The location was ideal, the room was a great size and the staff were pleasant and very helpful.

Our 4th visit to this hotel and again it’s an excellent stay. Rooms are large and beds are very comfortable with a great little kitchen. The breakfast provided is great value and they even organise gluten free bread for me. Easy access from Museum station and the areis quiet opposite Hyde Park. Recommend a stay here to anyone looking for a great value option in the city.

The hotel room overlooked Hyde Park, which was nice (though the road noise was constant). It was a convenient location for a work function (at that end of the city).

Great location, room had a Hyde Park view. Central location to easily walk around Sydney CDB, train station across the road too. Room was self contained, had microwave, stove, fridge etc. was specious and clean. Overall great value for money, would stay again.

We had an apartment for the night. Our only disappointment was that we couldn’t be accommodated for an extra night as we arrived late. Nice and clean. Really cosy! The hotel should remove the “breakfast included” if it only consists of two slices of bread (1 for each person), a couple of one serving peanut butter and jam packets, one pint of milk with two very small kid size cereal bags! Very deceptive.

Cllean, tidy, convenient. Light breakfast was 2 bits of bread to toast, juice and a fruit jelly. Very light - 2 tiny butters and marmalade

Crockery dirty and wet. No teatowel to wash them ourselves

Our only gripe was that the television remote was erratic. It did not appear to be a batteries issue.

Conveniently located apartment. Friendly staff. Room a bit dated and require some upgrades. The stove is very used and lots of spills on the burners make it smoke when turned on and smell bad. The fan above the stove is very loud but does suck the smoke (though the sign says that if the alarm turns on, you are responsible for falls alarm) The breakfast left in the fridge in the room is not good: two slices of square tasteless bread, a cup of preserved watery fruit salad and cup of apple juice. Milk and dry cereal packets are also given. Minimum number of towels are provided and changed daily. 25 min walk to the Sydney Harbor, 25 min to all the neighborhoods with los of restaurants and evening walks Overall an OK place to stay

Value City Stay

We have stayed many times at Hyde Park Inn as it is very convenient, reasonably priced ,easily accessible by public transport and close to everything. We had quite a small room this visit, at the back of the building, so no views to enjoy. We were a little disappointed this time as our room smelled quite musty.

Great location and the light breakfast provided was a nice touch.

We used Hyde Park Inn to stay overnight in Sydney after an overseas flight. It is convenient to nearby Museum Station, check in was uncomplicated, room was good size, shower worked well, view across the road of Hyde Park, good studio facilities with continental breakfast left in fridge. Recommended.

We booked our stay here bwcause of the convenience of the location and the availability of car parking. Unfortunately no parking was available and we had to park offsite which was an inconvenience because it was a couplw of blocks away and we could only enter and leave the car park once per day.

Close to public transport and easy walking distance to Art Gallery and Darling Harbour.

Great for just needing a simple homebase in the center of sydney cbd. You can get straight off a plane onto a train and then you're within 50m of the hotel. You're also right next to the World Square restaurant cluster, so you don't have to worry about finding somewhere decent to eat (but expect Sydney prices). Extremely convenient! But, the hotel itself is pretty tired, and the "breakfast" is white bread and spreads in the mini fridge. However, most importantly - the beds are comfortable, the wifi works well, there's Netflix and free to air, and the showers get hot. So, a solid spot for a relatively inexpensive central sydney hotel.

2nd time staying here, great location to lots of transport, sightseeing and shopping etc, Light Rail not far also, rooms are a bit out dated but I knew that from previous stay. On site parking that is below hotel is tight but my small suv was ok. My only comment would be a bit more attention to finger marks on glass door, microwave etc and general cleaning however a separate issue we had on arrival was dealt with promptly and another room offered. On the days the weather wasnt great we caught a taxi to Westfields Bondi Junction and also Eastgardens to stay out of the wind, reception was happy to order the taxis.

We were upgraded to a 2 room apartment. It was amazing, so spacious. Friendly staff, lots of provisions for the continental breakfast. Close to Museum station so train transport for airport and circular quay cruise transfers was a breaze. 😊

This was the most best hotel I have ever stayed in!!! It had so much space and charm!! The light breakfast was such a great bonus!!! It was within walking distance to everything and having the train stop just across the road made it super convenient to get anywhere!!! Highly recommend!!! Would stay again if in Sydney!!!!

Room was great. The jack hammering was so bad you could not sleep. When we contacted the reception they advised they did not know and could do nothing about it. We would have come on a different day.

Have stayed here a few times but not in the last 10 years. Didn’t disappoint. Went the cheapest, no view room. The tariff includes an in room continental breakfast, more hotels should provide this. Convenient location to everything, right across the road from inner city train station.

We loved how close it was to dining shopping and train facilities . We would stay there again.

The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. There was no traffic noise when the window was fully shut. I would have liked another pillow. And as always, I don't like having only a quilt or doona. Its too hot in summer. I would prefer option of blankets.

The park view was good and the breakfast suited us. Handy for transport, bus and train just across the road.

This property was great. It was spacious, clean and in a great location. It was a bonus to have free parking and a light breakfast included. The only thing I didn’t like was the pillows as they were way too flat but the bed was comfortable. We’ll stay again.

Great location next to train station and buses, also overlooking the park. Minimal noise from Elizabeth st. Spacious room and bathroom. Good included continental breakfast provided already supplied in the room. Pillows were a bit thin and only one extra available - had to request extras. Room decor looked slightly tired but everything was clean.

Rooms were nice but property old. Misleading advertising with the parking. If you can’t accommodate on site don’t accept booking. Parking is a major thing for me. Contact the customer first. Pop your parking on website to say off site 2 blocks away. I have a bad wrist so it limits what I can carry. Parking on site is really tiny. I travel a lot & this is the first time I’ve struck this.

Friendly and accommodating on arrival. The room condition was average but comfortable to stay. The location was excellent and couldn’t be better to explore Sydney city.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights with our 3 children. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was a free continental breakfast in our room which was replenished each day, this was so convenient with 3 kids not having to walk to find something to eat. The location of the hotal was great with easy walking distance to Darling Harbour. The staff were exceptional and couldnt have done enough for you. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.

We love the location and convenience of the Hyde Park Inn. We can choose to walk to desired venues (and often do) or jump on a bus or train. It's nice to be able to look out over Hyde Park as well.
