Great views; strange situation with the glassware

Standard well run American chain hotel. The view from the restaurant and deck area is very beautiful. The resturant is fine and reasonably oriced. The breakfast is the best we have had on our trip so far.My only complaint relates to glassware in the room. The housekeeping did not take the used glasses and replace them with clean glasses until I called reception to ask.

Nice hotel in Vitacura

The hotel is modern and offers a fantastic view of the Andes mountains from the room.

Breakfast was great! The property is in such a safe area you can walk everywhere and the staff was exceptional!

Overall it was great. We had 2 rooms. The bathroom had a few issues, but the team fixed it upon request.

Everything was ok!

We travel 3 adults 1 king bed and a sofa. The sofa bed is very hard and not comfortable at all. Very good location and staff!

Very mixed experience

Negatives: 1) Fox News but no CBS, NBC, or MSNBC???; 2) During a 5 day stay there was hot water in the shower only twice (out of 10 showers) — this was truly unbelievable for a high end hotel! Positives: 1) Staff were excellent in general; 2) Room was spacious, well- equipped and clean.

Hotel was perfectly fine. The shower was pretty poor, but that was the only complaint. Good value for money really.

Very cosy, comfortable and spacious rooms. The hotel is located is an upmarket area just across the mall. Breakfast is lovely with multiple hot and cold selections. We had a very good stay.

Enjoyable First Stay in Santiago

Our family enjoyed our stay at HyattPlace Santiago. The rooms were clean and comfy (especially the bed!) and the our view of the city with mountains in the distance something lovely to wake up to each morning. The service was great. Staff were attentive and friendly overall, but we especially appreciated the help from one of the housekeeping staff who, when one of our family members got sick during our stay, helped make the room more comfortable, brought extra tissues, and helped direct us to closest pharmacy. Also when I had trouble with my room’s air conditioning not cooling the way I thought it should, the front desk had maintenance arrive to the room in under 5 mins and it was fixed and set up correctly with in 10 minutes! Finally, our family enjoyed relaxing on the lovely roof patio with a a few snacks and drinks for a few hours after checkout as we awaited our pickup for evening flight back to the USA.

Great Hotel but breakfast is lacking

Hotel is amazing but the breakfast is lacking for hot items. The usual spread of breads, fruit, meat / cheese platter with cereal and various milks. When it comes to hot items it lacks options with only eggs, potatoes, sauage or bacon which rotates. Beware the sauage is not fresh and is very hard to eat. One can order fried eggs and Omlets but aside there aren't many options or local items that the locals would eat for breakfast. Thankfully the breakfast has a coffee machine as the drip coffee is weak. Breakfast aside the hotel lacks English speaking staff with the front desk hardly understanding English. Room cleaning is also odd they don't understand to replace the free coffee when cleaning rooms and replace the two mugs either. When you call for the coffee replacement they don't understand anything even the front desk till one repeats it very slowly main times. The hotel is good but needs to hire fluent English speaking staff at least at the front desk and one who works the breakfast area. Finally, redo the breakfast offering to include more hot items and add local breakfast items as well.

Lovely hotel clean and comfortable with a good breakfast. Minuses were that few staff spoke any English and there were no tourist advice services

Hotel in a beautiful neighborhood. Room is clean and big. Staff was disappointed….. they dont speak English and also don’t try to…. One of the staff during breakfast when I asked for an apple told me that: we are in Chile here we speak Spanish. It didn’t seem like a Hyatt hotel. I would not stay there again.

The property is very good, staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is substandard. Choices are limited in general and if you are vegan, almost nothing decent is available. For a property of this caliber, more can be expected.

Hyatt Santiago Vitacura is a great hotel- the room was very spacious and had amazing views of Los Andes. The staff was very friendly and responded to many of our questions providing recommendations about the area and clarifying any questions we had.The hotel is in a great area (safe and modern). We used Uber for transportation and worked well

Very clean , and the location is great !

Property is very well located, far from heavy noise and close to everything, even walking distance to some shopping malls. We've had some issues with air conditioning and water temperature that leaded to a room change, sadly with 2 days of delay. Also on a holiday, breakfast was too crowded and missing staff which leaded to certain failures and lack of food. But staff was always willing to help and solve hotel issues.

The hotel itself is clean, quiet and very friendly staff. A very good breakfast bar is included with eggs, bacon, fruits, pastries, etc. The hotel is right next door to a multi-level shopping mall with Starbucks, several restaurants (Thai food, pizza, burger/beer joint, sushi, and Peruvian sit-down restaurant). There's also a grocery store there. Everything is very clean, bright, new, and as nice as can be. The hotel is also close to downtown, great to catch Ubers or tour buses.

A very good hotel. Best yet that I've stayed in for travelling around Santiago. Mountain View rooms are high recommended. 8th floor for me and view was excellent. Room came with corner sofa. Breakfast was decent spread. Ive stayed in some expensive hotels in Santiago, but for quality and location, I would choose this over the more expensive ones. The view from top floor is amazing. Only downside is pools are like large baths. Not big if you like your 'length swimming'. Gym was OK.

Their check out is a big mess ... they refund you the deposit and everything they charge o. Your card only to recharge ot all at ones. Their credit card machine was broke. So i had to pay for everything cash and still waiting for a refund.

Perfect for a business stay

I came in for a 6-day business trip. first day in quarantine - the staff was very helpful with room service and urgent things I needed as my luggage did not arrive. Good WiFi and breakfast. fantastic roof terrace overlooking the city and mountains. The location is good - good and safe area, with a few restarauts and a supermarket 100m from the hotel.

El desayuno es a la habitación y solo comienzan a repartir a las 8 AM, todos los días, bats are poco compatible con actividades diarias de lunes a viernes. Además, no cumplen con el horario solicitado y comprometido. Room service de fuera del horario de funcionamiento del restaurant ( gmhasta las 20:15) es muy reducido, uno o dos sandwich, un tipo de pizza y horneados dulces. Los puntos altos, la pieza es amplia y cómoda, la cama es de buena calidad, la calefacción funciona bien. Si hace falta una mesita que permita comer el desayuno con comodidad, solo hay una especie de puff bastante inestable. El hotel tiene potencial pero los servicios en época de pandemia están muy reducidos y de baja calidad, lejos de lo que uno acostumbra al visitar un Hyatt.

Sad experience

Well, where should I start ? I start with the only friendly person I met - the young gentleman who checked me in- friendly and professional. Nevertheless his colleague had the same mentality as his colleague the next morning and could be described as: “what matters a guest?” She even putted her belt in her pants while serving at the same time at the front desk ! The room: Smell of old carpet heated by strong sun light. Several parts of the sealing broken over the table. Bathroom: the bathtub does not work since the part to let the water in is broken- just the shower functions. Around the bathtub the insulation is full of mold - many black spots. The overall impression: not recomendable This Pullman hotel has a strong need of investments to fresh the rooms up. The staff feels somewhat of belonging to an elite club. Did they forget it is about service in business class not being the “passenger” there?

Base in Santiago

It was a good stay at a Hyatt that feels new. The breakfast was phenomenal and definitely worth adding. My only complaint is that some of the rooms smelled a little. We checked in and out several times during our stay in Chile. Although they did let us change rooms with no problem. The staff were WONDERFUL and let us have a very late checkout.

For being a Hyatt the hotel it sucks, the personnel is bad and are not Courtious except the bell boys and the security people who are very good amd diligents. the restaurant personnel thibk they are doing you a favor. I really regreted going the by brand name.

Great place, new property and well located

The room was pretty big, the breakfast was quite good and the location was very good as well. the staff was very nice and attentive. we were there for 4 nights and were at the hotel just for sleeping and having breakfast. for this it was perfect.
