Been staying at different Hyatt's and this one is great as always - friendly staff, clean, family feels safe. Would stay again for sure.

Clean close to the events easy parking

From the moment we walked in we were greeted by staff that were friendly with excellent customer service. The hotel smelled fresh and the hotel room was very clean. The location is so convenient. We definitely will stay here again!

Convenient hotel for families

The Hyatt Place was a very convenient place to stay. We watched a musical and it wasn't very far. This hotel is also close to Oracle Park and is close to many restaurants. The room was comfortable and we did have a good view of the city. They do have a garage for parking but it's pretty expensive. There's another one across the street for way less if you're willing to walk a bit. Overall, it was a good stay for a family of 4.

This hotel was perfect for walking to and from chase center for show.

It was close to the venue of an event I was running.

My only complaint is the breakfast was very mediocre for the price and there was no room service. The 24 hour Taco Bell across the street made up for it though.

We love this location - within walking distance to Chase Center and super close to Muni lines. This area also feels safer than most. The Hyatt staff is so friendly and accommodating and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It’s the perfect place to stay if coming to SF for a Warriors or Giants game or even just to visit the city.

The hotel was nice, the staff at front desk were nice and our room was clean and the gym was clean and had a good amount of equipment. The reason for 3 stars is because no one ever came to clean our room during our stay and when we had to leave a day early, we were told by both Expedia and Hyatt Place that they could not give refund or a credit because the other entity wouldn’t allow it. I was able to get a credit from Alaska airlines and I booked my tickets through Expedia as well. Expedia would not let me get a credit. It was only 1 day early we had to leave.

My only complaint is there was no room service. Other than that, the hotel was perfect.

Challenging to sleep on the third floor

Nice hotel, but the third floor was so noisy from street traffic. Can you close the blinds in the corner bedroom? I never found out how to do it. There was a sofa bed, which we used but no blanket or comforter, just sheets. We asked for one the 2nd night and received. All the employees were excellent. Thanks.

Every staff member we encountered was professional, friendly, and helpful. All of our requests were met with smiles and ease, and the room was BEAUTIFUL. The hotel is easy to access, centrally located with wonderful food nearby. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel only down fall is the parking

Very clean property and the staff was super friendly. Parking was across the street at a covered paid lot. It was very safe and only $30 for overnight parking. Walked to the Chase Center. Easy 20 minute walk. Oracle Park is across the street.

Great place to stay

Neighborhood very safe. Your neighbors include a number of the world's top high tech companies. Staff very responsive and helpful. Minus one start for an electrical problem in our room. Wouldn't expect this in another.

Nice staff and hotel inside, but pretty average.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Being just outside of downtown, it was very quiet, but only ever a short walk or taxi fare into the city. The staff were very accommodating. Extremely comfortable bedding. It's worth travelers knowing that a rather steep deposit is taken on check-in, so be prepared for this. This didn't spoil a great trip, though.

Stayed here the night before outpatient surgery at UCSF. Less than a five minute drive to the hospital and so close to everything else. View from our room was spectacular!

Lady should not be working front desk

Location is A+, glad to see not so many homeless around. On Christmas eve & Christmas day should have top service workers, not lady in front desk. Rude, and uneducated staff does not represent Hyatt Staff.

Our stay was great. Definitely will stay there again in the future.

Hotel looked deserted. We had to park on the side of the road. The area around property looked a bit unsafe.

The parking was ridiculously priced also our sheets were dirty when we arrived to the hotel. I don’t think I would come back to this hotel again. The people were nice but for the price I don’t believe this was worth it.

The stay was okay until we found dirty panties left behind from a previous person staying in the room we occupied. We are still waiting on our full refund. Pretty gross and disgusting. The parking was very hard to get into and out of. All and all we would not stay here again.

Luxurious and wonderful stay!

Booked this hotel because it advertised parking and restaurant but when I tried to checkin they you can't park that SUV here you can go down the road to park and pay. Had to pay for another hotel.

Staff gave me a non-desirable room, stating that I had booked it through Expedia and could not get my desired room.

The only drawback is that there is no parking and valet parking is very expensive.

Love that parking was only 30 bucks a night!

We were lucky to get parking as they only had a few spaces. We’re surprised to be charged for breakfast as after explanation we thought it was included.

Paid extra for a room with a view. Curtains in room were ripped and did not lift all the way. When I notified front desk, maintenance came up and tried to tell me that the curtain was meant to be that way. Only after I said I will be requesting a room change, did he then spend 30 minutes replacing the broken curtain rod. Roof vent was broken and fell down releasing dust into the room. Since staying at this hotel I have been sick. Had a homeless guy spit on me outside of the hotel as well. Overall, I would not return here. By far my worst experience with a Hyatt property.

It was good experience but my neighbors were very loud and they were slamming the door again and again that was annoying. I literally felt that someone was trying to open my door. But I won’t blame on hotel for this.. It was my neighbors. Overall ambience was good restrooms were great. So cozy and nice bedroom. Everything else was perfect.

Good location, very clean rooms, quiet at night

I understand I made the reservations under my account, but when my brother wanted to check in due to me running late stuck in traffic, he should be allowed to. He’s willing to put up his card on the line especially for something like 3 rooms that I’d reserved he should have been allowed to check in on my behalf.

Parking was inconvenient as they charged $85 per day and staff have to go unlock the gate for parking lot every time you need access to it.

The parking is limited, everything else was excellent.

Great spot for the price. Also has a breakfast if you are interested. Comfy bed, big tv, and fridge. What else can you ask for after a long day exploring. Easy walking distance to pier 39, Chinatown, Coit tower, and pretty much a lot of the tourist spots! Would recommend!

Great stay in a safe and clean environment with helpful and friendly staff and service

Wonderful stay at this hotel! It is well-located, just in front of the Oracle stadium. It is very clean and the breakfast buffet offered a reasonable set of options. Finally, the staff was very courteous and accommodating.

Nice people nice hotel ! Parking sucks but I’ll be back

The hotel rooms are much smaller than pictured and the walls are very thin. Parking is a joke. I appreciate that it’s safe, but having to ask someone from the front desk to walk you down to the garage and open the garage both ways was inconvenient. The staff however were wonderful!

Paid extra money for a high floor with a city view as advertised in the pictures of the rooms. Got to my room and the view was the complete opposite of what was shown on the website. Checking in, the hotel’s parking garage was full which I would have wished they would have been more clear that a spot needs to be reserved despite already having a reservation for the same night.

It was my first time staying at this hotel and I have been to SF so many times, I do not want to stay in another hotel now after being here, lol. The staff was so nice and sweet, I was able to do early check-in and late check-out! Absolutely loved it here!!!

We always stay here for the night after watching a Warriors game. Its just 15 to 20 minutes walk.

We were dismayed to find ourselves parking in a distant garage, rather than at the hotel as indicated. This crucial detail was absent from the online description, making our experience feel quite unsettling. Additionally, we specifically booked a room with a view, yet were given one overlooking the street. Instead of enjoying the beautiful skyline, our window was obstructed by a massive billboard blocking the scenery. This was truly disappointing!

Our room was ready upon arrival. Very friendly staff. Very quick and easy check in. Room is big and clean. Great location if you are going to an event at Chase center.

The room was clean and had a view of downtown SF. The rooftop bar was an added bonus! The staff were friendly and helpful which was great. Overall, I would stay here again especially because of the location with plenty of bars and restaurants in the area, and very walkable and convenient.

I liked the Cleanliness of the property, customer service of the staff. However I did not like the fact they do not have an airport shuttle nor do they have a luggage scale on property

Overall good stay, the only issue was the thin walls and front door to the room, we were able to hear people coming in and out all hours of our stay and even when they would talk in their room. Ask for a room away from the elevator if you’re a light sleeper! Staff was friendly and helpful, even got an early check in which was much needed. Thank you all!

It was very convenient to the Chase center and their rooftop restaurant was great.
