Very disappointed with our stay. The room was not what we expected from a 5 star hotel. The plaster on the wall was peeling and air freshner was too strong . Very disappointing.

Food quality is okay and limited options. Being Hyatt Regency, their standards need to come up in all criteria’s and they need to match upto other Regencies around India and also globally.

It’s beginning to look a bit dated. Other than that it’s a typical Hyatt! Excellent staff and service. Big props to housekeeping staff (especially Rahul) for prompt response every time we needed extra bottles of water. Morning breakfast (gluten free menu) was also great. Hotel was very good in arranging prompt transportation every time we needed to go out. Loved the Diwali decor and festivities. Very close to a large mall where I could easily get my daily 10K steps!!

The shower cubicle wasn’t clean The some of the staff had a bad attitude I ordered tea she gave everybody biscuits and one person out then I had to ask her She was not happy. For want I paid I don’t think it was worth it

Great staff service. However, the property, rooms and common areas are tired and desperately need refurbishment. Our bathroom was old, wonky taps, bad tiling etc.

The main lobby is nice, but 2 rooms we had were not very well maintained at all, the workmanship was very poor. There was open wiring with electrical tape visible, shower door did not close, the rain shower splattered all the water out, the rooms were musty smellling to name a few examples. We did not expect rooms in this condition for a hotel of this class.

Well maintained property, courteous and knowledgeable staff, special compliments to Munish and Harshit for going above and beyond. Stayed with wife and kid. It is the perfect place for relaxation with excellent facilities inside the hotel (lovely lounge), and the upscale Elante mall at 2 minutes walk offering shopping, dining and kids engagement options. Will stay again when I visit.

Booked the property due to its proximity to the mall. Terrible stay due to the fact was woken up early in the morning by construction right under my room. Constant hammering and drilling. Spoke to 3 different staff before having to go downstairs and speak with the receptionist myself at which point my sleep was completely disrupted. Also wifi was incredibly bad and it was hard to get work done. Had to end up using my hotspot. Was planning on extending but due to such circumstances, went to another hotel instead.

This was a memorable trip. Although I come quite often to India, my wife came to India after 20 years. Hyatt Regency in Chandigarh made it a perfect start. Hotel staff & service are at an another level!! Wow!! We both have to say sincere thanks to Rahul & Pankaj for taking care of every detail, including keeping us well stocked with water bottles!! Morning breakfast buffet is amazing. I will always love watermelon juice!! Added bonus was to see a few of Punjab Kings Cricket team members. Although I only got to know about them after googling IPL & Punjab Kings. Someday I will come back to this very hotel & see an IPL game!! Thank you Hyatt.

As normal in India power went out generators took over 15 min to start. Not sure why India still has power issues and trying to put in place electric cars when they can’t provide enough power to homes.

Overall the stay was good. My only minor comment is that the bed was not as comfortable as I had expected.

Nice hotel

Very hard working hotel crew. They checked us in via whatsapp. Booked our salon/massage even before we got there! Food was amazing!

I had paaoo Bhaji in the dinner and the same they served in the breakfast next morning …. Can’t believe from Hayatt … glass of tea was broken where they served a tea… none staff bothered about services… bathrooms shower pipe was broken…. Pillows cover was in bad condition…. Over all experience was bad this time.

Hyatt is where I always go and stay. It’s the best hotel in town. Supporting staff and very helpful. Only problem is INTERNET. They don’t have consistent internet

Really good food. Pricey, but felt it was worth it.

Little problems.

The lights inside the cupboard were falling. The shower stall handle was shaky. The curtain rod handle was ready to fall. We received our egg breakfast order after 20 minutes!!

Very poorly maintained property and completely unqualified staffing for hospitality industry. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone .

Beautiful lobby but everything else: general ambiance, food, room, bedding, cleanliness, service (slow) was average. The room carpet was had stains. Previously, I had stayed at Marriott and in comparison I found that property to be superior in everything.

The Best Hill station 5 star resort in India.

Hi, we initially planned to say for three nights but extended one more night. I was visiting the property with my family. Checked in seems hassle free no dramas there But we were very disappointed with our experience during Breakfast 4 out of 4 days. Seems like there wasn’t enough staff working or on the roster by the management. Every morning we were seated and after that it seems like a ghost town. The staff there was clueless. None of the staff offered water let along take the beverages order. Every time we have to get off our chair and ask for tea/coffee throughout our stay. I have asked for a avocado and the request has been denied from the chef saying “that they don’t have the avocado” on the last day when I order dosa it came stone cold and found a fly in the Sambar which was awful. Manger and chef came to apologise and asked if I would like something els and I said I asked for an Avocado on a toast yesterday but you guys don’t have it and they said we do have it but it’s on a alcarte Menu and we weren’t sure if you wanted to pay for it. I am not sure if staff has been trained for up selling or not but it’s a very lame excuse to provide. Apart from that the F&B staff seems clueless or not helpful at all and it is very disappointing to see that. I was planning to stay at Hyatt Gurgoan for about 15 days but I am kind of not sure after this experience. Hope things will improve in future Good Luck Varun Mahajan

Refused to clean my room!

The property is well maintained. I was extremely surprised to see that they did not clean my room over the two nights I was a guest. This is despite calling them and meeting them at the reception to do so. Upon checkout when I raised the matter again all I got was an "I am sorry sir, we will escalate the matter". Unacceptable for the type of hotel.

When one stays at a 5 star hotel , a certain amount of comfort n luxury is expected .. that was lacking .. staff seemed demotivated n unenthusiastic ..food was good

Service levels post covid have come down. For any room service had to call 2 to 3 times. Quality of staff attending have also come down. I think hotel needs to train staff attending customer. Room ac not working.

Despite difficult times, the hotel works very well and staff are well trained and focused on guests.

Stayed for 3 nights, family of 5 with 2 rooms with a view of Elante Mall. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. We stayed an extra night and moved up to a suite which was very big and the kids enjoyed it. The service is excellent from the front check-in staff and hosts to the restaurant staff. They adored my kids and I appreciated that. Forgot the names of the staff that we got to know but thank you. Breakfast is great and room service as well. The mall is steps away which we enjoyed.

The air conditioning was not working properly in room 414, on the next day they shifted us to another room i.e 415 and it also has same issue, the staff feel sorry for this but our overall experience was not so good.

The location was amazing since mall was right behind hotel with plenty of options for dining. I wound definitely come back. First rate as soon as you walk in the lobby!

Loved staying there. Got the regancy suit, it was nice and big. Being next elante mall was a bonus. The staff was very friendly however we had a bad experience at at the poolside bar seevice. We waited dor over an hr someone to get us menu to order drinks, by the time we got some we were done hanging out at the pool. The food was great. very clean.

on the whole EVERYTHING is 10/10 credit also goes to the General Manager Nikhil Gandhi and the Front Manager Rahul who both were very helpful in sorting out the initial room problems

One of the best I’ve stayed at. Lovely staff especially ajay, anmol, ayush and arkriti from front desk. Brilliant service overall and conveniently located opposite the elante mall.

The property is in a perfect location as its very close to the Mall but the property is not being maintained well..the Swimming Pool was so dirty that we were unable to look under the water. The Hotel itself has no Concierge, Guest Services refused to provide me with basic Information on the first day of my arrival. The tub in the washroom, due to the water flow it took 1.5 hours to fill the entire tub. Otherwise the staff is quick with providing services
