave us for aprx. 3 hours. The staff member that was supposed to be monitoring the emergency number responsed the next day by telling me “I was sleeping”. I would NOT recommend this property.

From the moment we arrived, to the day we left, we felt so welcomed! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Keep in mind, this hotel is on the third floor with no elevator. The rooms are spacious, although showing their age. I felt that was fine as the building itself is historical. The shower is small- and I’m 5’7! Very clean and within walking distance of everything! The included continental breakfast was perfect before heading out to explore the city. We would definitely stay here again!

If you want to stay in a Rococo residence in the heart of historic Florence (5 min from the Duomo and from San Lorenzo and Cappelle Medicee), in a spacious room, with delicate allegories painted on its ceiling and with a charming view over back gardens, courtyards and hills - this is a perfect choice. Shoutout to Daniele and Adriana, perfect hosts going to great lengths to make travelers feel at home. It is important to note, however, that the B&B is located on the third floor and there is no elevator. There is also not a permanent receptionist but arrangements are made so one is not needed at all times. Quiet. Gated building.

Lovely stay in the room with the fresco ceiling. Clean room and comfortable bed. Very quiet (including the fridge and the aircon). Only marked it down due to the bathroom handle being broken. Yes there are lots of stairs but worth the effort. Good breakfast which they kindly served early on the days that we had bookings to get to. Very friendly and helpful.

The property is very close to the main cathedral, downside is it is on the third floor and hard to access as there is no elevator so be mindful of this if you have heavy luggage, there are probably 300 steps. My room was not very functional, no hot water the first day and no water the last day. I had to contact the reception several times to fix the water or wifi. The wifi was never fixed. The staff also was really hard to communicate with as they speak little or no English. Also if you expect to get any Expedia gold perks you will be disappointed. I asked for my 12 EUR food credit on arrival and they initially said I would not pay city tax to compensate for this but that was not the case as they ended up charging this at the end. The table lamp of my room was broken and the air conditioning makes a loud noice all the time. The bed is uncomfortable. So in general it’s really hard to sleep like this. I bring up these issues at the end of my stay (to someone over the phone because the receptionist doesn’t speak English) and they did not offer apologies nor compensation.

The staff was very friendly and the location was not far from the main attractions. The only negative thing about the property were the flights of stairs you had to take to get to your room.

Very good stay at Quattro Poetti. Very clean rooms with great decor including a fresco in the breakfast room. (Seems everyone in Florence is a painter) Stayed for 3 nights and no issues at all, no noise from the street and very comfortable beds. Breakfast was plentiful and replenished whatever time you arrived. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the centre of Florence. There is quite a few stairs to climb, which the hotel informs everyone about, as long as you don’t mind that it’s a great place!!

Location is perfect for all attractions. Breakfast was excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful. As advised by the hotel, there is no lift, so travel light for a perfect stay. Would recommend and would stay again.

Our stay in Florence

The hotel room was lovely and clean and really spacious. However the beds were uncomfortable and you have to climb up 10 flights of stairs to get to the B and B. This is very hard especially with luggage so keep that in mind when booking.

Very well located right near the Duomo, clean, comfortable, good a/c, loved the classic decor and painted ceiling in our room. Quiet. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Nearby parking garage. The only drawback is there is no elevator and 3 flights of stairs,

We liked the location and the helpful staff. The breakfast was more varied than during our last stay. Despite it's location in the centre, it was very quiet and peaceful. What we were not keen on was the quality of the room. It was quite small and very basic in terms of decoration and furniture. The bedside tables were so small that we could hardly put anything on them and had to have books etc on the floor. The quality of the room was a distinct contrast to the one we had stayed in during a previous visit. We also didn't like the fact that it had an external bathroom. This admittedly was my fault as I did not realise that i was booking such a room. The external bathroom was very narrow and not comfortable to use.

Great Stay!

We had a great stay! It was a walk-up which we knew going into it and was doable (and helps work off the pasta!) The team was lovely and helpful and gave us great restaurant recommendations. We highly recommend paying for the hotel breakfast - we only did the last day and wish we had the whole stay. The only negative is the walls are pretty thin - we could hear every door opening and closing and full conversations from the room next door.

Florence visit with my daughter

Florence is a stunning city. All the attractions are within walking distance. Beautiful food, shops and culture. This hotel was central and very welcoming with some great advice for visiting local restaurants.

The hotel is very close to everything, excellent service. The room was very clean, spacious, bathroom behind "hidden" door which was nice. We only spent one night but was a very nice experience! Would highly recommend!

Me and my friend went to Italy for Spring Break and it was an amazing decision. Not only is this B and B a really good deal it is also only two blocks from the Duomo. Everything is close by and the service was excellent. They provided great information about the local area.

Good bed and breakfast hotel

Location is good. Hotel is good. Breakfast is good. Just keep in mind no elevator. If you have heavy luggage, good luck to you and your back. It’s on the 3rd floor. The workers helped us take it up but they don’t really want to. Overall our stay was great.

Super hotel and great location

Really friendly and helpful staff. When we arrived we were given a map by the very friendly man on the front desk and ideas of where to visit. Hotel was in lovely Florentine style and we had a very nice traditionally decorated room with view towards the mountains and a 12th century ceiling painting. Was very quiet and we had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was lovely; a mix of hot and cold food. Location is fabulous, just five minute's walk to the Duomo and easy to access sights in the opposite direction just as San Marco and only about 20 mins' walk to main train station for day trips. All in all, a fabulous stay.

Great location! Lovely staff. Would stay there again and recommend it. Only slight negative was we had a private but external bathroom. We knew it going in though. So no fault to the B&B.

They allowed us to check in early since my husband was sick. Very helpful for finding places to eat and where to buy and not to buu souvenirs.

Great location for everything

Beautiful room, the staff are great and really helpful - loved the location it is so close to everything but slightly back enough so that you find great places to eat that wouldn’t always find. Only thing I would mention is the stairs, it is clear on the booking that there is no lift but there are quite a few stairs - this just seems normal in Florence though!

This B&B was an amazing value for the price! It is located right in the center of Florence, less than 5 minutes away from the duomo. Considering the price and location, I was expecting it to be a low-quality room. To my surprise, the room was amazing. Each bedroom had a personal fan which was a great touch. Our bedroom had an incredible mural on the ceiling. We felt as though we were waking up every morning in the sistine chapel. The room was extremely spacious and clean. I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone. It is such a hidden gem!

This B&B was so nice. It felt special to be staying in a 14th century building. It was very clean and the staff was very helpful. The surrounding area was really quiet at night also. The stairs are a hefty climb especially with bags, but you get your exercise every day 👍. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay

Place is beautiful and staff is amazing. My wife wasn’t feeling well the morning we were to check out. They let us have the room for a while longer and then let us use one of their other properties ( a short walk away) to rest and have bathroom access. They couldn’t have been more accommodating. If you ring the bell outside the building they will help you carry your luggage up the stairs

It was a very good choice for our needs. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfast with lots of choice. Only disappointment was that I would have liked a comfortable easy chair in the bedroom, as after a long day walking around the city it would have been nice to relax in a comfy chair.I feel there was plenty of room to accommodate One.

Lovely B&B in centre of Florence

We stayed in August 2017, and had a fantastic experience. The room was big, beautiful and clean. The location was very central and it was within walking distance from pretty much everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful - they gave us some great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. Two things to note are that the B&B is on the third floor with no lift, and they cannot provide visitors with an iron due to health & safety reasons. So bring a travel iron if you are going to need one!

Very central quaint hotel

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Poeti! It is central and walkin distance to all the major sites in Florence. It has a cute terrace area and breakfast daily. It is not too modern which I appreciated, it kept the Italian classic beauty. Teodora went out of her way to make it great and I'm very thankful for all of her help. I would most definitely stay here again.

Excellent Rooms in the Heart of Florence!

Excellent, clean, B&B in the heart of Florence, and in a slightly quieter spot just a couple blocks from the Duomo. The staff were exceptional, helping us find our way around and recommending local Florentine spots for great food, etc. We loved the classy, minimal look of the place, with touches here and there reminiscent of the Renaissance. We had a wonderful stay!

Welcoming and comfortable

The hotel is on the top floor of a beautifully authentic florentine building. It is decorated beautifully, with a cosy and welcoming feel. The room was spacious, with tall ceilings and a very comfortable bed. We sat on a small balcony and listened to the church bells in the early evening. Theo looked after us very well, and the breakfast was delicious.

Wonderful location, great place. Theodora is the best host, helpful and funny.

The staff was supper helpful and friendly. Teodora went out of her way to help us booked a tour and came in early one morning so we would have freshly prepared breakfast before our tour.

The Best Place to Stay in Florence

This was a really convenient place to stay in Florence with a great old world atmosphere. You have frescoes on the ceiling, a tasty breakfast in the morning, and really friendly staff that will get you anything you need. However, it is a bed and breakfast that is difficult to find in the dark. It is a small bed and breakfast on the 4th floor of a building, the signs out front are small, and there is no elevator to the top.

Esta ubicado en un cuarto piso con 90 escalones, no tienen elevador y mucho menos alguien que nos pudiera ayudar con las maletas. No tienen servicio de recepción.La habitación que nos dieron tenía baño en un pasadizo fuera de la habitación cuando reclamamos por teléfono nos dijieron que reclamáramos a Orbitz.

Hyggelig og autentisk lille B&B

Rigtig fint lille hotel i flot gammel ejendom. Følte os taget tilbage i tiden, meget autentisk. Hyggelig lille morgenmads lokale. Fin beliggenhed med gå afstand til centrum. Rigtig go betjening med fin guidening i forhold til Firenze Kan bestemt anbefales, hvis man skal være i Firenze et par dag.

Das Personal ist spitze und die Umgebung ist perfekt, um alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß zu erkunden. Das Zimmer ist zwar eher klein, aber es ist alles sa, was man braucht und ordentlich. Ich würde es wieder buchen. Staff is excellent, extremely friendly and helpful and the location is perfect for sightseeing. The room is rather small but everything you need is here and clean. I would book it again.

Chambre spacieuse avec fresque au plafond !! Personne très sympathique : Marcel donne de bonnes adresses avec beaucoup d’humour et la dame qui sert le petit déjeuner est très gentille et toujours souriante. Les 3 étages sans ascenseur permettent de se muscler les jambes 😉

Anche se ha il fascino di una dimora signorile. Salire al 3 piano,senza ascensore ,e un po pesante. ESSENDO unB&Ba3 stella. Mi è stato chiesto una somma eccessiva ,che ho pagato, per la stanza Basic,senza finestre, con un lucernario nel soffitto. Non lo consiglio.

Sjarmerende hotell, sentralt beliggende, svært hyggelig hotellvertskap, rent og pent. Ikke minst ligger hotellet i en veldig sjarmerende bydel - sentralt med likevel litt utenfor turistløypen.

Las fotos que se muestran no tienen nada que ver con lo que son los cuartos. La recepcionista fue muy irrespetuosa. Las instalaciones no están bien. Difícil acceso al hotel y sin especificaciones. Por parte de Expedia, no son claros con las tarifas de este lugar, es carísimo y no lo vale. Llegamos a la recepción y nos cobraron 40 euros adicionales cuando la reserva era para dos personas, deberían de mostrar esto en el precio del hotel, muy engañoso todo y fatal la dinámica de llegada.

Il personale era molto gentile e simpatico. Stanza tranquilla, molto bella. Ci sono le scale da fare per arrivare all'hotel ma ottimo in generale. Lo terrò sicuramente presente se ci sarà un altra occasione.

Razoável

Comprei o quarto com banheiro externo e não reparei... porém, o atendente foi super solicito e nos forneceu a opção de ir para um quarto com banheiro depois de dois dias de estadia, mas já até acostumamos e já estávamos instalados e resolvemos ficar - facilitou porque o banheiro no mesmo corredor - bem no final - do quarto e ao lado. Porém, se estiver com muita mala, PENSE BEM, pois fica no ultimo andar de um prédio sem elevador e são MUITAS escadas.

La struttura è affascinante, dal contesto del palazzo storico con lo scalone monumentale, alla sala affrescata per la colazione, alle camere dedicate ai letterati, all'affaccio sulla corte. Lo standard è alto perché la camera ed il bagno sono molto puliti ed attrezzati ed il personale è estremamente gentile. La scala senza ascensore va salita con calma, ripercorrendo la lentezza dei tempi storici. Ritornerò qui nei futuri soggiorni fiorentini.

Servicio muy bueno, son muy amables. No hay ascensor y los tres pisos son muy complicados de subir, sobretodo con equipaje.

Excelente! Quarto bem fiel às fotos do site; Espaçoso, mobília nova, limpeza diária. Recomendo! Atentar para o fato de ter uma escadaria com 90 degraus para chegar até o BB.

Posizione eccellente x visitare a piedi la meravigliosa Firenze, le camere sono molto belle , pulite e curate. Marco della reception veramente professionale, gentile e attento alle esigenze dei clienti. Non ho dato il massimo punteggio solo perché non c’è l’ascensore e salire a piedi, soprattutto con i bagagli , è scomodo... d’altra parte è un palazzo antico... comunque consigliato!
