This inn has not been well maintained. The furniture and walls are stained, a number of fabrics are frayed, and the towels are thin and gray. Everything has an air of neglect, as if the inn has seen far better days. The inn’s main staff member, Dante, is lovely and keen to please; he works hard to make sure that guests feel cared for. The photos of the inn are significantly idealized, however.

Nice hotel near all the sights

Lovely location just next to the historic gate leading into the old town. All the sights very walkable from here. Good breakfasts and nice terrace in room. Tastefully decorated.

Fantastic accommodation and very near to the city centre. Perfect view of Porta Nuova from the balcony.

The location was the most amazing thing I've ever seen. We had a balcony that was so close to the beautiful Porto Nuovo, it felt like we could almost touch it. Great hotel, and we had a terrific time.

These are small apartments, not a hotel. The amenities are exaggerated, no happy hour, the terrace views are just of the cement ancient gate and rooftops, there’s no coffee or complementary water…The place was decent but certainly not what we expected. The pictures and descriptions make it appear as much more than the reality.

Perfect location, parking available for €15 a day. Breakfast could have been better as could the staff. Our room was tiny, no view, it overlooked the car park. We would return, just for the location.

Dante, the property manager was wonderful! So friendly, knowledgeable and super responsive! The location is just perfect! The breakfast is really nice and there are two wonderful outdoor terraces with amazing views that you sit and eat at. They offer a Happy Hour on the terraces from 5:00-7:00 or you can bring up a bottle of wine and enjoy it up there. The rooms are perfect - super clean and bed is very comfortable! Would definitely stay here again.

This is fantastic serviced apartment to stay in Palermo looking out onto one of the amazing gates and in the centre. We had a lovely large terrace and the welcome and breakfast was fantastic everyone was so helpful and friendly we loved our stay.

Great location and wonderful service.

The staff at I Mori di Porta Nuova is outstanding, especially Dante who made things easy from dinner reservations to local knowledge. The room was HUGE with a lovely view of the Porta Nuova. We already have plans to return.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. The host is very kind and cooks great breakfast for us! Thank you!

Ideal hotel in every way.

Absolutely wonderful. Signora Loradonna and Dante were so helpful about everything. The hotel is beautiful, clean and classy. It’s in the best possible location in Palermo. The breakfast on the terrace was lovely. Can’t say enough about our experience here.

Lovely accommodation, great location, very helpful staff.

It took a few days to settle in and appreciate this B&B. The bathroom was particularly nice with a good shower. We did not like the little chairs that were in the room- much too low to the floor. Otherwise the room served us will for our 8-day stay in Palermo.

Don't hesitate, get the room with a view

Loredana and Dante were impecable hosts at this lovely B&B which feels more like a 4 star boutique hotel. Everything is beautifully designed, the breakfast was delicious, and the patio overlooking Nuova Porta provided great views. A perfect spot to explore Palermo by foot and right beside the Palazzo Normani. Best hotel experience I've had in years and we travel often.

Good location for walking out into Palermo . Staff was very friendly and took care of all our requests including coordinating transportation from /to airport , tips for restaraunts and sights to see .

Beautiful place in a fantastic location. It's worth paying the extra money to get a room with a terrace. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast could be improved, but we didn't care as we were just happy to sit there and enjoy the view. Highly recommended!

Don't think, just book! The building/rooms are beautifully decorated and the amenities are just lovely! Loredana and her staff were so kind, giving us great tips and recommendations even though our stay was short. It's a very great location. Super easy to walk to the center of the city. I highly recommend staying here.

The property is located very close to the main thoroughfare in Palermo. It is an ideal base from which to explore the treasures of Palermo. It is recommended. The staff were very helpful to us.

Wonderful B&B just few minutes away from Palermo city center. The rooms are decorated with exquisite taste. The area is safe and walkable. Parking available next to hotel with a daily fee. Wonderful host, polite friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!!

Superb stay in Palermo

Had a fabulous stay in Palermo! I Mori was in a superb location. The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. The room we had was very spacious and had a separate dining area. We also had a great view from our balcony. Loredana helped with recommendations for dining and for other locations on our tour of Sicily. We couldn’t rate this property high enough!

My wife and I had a great stay at this hotel. The location and the service were superb Liredaba and Dante are amazing host. We will come back!!!

Great find! Perfect location next to Norman-Moorish castle and lovely historical center of Palermo (pedestrian zone) - can walk to everything. Nice old building recently converted to a chic boutique hotel. Has a small elevator so that you don't have to lug bags upstairs. Friendly, helpful staff and good breakfast with cappucino, fruit,and local cheese and charcuterie served on upstairs terrace. Only suggestion - get more croissants so that you don't run out at breakfast! They supplemented with a loaf of white bread to toast, but we didn't want to be eating American toast on vacation in Italy:-) The wonderful local crusty rolls would be a better alternative. Overall, a lovely stay! First time in Sicily and we really enjoyed it.

Charming place near Porta Nuova.. the owner is superb, she texted to make sure I was aware of location, clean and comfortable place with AC, walking distance to many local places

An amazing find!!

We spent 6 nights here and it was a fabulous experience. The location of the hotel is excellent, just steps from the Porta Nuova, the Cathedral and Palazzo dei Normanni. It is right on the edge of the pedestrian zone, so a taxi can take you right to the door. We had a room with a terrace, and we were able to enjoy breakfast there with a beautiful view. Breakfast itself was substantial and delicious. The hotel is spotless and the staff are amazing. Very friendly and welcoming. Loredanna received us and checked us in and also provided great recommendations for restaurants, and tours. She is great! We loved Palermo and plan to return. This will be the home we return to. Mille grazie!

No suelo dejar comentarios en los hoteles, en la web figura 24 horas abierto, al llegar 1am me abrió un empleado en bata. Me tuvo una hora fuera del hotel hasta que encontró mi reserva. Al día siguiente intentaron cobrarme 20 euros por llegar por la noche. Nunca lo imaginé, por cierto no tiene parking y es muy difícil aparcar en la ubicacion

excellent view

L'hotel est juste avant la Porta Nueva dans le quartier historique, très bien placé pour visiter Palerme.. Stationnement doit être réservé car petit (3 places), 15 euros par jour mais vaut la peine car pas de place autour,et bien s'entendre sur l'heure à laquelle on doit le libérer avec la gérante. Rue un peu bruyante mais les fenêtres sont bien isolées.Très bon petit déjeuner, et lit super confortable.

Für unsere Zwecke war die Lage der Unterkunft sehr praktisch, ein guter Einstieg in die Altstadt. Die Unterkunft selbst und die Betreuung durch das Personal waren spitze, einschließlich der Empfehlungen bzgl. Besichtigungen und Aktivitäten.

Uma delícia, ao lado da porta nuova. Localização excelente. A Sra Loredana é maravilhosa e atenciosa. Quartos novíssimos é super limpo. Confortável. Café da manhã farto e delicioso. Super recomendo! Lençóis macios e chuveiro delicioso!

C’est un établissement qui a de la classe! Décoré avec goût et nous avions toutes les commodités nécessaires. J’ai apprécié les croissants tout chauds le matin et la gentillesse du personnel. De plus, nous étions à deux pas du quartier historique.
