I liked the parking garage
Its a nice property. The staff is friendly and helpful. Its conveniently located 2 blocks from the hospital.
The room was clean and sheets are crisp
Really enjoyed our stay. Close to train for getting to tourist attractions. We tried to avoid going out at night as area seemed a bit rough based on the local businesses and maintenance of pavements. But hotel had plenty of amenities and was really well set up so it wasn't an issue.
Friendly staff a clean hotel
O
Convenient to the hospitals. The shuttle drivers are simply awesome. Coffee is excellent with a delicious breakfast.
Clean rooms. Comfy beds. 5 minute drive to Md Anderson. Awesome breakfast. Secure parking garage. Great customer service.
Excellent customer service, convenient to MD Anderson, facility has all amenities needed, super complimentary breakfast.
The hotel was very clean. The front desk person when we checked in, Chelsea, was very friendly. The parking garage, rather than an open surface lot, was a plus. Although we didn’t use the shuttle, another guest commented to us on its convenience I would stay there again.
Overall a nice property. Not much to do within walking area but a short 10-15 min drive for us where we needed to be.
Good stay… just an overnight
Liked the breakfast.... Did not like elevators... did not like that bathroom had no tub
Hotel was clean. Beds uncomfortable and when the room was “cleaned” they just took the garbage and linens but didn’t even make the beds or vacuum. Was not a bad experience I just probably won’t return.
Love the place!
El cuarto muy bien y muy amplio , el desayuno muy feo y no tenía mucha variedad, la limpieza de la habitación debe ser diaria .
As a solo traveler, I did my research as far as finding the most perfect hotel in Houston. And may I say this hotel I will definitely be coming back! My three days at this hotel made me feel so comfortable and blessed to be able to feel safe at the Hyatt. All the employees we so nice and the best part about this hotel were the shuttles to different attractions that they listened. The pool and gym were very clean I highly recommend this hotel
The stay was ok, but I was there for emergency medical treatment of family member and the price stated 139.00 At the end of a 2 night stay it was over 450. That is tough with all your added fees. I would have chosen differently if I knew that.
Nice place
Definitely would book again
If I’m walking into the lobby area, you could tell that they took pride and cleanliness really warm and welcoming staff. We did a quick turnaround trip and My Son didn’t even want to go to the event because he loved the room so much definitely will book again.
Most of the washing machines and dryers were out of service. And the showers water was lukewarm, i was on the 9th floor
According to me I had pay the hotel but still was for more n not explain what for
Had a great experience and will definitely be back!
Excellent
Perfect location. Good breakfast & clean room.
Modern amenities
It was clean and generally good. However, it was difficult to find the entrance for the car and the surrounding area felt unsafe.
Very good for the price
Overall property was nice but I dont like staff customer service. I lost one of my item and staff member were not sincere enough to look and find out my stuff that is poor customer service. I didn't expect this.
We loved this stay.
On my way back
Room are spacious and nice, although nothing special. Housekeeping was a mistery, not knowing when one will get fresh towels. Elevators are slow and also no food delivery to the rooms, which is inconvenient. Location is just ok
I really enjoyed staying here. Comfy beds, good showers, great pool and hot tub, nice gym, free laundry. Breakfast was good too except when they ran out of coffee and took 30 min to replenish. Close enough to the museum district to walk or take the train that is close by. Big thumbs up to Alesia at the front desk when we checked in after a long travel day. Big thumbs down to Adam in the kitchen for mouthing off to me and then badmouthing me to other clients.
Going great
Worst hotel i ever stayed in. No one came to clean in the 6 nights we were there. It was incredibly dirty and dusty. You leave a phone on the table at night and in the morning it would have a huge layer of dust on it. Breakfast was until 9am which is very early if you’re travelling for fun and don’t want to get up at 8am on vacation. Even when we did make it, breakfast was horrible. Runny eggs, bread, cereal. Had to ask front desk for coffee or tea. Spare duvets not available. We had children and they didn’t get bedding, had to go out and get our own blanket in walmart. Overall bad experience and would not recommend staying not will i be there again.
Not too great
Great customer service
Bad experience
We arrived on Friday. The dining area on Saturday morning was way over packed with people. Breakfast was a very negative experience with no free tables, long lines, and so many people waiting for the food containers to be refilled. On top, it looked as the hotel staff were understaffed and unready to serve all the guests. The room was never cleaned for the entire 3-night stay, although we verified on Sunday morning that it was scheduled to get cleaned on Sunday, and then we asked twice(!!) to ensure it was on the list because it was not cleaned by 4 PM. Mattresses were very soft or very used; we could not sleep well with these. So happy to be back home. Parking was a $15-per-day surprise, and one has to take 2 elevators from the room to the parking lot or vice-versa. I expected much more from this hotel. Reviewers graded it as 9, I give it 4. I would not go back to this hotel even for half the price.
The pictures of the rooms as seen online are real, a true reflection of the actual. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. My only downside was the physical location. It wasn’t in the best of neighborhoods. Furthermore, you have to take two different elevators to the parking and rooms. You will be charged for parking. Overall, it was a good experience.
I stayed at this hotel for a weekend and This hotel was so much more than I could have previously anticipated. The overall experience was really good, the staff was super attentive, the food was also fairly good! I have very
Not clean
Nice hotel, I will recommend.
More like a supermarket feeling than a hotel
So full! Restaurant so small for the amount of people having breakfast. You won’t have a clean bedroom until the 4th. Night and clean towels just upon request
friendly staff.
The stay was wonderful and the front desk receptionist was very attentive. They gave a hand out with things to to around the area for both food and amusements. This location was in the medical center area, we could hear the ambulances every once in a while when they took off, but not terribly loud. I liked the safety of using the cards to access elevators, because you never know. We were on the top floor and it had a great view of the city off in the distance. We are planning to stay here again.
Good location between medical village and nrg stadium; safe and easy garage parking. Excellent facilities and lovely staff.
Nice new property.
Very convenient location for travelers receiving medical care in Houston
Definitely recommend this hotel especially if you’re visiting the medical center
This hotel was great and so was the staff I'd stay here again
Had a great stay. Family was happy.
I would have rated the property 4 stars if the breakfast had been better. I feel like i didn't get my money's worth of stay because the free breakfast was so horrible. We then had to take extra time to find other breakfast options in the area before getting our day started, which wasted time since they're is nothing within walking vicinity. No pancakes, no waffles, runny bland eggs, and only 1 option for meat gave my sons a very grumpy, hangry start to the day. Me as well. Only positives I can give about breakfast was the fruit was fresh and the coffee was good. Everything else about my stay was fine.
Safe and comt
Very good hotel, will stay again and recommend. Just need to have microwave in room and exhaust in bathroom, other than that everything was good including the parking.
Everything was clean and comfortable
Excellent
Corporate GREED
My stay was fine. However it is absolutely ridiculous that Hyatt wants to charge $50 if you want to check in early. That's nothing but straight up GREED!!! If the rooms are available why charge? It's that type of GREED that infuriates people!!!
Loved our stay at Hyatt Place. Great breakfast, friendly staff, easy parking, nice-sized room and very comfortable. Only downsides are the frequent ambulance noises due to location, voices carrying from the pool-side area and door “slamming” in the hallway (doors do not have a soft slow automatic closing system, and close loudly). Kept us up due to frequent foot traffic in the hallway around 12:30am before a flight home the next morning. Other than us being overly sensitive for one night of sleep when we knew we had an early flight - we slept great the first two nights. Was also an easy drive to get to MD Anderson Cancer Care Center and only took us 10-15 min to get into Houston’s music district for a night out. Thank you Hyatt Place!
Good
Very good experience, clean, quite and convenient location
Great and clean hotel in a perfect location.
Everyone was veey helpful, friendly and courteous.
Go elsewhere
Pointless waste of money and time. Handicapped and they put me on the top floor as far away from the elevator as they could. Breakfast was eggs, camadian bacon, bad coffee, and toast. Pointless, ive had better stays at motel 6. Oh did i mention they charge you $15 for parking?!?! In TEXAS!? This isnt nyc.
Desk people were helpful, polite, professional, had a smile on their face.
Excellent hotel
I don't usually review anymore as there have been a ton of them over the years but this hotel was excellent. The staff were very friendly, rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious unlike most hotels. Lots of fresh fruit, lots of options. I'd go back here again.
Friendly and helpful employees. Close to hospital where we needed to be. Great breakfast!
The stay overall was really good. We did get to check-in a little early which was nice. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. There was ample parking in the garage. There was some minor damage in both of the rooms. There was no microwave in the rooms we booked. The elevators were really slow. There was only one elevator for the parking garage. Once you got to 1st floor from that elevator, you had to jump right back on the room elevators. The rooms were very spacious with a nice big sectional couch.
Loved the location to MD Anderson...just a weird entrance area
The ac in the room was not working properly and there was no water for several hours.
Great Stay
Very nice hotel, comfortable, convenient to the medical center & NRG events. Great breakfast and a lovely bar.
Nice facility, good location
Confused with elevator operatition very awkward the breakfast dry no yuogurt for fruit just meat dry and odd setup not organized
The Hotel is beautiful. The continental breakfast was Superb! The staff, very friendly, professional & helpful. The pool was so beautiful & relaxing. I loved the entire experience.
Clean, friendly staff, and great location!
We enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect for our visit. We were disappointed in the fact we had booked a King bed but they said they didn’t have any and gave us two queens. Wouldn’t be a huge concern if we didn’t have our toddler with us who rolls around and for safety reasons the king was necessary. We made it work nonetheless and had a nice stay. Continental breakfast was good and had many options (except yogurt which was new for us. Usually our toddler only eats yogurt but luckily we brought our own). Very friendly staff! Will definitely come back again! Heads up there is garage parking with a $15 a night fee that’s added to your final bill.
Food was great
Kimberly and Justin were exceptional! Very knowledgeable and accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure my family’s stay was pleasant. The premises were clean and quiet. The dining options were excellent—great quality continental breakfast and wonderful lunch/dinner options. The proximity of the hotel to other attractions is definitely a major factor when booking and this surpassed expectations.
Clean
The parking garage
Very clean and staff was great!
It was good
The room was spacious
I love Hyatt Place Hotels. I think the rooms are well appointed, and the staff is always lovely. Whether they are bigger or smaller, they always manage to create a sense of coziness. Thanks to the staff for making us feel like family!
Great location and clean property, staff was friendly and helpful
Overall good
Everything was absolutely perfect at this hotel and all of the staff made my birthday weekend so special and enjoyable. Makayla at the front desk was the sweetest ever! She helped me with pretty much everything. Definitely booking again!!!
M
Best stay near medical campus
The staff are phenomenal at this hotel. So kind and attentive!
Had issue with the water supply for almost 2-3 hours after we checked in, other than that no complaints.
Good trip
Very clean and comfortable hotel. Close to things I was interested in doing. I think they should have some kind of notification of where to park when checking in, whether it’s on the website or outside the hotel. Because parking in the front of the hotel is very dangerous! I would definitely stay again because now I know where to park.
The hotel was very clean and well designed. All of the staff were extraordinarily friendly and helpful. I did think it a little strange that their local shuttle service only runs Monday through Friday, but other that that everything else was great.
Great place close to MDAnderson ca center
We had a good stay. Breakfast had bunch of different options. We will stay again next time we go to Texans game.
We are in our sixties and was put in the room farthest from the elevator and in a room facing outside,we had to listen to every ambulance siren that came by so we didn’t get any sleep at all ,so far not very happy about our choice for a hotel
Best Hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Give everyone a raise!
Friendly staff.
Area does not provide many walkable food options. Shuttle employees were great but shuttle operation seems unorganized. You never know when they will be available to go to the medical center since they go anywhere in a 2 mile area. Sometimes they are back in 20 minutes sometimes longer periods if they are running people to restaurants and stores. But appreciate the effort. Parking charge is to much.
Super wheelchair friendly. Thank you for helping us out with a room at the last second. The room was fabulous.
Parking is a scam, your paying a premium to stay with Hyatt, only to find out after you arrive, their parking is 15$ per night. Toilet paper holder in room was falling off the wall. Homeless folk come up to you the second you walk out the door and ask you to vouch for them to come inside for food. Room cleanliness was 'Ok'. Staff was polite.
Very nice hotel. Very friendly staff. Would stay here again
